< 2 Chronicles 28 >
1 [was] a son of Twenty year[s] Ahaz when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and not he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh like David ancestor his.

2 And he walked in [the] ways of [the] kings of Israel and also molten images he made for the Baals.
Israel manghai rhoek longpuei ah pongpa tih Baal rhoek hamla mueihlawn khaw a saii pah.
3 And he he made smoke in [the] valley of Ben Hinnom and he burned sons his in the fire according to [the] abominations of the nations which he dispossessed Yahweh from before [the] people of Israel.
Anih loh kolrhawk ah a phum tih BOEIPA loh Israel ca mikhmuh lamkah a haek namtom rhoek kah a tueilaehkoi la hmai dongah a ca rhoek a pup.
4 And he sacrificed and he made smoke at the high places and on the hills and under every tree luxuriant.
Hmuensang ah khaw, som ah khaw, thing hing tom kah a hmuiah khaw a nawn tih a phum.
5 And he gave him Yahweh God his in [the] hand of [the] king of Aram and they defeated him and they took captive from him a group of captives large and they brought [them] Damascus and also in [the] hand of [the] king of Israel he was given and he defeated him a defeat great.

6 And he killed Pekah [the] son of Remaliah among Judah one hundred and twenty thousand in a day one all [were] sons of strength because had forsaken they Yahweh [the] God of ancestors their.
A napa rhoek kah Pathen BOEIPA te a toeng uh dongah tatthai ca boeih te hnin at dongah Judah kah Remaliah capa Pekah loh thawng yakhat neh thawng kul a ngawn.
7 And he killed Zikri - warrior of Ephraim Maaseiah [the] son of the king and Azrikam [the] officer of the house and Elkanah [the] second of the king.
Ephraim hlangrhalh Zikhri loh manghai capa Maaseiah, a im kah rhaengsang Azrikam, manghai hnukthoi Elkanah te a ngawn.
8 And they took captive [the] people of Israel of relatives their two hundred thousand women sons and daughters and also booty much they plundered from them and they brought the booty to Samaria.
A manuca khui lamkah Israel ca rhoek te a yuu khaw, a capa khaw, a canu khaw thawng yahnih te a sol pauh. Te lamkah kutbuem muep a poelyoe uh tih kutbuem te Samaria la a khuen uh.
9 And there he was a prophet of Yahweh [was] Oded name his and he went out before the army which was coming to Samaria and he said to them here! in [the] wrath of Yahweh [the] God of ancestors your towards Judah he gave them in hand your and you have killed among them in a rage [which] to to the heavens it has reached.

10 And now [the] people of Judah and Jerusalem you [are] saying to subjugate to [male] slaves and to female slaves for yourselves ¿ not certainly you with you [are] guilt to Yahweh God your.
Judah koca neh Jerusalem nang te salnu la, salpa la kang khoh eh a ti coeng. Nangmih kongah namah neh na taengkah khaw, na Pathen BOEIPA taengah dumlai moenih a?
11 And therefore listen to me and return the group of captives which you have taken captive from relatives your for [the] burning of [the] anger of Yahweh [is] towards you.
Kai ol he hnatun lamtah na manuca taeng lamkah na sol tamna te mael laeh. BOEIPA kah thintoek thinsa tah nangmih soah om coeng.
12 And they rose up men some of [the] leaders of [the] descendants of Ephraim Azariah [the] son of Jehohanan Berekiah [the] son of Meshillemoth and Jechizkiah [the] son of Shallum and Amasa [the] son of Hadlai on the [ones who] were coming from the war.
Ephraim koca boeilu lamkah hlang rhoek Jehohanan capa Azariah, Meshillemith capa Berekiah, Shallum capa Hezekiah, Hadlai capa Amasa loh caempuei lamkah aka pawk rhoek te a mah uh.
13 And they said to them not you must bring the group of captives here for to [the] guilt of Yahweh on us [are] you? saying to add to sins our and to guilt our for much guilt [belongs] to us and burning of anger [is] towards Israel.
Te phoeiah amih te, “Tamna te hela hang khuen uh boeh. Kaimih ham BOEIPA kah dumlai rhung la. Mamih kah tholhnah ham neh mamih kah dumlai ham ka koei eh na ti uh te. Mamih kah dumlai neh Israel sokah thintoek thinsa mah khawk coeng,” a ti uh.
14 And he left the [man] equipped the group of captives and the plunder before the commanders and all the assembly.
Te dongah aka pumcum rhoek long khaw tamna neh kutbuem te mangpa rhoek neh hlangping boeih kah mikhmuh ah a toeng.
15 And they arose the men who they had been designated by names and they took hold on the group of captives and all naked people their they clothed from the booty and they clothed them and they shod them and they fed them and they gave to drink them and they anointed them and they led them on donkeys any [one who] stumbled and they brought them Jericho [the] city of the palm trees beside relatives their and they returned Samaria.

16 At the time that he sent the king Ahaz to [the] kings of Assyria to help him.
Te vaeng tue ah manghai Ahaz loh amah aka bom la Assyria manghai te a tah.
17 And again [the] Edomites they had come and they had defeated Judah and they had taken captive captive[s].
Edom khaw koep ha pawk tih Judah te a ngawn phoeiah tamna la a sol uh.
18 And [the] Philistines they had made a raid on [the] cities of the Shephelah and the Negev of Judah and they had captured Beth Shemesh and Aijalon and Gederoth and Socoh and daughters its and Timnah and daughters its and Gimzo and daughters its and they dwelt there.
Philisti khaw kolrhawk khopuei neh Judah kah Negev ah capit tih Bethshemesh khaw, Aijalon khaw, Gederoth khaw, Sokoh neh a khobuel rhoek khaw, Timnah neh a khobuel rhoek khaw, Gimzo neh a khobuel rhoek khaw a loh uh tih pahoi kho a sak uh.
19 For he had humbled Yahweh Judah for sake of Ahaz [the] king of Israel for he had allowed lack of restraint in Judah and he had acted unfaithfully unfaithfulness against Yahweh.
Israel manghai Ahaz kong ah ni BOEIPA loh Judah te a kunyun sak. Anih loh Judah ah a hlahpham dongah ni BOEIPA taengah boekoeknah la boe a koek uh.
20 And he came on him Tiglath-pileser [the] king of Assyria and he harassed him and not he strengthened him.
Assyria manghai Tiglathpileser khaw anih taengla pawk dae anih te a daengdaeh tih a duel moenih.
21 For he had plundered Ahaz [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of the king and the officials and he had given to [the] king of Assyria and not for help for him.
Ahaz loh BOEIPA im neh manghai im te khaw, mangpa rhoek khaw a tael tih Assyria manghai taengla a paek dae anih ham bomnah la a om pah moenih.
22 And at [the] time harassed him and he increased to act unfaithfully against Yahweh that the king Ahaz.
Amah kah puencak tue vaengah pataeng khaw BOEIPA taengah boekoek ham aka khoep tah manghai Ahaz amah ni.
23 And he sacrificed to [the] gods of Damascus which had defeated him and he said that [the] gods of [the] kings of Aram they [are] helping them to them I will sacrifice and they will help me and they they became for him causing overthrow his and all Israel.
Amih aka bom Aram manghai rhoek kah pathen te ka nawn daengah ni kai m'bom uh van eh a ti tih, amah aka ngawn Damasku pathen te a nawn. Tedae te anih taengah tah amah neh Israel pum te aka paloe sak la poeh uh.
24 And he gathered Ahaz [the] utensils of [the] house of God and he cut up [the] utensils of [the] house of God and he closed [the] doors of [the] house of Yahweh and he made for himself altars at every corner in Jerusalem.
Ahaz loh Pathen im kah hnopai te a coi tih Pathen im kah hnopai te a top. Te phoeiah BOEIPA im kah thohkhaih te a khaih tih Jerusalem kah bangkil boeih ah amah ham hmueihtuk a suem.
25 And in every city and a city of Judah he made high places to make smoke to gods other and he provoked Yahweh [the] God of ancestors his.
Pathen tloe rhoek taengah phum hamla Judah kah khopuei, khopuei boeih ah hmuensang te a saii tih a napa rhoek kah Pathen BOEIPA te a veet.
26 And [the] rest of matters his and all ways his former and latter there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] kings of Judah and Israel.
Anih kah ol noi neh a longpuei boeih te a kung a dong khaw, Judah neh Israel manghai rhoek cabu khuiah a daek uh coeng he.
27 And he lay down Ahaz with ancestors his and people buried him in the city in Jerusalem for not they brought him to [the] graves of [the] kings of Israel and he became king Hezekiah son his in place of him.
Ahaz te a napa rhoek taengla a khoem uh vaengah tah anih te Jerusalem khopuei ah a up uh ngawn dae Israel manghai rhoek kah phuel ah tah anih te tlak sak uh pawh. Te phoeiah a capa Hezekiah te anih yueng la manghai.
