2 Chronicles 27
1 [was] a son of Twenty and five year[s] Jotham when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Jerusha [the] daughter of Zadok.
Yotam menjadi raja pada usia 25 tahun, dan ia memerintah di Yerusalem 16 tahun lamanya. Ibunya ialah Yerusa anak Zadok.
2 And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Uzziah father his only not he went into [the] temple of Yahweh and yet the people [were] behaving corruptly.
Yotam menyenangkan hati TUHAN, seperti Uzia ayahnya. Hanya ia tidak membakar dupa di Rumah TUHAN, seperti yang dilakukan ayahnya. Sekalipun demikian, rakyat terus saja berbuat dosa.
3 He he built [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh upper and on [the] wall of Ophel he built to abundance.
Yotamlah yang membangun Pintu Gerbang Utara di Rumah TUHAN, dan memperkuat tembok Yerusalem di daerah yang disebut Ofel.
4 And cities he built in [the] hill country of Judah and in the wooded areas he built fortresses and towers.
Ia mendirikan kota-kota di pegunungan Yehuda dan benteng-benteng serta menara-menara di hutan-hutan.
5 And he he waged war with [the] king of [the] people of Ammon and he prevailed over them and they gave to him [the] people of Ammon in the year that one hundred talent[s] of silver and ten thousand cors wheat and barley ten thousand this they brought to him [the] people of (Ammon. *LBH(a)*) And in the year second and third.
Ia memerangi dan mengalahkan raja Amon bersama tentaranya, lalu memaksa orang Amon membayar upeti. Setiap tahun selama tiga tahun berturut-turut mereka harus membayar 3.400 kilogram perak, dua jenis gandum, masing-masing 1.000 ton.
6 And he strengthened himself Jotham for he had directed ways his before Yahweh God his.
Yotam menjadi semakin berkuasa karena ia setia dan taat kepada TUHAN Allahnya.
7 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jotham and all wars his and ways his there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] kings of Israel and Judah.
Peristiwa-peristiwa lain dalam pemerintahan Yotam, peperangan-peperangan dan siasat-siasatnya, semuanya sudah dicatat dalam buku Sejarah Raja-raja Israel dan Yehuda.
8 A son of twenty and five year[s] he was when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem.
Yotam berumur 25 tahun ketika ia menjadi raja, dan ia memerintah di Yerusalem selama 16 tahun.
9 And he lay down Jotham with ancestors his and people buried him in [the] city of David and he became king Ahaz son his in place of him.
Ia meninggal dan dikuburkan di Kota Daud, lalu Ahas putranya menjadi raja menggantikan dia.
