2 Chronicles 27
1 [was] a son of Twenty and five year[s] Jotham when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Jerusha [the] daughter of Zadok.
Fünfundzwanzig Jahre war Jotham alt, als er König ward, und sechzehn Jahre regierte er zu Jerusalem. Seine Mutter aber hieß Jerusa, die Tochter Zadoks.
2 And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Uzziah father his only not he went into [the] temple of Yahweh and yet the people [were] behaving corruptly.
Und er that, was Jahwe wohlgefiel, ganz wie sein Vater Usia gethan hatte; nur drang er nicht in den Tempel ein. Das Volk aber handelte noch immer verderbt.
3 He he built [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh upper and on [the] wall of Ophel he built to abundance.
Derselbe baute das obere Thor am Tempel Jahwes; auch baute er viel an der Mauer des Ophel.
4 And cities he built in [the] hill country of Judah and in the wooded areas he built fortresses and towers.
Dazu baute er Städte auf dem Gebirge Juda und in den Wäldern baute er Schlösser und Türme.
5 And he he waged war with [the] king of [the] people of Ammon and he prevailed over them and they gave to him [the] people of Ammon in the year that one hundred talent[s] of silver and ten thousand cors wheat and barley ten thousand this they brought to him [the] people of (Ammon. *LBH(a)*) And in the year second and third.
Derselbe führte auch Krieg mit dem Könige der Ammoniter und überwand sie. Da gaben ihm die Ammoniter in jenem Jahre hundert Talente Silber, zehntausend Kor Weizen und zehntausend Kor Gerste; diesen Betrag lieferten ihm die Ammoniter auch im zweiten und dritten Jahre.
6 And he strengthened himself Jotham for he had directed ways his before Yahweh God his.
So wurde Jotham immer mächtiger; denn er führte seinen Wandel stetig im Angesichte Jahwes, seines Gottes.
7 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jotham and all wars his and ways his there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] kings of Israel and Judah.
Was aber sonst noch von Jotham zu sagen ist und alle seine Kriege und Unternehmungen finden sich aufgezeichnet im Buche der Könige von Israel und Juda.
8 A son of twenty and five year[s] he was when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem.
Fünfundzwanzig Jahre war er alt, als er König ward, und sechzehn Jahre regierte er zu Jerusalem.
9 And he lay down Jotham with ancestors his and people buried him in [the] city of David and he became king Ahaz son his in place of him.
Und Jotham legte sich zu seinen Vätern, und man begrub ihn in der Stadt Davids. Und sein Sohn Ahas ward König an seiner Statt.
