< 2 Chronicles 27 >
1 [was] a son of Twenty and five year[s] Jotham when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Jerusha [the] daughter of Zadok.
Jotham was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. His mother’s name was Jerushah daughter of Zadok.
2 And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Uzziah father his only not he went into [the] temple of Yahweh and yet the people [were] behaving corruptly.
And he did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, just as his father Uzziah had done. In addition, he did not enter the temple of the LORD. But the people still behaved corruptly.
3 He he built [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh upper and on [the] wall of Ophel he built to abundance.
Jotham rebuilt the Upper Gate of the house of the LORD, and he worked extensively on the wall at the hill of Ophel.
4 And cities he built in [the] hill country of Judah and in the wooded areas he built fortresses and towers.
He also built cities in the hill country of Judah and fortresses and towers in the forests.
5 And he he waged war with [the] king of [the] people of Ammon and he prevailed over them and they gave to him [the] people of Ammon in the year that one hundred talent[s] of silver and ten thousand cors wheat and barley ten thousand this they brought to him [the] people of (Ammon. *LBH(a)*) And in the year second and third.
Jotham waged war against the king of the Ammonites and defeated them, and that year they gave him a hundred talents of silver, ten thousand cors of wheat, and ten thousand cors of barley. They paid him the same in the second and third years.
6 And he strengthened himself Jotham for he had directed ways his before Yahweh God his.
So Jotham grew powerful because he ordered his ways before the LORD his God.
7 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jotham and all wars his and ways his there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] kings of Israel and Judah.
As for the rest of the acts of Jotham, along with all his wars and his ways, they are indeed written in the Book of the Kings of Israel and Judah.
8 A son of twenty and five year[s] he was when became king he and six-teen year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem.
He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years.
9 And he lay down Jotham with ancestors his and people buried him in [the] city of David and he became king Ahaz son his in place of him.
And Jotham rested with his fathers and was buried in the City of David. And his son Ahaz reigned in his place.
