2 Chronicles 24
1 [was] a son of Seven years Joash when became king he and forty year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Zibiah from Beer Sheba.
W siedmiu latach był, Joaz, gdy królować począł, a czterdzieści lat królował w Jeruzalemie. Imię matki jego było Sebija z Beersaby.
2 And he did Joash the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh all [the] days of Jehoiada the priest.
I czynił Joaz, co było dobrego przed oczyma Pańskiemi, po wszystkie dni Jojady kapłana.
3 And he took for him Jehoiada wives two and he fathered sons and daughters.
A Jojada dał mu dwie żony; i płodził synów i córki.
4 And it was after this it was with [the] heart of Joash to renew [the] house of Yahweh.
I stało się potem, że umyślił w sercu swojem Joaz odnowić dom Pański.
5 And he assembled the priests and the Levites and he said to them go out to [the] cities of Judah and collect from all Israel money to repair - [the] house of God your as often as a year in a year and you you will do quickly the matter and not they acted quickly the Levites.
Przetoż zebrawszy kapłanów i Lewitów rzekł do nich: Wynijdźcie do miast Judzkich, i wybierajcie od wszystkiego Izraela pieniądze na poprawę domu Boga waszego na każdy rok, a wy się z tem pospieszcie; ale się nie spieszyli Lewitowie.
6 And he summoned the king Jehoiada the chief and he said to him why? not have you required on the Levites to bring from Judah and from Jerusalem [the] tax of Moses [the] servant of Yahweh and of the assembly of Israel to [the] tent of the testimony.
Tedy wezwał król Jojady, przedniejszego kapłana, i rzekł mu: Przeczże się nie upominasz u Lewitów, aby znosili z Judy i z Jeruzalemu podarki postanowione przez Mojżesza, sługę Pańskiego, zgromadzeniu Izraelskiemu, na namiot zgromadzenia?
7 For Athaliah the wickedness sons her they had broken into [the] house of God and also all [the] holy things of [the] house of Yahweh they had used for the Baals.
Bo Atalija niezbożna i synowie jej wyłupili dom Boży, a wszystkie rzeczy poświęcone z domu Pańskiego obrócili na bałwany.
8 And he said the king and they made a chest one and they put it at [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh [the] outside towards.
Przetoż rozkazał król, aby uczyniono skrzynię jednę, a postawiono ją przed bramą domu Pańskiego.
9 And they made a proclamation in Judah and in Jerusalem to bring to Yahweh [the] tax of Moses [the] servant of God on Israel in the wilderness.
I obwołano w Judzie i w Jeruzalemie, aby znoszono Panu podarek postanowiony przez Mojżesza, sługę Bożego, na Izraela na puszczy.
10 And they were glad all the officials and all the people and they brought and they threw to the chest until finished.
I weselili się wszyscy książęta, i wszystek lud, a przynosząc, rzucali do onej skrzyni, aż ją napełnili.
11 And it was at [the] time [when] someone brought the chest to [the] overseer of the king by [the] hand of the Levites and just as saw they that [was] much the money and he came [the] scribe of the king and [the] officer of [the] priest of the head so they may pour out the chest and they took it and they returned it to place its thus they did to a day - in a day and they gathered money to abundance.
A gdy przynosili skrzynię na rozkaz królewski przez ręce Lewitów, (gdy widzieli, że było wiele pieniędzy) przychodził pisarz królewski, i przystaw kapłana najwyższego, i wypróżniali skrzynię; potem ją odnosili, i stawiali ją na miejscu swem. 12 And he gave it the king and Jehoiada to [the] doer of [the] work of [the] service of [the] house of Yahweh and they were hiring stone cutters and craftsmen to renew [the] house of Yahweh and also craftsmen of iron and bronze to repair [the] house of Yahweh.
Które oddawał król i Jojada przełożonym nad robotą około domu Pańskiego; a ci najmowali kamienników i cieśli do poprawy domu Pańskiego, także i kowali robiących żelazem i miedzią, ku zmocnieniu domu Pańskiego.
13 And they worked [the] doers of the work and it went up [the] repair for the work by hand their and they erected [the] house of God on measurement its and they strengthened it.
A tak robili robotnicy, i brało naprawę ono dzieło przez ręce ich; i przywiedli dom Boży do całości swojej, i zmocnili go.
14 And just as had finished they they brought before the king and Jehoiada [the] remainder of the money and someone made it articles for [the] house of Yahweh articles of service and offering up and pans and articles of gold and silver and they were offering up burnt offerings in [the] house of Yahweh continually all [the] days of Jehoiada.
A gdy dokończyli, przynieśli przed króla i przed Jojadę ostatek pieniędzy, a narobiono z nich naczynia do domu Pańskiego, naczynia ku posługiwaniu, i moździerzy i czasz, i innego naczynia złotego i srebrnego, a ofiarowali całopalenia w domu Pańsk im ustawicznie po wszystkie dni Jojady.
15 And he became old Jehoiada and he was satisfied days and he died a son of one hundred and thirty year[s] at death his.
Potem zstarzał się Jojada, a będąc pełen dni, umarł; sto i trzydzieści lat miał, gdy umarł.
16 And people buried him in [the] city of David with the kings for he had done good in Israel and with God and house his.
I pochowano go w mieście Dawidowem z królmi, przeto, że czynił dobrze w Izraelu, i Bogu, i domowi jego.
17 And after [the] death of Jehoiada they came [the] leaders of Judah and they bowed down to the king then he listened the king to them.
A gdy umarł Jojada, przyszli książęta Judzcy, i pokłonili się królowi; tedy ich usłuchał król.
18 And they abandoned [the] house of Yahweh [the] God of ancestors their and they served the Asherah poles and the idols and it was wrath towards Judah and Jerusalem in guilt their this.
Skąd opuściwszy dom Pana, Boga ojców swych, służyli gajom i bałwanom; przetoż przyszedł gniew na Judę i na Jeruzalem dla tego występku ich.
19 And he sent among them prophets to bring back them to Yahweh and they warned them and not they gave ear.
I posyłał do nich proroków, żeby ich nawrócili do Pana; którzy choć się oświadczali przeciw nim, ale ich przecież nie słuchali.
20 And [the] spirit of God it clothed Zechariah [the] son of Jehoiada the priest and he stood above the people and he said to them thus - he says God why? [are] you transgressing [the] commandments of Yahweh and not you will prosper for you have forsaken Yahweh and he has forsaken you.
Owszem, gdy Duch Boży wzbudził Zacharyjasza, syna Jojady kapłana, (który stanąwszy przed ludem, rzekł im: Tak mówi Bóg: Przeczże przestępujecie przykazania Pańskie? Nie poszczęści się wam; albowiem iżeście wy opuścili Pana, on was też opuści.)
21 And they conspired on him and they stoned him stone[s] by [the] command of the king in [the] courtyard of [the] house of Yahweh.
Tedy się sprzysięgli przeciwko niemu, i ukamionowali go za rozkazaniem królewskim w sieni domu Pańskiego.
22 And not he remembered Joash the king the loyalty which he had done Jehoiada father his with him and he killed son his and when dying he he said may he see Yahweh and may he require.
I nie pamiętał król Joaz na miłosierdzie, które był uczynił z nim Jojada, ojciec jego, ale zabił syna jego; który gdy umierał, mówił: Niech to obaczy Pan, a zemści się.
23 And it was - to [the] circuit of the year it came up on him [the] army of Aram and they came to Judah and Jerusalem and they destroyed all [the] leaders of the people from [the] people and all booty their they sent to [the] king of Damascus.
I stało się po roku, przyciągnęło przeciwko niemu wojsko Syryjskie, a przyszło do Judy i do Jeruzalemu, i wygładzili z ludu wszystkich książąt ich, a wszystkie łupy ich posłali królowi w Damaszku.
24 For with smallness of men they came - [the] army of Aram and Yahweh he gave in hand their an army for multitude exceedingly for they had forsaken Yahweh [the] God of ancestors their and with Joash they did judgment.
Bo w małym poczcie ludu przyciągnęło było wojsko Syryjskie; a wżdy Pan podał w ręce ich bardzo wielkie wojsko, przeto, iż opuścili Pana, Boga ojców swoich. A tak nad Joazem wykonali sądy.
25 And when went they from him for they had left him (with sicknesses *Q(k)*) great they conspired on him own servants his in [the] blood of [the] sons of Jehoiada the priest and they killed him on bed his and he died and they buried him in [the] city of David and not they buried him in [the] graves of the kings.
A gdy odciągnęli od niego, zostawiwszy go w wielkich niemocach, sprzysięgli się przeciwko niemu słudzy jego dla krwi synów Jojady kapłana, i zabili go na łożu jego. I tak umarł, a pochowano go w mieście Dawidowem; ale go nie pochowano w grobach królewskich.
26 And these [are] the [ones who] conspired on him Zabad [the] son of Shimeath the Ammonite [woman] and Jehozabad [the] son of Shimrith the Moabite [woman].
A cić są, którzy się byli sprzysięgli przeciw niemu: Zabat, syn Semaaty Ammonitki, i Jozabat, syn Semaryty Moabitki.
27 And sons his (it will be numerous of *Q(K)*) the oracle on him and [the] founding of [the] house of God there they [are] written on [the] record of [the] scroll of the kings and he became king Amaziah son his in place of him.
Lecz o synach jego, i o wielkim podatku nań włożonym, i o naprawie domu Bożego, to wszystko napisane w księgach królewskich; i królował Amazyjasz, syn jego, miasto niego.
