2 Chronicles 22
1 And they made king [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem Ahaziah son his young in place of him for all the former [sons] it had killed the marauding band which came with the Arabs to the camp and he became king Ahaziah [the] son of Jehoram [the] king of Judah.
Dân cư thành Giê-ru-sa-lem lập A-cha-xia, con trai út của Giô-ram, làm vua thay vì người; vì đạo quân đến với dân A-rạp xông vào trại quân, đã giết các con trai lớn hơn người. Aáy vậy, A-cha-xia, con trai Giô-ram, vua Giu-đa, lên ngôi làm vua.
2 [was] a son of Forty and two year[s] Ahaziah when became king he and a year one he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Athaliah [the] daughter of Omri.
A-cha-xia được hai mươi tuổi khi người tức vị; người cai trị một năm tại Giê-ru-sa-lem; tên mẹ người là A-tha-li, con gái của Oâm-ri.
3 Also he he walked in [the] ways of [the] house of Ahab for mother his she was [female] counselor his to act wickedly.
Người cũng đi theo các đường lối của nhà A-háp; vì mẹ người là kẻ bày mưu giục người làm điều ác.
4 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh like [the] house of Ahab for they they were of him counselors after [the] death of father his to destruction of him.
Người làm những điều ác trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va, như nhà A-háp đã làm; vì sau khi vua cha qua đời, nhà A-háp làm kẻ bày mưu cho người, gây cho người bị bại hoại.
5 Also in counsel their he walked and he went with Jehoram [the] son of Ahab [the] king of Israel to war on Hazael [the] king of Aram at Ramoth Gilead and they wounded the Arameans Joram.
Người cũng theo mưu chước của chúng mà đi với Giô-ram, con trai A-háp, vua Y-sơ-ra-ên, đến Ra-mốt tại Ga-la-át, đặng tranh chiến cùng Ha-xa-ên, vua Sy-ri. Dân Sy-ri làm cho Giô-ram bị thương.
6 And he returned to get himself healed in Jezreel for the wounds which they had wounded him at Ramah when fought he with Hazael [the] king of Aram and Azariah [the] son of Jehoram [the] king of Judah he went down to see Jehoram [the] son of Ahab in Jezreel for [was] being ill he.
Người bèn trở về Gít-rê-ên, đặng chữa lành các dấu thương người đã bị tại Ra-ma, khi đánh giặc với Ha-xa-ên, vua Sy-ri, A-cha-xia, con trai Giô-ram, vua Giu-đa đi xuống Gít-rê-ên đặng thăm bịnh Giô-ram, con trai A-háp.
7 And from God it was [the] downfall of Ahaziah by going to Joram and when went he he went out with Jehoram to Jehu [the] son of Nimshi whom he had anointed him Yahweh to cut off [the] house of Ahab.
Việc A-cha-xia đi đến cùng Giô-ram bởi ý Đức Chúa Trời, và gây cho người bị bại hoại; vì khi người đến tận nơi, bèn cùng Giô-ram kéo ra đánh Giê-hu, con trai Nim-si, là người Đức Giê-hô-va đã xức dầu cho, đặng trừ diệt nhà A-háp.
8 And it was when entered into judgment Jehu with [the] house of Ahab and he found [the] officials of Judah and [the] sons of [the] brothers of Ahaziah serving Ahaziah and he killed them.
Xảy đang khi Giê-hu trừ diệt nhà A-háp, lại gặp được các quan trưởng Giu-đa và các con trai của anh em A-cha-xia vẫn phục sự người, thì liền giết chúng nó đi.
9 And he sought to find Ahaziah and people captured him and he [was] hiding himself in Samaria and they brought him to Jehu and they put to death him and they buried him for they said [was] [the] son of Jehoshaphat he who he sought Yahweh with all heart his and not for [the] house of Ahaziah to retain strength for kingship.
Người cũng tìm A-cha-xia đang ẩn tại Sa-ma-ri, người ta bắt người, dẫn đến cùng Giê-hu, rồi giết người đi, đoạn họ chôn người, vì nói rằng: Hắn là con trai của Giô-sa-phát, tức người hết lòng tìm cầu Đức Giê-hô-va. Trong nhà A-cha-xia chẳng còn ai có thể giữ quyền cai trị nước được.
10 And Athaliah [the] mother of Ahaziah she saw that he was dead son her and she arose and she destroyed all [the] offspring of royalty of [the] house of Judah.
Vả, khi A-tha-li, mẹ của A-cha-xia, thấy con trai mình đã chết, bèn chổi dậy diệt cả dòng giống vua Giu-đa.
11 And she took Jehoshabeath [the] daughter of the king Joash [the] son of Ahaziah and she stole him from among [the] sons of the king who were being put to death and she put him and suckling-nurse his in [the] chamber of the beds and she hid him Jehoshabeath [the] daughter of the king Jehoram [the] wife of Jehoiada the priest for she she was [the] sister of Ahaziah from before Athaliah and not she killed him.
Nhưng Giô-sa-bát, con gái của vua, bồng trộm Giô-ách, con trai của A-cha-xia, đem khỏi vòng các con trai vua mà người ta toan giết, rồi để nó và kẻ vú nó trong phòng ngủ. Như vậy, Giô-sa-bát, con gái của vua Giô-ram, vợ thầy tế lễ Giê-hô-gia-đa, giấu Giô-ách khỏi trước mắt A-tha-li, và A-tha-li không giết nó được; Giô-sa-bát là em gái của A-cha-xia.
12 And he was with them in [the] house of God hiding six years and Athaliah [was] reigning over the land.
Giô-ách bị ẩn giấu với họ trong sáu năm tại đền thờ của Đức Chúa Trời; còn A-tha-li cai trị trên xứ.
