2 Chronicles 22
1 And they made king [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem Ahaziah son his young in place of him for all the former [sons] it had killed the marauding band which came with the Arabs to the camp and he became king Ahaziah [the] son of Jehoram [the] king of Judah.
Vanhu veJerusarema vakaita Ahazia, mwanakomana waJehoramu mudiki pane vose, mambo panzvimbo yake, nokuti vapambi vakanga vauya navaArabhu muJudha, vakanga vauraya vamwe vanakomana vake vakuru. Saka Ahazia, mwanakomana waJehoramu mambo weJudha, akatanga kutonga.
2 [was] a son of Forty and two year[s] Ahaziah when became king he and a year one he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Athaliah [the] daughter of Omri.
Ahazia aiva namakore makumi maviri namaviri paakava mambo, uye akatonga muJerusarema kwegore rimwe chete. Mai vake vainzi Ataria, muzukuru waOmuri.
3 Also he he walked in [the] ways of [the] house of Ahab for mother his she was [female] counselor his to act wickedly.
Iyewo akafamba munzira dzeimba yaAhabhu nokuti mai vake vaimukurudzira kuita zvakaipa.
4 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh like [the] house of Ahab for they they were of him counselors after [the] death of father his to destruction of him.
Akaita zvakaipa pamberi paJehovha sezvakanga zvaitwa neveimba yaAhabhu nokuti baba vake pavakafa, ivo vakatanga kumupa mazano.
5 Also in counsel their he walked and he went with Jehoram [the] son of Ahab [the] king of Israel to war on Hazael [the] king of Aram at Ramoth Gilead and they wounded the Arameans Joram.
Akateverazve kurayira kwavo paakaenda naJoramu mwanakomana waAhabhu mambo weIsraeri kuhondo vachirwisana naHazaeri mambo weAramu paRamoti Gireadhi. VaAramu vakakuvadza Joramu.
6 And he returned to get himself healed in Jezreel for the wounds which they had wounded him at Ramah when fought he with Hazael [the] king of Aram and Azariah [the] son of Jehoram [the] king of Judah he went down to see Jehoram [the] son of Ahab in Jezreel for [was] being ill he.
Saka akadzokera kuJezireeri kuti ambondopora maronda aakanga akuvara paRamoti paairwa naHazaeri mambo weAramu. Ipapo Ahazia mwanakomana waJehoramu mambo weJudha akadzika kuJezireeri kundoona Joramu mwanakomana waAhabhu nokuti akanga akuvara.
7 And from God it was [the] downfall of Ahaziah by going to Joram and when went he he went out with Jehoram to Jehu [the] son of Nimshi whom he had anointed him Yahweh to cut off [the] house of Ahab.
Mukushanya kwaAhazia kuna Joramu, Mwari akauyisa kuparadzwa kwaAhazia. Ahazia paakasvika akaenda naJoramu kundosangana naJehu mwanakomana waNimishi, uyo akanga azodzwa naJehovha kuti aparadze imba yaAhabhu.
8 And it was when entered into judgment Jehu with [the] house of Ahab and he found [the] officials of Judah and [the] sons of [the] brothers of Ahaziah serving Ahaziah and he killed them.
Jehu paakanga ava kutonga imba yaAhabhu akawana machinda eJudha navanakomana vehama dzaAhazia, vakanga vachishandira Ahazia, akavauraya.
9 And he sought to find Ahaziah and people captured him and he [was] hiding himself in Samaria and they brought him to Jehu and they put to death him and they buried him for they said [was] [the] son of Jehoshaphat he who he sought Yahweh with all heart his and not for [the] house of Ahaziah to retain strength for kingship.

10 And Athaliah [the] mother of Ahaziah she saw that he was dead son her and she arose and she destroyed all [the] offspring of royalty of [the] house of Judah.
Ataria mai vaAhazia pavakaona kuti mwanakomana wavo afa, vakasimuka vakandoparadza mhuri yose youmambo hweimba yaJudha.
11 And she took Jehoshabeath [the] daughter of the king Joash [the] son of Ahaziah and she stole him from among [the] sons of the king who were being put to death and she put him and suckling-nurse his in [the] chamber of the beds and she hid him Jehoshabeath [the] daughter of the king Jehoram [the] wife of Jehoiada the priest for she she was [the] sister of Ahaziah from before Athaliah and not she killed him.
Asi Jehoshebha, mwanasikana waMambo Jehoramu akatora Joashi mwanakomana waAhazia uya akamuba kubva pakati pavanakomana vamambo avo vakanga vava kuda kuurayiwa uye akamuisa iye nomureri wake mumba mokuvata. Nokuti Jehoshebha, mwanasikana wamambo Jehoramu nomukadzi womuprista Jehoyadha, aiva hanzvadzi yaAhazia, akaviga mwana kubva kuna Ataria kuti asamuuraya.
12 And he was with them in [the] house of God hiding six years and Athaliah [was] reigning over the land.
Akaramba akavanzwa navo patemberi yaMwari kwamakore matanhatu Ataria paaitonga nyika.
