2 Chronicles 2
1 And he said Solomon to build a house for [the] name of Yahweh and a house for royalty his.
Und [1. Kön. 5] Salomo gedachte, dem Namen Jehovas ein Haus zu bauen und ein Haus für sein Königtum.
2 And he counted Solomon seventy thousand man burden-bearer[s] and eighty thousand man stone-cutter[s] in the hill country and overseers over them three thousand and six hundred.
Und Salomo zählte 70000 Lastträger ab, und 80000 Steinhauer im Gebirge, und 3600 Aufseher über dieselben.
3 And he sent Solomon to Huram [the] king of Tyre saying just as you dealt with David father my and you sent to him cedars to build for him a house to dwell in it.
Und Salomo sandte zu Huram, dem König von Tyrus, und ließ ihm sagen: So wie du meinem Vater David getan und ihm Cedern gesandt hast, daß er sich ein Haus baue, um darin zu wohnen, so tue auch mir.
4 Here! I [am] about to build a house for [the] name of - Yahweh God my to consecrate [it] to him to make smoke before him incense of perfume and [the] row of continuity and burnt offerings for the morning and for the evening for the sabbaths and for the new moons and for [the] appointed times of Yahweh God our for ever this [is] on Israel.
Siehe, ich will dem Namen Jehovas, meines Gottes, ein Haus bauen, um es ihm zu heiligen, wohlriechendes Räucherwerk vor ihm zu räuchern, und um das beständige Schichtbrot zuzurichten und Brandopfer morgens und abends zu opfern, an den Sabbathen und an den Neumonden und an den Festen [S. die Anm. zu 3. Mose 23,2; so auch Kap. 30,22;31,3] Jehovas, unseres Gottes; ewiglich liegt dies Israel ob.
5 And the house which I [am] about to build [will be] great for [is] great God our more than all the gods.
Und das Haus, das ich bauen will, soll groß sein; denn unser Gott ist größer als alle Götter.
6 And who? will he retain strength to build for him a house for the heavens and [the] heavens of the heavens not they will contain him and who? [am] I that I will build for him a house that except to make smoke before him.
Aber wer vermöchte ihm ein Haus zu bauen? denn die Himmel und der Himmel Himmel können ihn nicht fassen. Und wer bin ich, daß ich ihm ein Haus bauen sollte, es sei denn, um vor ihm zu räuchern?
7 And therefore send to me a man skillful to work in gold and in silver and in bronze and in iron and in purple and crimson and violet and [one who] knows to engrave engravings with the skillful [people] who [are] with me in Judah and in Jerusalem whom he appointed David father my.
Und nun sende mir einen Mann, der zu arbeiten versteht in Gold und in Silber, und in Erz und in Eisen, und in rotem Purpur und Karmesin und blauem Purpur, und kundig ist, Schnitzarbeit zu machen, nebst den Kunstverständigen, die bei mir in Juda und in Jerusalem sind, die mein Vater David bestellt hat.
8 And send to me wood of cedar fir and algum from Lebanon for I I know that servants your [are] knowing to cut [the] wood of Lebanon and there! servants my [will be] with servants your.
Und sende mir Cedern-, Cypressen- und Sandelholz vom Libanon; denn ich weiß, daß deine Knechte das Holz des Libanon zu hauen verstehen; und siehe, meine Knechte sollen mit deinen Knechten sein.
9 And to prepare for me wood to abundance for the house which I [am] about to build [will be] great and act wonderfully.
Und man möge mir Holz bereiten in Menge; denn das Haus, das ich bauen will, soll groß und außerordentlich sein.
10 And here! to the wood-cutters - to [the] cutters of - the wood I give wheat - wounds to servants your cors twenty thousand and barley cors twenty thousand and wine baths twenty thousand and oil baths twenty thousand.
Und siehe, ich werde deinen Knechten, den Holzhauern, die das Holz fällen, ausgeschlagenen Weizen [Wahrsch. ist nach 1. Kön. 5,11 zu lesen: Weizen zur Nahrung] geben, 20000 Kor, [ein Kor= 10 Epha, ungefähr zweieinhalb Hektoliter] und 20000 Kor Gerste, und 20000 Bath Wein, und 20000 Bath Öl.
11 And he said Huram [the] king of Tyre in a document and he sent to Solomon because loves Yahweh people his he has made you over them king.
Und Huram, der König von Tyrus, antwortete schriftlich und sandte an Salomo folgende Botschaft: Weil Jehova sein Volk liebt, hat er dich zum König über sie gesetzt.
12 And he said Huram [be] blessed Yahweh [the] God of Israel who he has made the heavens and the earth who he has given to David the king a son wise [who] knows insight and understanding who he will build a house for Yahweh and a house for royalty his.
Und Huram sprach: Gepriesen sei Jehova, der Gott Israels, der Himmel und Erde gemacht hat, daß er dem König David einen weisen Sohn gegeben, voll Einsicht und Verstand, der Jehova ein Haus bauen will und ein Haus für sein Königtum!
13 And now I send a man wise [who] knows understanding Huram Abi.
Und nun sende ich einen kunstverständigen, einsichtsvollen Mann, Huram-Abi, [S. 1. Kön. 7,13]
14 A son of a woman one of [the] daughters of Dan and father his [was] a man Tyrian [who] knows to work in gold and in silver in bronze in iron in stone and in wood in purple in violet and in fine linen and in crimson and to engrave every engraving and to design any design which it will be given to him with skilled [people] your and [the] skillful [people] of lord my David father your.
den Sohn eines Weibes von den Töchtern Dans, [Vergl. die Anm. zu 1. Kön. 7,14] und dessen Vater ein Tyrer war, der zu arbeiten weiß in Gold und Silber, in Erz, in Eisen, in Steinen und in Holz, in rotem Purpur, in blauem Purpur und in Byssus und in Karmesin, und allerlei Schnitzarbeit zu machen, und allerlei Kunstwerk zu ersinnen, das ihm aufgegeben wird, nebst deinen Kunstverständigen und den Kunstverständigen meines Herrn David, deines Vaters.
15 And therefore the wheat and the barley the oil and the wine which he has said lord my let him send to servants his.
Und nun, den Weizen und die Gerste, das Öl und den Wein, wovon mein Herr gesprochen hat, möge er seinen Knechten senden.
16 And we we will cut wood from Lebanon according to all need your and we will bring them to you rafts on [the] sea Joppa and you you will take up them Jerusalem.
Wir aber werden Holz hauen vom Libanon nach all deinem Bedarf, und werden es dir als Flöße auf dem Meere nach Japho [O. nach dem Meere von Japho [Joppe], wie Esra 3,7] bringen; und du magst es nach Jerusalem hinaufschaffen.
17 And he counted Solomon all the people the sojourners who [were] in [the] land of Israel after the census which he had counted them David father his and they were found one hundred and fifty thousand and three thousand and six hundred.
Und Salomo zählte alle Fremdlinge, die im Lande Israel waren, nach der Zählung, welche sein Vater David von ihnen gemacht hatte; und es fanden sich 153600.
18 And he appointed of them seventy thousand burden-bearer[s] and eighty thousand stone-cutter[s] in the hill country and three thousand and six hundred overseers to compel to labor the people.
Und er machte aus ihnen 70000 zu Lastträgern, und 80000 zu Steinhauern im Gebirge, und 3600 zu Aufsehern, um das Volk zur Arbeit anzuhalten.
