2 Chronicles 16
1 In year thirty and six of [the] reign of Asa he came up Baasha [the] king of Israel on Judah and he built Ramah to not [surely] permitting one going out or one coming in to Asa [the] king of Judah.
Léta třidcátého šestého kralování Azova vytáhl Báza král Izraelský proti Judovi, a stavěl Ráma, aby nedal vyjíti ani jíti k Azovi králi Judskému.
2 And he brought out Asa silver and gold from [the] treasuries of [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of the king and he sent [it] to Ben Hadad [the] king of Aram who dwelt in Damascus saying.
Tedy vzav Aza stříbro i zlato z pokladů domu Hospodinova i domu královského, poslal k Benadadovi králi Syrskému, kterýž bydlil v Damašku, řka:
3 A covenant [be] between me and between you and between father my and between father your here! I have sent to you silver and gold go break covenant your with Baasha [the] king of Israel so he may go up from on me.
Smlouva jest mezi mnou a mezi tebou, mezi otcem mým a mezi otcem tvým. Aj, posílámť teď stříbro a zlato, jdi, zruš smlouvu svou s Bázou králem Izraelským, ať odtrhne ode mne.
4 And he listened Ben Hadad to the king Asa and he sent [the] commanders of the armies which [belonged] to him against [the] cities of Israel and they struck down Ijon and Dan and Abel Maim and all [the] stores of [the] cities of Naphtali.
I uposlechl Benadad krále Azy, a poslal knížata s vojsky svými proti městům Izraelským. I dobyli Jon a Dan, též Abelmaim i všech měst Neftalímových, v nichž měli sklady.
5 And it was when heard Baasha and he ceased from building Ramah and he caused to cease work his.
To když uslyšel Báza, přestal stavěti Ráma, a zanechal díla svého.
6 And Asa the king he took all Judah and they carried off [the] stones of Ramah and wood its which he had built Baasha and he built with them Geba and Mizpah.
V tom Aza král pojal všecken lid Judský, a pobrali kamení z Ráma i dříví, z něhož stavěl Báza, a vystavěl z něho Gabaa a Masfa.
7 And at the time that he came Hanani the seer to Asa [the] king of Judah and he said to him because depending you on [the] king of Aram and not you depended on Yahweh God your there-fore it has escaped [the] army of [the] king of Aram from hand your.
V ten pak čas přišel Chanani prorok k Azovi králi Judskému, a řekl jemu: Že jsi zpolehl na krále Syrského, a nezpolehl jsi na Hospodina Boha svého, proto ušlo vojsko krále Syrského z ruky tvé.
8 ¿ Not the Cushites and the Libyans were they an army - for multitude chariotry and horsemen to abundance exceedingly and because depending you on Yahweh he gave them in hand your.
Zdaliž jsou Chussimští a Lubimští neměli vojsk velmi velikých, s vozy a jezdci náramně mnohými? A když jsi zpolehl na Hospodina, vydal je v ruku tvou.
9 For Yahweh eyes his [are] roving about in all the earth to show himself strong with [those who] heart their [is] complete to him you have acted foolishly on this for from now there with you [will be] wars.
Oči zajisté Hospodinovy spatřují všecku zemi, aby dokazoval síly své při těch, kteříž jsou k němu srdce upřímého. Bláznivě jsi učinil v té věci, protož od toho času budou proti tobě války.
10 And he was angry Asa against the seer and he put him [the] house of the stock[s] for in a rage with him on this and he crushed Asa some of the people at the time that.
Tedy rozhněvav se Aza na proroka, dal ho do vězení; nebo se byl rozhněval na něj pro tu věc. A utiskal Aza některé z lidu toho času.
11 And there! [the] matters of Asa former and latter there they [are] written on [the] scroll of the kings of Judah and Israel.
O jiných pak věcech Azových, prvních i posledních, zapsáno jest v knize o králích Judských a Izraelských.
12 And he became sick Asa in year thirty and nine of reign his in feet his [was] to upwards sickness his and also in sickness his not he sought Yahweh for the physicians.
Potom léta třidcátého devátého kralování svého nemocen byl Aza na nohy své těžkou nemocí, a však v nemoci své nehledal Boha, ale lékařů.
13 And he lay down Asa with ancestors his and he died in year forty and one of reigning his.
A tak usnul Aza s otci svými, a umřel léta čtyřidcátého prvního kralování svého.
14 And people buried him in own grave his which he had dug for himself in [the] city of David and they made lie him in the lying place which he had filled spices and kinds mixed as ointment of work and they burned for him a burning great up to muchness.
A pochovali jej v hrobě jeho, kterýž byl vytesal sobě v městě Davidově, a položili ho na lůžku, kteréž byl naplnil vonnými věcmi a mastmi dílem apatykářským připravenými. I pálili to jemu ohněm velmi velikým.
