2 Chronicles 15
1 And Azariah [the] son of Oded it was on him [the] spirit of God.
Tedy na Azaryjasza, syna Obedowego, przypadł Duch Boży.
2 And he went out before Asa and he said to him listen to me O Asa and all Judah and Benjamin Yahweh [is] with you when are you with him and if you will seek him he will let himself be found by you and if you will forsake him he will forsake you.
Który wyszedłszy przeciw Azie rzekł mu: Słuchajcie mię, Aza i wszystko pokolenie Judowe i Benjaminowe! Pan był z wami, pókiście byli z nim, a jeźli go szukać będziecie, znajdziecie go: ale jeźli go opuścicie, opuści was.
3 And days many [belonged] to Israel to not - [the] God of truth and to not a priest [who] teaches and to not [the] law.
Przez wiele dni był Izrael bez Boga prawdziwego, i bez kapłana, nauczyciela, i bez zakonu:
4 And it turned back when it was distress to it to Yahweh [the] God of Israel and they sought him and he let himself be found by them.
Wszakże gdyby się byli nawrócili w utrapieniu swem do Pana, Boga Izraelskiego, a szukali go, dałby się im był znaleść.
5 And in the times those not peace [belonged] to the [one who] went out and to the [one who] came in for disturbances great [were] on all [the] inhabitants of the lands.
Ale teraźniejszych czasów niebezpieczno wychodzić i wchodzić; bo zamięszanie wielkie między wszystkimi obywatelami ziemi.
6 And they were crushed nation by nation and city by city for God he troubled them with every trouble.
I depcze naród po narodzie, a miasto po mieście, przeto, że ich Bóg strwożył wszelakiem uciśnieniem.
7 And you be strong and may not they drop hands your for there [is] reward for work your.
Przetoż wy zmacniajcie się, a niech nie słabieją ręce wasze; bo czeka zapłata pracy waszej.
8 And just as heard Asa the words these and the prophecy of (Azariah [the] son of *X*) Oded the prophet he strengthened himself and he took away the detestable things from all [the] land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities which he had captured from [the] hill country of Ephraim and he renewed [the] altar of Yahweh which [was] before [the] porch of Yahweh.
A gdy usłyszał Aza te słowa, i proroctwo Obeda proroka, zmocnił się, i zniósł obrzydliwości ze wszystkiej ziemi Judzkiej i Benjamińskiej, i z miast, które był pobrał na górze Efraim, i odnowił ołtarz Pański, który był przed przysionkiem Pańskim.
9 And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin and those [who] sojourned with them from Ephraim and Manasseh and from Simeon for they had fallen on him from Israel to multitude when saw they that Yahweh God his [was] with him.
Potem zebrał wszystek lud z Judy i z Benjamina, i przychodniów, którzy u nich byli z Efraima, i z Manasesa i z Symeona; bo ich było bardzo wiele zbiegło z Izraela do niego, widząc, iż Pan, Bóg jego, z nim był.
10 And they gathered together Jerusalem in the month third of year fif-teen of [the] reign of Asa.
I zgromadzili się do Jeruzalemu miesiąca trzeciego, roku piętnastego królestwa Azy.
11 And they sacrificed to Yahweh on the day that some of the booty [which] they had brought ox[en] seven hundred and sheep seven thousand.
I sprawowali ofiary Panu dnia onego z łupów, które byli przygnali, wołów siedm set, a owiec siedm tysięcy.
12 And they went in the covenant to seek Yahweh [the] God of ancestors their with all heart their and with all being their.
I uczynili umowę, aby szukali Pana, Boga ojców swoich, ze wszystkiego serca swego, i ze wszystkiej duszy swojej.
13 And every [one] who not he will seek Yahweh [the] God of Israel he will be put to death from small and unto great from man and unto woman.
A ktobykolwiek nie szukał Pana, Boga Izraelskiego, aby był zabity, od najmniejszego aż do największego, od męża aż do niewiast.
14 And they swore an oath to Yahweh with a voice great and with a shout and with trumpets and with ram's horns.
I przysięgli Panu głosem wielkim, i z krzykiem, i z trąbami, i z kornetami.
15 And they rejoiced all Judah on the oath for with all heart their they had sworn and with all will their they had sought him and he let himself be found by them and he gave rest Yahweh to them from round about.
A weselił się wszystek lud Judzki z onej przysięgi: albowiem ze wszystkiego serca swego przysięgali, i ze wszystkiej ochoty szukali go, i dał się im znaleść, i dał im Pan odpocznienie zewsząd.
16 And also Maacah [the] mother of - Asa the king he removed her from queen-mother who she had made to an Asherah pole an abominable image and he cut down Asa abominable image her and he crushed [it] and he burned [it] in [the] wadi of Kidron.
Nadto i Maachę, matkę swą, król Aza z państwa złożył, przeto, że była uczyniła w gaju bałwana brzydkiego; i podciął Aza bałwana jej, i pokruszył go, a spalił u potoku Cedron.
17 And the high places not they were removed from Israel only [the] heart of Asa it was complete all days his.
A choć wyżyny nie były zniesione z Izraela, przecież serce Azy było doskonałe po wszystkie dni jego.
18 And he brought [the] holy things of father his and own holy things his [the] house of God silver and gold and utensils.
Wniósł też, co był poświęcił ojciec jego, i co sam poświęcił, do domu Bożego, srebro i złoto i naczynia.
19 And war not it was until year thirty and five of [the] reign of Asa.
A nie było wojny aż do roku trzydziestego i piątego królowania Azy.
