2 Chronicles 12
1 And it was when established [the] kingdom of Rehoboam and according to strengthening his he forsook [the] law of Yahweh and all Israel with him.
A gdy utwierdził królestwo swoje Roboam i zmocnił je, opuścił zakon Pański, i wszystek Izrael z nim.
2 And it was in the year fifth of the king Rehoboam he came up Shishak [the] king of Egypt on Jerusalem for they had acted unfaithfully against Yahweh.
I stało się roku piątego panowania Roboamowego, że wyciągnął Sesak, król Egipski, przeciw Jeruzalemowi (albowiem byli zgrzeszyli przeciw Panu.)
3 With one thousand and two hundred chariot[s] and with sixty thousand horsemen and not number [belonged] to the people which they came with him from Egypt Libyans Sukkites and Cushites.
Z tysiącem i dwoma stami wozów, i z sześćdziesiąt tysięcy jezdnych, a nie było liczby ludu, który przyciągnął z nim z Egiptu, Lubimczyków, Suchymczyków, i Chusymczyków.
4 And he captured [the] cities of fortifications which [belonged] to Judah and he came to Jerusalem.
I pobrał miasta obronne, które były w Judzie, i przyciągnął aż ku Jeruzalemowi.
5 And Shemaiah the prophet he came to Rehoboam and [the] leaders of Judah who they had gathered to Jerusalem because of Shishak and he said to them thus he says Yahweh you you have abandoned me and also I I have abandoned you in [the] hand of Shishak.
Tedy Semejasz prorok przyszedł do Roboama i do książąt Judzkich, którzy się byli zebrali do Jeruzalemu, uciekając przed Sesakiem, i rzekł do nich: Tak mówi Pan: Wyście mię opuścili, dla tegom i Ja was opuścił i podał w ręce Sesakowe.
6 And they humbled themselves [the] leaders of Israel and the king and they said [is] righteous - Yahweh.
I upokorzyli się książęta Izraelscy, i król, i mówili: Sprawiedliwy jest Pan.
7 And when saw Yahweh that they had humbled themselves it came [the] word of Yahweh to Shemaiah - saying they have humbled themselves not I will destroy them and I will give to them like a little deliverance and not it will pour forth rage my on Jerusalem by [the] hand of Shishak.
A gdy ujrzał Pan iż się upokorzyli, stało się słowo Pańskie do Semejasza, mówiąc: Upokorzyli się, nie wytracę ich; ale im dam wkrótce wybawienie, ani się wyleje zapalczywość moja przeciw Jeruzalemowi przez ręce Sesaka.
8 For they will become of him subjects so they may know service my and [the] service of [the] kingdoms of the lands.
Wszakże będą mu za sługi, aby wiedzieli, co to jest, służyć mnie, albo służyć królestwom ziemskim.
9 And he came up Shishak [the] king of Egypt on Jerusalem and he took [the] treasures of [the] house of Yahweh and [the] treasures of [the] house of the king everything he took and he took [the] shields of gold which he had made Solomon.
A tak ciągnął Sesak, król Egipski, przeciw Jeruzalemowi, i pobrał skarby domu Pańskiego, i skarby domu królewskiego, wszystko to pobrał; wziął też tarcze złote, które był sprawił Salomon.
10 And he made the king Rehoboam in place of them shields of bronze and he entrusted [them] on [the] hand of [the] commanders of the runners who guarded [the] entrance of [the] house of the king.
I sprawił król Roboam miasto nich tarcze miedziane, i poruczył je przełożonym nad piechotą, którzy strzegli drzwi domu królewskiego.
11 And it was as often as came the king [the] house of Yahweh they came the runners and they carried them and they returned them to [the] guardroom of the runners.
A gdy wchadzał król do domu Pańskiego, tedy przychodziła piechota, i brali je; potem zasię odnosili je do swoich komor.
12 And when he humbled himself it turned back from him [the] anger of Yahweh and not to destroy to complete destruction and also in Judah it was things good.
A tak iż się upokorzył, odwrócił się od niego gniew Pański, i nie wytracił go do końca; albowiem jeszcze i w Judzie było nieco dobrego.
13 And he strengthened himself the king Rehoboam in Jerusalem and he reigned for [was] a son of forty and one year[s] Rehoboam when became king he and seven-teen year[s] - he reigned in Jerusalem the city where he had chosen Yahweh to put name his there from all [the] tribes of Israel and [the] name of mother his [was] Naamah the Ammonite [woman].
Zmocnił się tedy król Roboam w Jeruzalemie i królował. A było czterdzieści lat i jeden rok Roboamowi, gdy królować począł, a siedmnaście lat królował w Jeruzalemie, w mieście, które obrał Pan ze wszystkich pokoleń Izraelskich, aby tam przebywało imię jego. A imię matki jego było Naama Ammonitka.
14 And he did evil for not he had directed heart his to seek Yahweh.
Ten czynił złe; bo nie przygotował serca swego, aby szukał Pana.
15 And [the] matters of Rehoboam former and latter ¿ not [are] they written in [the] words of Shemaiah the prophet and Iddo the seer for genealogical enrollment and [the] wars of Rehoboam and Jeroboam [were] all the days.
Ale sprawy Roboamowe pierwsze i poślednie zapisane są w księdze Semejasza proroka, i Jaddy widzącego; gdzie się opisuje porządek rodzajów, także wojny między Roboamem i Jeroboamem po wszystkie dni.
16 And he lay down Rehoboam with ancestors his and he was buried in [the] city of David and he became king Abijah son his in place of him.
I zasnął Roboam z ojcami swymi, i pochowan jest w mieście Dawidowem, a królował Abijasz, syn jego, miasto niego.
