2 Chronicles 10
1 And he went Rehoboam Shechem towards for Shechem they had come all Israel to make king him.
Und Rehabeam zog nach Sichem; denn ganz Israel war nach Sichem gekommen, ihn zum König zu machen.
2 And it was when heard Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat and he [was] in Egypt where he had fled from before Solomon the king and he returned Jeroboam from Egypt.
Als aber Jerobeam, der Sohn Nebats, der in Ägypten war, wohin er sich vor dem König Salomo geflüchtet hatte, solches vernahm, kehrte er aus Ägypten zurück.
3 And people sent and they summoned him and he came Jeroboam and all Israel and they spoke to Rehoboam saying.
Da sandten sie hin und ließen ihn rufen. Und Jerobeam kam mit ganz Israel, und sie redeten mit Rehabeam und sprachen:
4 Father your he made hard yoke our and therefore lighten some of [the] labor of father your hard and some of yoke his heavy which he put on us and we will serve you.
Dein Vater hat unser Joch zu hart gemacht; erleichtere nun du den harten Dienst deines Vaters und das schwere Joch, das er uns auferlegt hat, so wollen wir dir untertan sein!
5 And he said to them again three days and return to me and it went the people.
Er sprach zu ihnen: Kommt in drei Tagen wieder zu mir! Und das Volk ging hin.
6 And he consulted the king Rehoboam with the elders who they had been standing before Solomon father his when was he alive saying how? [are] you counseling to bring back to the people this word.
Da beriet sich der König Rehabeam mit den Ältesten, die vor seinem Vater Salomo zu dessen Lebzeiten gestanden hatten, und sprach: Wie ratet ihr, daß man diesem Volk antworten soll?
7 And they spoke to him saying if you will become good to the people this and you will be favorable to them and you will speak to them words kind and they will be of you servants all the days.
Sie sagten zu ihm und sprachen: Wirst du gegen dieses Volk freundlich und ihm gefällig sein und ihnen gute Worte geben, so werden sie dir allezeit dienen!
8 And he abandoned [the] counsel of the elders which they had counseled him and he consulted with the youths who they had grown up with him who stood before him.
Aber er verließ den Rat der Ältesten, den sie ihm gegeben hatten, und beriet sich mit den Jungen, die mit ihm aufgewachsen waren und vor ihm standen.
9 And he said to them what? [are] you counseling and we may bring back word the people this who they have spoken to me saying lighten some of the yoke which he put father your on us.
Und er sprach zu ihnen: Was ratet ihr, daß wir diesem Volk antworten, das zu mir gesagt hat: Erleichtere das Joch, das dein Vater uns auferlegt hat?
10 And they spoke with him the youths who they had grown up with him saying thus you will say to the people which they have spoken to you saying father your he made heavy yoke our and you lighten from on us thus you will say to them little finger my it is thick more than [the] loins of father my.
Da sprachen die Jungen, die mit ihm aufgewachsen waren: Dem Volk, das zu dir gesagt hat: «Dein Vater hat unser Joch zu schwer gemacht; mache du unser Joch leichter», dem antworte du: Mein kleiner Finger soll dicker sein, als meines Vaters Lenden!
11 And therefore father my he loaded on you a yoke heavy and I I will add to yoke your father my he disciplined you with whips and I with scorpions.
Hat euch mein Vater ein schweres Joch aufgeladen, so will ich euch noch mehr aufladen! Hat mein Vater euch mit Geißeln gezüchtigt, so will ich euch mit Skorpionen züchtigen!
12 And he came Jeroboam and all the people to Rehoboam on the day third just as he had spoken the king saying return to me on the day third.
Als nun am dritten Tage Jerobeam und alles Volk zu Rehabeam kamen, wie der König gesagt hatte: «Kommt wieder zu mir am dritten Tag»,
13 And he answered them the king hard and he abandoned the king Rehoboam [the] counsel of the elders.
da antwortete ihnen der König hart. Denn der König Rehabeam verließ den Rat der Ältesten
14 And he spoke to them according to [the] counsel of the young men saying I will make heavy yoke your and I I will add to it father my he disciplined you with whips and I with scorpions.
und redete mit ihnen nach dem Rat der Jungen und sprach: Hat mein Vater euer Joch schwer gemacht, so will ich es noch schwerer machen! Hat mein Vater euch mit Geißeln gezüchtigt, so will ich euch mit Skorpionen züchtigen!
15 And not he listened the king to the people for it was a turn from with God so as to establish Yahweh word his which he had spoken by [the] hand of Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat.
Also willfahrte der König dem Volke nicht; denn es ward also von Gott gefügt, damit der HERR sein Wort bekräftige, das er durch Achija von Silo zu Jerobeam, dem Sohn Nebats, geredet hatte.
16 And all Israel that not he had listened the king to them and they brought back the people the king - saying what? [belongs] to us portion in David and not an inheritance in [the] son of Jesse everyone to tents your O Israel now consider own house your O David and it went all Israel to tents its.
Als aber ganz Israel sah, daß der König ihnen nicht willfahrte, antwortete das Volk dem König und sprach: Was haben wir für Anteil an David? Wir haben nichts zu erben vom Sohne Isais! In seine eigene Hütte gehe, wer zu Israel gehört! Du, David, magst selbst zu deinem Hause sehen! Und ganz Israel ging in seine Hütten;
17 And [the] people of Israel who were dwelling in [the] cities of Judah and he reigned over them Rehoboam.
so daß Rehabeam nur über die Kinder Israel regierte, die in den Städten Judas wohnten.
18 And he sent the king Rehoboam Hadoram who [was] over the forced labor and they stoned him [the] people of Israel stone[s] and he died and the king Rehoboam he proved himself strong to go up in the chariot to flee Jerusalem.
Und als der König Rehabeam den Fronmeister Hadoram hinsandte, warfen ihn die Kinder Israel mit Steinen zu Tode. Der König Rehabeam aber sprang eilends auf seinen Wagen, um nach Jerusalem zu entfliehen.
19 And they have rebelled Israel against [the] house of David until the day this.
Also fiel Israel ab vom Hause Davids bis auf diesen Tag.
