1 Thessalonians 5
1 Concerning now the times and the seasons, brothers, no need you have to you to be written;
Adubu ichil inaosa, masising asi karamba matamda thokkadage haibadugi makum mathagi maramda nakhoida irubagi mathou tadre.
2 Yourselves for fully you know that (the *k*) day of [the] Lord as a thief by night in this manner comes;
Maramdi Ibungogi numit adu huranbana ahingda lakpagum lakkani haiba nakhoi nasamakna ningthina khang-i.
3 when (for *k*) they may say; Peace and security, then suddenly upon them comes destruction as the labor pains to her in womb [pregnancy] having, and certainly not shall they escape.
Misingna “Pumnamak ingthare amadi khudong thiningai leitre” haina hairingei matamda khanghoudana makhoigi mathakta amang-ata lakkani. Mironbi nupina chaboklamdaida naoyekpagum madu khanghoudana lakkani amasung misingna madudagi nanthokpa ngamloi.
4 You yourselves however, brothers, not are in darkness, that the day you like (a thief *NK(O)*) may grasp;
Adubu Ichil inaosa, nakhoidi amambada leite aduga numit aduna huranbagumna lakpada nakhoida angakpa pokhalloi.
5 All (for *no*) you yourselves sons of light are and sons of day; Not we are of night nor of darkness.
Nakhoi pumnamak mangalgi amadi nungthilgi machasingni. Eikhoidi ahinggisu amambagisu natte.
6 So then not we may sleep as (also *k*) the others but we may watch and we may be sober.
Maram aduna mi ateisinggumna eikhoi tumganusi; adubu mitsing nasingna amadi isabu laksinjaduna leisi.
7 Those for sleeping by night sleep and those becoming drunk by night get drunk;
Maramdi tumlibasing aduna ahingda tumbani, aduga yu ngaobasing aduna ahingda ngaobani.
8 We ourselves however of [the] day being may be sober having put on [the] breastplate of faith and love and [the] helmet [the] hope of salvation;
Adubu eikhoidi nungthilgi oiba maramna thajaba amasung nungsibana thabakhang oina haptuna amadi aran-khubhamgi asha aduna lan luhup oina uptuna isa khudum chanduna leisi.
9 because not has destined us God for wrath but for obtaining salvation through the Lord of us Jesus Christ
Maramdi eikhoibu Tengban Mapugi mei houna saoba adu khaangnanaba Tengban Mapuna khandokpa natte adubu eikhoigi Ibungo Jisu Christtagi mapanna aran-khubham phangjanaba eikhoibu khandokpibani.
10 the [One who] having died (for *NK(o)*) us, so that whether we shall watch or we shall sleep together with Him we may live.
Ibungo mahakna lakpa matamda eikhoina hingba oirabasu siba oirabasu eikhoina mahakka loinana leiminnanaba Ibungona eikhoigidamak sibire.
11 Therefore do encourage one another and do build up one another even as also you are doing.
Maram aduna nakhoina houjik touriba adugumna amaga amaga pukning thougatnou amasung amaga amaga tengbangnou.
12 We implore however you, brothers, to know those toiling among you and taking the lead over you in [the] Lord and admonishing you
Ichil inaosa, nakhoigi narakta thougal touriba, christian-gi punsida nakhoibu chingbiriba amadi paotak pibiribasing adubu nakhoina matik chana ikai khumnanaba eikhoina nakhoida haijari.
13 and to esteem them super overexcessively super overexcessively super overexcessively in love because of the work of them. do be at peace among (yourselves. *NK(O)*)
Makhoina touriba thabakki maramna makhoibu khwaidagi wangna ikai-khumnabiba amadi nungsibibaga loinana loinabiyu. Amasung nakhoi amaga amaga ingthana leiminnou.
14 We exhort now you, brothers, do admonish the unruly, do encourage the fainthearted, do help the weak, do be patient toward all.
Aduga ichil inaosa, eikhoina nakhoida insinjari, thabak suba tanbasingda cheksin wa haibiyu, akibasingbu thougatpiyu, asonbasingbu pangbiyu, mi pumnamakki maphamda kuina khaangbiyu.
15 do see that no one evil for evil to anyone may repay, but always the good do pursue also toward one another and toward all.
Kana amatana phattabagidamak phattaba hanganu, adubu matam pumnamakta amana amagidamak amasung mi pumnamakkidamak aphaba tounanaba hotnou.
16 Always do rejoice;
Matam pumnamakta haraojou,
17 Unceasingly do pray;
Leppa leitana haijou,
18 In everything do give thanks; this for [is the] will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.
Maram khudingmakta thagatchou, maramdi masimak Christta Jisuda hingliba nakhoigi punsida Tengban Mapugi aningbani.
19 The Spirit not do quench;
Thawai Asengbabu thingganu.
20 Prophecies not do despise;
Tengban Mapuna phongdokpiraba wasing adubu usittaba touganu.
21 All things (now *no*) do test; To the good do hold fast;
Pumnamaksing adubu changyeng tou, aphaba adu chetna paiyu,
22 From every form of evil do abstain.
Phattaba makhal pumnamaktagi lapthok-u.
23 Himself now the God of peace would sanctify you completely, and entirely your spirit and soul and body blameless at the coming of the Lord of us Jesus Christ would be preserved.
Eikhoida ingthaba pibiriba Tengban Mapuna nakhoibu hiram khudingmakta asengba oihanbisanu. Eikhoigi Ibungo Jisu Christtana lenglakpa matamda nakhoigi thawai, hingba, amasung hakchang apumba ayol aran leitana thambisanu.
24 [Is] faithful the [One] calling you, who also will do [it].
Nakhoibu koubiba Ibungo mahakna masi toubigani, maramdi mahakti thajaba yabani.
25 Brothers, do pray (also *no*) for us.
Ichil inaosa, eikhoigidamaktasu haijabiyu.
26 do greet the brothers all with a kiss holy.
Asengba chupchaba aduga loinana ichil inao pumnamakpu khurumjari.
27 (I adjure *N(k)O*) you [by] the Lord to be read [this] letter to all the (saints *K*) brothers.
Chithi asi ichil inao pumnamakta pabinaba eina Ibungogi matik adugi mapanna yathang piri.
28 The grace of the Lord of us Jesus Christ [be] with you. (Amen. *KO*) (to Thessalonica first It was written from Athens. *K*)
Eikhoigi Ibungo Jisu Christtagi thoujalna nakhoiga loinabisanu.
