1 Thessalonians 3
1 Therefore no longer enduring we thought it best to be left behind in Athens alone

2 and we sent Timothy the brother of us and (servant *KO*) (and *K*) fellow worker (of us *K*) of God in the gospel of Christ in order to strengthen you and to encourage (you *k*) (concerning *N(k)O*) the faith of you,
Gipaanha namo si Timoteo, among igsoon ug ministro sa Dios sa maayong balita ni Cristo aron lig-onon ug hupayon kamo mahitungod sa inyong pagtuo,
3 (*N(k)O*) no one [is] to be moved by tribulations these; Yourselves for you know that for this we are destined;
aron walay matandog niini nga mga paglutos, kay kamo mismo nakahibalo nga gitawag kita alang niini.
4 And indeed when with you we were, we were telling beforehand you that we are about to suffer affliction even as also it came to pass and you know;
Sa pagkatinuod, sa diha pa kami uban kaninyo, gisulti na namo daan kaninyo nga mag-antos sa paglutos kita, ug nahitabo na kini sama sa inyong nahibaw-an.
5 Because of this I myself also I myself also no longer enduring I sent in order to know the faith of you, lest perhaps tempted you the [one] tempting and in vain may be the labor of us.
Tungod niini nga hinungdan, kadtong wala na gyud ko makaagwanta, nagpaanha ako aron makahibalo ko kung unsa nay kahimtang sa inyong pagtuo, kay tingali gisulayan kamo sa manunulay ug mawalay pulos ang among gihaguan.
6 Presently however when was coming Timothy to us from you and having evangelised to us of the faith and the love of you and that you have a remembrance of us good always longing us to see just as also we ourselves you,
Kadtong nakabalik na si Timoteo kanamo gikan sa inyoa ug nagdala siya ug maayong balita mahitungod sa inyong pagtuo ug gugma, nga kanunay maayo ang paghinumdom ninyo sa amoa, ug nangandoy kamo nga makigkita kanamo sama sad nga nangandoy pud kami nga makigkita kaninyo-
7 because of this we were encouraged, brothers, as to you in all the distress and tribulation of us through your faith;
tungod niini, mga igsoon, napahupay kami kaninyo pinaagi sa inyong pagtuo taliwala sa tanan namong kagul-anan ug pag-antos.
8 For now we live, if you yourselves (are standing firm *N(k)O*) in [the] Lord.
Mao nga karon buhi kami, kung kamo magbarog nga malig-onon sa Ginoo.
9 What for thanksgiving are we able to God to give concerning you in return for all the joy that we rejoice because of you before the God of us,
Kay unsa pa may pasalamat nga among ikahatag sa Dios mahitungod kaninyo, sa tanang kalipay nga anaa kanamo?
10 by night and day super overexcessively super overexcessively super overexcessively imploring for [us] to see your face and to supply the [things] lacking in the faith of you?
Gabii ug adlaw munamuna namong pag-ampo aron makita kamo namo ug mahatag kaninyo kung unsa pa ang kulang sa inyong pagtuo.
11 Himself now the God and Father of us and the Lord of us Jesus (Christ *K*) would direct the way of us to you;
Hinaot nga ang atong Dios ug Amahan mismo, ug ang atong Ginoong Jesus, ang magtultol kanamo padulong kaninyo,
12 You now the Lord would make to increase and He would abound in love toward one another and toward all just as also we ourselves toward you
ug hinaot ang Ginoo magdugang ug magpa-abunda sa inyong paghinigugmaay sa usa'g usa ug sa tanang tawo sama usab sa among gibuhat kaninyo.
13 in order to strengthen your hearts blameless in holiness before the God and Father of us at the coming of the Lord of us Jesus (Christ *K*) with all the saints of Him (Amen. *N*)
Hinaot nga buhaton niya kini aron lig-onon ang inyong kasingkasing nga walay maikasulti ang uban sa inyong pagkabalaan diha sa atong Dios ug Amahan, inigbalik sa atong Ginoong Jesus kauban sa tanan niyang mga balaan.
