1 Samuel 6
1 And it was [the] ark of Yahweh in [the] region of [the] Philistines seven months.
Setelah tujuh bulan lamanya tabut TUHAN itu ada di daerah orang Filistin,
2 And they summoned [the] Philistines the priests and the diviners saying what? will we do to [the] ark of Yahweh make known to us how? will we send it to own place its.
maka orang Filistin itu memanggil para imam dan para petenung, lalu berkata kepada mereka: "Apakah yang harus kami lakukan dengan tabut TUHAN itu? Beritahukanlah kepada kami, bagaimana kami harus mengantarkannya kembali ke tempatnya."
3 And they said if [you are] about to send away [the] ark of [the] God of Israel may not you send away it empty for certainly you will send back to him a guilt offering then you will be healed and it will be known by you why? not does it turn aside hand his from you.
Lalu kata mereka: "Apabila kamu mengantarkan tabut Allah Israel itu, maka janganlah kamu mengantarkannya dengan tangan hampa, melainkan haruslah kamu membayar tebusan salah kepada-Nya; maka kamu akan menjadi sembuh dan kamu akan mengetahui, mengapa tangan-Nya tidak undur dari padamu."
4 And they said what? [is] the guilt offering which we will send back to him and they said [the] number of [the] rulers of [the] Philistines five (tumors of *Q(K)*) gold and five mice of gold for a plague one [belongs] to all of them and to rulers your.
Sesudah itu bertanyalah mereka: "Apakah tebusan salah yang harus kami bayar kepada-Nya?" Jawab mereka: "Menurut jumlah raja-raja kota orang Filistin, lima borok emas dan lima tikus emas, sebab tulah yang sama menimpa kamu sekalian dan raja-raja kotamu.
5 And you will make images of (tumors your *Q(K)*) and images of mice your which are ruining the land and you will give to [the] God of Israel honor perhaps he will lighten hand his from with you and from on gods your and from on land your.
Jadi buatlah gambar borok-borokmu dan gambar tikus yang merusak tanahmu, dan sampaikanlah hormatmu kepada Allah Israel. Mungkin Ia akan mengangkat dari padamu, dari pada allahmu dan dari pada tanahmu tangan-Nya yang menekan dengan berat.
6 And why? will you harden heart your just as they hardened Egypt and Pharaoh heart their ¿ not just when he dealt wantonly with them and they sent away them and they went.
Mengapa kamu berkeras hati, sama seperti orang Mesir dan Firaun berkeras hati? Bukankah mereka membiarkan bangsa itu pergi, ketika Ia mempermain-mainkan mereka?
7 And therefore take and make a cart new one and two cows nursing which not it has gone up on them a yoke and you will harness the cows on the cart and you will take back young ones their from after them the house towards.
Oleh sebab itu ambillah dan siapkanlah sebuah kereta baru dengan dua ekor lembu yang menyusui, yang belum pernah kena kuk, pasanglah kedua lembu itu pada kereta, tetapi bawalah anak-anaknya kembali ke rumah, supaya jangan mengikutinya lagi.
8 And you will take [the] ark of Yahweh and you will put it into the cart and - [the] articles of gold which you have sent back to him a guilt offering you will put in the box from side its and you will send away it and it will go.
Kemudian ambillah tabut TUHAN, muatkanlah itu ke atas kereta dan letakkanlah benda-benda emas, yang harus kamu bayar kepada-Nya sebagai tebusan salah, ke dalam suatu peti di sisinya. Dan biarkanlah tabut itu pergi.
9 And you will see if [the] way of own territory its it will go up Beth Shemesh he he has done to us the harm great this and if not and we will know that not hand his it touched us chance it it happened to us.
Perhatikanlah: apabila tabut itu mengambil jalan ke daerahnya, ke Bet-Semes, maka Dialah itu yang telah mendatangkan malapetaka yang hebat ini kepada kita. Dan jika tidak, maka kita mengetahui, bahwa bukanlah tangan-Nya yang telah menimpa kita; kebetulan saja hal itu terjadi kepada kita."
10 And they did the men thus and they took two cows nursing and they harnessed them on the cart and young ones their they shut up in the house.
Demikianlah diperbuat orang-orang itu. Mereka mengambil dua ekor lembu yang menyusui, dipasangnya pada kereta, tetapi anak-anaknya ditahan di rumah.
11 And they put [the] ark of Yahweh into the cart and the box and [the] mice of gold and [the] images of tumors their.
Mereka meletakkan tabut TUHAN ke atas kereta, juga peti berisi tikus-tikus emas dan gambar benjol-benjol mereka.
12 And they were straight the cows in the road on [the] road of Beth Shemesh on a highway one they went continuously and lowed and not they turned aside right [hand] and left [hand] and [the] rulers of [the] Philistines [were] going after them to [the] border of Beth Shemesh.
Lembu-lembu itu langsung mengikuti jalan yang ke Bet-Semes; melalui satu jalan raya, sambil menguak dengan tidak menyimpang ke kanan atau ke kiri, sedang raja-raja kota orang Filistin itu berjalan di belakangnya sampai ke daerah Bet-Semes.
13 And Beth Shemesh [were] harvesting [the] harvest of wheat in the valley and they lifted up eyes their and they saw the ark and they rejoiced to see [it].
Orang-orang Bet-Semes sedang menuai gandum di lembah. Ketika mereka mengangkat muka, maka tampaklah kepada mereka tabut itu, lalu bersukacitalah mereka melihatnya.
14 And the cart it came to [the] field of Joshua [the] Beth Shemeshite and it stopped there and [was] there a stone large and they split [the] wood of the cart and the cows they offered up a burnt offering to Yahweh.
Kereta itu sampai ke ladang Yosua, orang Bet-Semes itu, dan berhenti di sana. Di sana ada batu besar. Mereka membelah kayu kereta itu dan mereka mempersembahkan lembu-lembu sebagai korban bakaran kepada TUHAN.
15 And the Levites they brought down - [the] ark of Yahweh and the box which [was] with it which [were] in it [the] articles of gold and they put [them] to the stone large and [the] people of Beth Shemesh they offered up burnt offerings and they sacrificed sacrifices on the day that to Yahweh.
Orang-orang suku Lewi menurunkan tabut TUHAN dengan peti yang ada di sebelahnya, yang di dalamnya ada benda-benda emas itu, lalu menaruhnya di atas batu besar itu, dan pada hari itu orang-orang Bet-Semes mempersembahkan korban bakaran dan korban sembelihan kepada TUHAN.
16 And five [the] rulers of [the] Philistines they saw and they went back Ekron on the day that.
Ketika kelima raja kota orang Filistin melihat hal itu, pulanglah mereka ke Ekron pada hari itu juga.
17 And these [are] [the] tumors of gold which they sent back [the] Philistines a guilt offering to Yahweh for Ashdod one for Gaza one for Ashkelon one for Gath one for Ekron one.
Inilah benjol-benjol emas yang dibayar orang Filistin kepada TUHAN sebagai tebusan salah: dari Asdod satu, dari Gaza satu, dari Askelon satu, dari Gat satu, dari Ekron satu;
18 And [the] mice of gold [the] number of all [the] cities of [the] Philistines of [the] five the rulers from a city of fortification and unto village[s] of the hamlet-dweller[s] and to - Abel the great which they set down on it [the] ark of Yahweh until the day this in [the] field of Joshua [the] Beth Shemeshite.
lagi tikus-tikus emas menurut jumlah segala kota orang Filistin kepunyaan kelima raja kota itu, baik kota-kota yang berkubu maupun dusun-dusun sekitarnya; dan batu besar, yang di atasnya diletakkan mereka tabut TUHAN, di ladang Yosua, orang Bet-Semes itu, adalah saksi sampai hari ini.
19 And he struck down among [the] people of Beth Shemesh for they had looked in [the] ark of Yahweh and he struck down among the people seventy man fifty thousand man and they mourned the people for he had struck Yahweh the people a blow (great *LB(ah)*)
Dan Ia membunuh beberapa orang Bet-Semes, karena mereka melihat ke dalam tabut TUHAN; Ia membunuh tujuh puluh orang dari rakyat itu. Rakyat itu berkabung, karena TUHAN telah menghajar mereka dengan dahsyatnya.
20 and they said [the] people of Beth Shemesh who? is he able to stand before Yahweh the God holy this and to whom? will it go up from with us.
Dan orang-orang Bet-Semes berkata: "Siapakah yang tahan berdiri di hadapan TUHAN, Allah yang kudus ini? Kepada siapakah Ia akan berangkat meninggalkan kita?"
21 And they sent messengers to [the] inhabitants of Kiriath Jearim saying they have brought back [the] Philistines [the] ark of Yahweh come down take up it to you.
Lalu mereka mengirim utusan kepada penduduk Kiryat-Yearim dengan pesan: "Orang Filistin telah mengembalikan tabut TUHAN; datanglah dan angkutlah itu kepadamu."
