1 Samuel 5

1 And [the] Philistines they took [the] ark of God and they brought it from Eben-ezer Ashdod towards.

Ita, inagaw dagiti Filisteo ti lakasa ti tulag ti Dios, ket manipud Ebenezer, impanda daytoy idiay Asdod.

2 And they took [the] Philistines [the] ark of God and they brought it [the] house of Dagon and they placed it beside Dagon.

Innala dagiti Filisteo ti lakasa ti tulag ti Dios, impanda iti balay ni Dagon, ket inyabayda daytoy iti estatua ni Dagon.

3 And they rose early [the] Ashdodites from [the] next day and there! Dagon [was] fallen to face its [the] ground towards before [the] ark of Yahweh and they took Dagon and they returned it to place its.

Iti kabigatanna a nasapa a bimmangon dagiti tattao iti Asdod, nakitada a natumba a nakapakleb ti estatua ni Dagon iti sangoanan ti lakasa ti tulag ni Yahweh. Isu nga innalada ti estatua ni Dagon ket insublida manen iti sigud nga ayanna.

4 And they rose early in the morning from [the] next day and there! Dagon [was] fallen to face its [the] ground towards before [the] ark of Yahweh and [the] head of Dagon and [the] two - [the] palms of hands its were cut off to the threshold only Dagon it remained on it.

Ngem idi nasapada a bimmangon iti kabigatanna, nakitada manen a natumba a nakapakleb ti estatua ni Dagon iti sangoanan ti lakasa ti tulag ni Yahweh. Naisina ti ulona ken dagiti imana ken naiwara dagitoy iti pagserkan. Ti laeng bagi ti estatua ni Dagon ti saan a naan-anu.

5 There-fore not they tread [the] priests of Dagon and all those [who] go [the] house of Dagon on [the] threshold of Dagon in Ashdod until the day this.

Daytoy ti gapuna nga uray kadagitoy nga aldaw, ket saan a bumaddek iti pagserkan ti balayna idiay Asdod dagiti papadi ni Dagon ken siasinoman a mapan iti balayna.

6 And it was heavy [the] hand of Yahweh against the Ashdodites and he devastated them and he struck them (with tumors *Q(K)*) Ashdod and territories its.

Nadagsen ti ima ni Yahweh kadagiti tattao ti Asdod. Dinadael ken pinarigatna ida babaen kadagiti letteg, ti Asdod ken dagiti masakupanna.

7 And they saw [the] people of Ashdod that so and they said not it will remain [the] ark of [the] God of Israel with us for it is hard hand his on us and on Dagon God our.

Idi maamiris dagiti tattao ti Asdod ti mapaspasamak, kinunada, “Rumbeng a saan nga agtalinaed kadatayo ti lakasa ti tulag ti Dios ti Israel, gapu ta napalalo ti panangdusdusana kadatayo ken ni Dagon a diostayo.”

8 And they sent and they gathered all [the] rulers of [the] Philistines to them and they said what? will we do to [the] ark of [the] God of Israel and they said Gath let it go round [the] ark of [the] God of Israel and they brought round [the] ark of [the] God of Israel.

Isu nga impaayab ken inummongda amin dagiti mangidadaulo kadagiti Filisteo; kinunada kadakuada, “Ania ti rumbeng nga aramidentayo iti lakasa ti tulag ti Dios ti Israel?” Insungbatda, “Ipanyo ti lakasa ti tulag ti Dios ti Israel idiay Gat.” Ket impanda sadiay ti lakasa ti tulag ti Dios ti Israel.

9 And it was after - they had brought round it and it was [the] hand of Yahweh - on the city panic great exceedingly and he struck [the] men of the city from young and unto [the] old and they broke out to them (tumors. *Q(K)*)

Ngem kalpasan a naipanda daytoy, dinusa ni Yahweh ti siudad, a nangparnuay iti napalalo unay a pannakariribuk. Pinarigatna dagiti tattao iti siudad, dagiti ubbing ken nataengan; ket naglettegda.

10 And they sent [the] ark of God Ekron and it was when went [the] ark of God Ekron and they cried out the Ekronites saying they have brought round to me [the] ark of [the] God of Israel to kill me and people my.

11 And they sent and they gathered all [the] rulers of [the] Philistines and they said send away [the] ark of [the] God of Israel so may it return to own place its and not it will kill me and people my for it was panic of death in all the city it was heavy exceedingly [the] hand of God there.

12 And the men who not they died they were struck (with the tumors *Q(K)*) and it went up [the] cry for help of the city the heavens.

Dagiti tattao a saan a natay ket naparigat babaen kadagiti letteg, ket dimmanon kadagiti langlangit ti asug ti siudad.
