1 Samuel 31
1 And [the] Philistines [were] fighting against Israel and they fled [the] men of Israel from before [the] Philistines and they fell slain on [the] mountain of Gilboa.
| و فلسطینیان با اسرائیل جنگ کردند ومردان اسرائیل از حضور فلسطینیان فرار کردند، و در کوه جلبوع کشته شده، افتادند. | ۱ |
2 And they pursued closely [the] Philistines Saul and sons his and they struck down [the] Philistines Jonathan and Abinadab and Malki-Shua [the] sons of Saul.
| و فلسطینیان، شاول و پسرانش را به سختی تعاقب نمودند، و فلسطینیان یوناتان و ابیناداب وملکیشوع پسران شاول را کشتند. | ۲ |
3 And it was heavy the battle against Saul and they found him the archers men with the bow and he was in severe pain exceedingly from the archers.
| و جنگ برشاول سخت شد، و تیراندازان دور او را گرفتند وبه‌سبب تیراندازان به غایت دلتنگ گردید. | ۳ |
4 And he said Saul to [the] bearer of armor his draw out sword your - and pierce through me with it lest they should come the uncircumcised [men] these and they will pierce through me and they will deal wantonly with me and not he was willing [the] bearer of armor his for he was afraid exceedingly and he took Saul the sword and he fell on it.
| و شاول به سلاحدار خود گفت: «شمشیرخود را کشیده، آن را به من فرو بر مبادا این نامختونان آمده، مرا مجروح سازند و مرا افتضاح نمایند.» اما سلاحدارش نخواست زیرا که بسیاردر ترس بود. پس شاول شمشیر خود را گرفته، برآن افتاد. | ۴ |
5 And he saw [the] bearer of armor his that he had died Saul and he fell also he on sword his and he died with him.
| و هنگامی که سلاحدارش شاول را دید که مرده است، او نیز بر شمشیر خود افتاده، با اوبمرد. | ۵ |
6 And he died Saul and [the] three sons his and [the] bearer of armor his also all men his on the day that together.
| پس شاول و سه پسرش و سلاحدارش وجمیع کسانش نیز در آن روز با هم مردند. | ۶ |
7 And they saw [the] men of Israel who [were] on [the] other side of the valley and who - [were] on [the] other side of the Jordan that they had fled [the] men of Israel and that they had died Saul and sons his and they abandoned the cities and they fled and they came [the] Philistines and they dwelt in them.
| وچون مردان اسرائیل که به آن طرف دره و به آن طرف اردن بودند، دیدند که مردان اسرائیل فرارکرده‌اند و شاول و پسرانش مرده‌اند، شهرهای خود را ترک کرده، گریختند و فلسطینیان آمده، در آنها ساکن شدند. | ۷ |
8 And it was from [the] next day and they came [the] Philistines to strip the [ones] slain and they found Saul and [the] three sons his fallen on [the] mountain of Gilboa.
| و در فردای آن روز، چون فلسطینیان برای برهنه کردن کشتگان آمدند، شاول و سه پسرش رایافتند که در کوه جلبوع افتاده بودند. | ۸ |
9 And they cut off head his and they stripped off armor his and they sent in [the] land of [the] Philistines all around to bear [the] news [the] house of idols their and the people.
| پس سر اورا بریدند و اسلحه‌اش را بیرون کرده، به زمین فلسطینیان، به هر طرف فرستادند تا به بتخانه های خود و به قوم مژده برسانند. | ۹ |
10 And they put armor his [the] house of Ashtaroth and corpse his they fixed on [the] wall of Beth Shan.
| و اسلحه او را درخانه عشتاروت نهادند و جسدش را بر حصاربیتشان آویختند. | ۱۰ |
11 And they heard concerning him [the] inhabitants of Jabesh Gilead [that] which they had done [the] Philistines to Saul.
| و چون ساکنان یابیش جلعاد، آنچه را که فلسطینیان به شاول کرده بودندشنیدند، | ۱۱ |
12 And they arose every man of strength and they went all the night and they took [the] corpse of Saul and [the] corpses of sons his from [the] wall of Beth Shan and they went Jabesh towards and they burned them there.
| جمیع مردان شجاع برخاسته، و تمامی شب سفر کرده، جسد شاول و اجسادپسرانش را از حصار بیتشان گرفتند، و به یابیش برگشته، آنها را در آنجا سوزانیدند. | ۱۲ |
13 And they took bones their and they buried [them] under the tamarisk tree at Jabesh and they fasted seven days.
| واستخوانهای ایشان را گرفته، آنها را زیر درخت بلوطی که در یابیش است، دفن کردند و هفت روزروزه گرفتند. | ۱۳ |
