1 Samuel 3
1 And the lad Samuel [was] serving Yahweh before Eli and [the] word of Yahweh it was rare in the days those not vision [was] spread out.
Otrok Samuel pa je pred Élijem služil Gospodu. V tistih dneh je bila Gospodova beseda dragocena; ni bilo odprtega videnja.
2 And it was on the day that and Eli [was] lying in place his (and eyes his *Q(K)*) they began dim not he was able to see.
Pripetilo se je ob tistem času, ko se je Éli ulegel na svojem mestu in so njegove oči začenjale temneti, da ni mogel videti.
3 And [the] lamp of God not yet it was extinguished and Samuel [was] lying in [the] temple of Yahweh where [was] there [the] ark of God.
Preden se je ugasnila Božja svetilka v Gospodovem templju, kjer je bila Božja skrinja in se je Samuel ulegel k spanju,
4 And he called Yahweh to Samuel and he said here [am] I.
je Gospod poklical Samuela in ta je odgovoril: »Tukaj sem.«
5 And he ran to Eli and he said here [am] I for you summoned me and he said not I summoned return lie down and he went and he lay down.
Stekel je k Éliju in rekel: »Tukaj sem, kajti klical si me.« Ta pa je rekel: »Nisem klical, ponovno se ulezi.« In odšel je in se ulegel.
6 And he repeated Yahweh to call again Samuel and he rose Samuel and he went to Eli and he said here [am] I for you summoned me and he said not I summoned O son my return lie down.
Gospod je ponovno poklical: »Samuel.« Samuel je vstal in odšel k Éliju ter rekel: »Tukaj sem, kajti klical si me.« Ta je odgovoril: »Nisem klical, moj sin, ponovno se ulezi.«
7 And Samuel not yet he knew Yahweh and not yet it was revealed to him [the] word of Yahweh.
Torej Samuel še ni poznal Gospoda niti mu Gospodova beseda še ni bila razodeta.
8 And he repeated Yahweh to call Samuel at the third [time] and he rose and he went to Eli and he said here [am] I for you summoned me and he understood Eli that Yahweh [was] summoning the lad.
Gospod je ponovno, tretjič, poklical Samuela. Ta je vstal, šel k Éliju in rekel: »Tukaj sem, kajti klical si me.« In Éli je zaznal, da je otroka klical Gospod.
9 And he said Eli to Samuel go lie down and it will be that [if] he will call to you and you will say speak O Yahweh for [is] listening servant your and he went Samuel and he lay down in place his.
Zato je Éli rekel Samuelu: »Pojdi, ulezi se in zgodilo se bo, če te pokliče, da boš rekel: ›Govori, Gospod, kajti tvoj služabnik posluša.‹« Tako je Samuel odšel in se ulegel na svojem mestu.
10 And he came Yahweh and he stood and he called as time on time O Samuel - O Samuel and he said Samuel speak for [is] listening servant your.
Gospod je prišel in obstal ter poklical kakor ob drugih časih: »Samuel, Samuel.« Potem je Samuel odgovoril: »Govori; kajti tvoj služabnik posluša.«
11 And he said Yahweh to Samuel here! I [am] about to do a thing in Israel which every [one who] hears it they will tingle [the] two ears his.
Gospod je rekel Samuelu: »Glej, storil bom stvar v Izraelu, ob kateri bo v obeh ušesih vsakega, ki to sliši, zvenelo.
12 On the day that I will carry out against Eli all that I have spoken against house his beginning and ending.
Na tisti dan bom zoper Élija izpolnil vse stvari, ki sem jih govoril glede njegove hiše. Ko pričnem, bom naredil tudi konec.
13 And I tell to him that [am] about to judge I house his until perpetuity for [the] iniquity which he knew that [were] bringing a curse to themselves sons his and not he rebuked them.
Kajti povedal sem mu, da bom na veke sodil njegovo hišo zaradi krivičnosti, ki jo on vé, ker sta se njegova sinova naredila nizkotna, on pa jima ni preprečil.
14 And therefore I swear to [the] house of Eli if it will be atoned for [the] iniquity of [the] house of Eli by sacrifice and by an offering until perpetuity.
Zato sem prisegel Élijevi hiši, da krivičnost Élijeve hiše na veke ne bo očiščena niti s klavno daritvijo niti z darovanjem.«
15 And he lay Samuel until the morning and he opened [the] doors of [the] house of Yahweh and Samuel he was afraid from telling the vision to Eli.
Samuel je ležal do jutra in odprl vrata Gospodove hiše. Samuel pa se je Éliju bal razodeti videnje.
16 And he called Eli Samuel and he said O Samuel son my and he said here [am] I.
Potem je Éli poklical Samuela in rekel: »Samuel, moj sin.« Ta je odgovoril: »Tukaj sem.«
17 And he said what? [was] the word which he spoke to you may not please you hide [it] from me thus may he do to you God and thus may he add if you will hide from me a word from all the word which he spoke to you.
Rekel je: »Kaj je stvar, ki ti jo je Gospod povedal? Prosim te, da mi je ne prikriješ. Bog naj ti tako stori in tudi več, če pred menoj skriješ katerokoli stvar od vseh stvari, ki ti jih je povedal.«
18 And he told to him Samuel all the words and not he hid [them] from him and he said [is] Yahweh he the good (in eyes his *Q(K)*) let him do.
Samuel mu je povedal vsak delček in ničesar ni skril pred njim. On pa je rekel: »To je Gospod. Naj stori, kar se mu zdi dobro.«
19 And he grew up Samuel and Yahweh he was with him and not he made fall any of all words his [the] ground towards.
Samuel je rasel in Gospod je bil z njim in nobene izmed njegovih besed ni pustil pasti na tla.
20 And it knew all Israel from Dan and to Beer Sheba that [was being] established Samuel to a prophet of Yahweh.
Ves Izrael, od Dana, celo do Beeršébe, je vedel, da je bil Samuel utrjen, da bi bil Gospodov prerok.
21 And he repeated Yahweh to appear at Shiloh for he revealed himself Yahweh to Samuel at Shiloh by [the] word of Yahweh.
Gospod se je ponovno prikazoval v Šilu, kajti Gospod se je v Šilu razodeval Samuelu po Gospodovi besedi.
