1 Samuel 29

1 And they gathered [the] Philistines all armies their Aphek towards and Israel [were] encamped at the spring which [is] in Jezreel.

Mutta Philistealaiset kokosivat kaiken sotajoukkonsa Aphekiin; ja Israel sioitti itsensä Ainiin Jisreelissä.

2 And [the] rulers of [the] Philistines [were] passing along to hundreds and to thousands and David and men his [were] passing along at the last with Achish.

Ja Philistealaisten päämiehet menivät sadoittain ja tuhansittain; mutta David meni jälistä miehinensä, liki Akista.

3 And they said [the] commanders of [the] Philistines what? [are] the Hebrews these and he said Achish to [the] commanders of [the] Philistines ¿ not [is] this David [the] servant of - Saul [the] king of Israel who he has been with me this days or this years and not I have found in him anything from [the] day fell he until the day this.

Niin sanoivat Philistealaisten päämiehet: mitä nämät Hebrealaiset tahtovat? Akis sanoi Philistealaisten päämiehille: eikö tämä ole David Saulin Israelin kuninkaan palvelia, joka on ollut monta päivää eli vuoden minun tykönäni ja en minä ole löytänyt mitäkään hänen kanssansa siitä ajasta, kuin hän pakeni minun tyköni, tähän päivään asti.

4 And they were angry towards him [the] commanders of [the] Philistines and they said to him [the] commanders of [the] Philistines send back the man so may he return to place his where you assigned him there and not he will go down with us in the battle and not he will become of us an adversary in the battle and how? will he make himself acceptable this one to master his ¿ not by [the] heads of the men those.

Niin Philistealaisten päämiehet vihastuivat hänen päällensä ja sanoivat hänelle: anna sen miehen palata ja mennä jälleen siallensa, kuhunkas hänen asettanut olet, ettei hän tulisi meidän kanssamme sotaan ja olisi meidän vihamiehemme sodassa; sillä millä taitais hän paremmin herrallensa mielinouteen tehdä, kuin näiden miesten päillä?

5 ¿ Not [is] this David whom people sing of him in dances saying he has struck down Saul thousands his and David (ten thousands his. *Q(K)*)

Eikö tämä ole David? josta he veisasivat hypyssä, sanoen: Saul löi tuhannen, mutta David kymmenentuhatta.

6 And he summoned Achish David and he said to him [by] [the] life of Yahweh for [are] upright you and [is] good in view my going out you and coming in you with me in the camp for not I have found in you evil from [the] day coming in you to me until the day this and in [the] eyes of the rulers not [are] good you.

Niin kutsui Akis Davidin ja sanoi hänelle: niin totta kuin Herra elää, minä pidän sinun oikiana ja hyvänä, ja sinun ulos ja sisälle käymises minun kanssani sotaleiriin kelpaa minulle, sillä en ole minä löytänyt yhtään pahuutta sinusta siitä ajasta, kuin sinä tulit minun tyköni, niin tähän päivään asti; mutta et sinä kelpaa päämiehille.

7 And therefore turn back and go in peace and not you will do evil in [the] eyes of [the] rulers of [the] Philistines.

Niin palaja nyt takaperin ja mene rauhaan, ettes pahaa tekisi Philistealaisten päämiesten silmäin edessä.

8 And he said David to Achish for what? have I done and what? have you found in servant your from [the] day when I was before you until the day this that not I will go and I will fight against [the] enemies of lord my the king.

David sanoi Akikselle: mitä minä olen tehnyt? ja mitäs olet löytänyt palvelialtas siitä ajasta, kuin minä olen ollut sinun tykönäs, niin tähän päivään asti, etten minä saa tulla ja sotia kuninkaan minun herrani vihamiehiä vastaan?

9 And he answered Achish and he said to David I know that [are] good you in view my like an angel of God nevertheless [the] commanders of [the] Philistines they have said not he will go up with us in battle.

Akis vastasi ja sanoi Davidille: minä tiedän sinun otolliseksi minun silmäini edessä, niinkuin Jumalan enkelin, mutta Philistealaisten päämiehet ovat sanoneet: älä anna hänen tulla meidän kanssamme sotaan.

10 And therefore rise early in the morning and [the] servants of master your who they have come with you and you will rise early in the morning and it will be light for you and go.

Niin nouse siis varhain aamulla, ja sinun herras palveliat, jotka sinun kanssas tulleet ovat: ja kuin te olette aamulla varhain nousseet ja päivä teille valkenee, niin menkäät teidän tietänne.

11 And he rose early David he and men his to go in the morning to return to [the] land of [the] Philistines and [the] Philistines they went up Jezreel.

Niin David oli miehinensä aamulla varhain ylhäällä, matkustamaan ja tulemaan Philistealaisten maalle jälleen; mutta Philistealaiset menivät Jisreeliin päin.
