< 1 Samuel 28 >

1 And it was in the days those and they gathered together [the] Philistines armies their for war to fight against Israel and he said Achish to David certainly you will know that with me you will go out in the camp you and men your.

2 And he said David to Achish therefore you you will know [that] which he will do servant your and he said Achish to David therefore a watchman of head my I will make you all the days.
Te dongah David loh Akhish te, “Na sal kah a saii te namah loh rhep na ming bitni,” a ti nah. Te vaengah Akhish loh David te, “Hnin takuem kai lu aka ngaithuen rhep ham tah namah ni kang khueh eh?,” a ti nah.
3 And Samuel he had died and they had mourned for him all Israel and they had buried him in Ramah in own city his and Saul he had removed the necromancers and the soothsayers from the land.
Tahae ah Samuel duek tih anih ham te Israel pum loh a rhaengsae uh. Te phoeiah anih te amah kho Ramah ah a up uh. Te vaengah khohmuen lamkah rhaitonghma neh hnam te Saul loh a khoe.
4 And they gathered together [the] Philistines and they came and they encamped at Shunem and he gathered Saul all Israel and they encamped at Gilboa.
Philisti rhoek te coi uh thae tih aka cet uh te Shunem ah rhaeh uh. Te vaengah Saul loh Israel pum te a coi tih Gilboa ah rhaeh uh.
5 And he saw Saul [the] camp of [the] Philistines and he was afraid and it trembled heart his exceedingly.
Saul loh Philisti caem a hmuh vaengah a rhih tih a lungbuei mat lakueng.
6 And he enquired Saul by Yahweh and not he answered him Yahweh neither by dreams nor by Urim nor by prophets.
Te vaengah BOEIPA te Saul loh a dawt dae BOEIPA loh anih te mang nen khaw, Urim nen khaw, tonghma nen khaw doo voel pawh.
7 And he said Saul to servants his seek for me a woman [the] owner of necromancy so let me go to her so I may consult her and they said servants his to him there! a woman of an owner of necromancy [is] in En-dor.
Te vaengah Saul loh a sal rhoek te, “Hnam nu rhaitonghma te kai ham tlap uh lah, anih taengla ka cet vetih amah te ka cae lah eh,” a ti nah. Te dongah a sal rhoek loh, “Endor ah hnam nu rhaitonghma om ta ke,” a ti nauh.
8 And he disguised himself Saul and he was clothed garments other and he went he and two men with him and they came to the woman night and he said (divine *Q(k)*) please for me by necromancy and bring up for me [the one] whom I will say to you.
Te dongah Saul te sa uh tih himbai a tloe a bai. Te phoeiah amah taengkah hlang rhoi te a caeh puei tih khoyin ah huta taengla pawk. Te vaengah, “Rhaitonghma neh kai hamla ham bi ham bi lamtah nang taengah ka thui te kai taengla hang khuen lah,” a ti nah.
9 And she said the woman to him here! you you know [that] which he has done Saul that he has cut off the necromancers and the soothsayer from the land and why? [are] you setting traps on life my to cause to die me.
Tedae amah te huta loh, “Saul loh a saii te na ming coeng, rhaitonghma neh hnam te khohmuen lamloh a saii. Balae tih kai duek sak ham ka hinglu he na hlaeh?” a ti nah.
10 And he swore to her Saul by Yahweh saying [by] [the] life of Yahweh if it will happen to you punishment in the matter this.
Tedae anih te Saul loh BOEIPA ming neh a toemngam tih, “BOEIPA kah hingnah dongah tahae kah olka lamkah thaesainah he nang taengah thoeng boel saeh,” a ti nah.
11 And she said the woman whom? will I bring up for you and he said Samuel bring up for me.
Huta loh, “Nang taengla ulae kang khueneh?” a ti nah hatah, “Kai hamla Samuel te hang khuen,” a ti nah.
12 And she saw the woman Samuel and she cried out with a voice great and she said the woman to Saul saying why? have you deceived me and you [are] Saul.
Huta loh Samuel te a hmuh hatah a ol a len la pang. Te phoeiah huta loh Saul te a voek tih, “Balae tih kai nan phok? Nang he Saul ni,” a ti nah.
13 And he said to her the king may not you fear for what? have you seen and she said the woman to Saul gods I have seen coming up from the earth.
Te vaengah anih te manghai loh, “Na hmuh te rhih boeh,” a ti nah. Te dongah Huta loh Saul te, “Diklai lamkah rhai ha yoeng te ka hmuh,” a ti nah.
14 And he said to her what? [is] appearance his and she said a man old [is] coming up and he [is] wrapped a robe and he knew Saul that [was] Samuel it and he bowed low face [the] ground towards and he bowed down.
Te phoeiah, “A suisak ta?” a ti nah. Te vaengah, “Hlang pakhat patong halo tih hnikul neh thing uh,” a ti nah. Anih te Samuel tila Saul loh a ming dongah a thintoek neh diklai la buluk tih a bawk.
15 And he said Samuel to Saul why? have you disturbed me by bringing up me and he said Saul it is distress to me exceedingly and [the] Philistines - [are] fighting against me and God he has turned aside from with me and not he has answered me yet neither by [the] hand of prophets nor by dreams and I have summoned! you to make known to me what? will I do.
Samuel loh Saul te, “Balae tih kai doek hamla kai nan tlai thil?” a ti nah. Saul loh, “Kai he mat n'daengdaeh tih Philisti loh kai m'vathoh thil. Pathen he kai taeng lamloh nong coeng. Tonghma kut nen khaw, mueimang ah khaw kai he n'doo moenih. Te dongah ka saii koi te ming hamla nang kang khue,” a ti nah.
16 And he said Samuel and why? do you ask me and Yahweh he has turned aside from with you and he has become enemy your.
Samuel loh, “Balae tih kai nan dawt? Tedae BOEIPA te nang taeng lamloh nong tih na rhal la om coeng.
17 And he has done Yahweh to him just as he spoke by hand my and he has torn Yahweh the kingdom from hand your and he has given it to neighbor your to David.
Ka kut dongkah a thui bangla BOEIPA loh amah ham a saii coeng. Te dongah BOEIPA loh na kut dongkah ram te a phen tih na hui David taengah a paek coeng.
18 Since not you listened to [the] voice of Yahweh and not you executed [the] burning of anger his on Amalek there-fore the thing this he has done to you Yahweh the day this.
BOEIPA ol te na ngai pawt tih a thintoek thinsa bangla Amalek te na saii pawh. Te dongah hekah hno he BOEIPA loh tihnin ah nang taengah a saii.
19 So he may give Yahweh also Israel with you in [the] hand of [the] Philistines and tomorrow you and sons your [will be] with me also [the] camp of Israel he will give Yahweh in [the] hand of [the] Philistines.
Israel khaw namah neh BOEIPA loh Philisti kut ah n'tloeng ni. Thangvuen ah namah neh kai taengkah na ca rhoek khaw, Israel caem khaw BOEIPA loh Philisti kut ah a paek ni,” a ti nah.
20 And he made haste Saul and he fell [the] fullness of stature his [the] ground towards and he was afraid exceedingly from [the] words of Samuel also strength not it was in him for not he had eaten food all the day and all the night.
Te dongah Saul te a yungkhawt la diklai dongah kung pahoi yalh. Samuel ol te bahoeng a rhih tih khoyin khothaih caak a caak pawt dongah a thadueng khaw om pawh.
21 And she came the woman to Saul and she saw that he was terrified exceedingly and she said to him here! she has listened maidservant your to voice your and I have put life my in palm my and I have listened to words your which you have spoken to me.
Te vaengah Saul taengla huta loh a paan hatah mat a let te a hmuh tih, “Na salnu long he nang ol te ni a ngai ne. Te dongah ka kut dongkah ka hinglu ka pom tih kai taengah na thui te na ol bangla ka saii.
22 And now listen please also you to [the] voice of maidservant your so let me set before you a piece of bread and eat so may it be in you strength for you will go on the way.
Na salnu kah ol te namah long khaw hnatun mai laeh. Na hmai ah buh kamat khaw kan tawn saeh lamtah ca mai dae. Te daengah ni na thadueng om vetih longpuei ah na caeh thai eh,” a ti nah.
23 And he refused and he said not I will eat and they urged him servants his and also the woman and he listened to voice their and he arose from the ground and he sat to the bed.
Tedae a aal tih, “Ka ca mahpawh,” a ti nah. A taengkah a sal rhoek neh huta long khaw a na uh dongah amih ol te a hnatun. Te daengah diklai lamkah thoo tih baiphaih dongla ngol.
24 And [belonged] to the woman a calf of [the] stall in the house and she made haste and she slaughtered it and she took flour and she kneaded [it] and she baked it unleavened bread.
Te phoeiah huta loh im kah vaitoca a toitup te koe a ngawn, vaidam te khaw a loh tih a nook phoeiah vaidamding la a kaeng.
25 And she brought [them] near before Saul and before servants his and they ate and they arose and they went on the night that.
Te phoeiah Saul hmai neh a sal rhoek hmai ah a tawn pah tih a caak uh. Te phoeiah thoo tih amah tekah khoyin ah pahoi cet uh.
