1 Samuel 27
1 And he said David to heart his now I will be swept away a day one by [the] hand of Saul not [belongs] to me good for really I will escape - to [the] land of [the] Philistines and he will desist from me Saul to seek me again in all [the] territory of Israel and I will be delivered from hand his.
David dijo en su corazón: “Ahora pereceré un día por la mano de Saúl. No hay nada mejor para mí que escapar a la tierra de los filisteos; y Saúl se desesperará por buscarme más en todos los límites de Israel. Así escaparé de su mano”.
2 And he arose David and he passed over he and six hundred man who [were] with him to Achish [the] son of Maoch [the] king of Gath.
David se levantó y pasó, él y los seiscientos hombres que estaban con él, a Aquis hijo de Maoc, rey de Gat.
3 And he dwelt David with Achish in Gath he and men his each one and household his David and [the] two wives his Ahinoam the Jezreelite [woman] and Abigail [the] wife of Nabal the Carmelite [woman].
David vivía con Aquis en Gat, él y sus hombres, cada uno con su casa, incluso David con sus dos esposas, Ahinoam la jezreelita y Abigail la carmelita, esposa de Nabal.
4 And it was told to Saul that he had fled David Gath and not (he repeated *Q(K)*) again to seek him.
Cuando Saúl supo que David había huido a Gat, dejó de buscarlo.
5 And he said David to Achish if please I have found favor in view your let people give to me a place in one of [the] cities of the field so I may dwell there and why? will he dwell servant your in [the] city of royalty with you.
David dijo a Aquis: “Si ahora he hallado gracia ante tus ojos, que me den un lugar en una de las ciudades del país, para que habite allí. Porque, ¿por qué habría de habitar tu siervo en la ciudad real contigo?”.
6 And he gave to him Achish on the day that Ziklag therefore it has belonged Ziklag to [the] kings of Judah until the day this.
Entonces Aquis le dio aquel día Siclag; por eso Siclag pertenece a los reyes de Judá hasta el día de hoy.
7 And it was [the] number of the days which he dwelt David in [the] region of [the] Philistines days and four months.
El número de días que David vivió en el país de los filisteos fue un año completo y cuatro meses.
8 And he went up David and men his and they made raids against the Geshurite[s] (and the Gizrite[s] *Q(K)*) and the Amalekite[s] for they [were] dwelling the land which [is] from antiquity coming you Shur towards and to [the] land of Egypt.
David y sus hombres subieron y asaltaron a los guesuritas, a los girzitas y a los amalecitas, pues esos eran los habitantes de la tierra de antaño, en el camino hacia Shur, hasta la tierra de Egipto.
9 And he struck David the land and not he let live a man and a woman and he took sheep and cattle and donkeys and camels and clothes and he returned and he went to Achish.
David atacó la tierra y no salvó a ningún hombre ni a ninguna mujer con vida, y se llevó las ovejas, el ganado, los asnos, los camellos y la ropa. Luego regresó y llegó a Aquis.
10 And he said Achish against [where] did you make a raid this day and he said David on [the] Negev of Judah and on [the] Negev of the Jerahmeelite[s] and against [the] Negev of the Kenite[s].
Aquis dijo: “¿Contra quién has hecho hoy una incursión?” David dijo: “Contra el sur de Judá, contra el sur de los jeraelitas y contra el sur de los ceneos”.
11 And a man and a woman not he let live David to bring Gath saying lest they should tell on us saying thus he has done David and [is] thus practice his all the days which he has dwelt in [the] region of [the] Philistines.
David no salvó a ningún hombre ni a ninguna mujer con vida para llevarlos a Gat, diciendo: “No sea que cuenten de nosotros, diciendo: “David hizo esto, y este ha sido su camino todo el tiempo que ha vivido en el país de los filisteos.””
12 And he trusted Achish in David saying certainly he has become odious among people his among Israel and he will become of me a servant of perpetuity.
Aquis creyó a David, diciendo: “Ha hecho que su pueblo Israel lo aborrezca por completo. Por eso será mi siervo para siempre”.
