< 1 Samuel 26 >

1 And they went the Ziphites to Saul Gibeah towards saying ¿ not [is] David hiding himself on [the] hill of Hakilah on [the] face of Jeshimon.
Ziphim rhoek loh Gibeah kah Saul te a paan uh tih, “Khopong hmai kah Hakhilah som ah aka thuh uh ke David pawt nim?” a ti uh.
2 And he arose Saul and he went down to [the] wilderness of Ziph and [were] with him three thousand man [the] chosen [men] of Israel to seek David in [the] wilderness of Ziph.
Te dongah Saul te thoo tih Ziph khosoek ah David tlap ham te Israel kah a coelh hlang thawng thum neh Ziph khosoek la suntla.
3 And he encamped Saul on [the] hill of Hakilah which [was] on [the] face of Jeshimon on the way and David [was] dwelling in the wilderness and he saw that he had come Saul after him the wilderness towards.
Khopong imdan, Hakhilah som kah longpuei taengah Saul te rhaeh. David tah khosoek ah kho a sak tih Saul loh khosoek la a hnuk a vai te a hmuh.
4 And he sent David spies and he knew that he had come Saul to a certain [thing].
David loh longyam a tueih daengah Saul he rhep ha pawk tila a ming.
5 And he arose David and he went to the place where he had encamped there Saul and he saw David the place where he lay there Saul and Abner [the] son of Ner [the] commander of army his and Saul [was] lying in the camp and the people [was] encamped (around him. *Q(K)*)
Te dongah David te thoo tih Saul a rhaeh nah hmuen te a pha. Te vaengah Saul neh anih kah caempuei mangpa Ner capa Abner a yalh nah hmuen te David loh a hmuh. Saul te namtlak ah yalh tih a kaep, a kaep ah pilnam loh a rhaeh thil.
6 And he answered David and he said - to Ahimelech the Hittite and to Abishai [the] son of Zeruiah [the] brother of Joab saying who? will he go down with me to Saul into the camp and he said Abishai I I will go down with you.
Te dongah David loh a doo tih Khitti Ahimelek neh Joab mana Zeruiah capa Abishai te a dawt. Te dongah, “Rhaehhmuen kah Saul taengla kamah neh ulae aka suntla eh?” a ti nah hatah Abishai loh, “Kai loh nang kan suntlak puei bitni,” a ti nah.
7 And he went David and Abishai - to the people night and there! Saul [was] lying sleeping in the camp and spear his [was] thrust in the ground ([the] place of head his *Q(K)*) and Abner and the people [were] lying (around him. *Q(K)*)
Te dongah David neh Abishai loh pilnam te khoyin ah a paan. Te vaengah Saul tah namtlak ah muelh yalh tih a caai te a lu, a lu ah diklai la tlaeh. A kaep, a kaep ah Abner neh pilnam te yalh.
8 And he said Abishai to David he has delivered up God this day enemy your in hand your and therefore let me strike him please with the spear and in the ground a time one and not I will repeat to him.
Te vaengah Abishai loh David te, “Tihnin ah tah na thunkha he Pathen loh na kut dongah han tloeng coeng. Te dongah anih caai neh diklai ah voei at la ka ngawn eh?, anih te ka rhaep mah pawh,” a ti nah.
9 And he said David to Abishai may not you destroy him for who? has he stretched out hand his on [the] [one] anointed of Yahweh and will he be free from guilt?
Tedae David loh Abishai te, “Anih te phae boeh, BOEIPA kah a koelh soah ulae a kut aka hlah vetih a hmil uh eh?” a ti nah.
10 And he said David [by] [the] life of Yahweh that except Yahweh he will strike him or day his it will come and he will die or in battle he will go down and he will be carried away.
Te phoeiah David loh, “BOEIPA kah hingnah bangla, BOEIPA loh a toel tue ha thoeng vetih duek bitni. Caemtloek la a suntlak vaengah khoengvoep uh bitni.
11 Far be it to me from Yahweh from stretching out hand my on [the] [one] anointed of Yahweh and now take please the spear which ([is the] place of head his *Q(K)*) and [the] jug of water and let us go for ourselves.
BOEIPA rhang saeh, BOEIPA kah a koelh te ka kut hlah thil he kai nen tah savisava saeh. Tedae a lu, a lu kah caai neh tui um mah lo mai pawn sih lamtah mamih loh caeh tak sih,” a ti nah.
12 And he took David the spear and [the] jug of water [at the] head of Saul and they went for themselves and there not [was one who] saw and there not [was one who] knew and there not [was one who] awoke for all of them [were] sleeping for deep sleep of Yahweh it had fallen on them.
Te dongah Saul lu kah tui um neh caai te David loh a loh pah. Muelh ih ham te BOEIPA loh amih boeih soah a pha sak dongah haenghang uh pawh. Te dongah amih a caeh tak khaw hmu uh pawt tih ming uh pawh.
13 And he passed over David the other side and he stood on [the] top of the hill from a distance great place [was] between them.
Te phoeiah David te rhalvangan la khat tih a laklo kah muep a hla nah hmuen kah tlang som ah pai.
14 And he called out David to the people and to Abner [the] son of Ner saying ¿ not will you answer O Abner and he answered Abner and he said who? [are] you [who] you have called out to the king.
Te phoeiah David loh pilnam neh Ner capa Abner te a khue tih, “Abner, na doo mahpawt a?” a ti nah. Te dongah Abner loh a doo tih, “Namah loh ulae manghai la na khue,” a ti nah.
15 And he said David to Abner ¿ not a man [are] you and who? [is] like you in Israel and why? not did you guard master your the king if he came one of the people to destroy the king master your.
David loh Abner te, “Na hlang pawt nim? Israel khuiah nang bang he unim? Balae tih na boei manghai te na ngaithuen pawh? Na boei rhoek kah manghai te thup hamla pilnam pakhat ha pawk coeng.
16 Not [is] good the thing this which you have done [by] [the] life of Yahweh for [are] sons of death you who not you watched over master your over [the] [one] anointed of Yahweh and now - see where? [is] [the] spear of the king and [the] jug of water which ([was the] place of head his. *Q(K)*)
Hno na saii te a then moenih. BOEIPA kah hingnah dongah, BOEIPA loh na boei rhoek soah a koelh thil te na ngaithuen pawt dongah na duek ca ngawn sui dae. Tahae ah so lah a lu kah manghai caai neh tui um ta melae,” a ti nah.
17 And he recognized Saul [the] voice of David and he said ¿ voice your [is] this O son my David and he said David voice my O lord my the king.
Te vaengah David ol te Saul loh a hmat tih, “Ka ca David nang ol a he?' a ti nah. Te dongah David loh,” Kai ol ni ue, ka boei manghai aw,” a ti nah.
18 And he said why? this [is] lord my pursuing after servant his for what? have I done and what? [is] in hand my evil.
Te phoeiah, “Ka boeipa long he balae tih a sal hnuk a hloem? Balae ka saii tih, ka kut dongkah he mebang boethae nim?
19 And now let him hear please lord my the king [the] words of servant his if Yahweh he has incited you against me may he smell an offering and if - [the] sons of humankind [be] cursed they before Yahweh for they have driven out me this day from having a share in [the] inheritance of Yahweh saying go serve gods other.
Ka boei manghai long khaw a sal ol he ya van laem saeh. BOEIPA loh kai soah nang m'vueh atah khocang he him saeh. Tedae hlang ca rhoek atah BOEIPA mikhmuh ah amih thaephoei thil saeh. BOEIPA rho dongah thawth ham khohnin vaengah kai n'haek tih, “Pathen tloe taengah tho aka thueng te cet laeh,” a ti.
20 And now may not it fall blood my [the] ground towards from before [the] presence of Yahweh for he has come out [the] king of Israel to seek a flea one just as someone pursues the partridge in the mountains.
Israel manghai loh tlang ah varhung aka hloem bangla uihli pakhat tlap ham ha pawk cakhaw BOEIPA mikhmuh mikhmuh lamloh ka thii he lai la tlak sak boel saeh,” a ti nah.
21 And he said Saul I have sinned return O son my David for not I will do harm to you again because that it was precious life my in view your the day this here! I have behaved foolishly and I have gone astray greatly very.
Saul loh, “Ka ca David ha mael laeh ka tholh oeh coeng. Nang taengah thae koep ka huet voel mahpawh. Ka hinglu he na mikhmuh ah a phutlo dae, tihnin ah ka pavai tih ka palang tangkik aih coeng he,” a ti nah.
22 And he answered David and he said here! ([the] spear of *Q(K)*) the king and let him pass over one from the young men and let him take it.
Te dongah David loh a doo tih, “Hekah caai he, manghai kah caai ni, tahae ah camoe pakhat loh ham paan saeh lamtah han lo saeh.
23 And Yahweh he will return to everyone righteousness his and faithfulness his that he gave you Yahweh - this day in a hand and not I was willing to stretch out hand my on [the] [one] anointed of Yahweh.
A duengnah neh a uepomnah te BOEIPA loh hlang taengah thuung nawn saeh. Tihnin ah BOEIPA loh kakut ah nangn'tloeng coeng dae BOEIPA kah a koelh soah ka kut hlah ham ka huem moenih.
24 And here! just as it was great life your the day this in view my so may it be great life my in [the] eyes of Yahweh and may he deliver me from every trouble.
Tihnin ah na hinglu he ka mikhmuh ah a pantai vanbangla ka hinglu he BOEIPA mikhmuh ah pantai van saeh. Citcai boeih khui lamkah kai he n'huul nawn saeh,” a ti nah.
25 And he said Saul to David [be] blessed you O son my David both certainly you will do as well as certainly you will prevail and he went David to way his and Saul he returned to place his.
Te daengah David te Saul loh, “Ka ca David nang tah, na yoethen pai, na saii la na saii coeng atah na noeng rhoela na noeng van,” a ti nah. Te phoeiah David loh amah longpuei ah cet tih Saul khaw amah hmuen la mael.
