1 Samuel 24
1 And it was just when he returned Saul from after [the] Philistines and people told to him saying there! David [is] in [the] wilderness of En Gedi.

2 And he took Saul three thousand man chosen from all Israel and he went to seek David and men his on [the] face of [the] rocks of the mountain goats.
Te dongah Saul loh Israel boeih khui lamkah hlang coelh thawng thum te a khuen tih sathai lungpang dan kah David neh a hlang rhoek te tlap ham cet.
3 And he came to [the] folds of the sheep on the way and [was] there a cave and he went Saul to cover feet his and David and men his in [the] innermost parts of the cave [were] sitting.
Saul loh boiva kah tanglung longpuei kaep te a paan. Te vaengah lungko tapkhoeh a om dongah a kho khuk hamla Saul loh a kun thil. Te vaengah David neh a hlang rhoek tah lungko kah a hlaep ah om uh.
4 And they said [the] men of David to him here! the day which he said Yahweh to you here! I [am] about to give (enemy your *Q(K)*) in hand your and you will do to him just as it will be good in view your and he arose David and he cut off [the] skirt of the robe which [belonged] to Saul in secrecy.
Te vaengah David kah hlang rhoek loh, “BOEIPA loh nang taengah, 'Tihnin ah Na thunkha, na thunkha te na kut dongla kai loh kam paek coeng he,’ a ti he. Te dongah na mik neh then na ti bangla anih te saii laeh,” a ti nauh. Te dongah David te thoo tih Saul kah hnikul hmoi te a muel la a hlueng pah.
5 And it was after thus and it struck [the] heart of David him on that he had cut off [the] skirt which [belonged] to Saul.
Saul kah hni hmoi a hlueng pah dongah David khaw a lungbuei loh a ngawn van.
6 And he said to men his far be it to me from Yahweh if I will do the thing this to lord my to [the] [one] anointed of Yahweh by stretching out hand my on him for [is] [the] [one] anointed of Yahweh he.
Te dongah a hlang rhoek taengah, “Anih he BOEIPA kah a koelh la om tih BOEIPA kah a koelh ka boei taengah ka kut thueng thil ham hno he ka saii aya? Te bang te BOEIPA taengah kai lamkah tah savisava,” a ti nah.
7 And he reprimanded David men his by the words and not he permitted them to rise up against Saul and Saul he arose from the cave and he went on the way.
Tedae a hlang rhoek te David loh ol neh a daeh tih amih loh Saul a tlai uh thil ham khaw ngaih puei pawh. Saul ngawn tah lungko lamloh thoo tih longpuei te a paan.
8 And he arose David after thus and he went out (from from the cave *Q(K)*) and he called out after Saul saying O lord my the king and he looked Saul behind him and he bowed low David face [the] ground towards and he bowed down.
Te phoeiah David khaw thoo van tih lungko, longko ah cet. Saul te a hnuk longah a khue tih, “Ka boeipa manghai aw,” a ti nah. Te dongah Saul loh a hnuk la a paelki. Te vaengah David loh a tal neh diklai la buluk tih a bawk.
9 And he said David to Saul why? do you listen to [the] words of someone saying there! David [is] seeking harm your.
David loh Saul te, “Hlang loh, 'David loh nang kah a thae ni a tlap ke,’ a ti ol te ba ham lae na hnatun.
10 Here! the day this they have seen eyes your this: he gave you Yahweh - this day - in hand my in the cave and someone said to kill you and it looked with compassion on you and I said not I will stretch out hand my on lord my for [is] [the] [one] anointed of Yahweh he.
Ti hnin ah na mik loh a hmuh coeng he. Ti hnin ah lungko khuiah ni nang he BOEIPA loh ka kut dongla m'paek coeng tih nang te ngawn ham pataeng a thui coeng. Tedae nang te kang rhen dongah, 'Ka boeipa he ka kut ka hlah thil boel eh. Anih tah BOEIPA kah a koelh ni, ' ka ti.
11 And O father my see also see [the] skirt of robe your in hand my for when cut off I [the] skirt of robe your and not I killed you know and see that there not in hand my [is] evil and transgression and not I have sinned to you and you [are] lying in wait for life my to take it.
A pa so lah he, ka kut dongkah na hnikul hmoi he so. Na hnikul hmoi ka ah dae nang kang ngawn pawt te ming. Ka kut dongah boethae neh boekoek a om pawt te khaw hmuh. Nang soah ka tholh pawt dae nang longtah ka hinglu loh ham na rhaem.
12 May he judge Yahweh between me and between you and he will avenge me Yahweh from you and hand my not it will be on you.
Kai laklo neh nang laklo ah BOEIPA loh laitloek nawn saeh. Nang lamkah kah khaw BOEIPA loh kai taengah phulo nawn saeh. Tedae ka kut loh nang n'cuuk thil boel saeh.
13 Just as it says [the] proverb of the ancient[s] from wicked [people] it comes forth wickedness and hand my not it will be on you.
Yan kah loh a thui vanbangla halang lamloh halangnah ni a thoeng. Te dongah ka kut loh nang n'cuuk thil boel saeh.
14 After whom? has he come out [the] king of Israel after whom? [are] you pursuing after a dog dead after a flea one.
Israel manghai loh ulae a thoeng thil? U hnuk lae na hloem? Ui duek hnuk neh uihli hnuk a?
15 And he will become Yahweh a judge and he will judge between me and between you and may he see and may he conduct case my and may he vindicate me from hand your.
Te dongah BOEIPA he laitloekkung la om saeh lamtah kai laklo neh nang laklo ah laitloek nawn saeh. Ka tuituknah khaw hmu saeh lamtah ho saeh. Nang kut lamkah pataeng kai n'tang sak nawn saeh,” a ti nah.
16 And it was - when finished David to speak the words these to Saul and he said Saul ¿ voice your [is] this O son my David and he lifted up Saul voice his and he wept.
Hekah ol he David loh Saul taengah a thui boeih phoeiah tah Saul loh, “Ka ca David nang ol dae a?” a ti nah. Te phoeiah Saul loh a ol a huel tih rhap.
17 And he said to David [are] righteous you more than I for you you have dealt out to me good and I I have dealt out to you evil.
Te phoeiah David te, “Nang tah kai lakah na dueng. Nang loh kai taengah hnothen neh nan thuung vaengah kai loh nang taengah boethae neh kan thuung.
18 (And you *Q(K)*) you have told this day this: you have done with me good [and] this: he delivered up me Yahweh in hand your and not you killed me.
Tihnin kah na phoe vanbangla kai taengah a then ni na saii pai. Kai he nang kut dongah BOEIPA loh n'det coeng dae kai nang ngawn pawh.
19 And if he will find anyone enemy his and will he send away? him on a journey good and Yahweh may he reward you good in place of the day this [that] which you have done to me.
Hlang pakhat loh a thunkha te a hmuh coeng atah longpuei ah a then la a tueih a? Tihnin ah kai taengah na saii te BOEIPA loh nang taengah a then neh n'thuung saeh.
20 And therefore here! I know that certainly you will reign and it will be established in hand your [the] kingdom of Israel.
Manghai rhoela na manghai vetih na kut ah Israel ram pai ni tila ka ming coeng ne.
21 And therefore swear an oath! to me by Yahweh if you will cut off offspring my after me and if you will destroy name my from [the] house of father my.
Te dongah kamah hnukah ka tii ka ngan na saii pawt ham neh, kai ming te a pa imkhui lamloh na diil sak pawt ham BOEIPA minh neh kamah taengah toemngam laeh,” a ti nah.
22 And he swore an oath David to Saul and he went Saul to house his and David and men his they went up to the stronghold.
Te dongah David loh Saul taengah ol a caeng. Te phoeiah Saul te amah im la cet tih David neh a hlang rhoek tah rhalvong la cet uh.
