1 Samuel 22
1 And he went David from there and he escaped to [the] cave of Adullam and they heard brothers his and all [the] household of father his and they went down to him there towards.
Lalu Daud pergi dari Gat dan melarikan diri ke sebuah gua di Adulam. Saat saudara-saudara dan seluruh keluarganya mendengar kabar itu, datanglah mereka kepadanya.
2 And they gathered together to him every man of distress and every man whom [belonged] to him a creditor and every man bitter of soul and he became over them a commander and they were with him about four hundred man.
Semua orang yang sedang dalam masalah, seperti memiliki hutang, atau merasa tidak puas atas pemerintahan Saul, mereka berdatangan dan bergabung dengan Daud. Akhirnya Daud menjadi pemimpin atas kira-kira empat ratus orang laki-laki.
3 And he went David from there Mizpah of Moab and he said - to [the] king of Moab let him go out please father my and mother my with you until that I will know what? will he do for me God.
Dari gua itu Daud pergi ke kota Mispa di daerah Moab, dan dia berkata kepada raja orang Moab, “Tolong izinkan bapak dan ibuku tinggal bersamamu sampai saya tahu apa kehendak Allah bagiku.”
4 And he led them with [the] presence of [the] king of Moab and they remained with him all [the] days of [the] being of David in the stronghold.
Maka kedua orangtuanya tinggal bersama raja Moab selama Daud tinggal di gua.
5 And he said Gad the prophet to David not you must remain in the stronghold go and you will go for yourself [the] land of Judah and he went David and he came [the] forest of Hereth.
Tetapi pada suatu hari berkatalah seorang nabi bernama Gad kepada Daud, “Janganlah tetap tinggal di tempat persembunyian ini. Kembalilah ke tanah Yudea.” Jadi Daud berangkat menuju ke hutan di Heret.
6 And he heard Saul that he was known David and [the] men who [were] with him and Saul [was] sitting at Gibeah under the tamarisk tree at the high place and spear his [was] in hand his and all servants his [were] standing with him.
Saul segera mendengar bahwa Daud dan orang-orang yang bergabung dengannya sudah berpindah ke daerah Yehuda. Berita itu datang saat dia sedang duduk di bawah pohon tamariska di bukit di Gibea. Saul sedang memegang tombaknya dan dikelilingi oleh para pegawainya dan pengawalnya.
7 And he said Saul to servants his who were standing with him listen please O Ben-jaminites also? to all of you will he give [the] son of Jesse fields and vineyards all of you will he appoint commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds.
Saul berkata kepada para pegawainya, “Dengarkanlah, hai orang-orang Benyamin! Apakah anak Isai itu berjanji untuk memberikan ladang dan kebun anggur kepada setiap kalian? Apakah dia berjanji mengangkat setiap kalian menjadi komandan atas pasukan seribu atau seratus tentara?
8 For you have conspired all of you on me and there not [is one who] opens ear my when made son my with [the] son of Jesse and not [was] feeling pain any of you on me and opening ear my that he has raised up son my servant my on me to an ambusher as the day this.
Karena saya pikir kalian sudah bersekutu melawanku! Buktinya, tidak seorang pun dari kalian yang memberitahu saya bahwa anakku sendiri sudah berpihak dengan si anak Isai itu! Ternyata tidak ada di antara kalian yang berbelaskasihan kepadaku! Tidak ada yang memberitahu bahwa Daud dengan rombongan pemberontak mencari kesempatan membunuh saya, dan anakku sendiri mendukung dia!”
9 And he answered Doeg the Edomite and he [was] standing with [the] servants of Saul and he said I saw [the] son of Jesse coming Nob towards to Ahimelech [the] son of Ahitub.
Doeg, orang Edom itu sedang berada di sana bersama pegawai Saul lainnya, menjawab, “Waktu saya di kemah TUHAN di Nob, saya melihat anak Isai itu ketika datang kepada Imam Ahimelek, anak Ahitub.
10 And he enquired for him by Yahweh and food he gave to him and [the] sword of Goliath the Philistine he gave to him.
Ahimelek memberikan petunjuk TUHAN kepada Daud dan perbekalan makanan. Dan kepadanya juga dia memberikan pedang Goliat, orang Filistin itu.”
11 And he sent the king to summon Ahimelech [the] son of Ahitub the priest and all [the] house of father his the priests who [were] at Nob and they came all of them to the king.
Lalu Saul memerintahkan untuk memanggil Ahimelek untuk menghadapnya, beserta seluruh keluarganya yang bertugas sebagai imam di Nob. Maka mereka semua datang menghadap raja.
12 And he said Saul listen please O son of Ahitub and he said here [am] I O lord my.
Kata Saul kepadanya, “Dengarkanlah, hai anak Ahitub!” Jawabnya, “Hamba siap, Tuanku.”
13 And he said (to him *Q(k)*) Saul why? have you conspired on me you and [the] son of Jesse when giving you to him bread and a sword and [you] enquired for him by God to rise up against me to an ambusher as the day this.
Maka lanjut Saul, “Mengapa kamu dan anak Isai itu bersekutu melawan saya?! Kamu memberinya roti, dan pedang, serta meminta petunjuk Allah baginya, sehingga dia memberontak terhadap saya. Dan hari ini dia menunggu waktu untuk membunuh saya!”
14 And he answered Ahimelech the king and he said and who? among all servants your [is] like David faithful and [the] son-in-law of the king and [one who] turns aside to bodyguard your and honored in household your.
Jawab Ahimelek kepada raja, “Tuanku, siapakah di antara hamba-hambamu yang lebih setia daripada Daud? Dia adalah menantu Tuan dan pemimpin dari pasukan pelindung Tuan, orang yang sangat dihormati di antara seluruh keluarga Tuan sendiri!
15 This day did I begin? (to enquire *Q(k)*) for him by God far be it to me may not he put the king against servant his anything against all [the] house of father my for not he knew servant your in all this anything small or great.
Ya, bukanlah pertama kalinya hambamu meminta petunjuk dari Allah baginya! Tuanku jangan menuduh hamba ataupun anggota keluarga hamba. Karena kami ini tidak tahu apa-apa mengenai semua masalah ini.”
16 And he said the king certainly you will die O Ahimelech you and all [the] house of father your.
Tetapi Saul berkata, “Ahimelek, kamu dan seluruh keluargamu harus mati!”
17 And he said the king to the runners who were standing with him turn round and put to death - [the] priests of Yahweh for also hand their [is] with David and for they knew that [was] fleeing he and not they uncovered (ear my *Q(K)*) and not they were willing [the] servants of the king to stretch out hand their to fall on [the] priests of Yahweh.
Lalu Saul memberi perintah kepada para pengawal yang ada di sampingnya, “Bunuhlah para imam TUHAN, karena mereka sudah berpihak kepada Daud! Mereka mengetahui bahwa Daud sedang melarikan diri, tetapi mereka tidak memberitahukan kepadaku.” Tetapi para pengawalnya menolak untuk berbuat apa-apa kepada para imam TUHAN.
18 And he said the king (to Doeg *Q(k)*) turn round you and fall on the priests and he turned round (Doeg *Q(k)*) the Edomite and he fell he on the priests and he killed - on the day that eighty and five man [who] carried an ephod of linen.
Maka berkatalah raja kepada Doeg, “Bunuhlah mereka!” Maka Doeg membunuh seluruh imam yang hadir. Pada hari itu dia membunuh delapan puluh lima orang imam yang memakai baju efod dari kain linen.
19 And Nob [the] city of the priests he struck to [the] mouth of [the] sword from man and unto woman from child and unto suckling-child and ox[en] and donkey[s] and sheep to [the] mouth of [the] sword.
Lalu Saul menjatuhkan hukuman untuk memusnahkan kota Nob, yaitu kota khusus untuk para imam. Pasukannya melaksanakan hukuman itu dengan cara membunuh semua, baik laki-laki maupun perempuan, anak-anak dan para bayi, bahkan semua sapi, keledai, dan domba.
20 And he escaped a son one of Ahimelech [the] son of Ahitub and name his [was] Abiathar and he fled after David.
Tetapi seorang anak Ahimelek bernama Abiatar berhasil melarikan diri dan bergabung dengan Daud.
21 And he told Abiathar to David that he had killed Saul [the] priests of Yahweh.
Dia memberitahu Daud, bahwa Saul sudah membunuh para imam TUHAN.
22 And he said David to Abiathar I knew on the day that that [was] there (Doeg *Q(k)*) the Edomite that certainly he will tell to Saul I I have turned in every life of [the] house of father your.
Maka Daud berkata kepada Abiatar, “Pada hari itu di Nob, ketika saya melihat Doeg, orang Edom itu, berada di sana, saya menyadari bahwa dia pasti akan memberitahu Saul! Jadi saya yang bertanggung jawab atas kematian seluruh keluargamu!
23 Remain! with me may not you be afraid for [the one] who he seeks life my he seeks life your for [are] in good care you with me.
Bergabunglah dengan saya. Jangan takut! Raja yang ingin membunuh saya, juga ingin membunuhmu. Kamu aman bersama saya.”
