1 Samuel 20
1 And he fled David (from Naioth *Q(k)*) in Ramah and he went and he said - before Jonathan what? have I done what? [is] iniquity my and what? [is] sin my before father your that [is] seeking life my.
David aber floh von Najot bei Rama und kam und redete mit Jonatan: Was habe ich getan? Was ist meine Schuld? Und was habe ich vor deinem Vater gesündigt, daß er mir nach dem Leben trachtet?
2 And he said to him far be it not you will die here! (not he does *Q(K)*) father my anything great or anything small and not he uncovers ear my and why? will he hide father my from me the thing this there not [is] this.
Er aber sprach zu ihm: Das sei ferne, du sollst nicht sterben! Siehe, mein Vater tut nichts, weder Großes noch Kleines, das er nicht meinen Ohren offenbare. Warum sollte denn mein Vater solches vor mir verbergen? Es ist nichts daran!
3 And he swore an oath again David and he said certainly he knows father your that I have found favor in view your and he has said may not he know this Jonathan lest he should be grieved and but [by] [the] life of Yahweh and [by] [the] life of self your for about a step between me and between death.
Da schwur David dazu und sprach: Dein Vater weiß wohl, daß ich Gnade vor deinen Augen gefunden habe; darum wird er denken: Jonatan soll solches nicht wissen, es könnte ihn bekümmern! Und wahrlich, so wahr der HERR lebt und so wahr deine Seele lebt, es ist nur ein Schritt zwischen mir und dem Tode!
4 And he said Jonathan to David whatever it will say self your so I may do for you.
Jonatan aber sprach zu David: Ich will an dir tun, was dein Herz begehrt!
5 And he said David to Jonathan here! a new moon [will be] tomorrow and I certainly I will sit with the king to eat and you will let go me and I will hide myself in the field until the evening third.
David sprach zu Jonatan: Siehe, morgen ist Neumond, da sollte ich mit dem König zu Tische sitzen. Laß mich gehen, daß ich mich auf dem Felde verberge, bis zum Abend des dritten Tages!
6 Certainly [if] he will miss me father your and you will say certainly he asked for himself from me David to run Beth-lehem city his for [the] sacrifice of the days [is] there for all the clan.
Sollte mich aber dein Vater vermissen, so sprich: David bat mich sehr, nach Bethlehem in seine Stadt eilen zu dürfen, weil dort das jährliche Opfer stattfindet für das ganze Geschlecht.
7 If thus he will say good safety [belongs] to servant your and if certainly it will burn to him know that it has been determined harm from with him.
Sagt er: Es ist gut! so bedeutet das Frieden für deinen Knecht; ergrimmt er aber, so wisse, daß Böses bei ihm beschlossen ist.
8 And you will do covenant loyalty towards servant your for in [the] covenant of Yahweh you have brought servant your with you and if there in me [is] iniquity put to death me you and to father your why? this will you bring me.
Dann aber erzeige dich gnädig gegen deinen Knecht; denn du bist mit mir, deinem Knecht, in einen Bund im HERRN eingetreten. Darum, wenn eine Schuld an mir ist, so töte du mich; warum solltest du mich zu deinem Vater bringen?
9 And he said Jonathan far be it to you that - if ever I will know that it has been determined harm from with father my to come on you and not it will I tell to you.
Und Jonatan sprach: Das denke nur nicht, daß, wenn ich merken sollte, es sei bei meinem Vater beschlossen, Böses über dich zu bringen, ich es dir nicht anzeigen würde!
10 And he said David to Jonathan who? will he tell to me or what? will he answer you father your hard.
David aber sprach zu Jonatan: Wenn mir's nur jemand anzeigen würde, wenn dein Vater dir eine grobe Antwort gibt!
11 And he said Jonathan to David come! so we may go out the field and they went out [the] two of them the field.
Jonatan sprach zu David: Komm, wir wollen aufs Feld hinausgehen! Da gingen die beiden aufs Feld hinaus.
12 And he said Jonathan to David Yahweh [the] God of Israel that I will sound out father my about this time - tomorrow the third and there! good [is] to David and not? then will I send to you and I will uncover ear your.
Und Jonatan sprach zu David: Wenn ich morgen um diese Zeit und am dritten Tag erfahre, daß mein Vater gegen David gut gesinnt ist, und ich alsdann nicht zu dir hinsende und es vor deinen Ohren offenbare,
13 Thus may he do Yahweh to Jonathan and thus may he add if it will make good to father my harm on you and I will uncover ear your and I will send away you and you will go to peace and may he be Yahweh with you just as he has been with father my.
so tue der HERR, der Gott Israels, dem Jonatan dies und das! Wenn aber meinem Vater Böses wider dich beliebt, so will ich es auch vor deinen Ohren offenbaren und dich wegschicken, daß du in Frieden hinziehen kannst; und der HERR sei mit dir, wie er mit meinem Vater gewesen ist!
14 And not if still I [am] alive and not you will do with me [the] covenant loyalty of Yahweh and not I will die.
Und willst du nicht, während ich noch lebe, des HERRN Gnade an mir erzeigen, daß ich nicht sterbe?
15 And not you must cut off covenant loyalty your from with house my until perpetuity and not when cuts off Yahweh [the] enemies of David everyone from on [the] surface of the earth.
Entziehe aber auch niemals deine Gnade meinem Hause, auch dann nicht, wenn der HERR die Feinde Davids allesamt vom Erdboden vertilgen wird!
16 And he made Jonathan with [the] house of David and he will require Yahweh from [the] hand of [the] enemies of David.
Also schloß Jonatan einen Bund mit dem Hause Davids [auf die Zeit], da der Herr Rache nehmen würde an den Feinden Davids.
17 And he repeated Jonathan to make swear an oath David in love his him for [the] love of own self his he loved him.
Dazu nahm Jonatan einen Eid von David bei der Liebe, die er zu ihm hatte; denn er liebte ihn wie seine eigene Seele.
18 And he said to him Jonathan [will be] tomorrow a new moon and you will be missed if it will be empty seat your.
Und Jonatan sprach zu ihm: Morgen ist Neumond; da wird man dich vermissen, denn dein Sitz bleibt leer.
19 And you will do three times you will come down exceedingly and you will come to the place where you hid yourself there on [the] day of the deed and you will stay beside the stone Ezel.
Wenn du dann am dritten Tag früh herunterkommst, so begib dich an den Ort, wo du dich am Tage der Tat verborgen hieltest und bleibe nahe bei dem Stein Asel;
20 And I [the] three the arrows [its] side I will shoot to send [them] for myself to a target.
so will ich drei Pfeile daran vorbeischießen, als ob ich nach einem Ziele schösse.
21 And there! I will send the lad go find the arrows certainly [if] I will say to the lad there! the arrows - [are] from you and hither fetch it - and come! for safety [belongs] to you and there not [is] anything [by] [the] life of Yahweh.
Und siehe, dann werde ich den Knappen schicken und zu ihm sagen: «Geh, suche die Pfeile!» Rufe ich dann dem Knappen zu: «Siehe, die Pfeile liegen diesseits von dir, hole sie!» so komm; denn das bedeutet Frieden für dich und keine Gefahr, so wahr der HERR lebt.
22 And if thus I will say to the young man there! the arrows [are] from you and beyond go for he has sent away you Yahweh.
Sage ich aber zu dem Jungen: «Siehe, die Pfeile liegen jenseits von dir!» so geh; denn alsdann sendet dich der HERR.
23 And the matter which we have spoken I and you here! Yahweh [will be] between me and between you until perpetuity.
Von dem aber, was wir miteinander geredet haben, siehe, davon ist der HERR Zeuge zwischen dir und mir ewiglich!
24 And he hid himself David in the field and it was the new moon and he sat down the king (to *Q(K)*) the food to eat.
Also verbarg sich David auf dem Felde. Als aber der Neumond kam, setzte sich der König zum Mahl, um zu essen.
25 And he sat down the king on seat his as time - on time to [the] seat of the wall and he arose Jonathan and he sat down Abner from [the] side of Saul and it was empty [the] place of David.
Und zwar saß der König an seinem gewohnten Platz an der Wand; Jonatan aber stand auf, und Abner setzte sich neben Saul; und Davids Platz blieb leer.
26 And not he spoke Saul anything on the day that for he said [is] an accident it not [is] clean he for not clean.
Saul aber sagte an diesem Tage nichts; denn er dachte: Es ist ein Zufall; er ist nicht rein; gewiß ist er nicht rein!
27 And it was from [the] next day of the new moon second and it was empty [the] place of David. And he said Saul to Jonathan son his why? not has he come [the] son of Jesse both yesterday as well as this day to the food.
Es begab sich aber am Tage nach dem Neumond, als Davids Platz wieder leer blieb, daß Saul zu seinem Sohne Jonatan sprach: Warum ist der Sohn Isais weder gestern noch heute zum Essen gekommen?
28 And he answered Jonathan Saul certainly he asked for himself David from with me to Beth-lehem.
Jonatan antwortete Saul: David hat mich dringend gebeten, nach Bethlehem gehen zu dürfen;
29 And he said let go me please for a sacrifice of [the] clan [belongs] to us in the city and he he has commanded to me brother my and therefore if I have found favor in view your let me slip away please so I may see brothers my there-fore not he has come to [the] table of the king.
er sagte: Laß mich doch hingehen; denn wir halten ein Familienopfer in der Stadt, und mein Bruder hat mich selbst dazu entboten; habe ich nun Gnade vor deinen Augen gefunden, so gib mir doch Urlaub, daß ich meine Brüder sehen kann! Darum ist er nicht zu des Königs Tisch gekommen.
30 And it burned [the] anger of Saul on Jonathan and he said to him O son of perverse [woman] of rebelliousness ¿ not do I know that [are] choosing you [the] son of Jesse to own shame your and to [the] shame of [the] nakedness of mother your.
Da entbrannte Sauls Zorn wider Jonatan, und er sprach zu ihm: Du mißratener, widerspenstiger Sohn! Meinst du, ich wisse nicht, daß du den Sohn Isais auserkoren hast, dir und deiner Mutter zur Schande?
31 For all the days which [the] son of Jesse he lives on the earth not you will be established you and kingdom your and therefore send and fetch him to me for [is] a son of death he.
Denn solange der Sohn Isais auf Erden lebt, kannst weder du noch dein Königtum bestehen! So sende nun hin und laß ihn herbringen zu mir; denn er ist ein Kind des Todes!
32 And he answered Jonathan Saul father his and he said to him why? will he be put to death what? has he done.
Jonatan antwortete seinem Vater: Warum soll er sterben? Was hat er getan?
33 And he threw Saul the spear on him to strike him and he knew Jonathan that it had been determined it from with father his to kill David.
Da schoß Saul den Speer nach ihm, um ihn zu durchbohren. Da merkte Jonatan, daß es bei seinem Vater fest beschlossen war, David zu töten.
34 And he arose Jonathan from with the table in [the] heat of anger and not he ate on [the] day of the new moon second food for he was grieved concerning David for he had put to shame him father his.
Und Jonatan stand vom Tische auf mit grimmigem Zorn und aß an jenem zweiten Tage des Neumonds keine Speise; denn es tat ihm weh um Davids willen, daß sein Vater ihn beschimpft hatte.
35 And it was in the morning and he went out Jonathan the field to [the] appointed time of David and a lad small [was] with him.
Am Morgen aber ging Jonatan aufs Feld hinaus, zu der mit David verabredeten Zeit, und ein kleiner Knabe war mit ihm.
36 And he said to lad his run find please the arrows which I [am] about to shoot the lad he ran and he he shot the arrow to make [it] pass beyond him.
Und er sprach zu seinem Knaben: Lauf und suche mir die Pfeile, die ich schieße! Als nun der Knabe lief, schoß er einen Pfeil über ihn weg.
37 And he came the lad to [the] place of the arrow which he had shot Jonathan and he called out Jonathan after the lad and he said ¿ not [is] the arrow from you and beyond.
Und als der Knabe nach der Stelle lief, dahin Jonatan den Pfeil geschossen hatte, rief ihm Jonatan nach und sprach: Liegt nicht der Pfeil jenseits von dir?
38 And he called out Jonathan after the lad quickly make haste! may not you delay and he picked up [the] lad of Jonathan (the arrows *Q(K)*) and he came to master his.
Und Jonatan rief dem Knaben und sprach: «Schnell! Beeile dich! Steh nicht still!» Jonatans Knabe las den Pfeil auf und brachte ihn zu seinem Herrn.
39 And the lad not he knew anything only Jonathan and David they knew the matter.
Doch wußte der Knabe von nichts; nur Jonatan und David wußten um die Sache.
40 And he gave Jonathan weapons his to the lad who [belonged] to him and he said to him go take [them] the city.
Da gab Jonatan dem Knaben, der bei ihm war, die Waffen und sprach zu ihm: Geh und trage sie in die Stadt.
41 The lad he went and David he arose from beside the south and he fell to face his [the] ground towards and he bowed down three times and they kissed - each friend his and they wept for each friend his until David he did great things.
Als nun der Knabe weg war, erhob sich David von der südlichen Seite her und fiel auf sein Angesicht und verneigte sich dreimal; darnach küßten sie einander und weinten zusammen, bis David sich meistern konnte.
42 And he said Jonathan to David go to peace that we have sworn an oath [the] two of us we by [the] name of Yahweh saying Yahweh he will be - between me and between you and between offspring my and between offspring your until perpetuity. And he arose and he went and Jonathan he went the city.
Und Jonatan sprach zu David: Geh hin in Frieden! Wie wir beide im Namen des HERRN geschworen und gesagt haben, also sei der HERR zwischen mir und dir, zwischen meinem Samen und deinem Samen ewiglich! Und David machte sich auf und ging; Jonatan aber kam in die Stadt.
