1 Samuel 19
1 And he spoke Saul to Jonathan son his and to all servants his to kill David and Jonathan [the] son of Saul he delighted in David exceedingly.
USawuli wasekhuluma kuJonathani indodana yakhe lakuzo zonke inceku zakhe ukuthi babulale uDavida. Kodwa uJonathani indodana kaSawuli wayemthanda kakhulukazi uDavida.
2 And he told Jonathan to David saying [is] seeking Saul father my to kill you and therefore take care please in the morning and you will remain in the hiding place and you will hide yourself.
UJonathani wasemtshela uDavida esithi: USawuli ubaba udinga ukukubulala; ngakho-ke ake uzinanzelele ekuseni, uhlale ekusithekeni, ucatshe.
3 And I I will go out and I will stand to [the] side of father my in the field where you [are] there and I I will speak in you to father my and I will see whatever and I will tell to you.
Mina-ke ngizaphuma ngime eceleni kukababa emmangweni lapho okhona, mina ngizakhuluma ngawe kubaba; lengikubonayo ngizakutshela.
4 And he spoke Jonathan in David good to Saul father his and he said to him may not he sin the king against servant his against David for not he has sinned to you and for deeds his [are] good for you exceedingly.
UJonathani wasekhuluma okuhle ngoDavida kuSawuli uyise, wathi kuye: Inkosi kayingayoni inceku yayo, imelane loDavida, ngoba kakonanga wena, langokunjalo imisebenzi yakhe ilungile kakhulu kuwe.
5 And he put life his in palm his and he struck down the Philistine and he made Yahweh a deliverance great for all Israel you saw and you rejoiced and why? will you sin against blood innocent by killing David without cause.
Ngoba wafaka impilo yakhe esandleni sakhe watshaya umFilisti; leNkosi yenzela uIsrayeli wonke usindiso olukhulu. Wakubona, wathokoza. Pho, uzalonelani igazi elingelacala ngokubulala uDavida kungelasizatho?
6 And he listened Saul to [the] voice of Jonathan and he swore an oath Saul [by] [the] life of Yahweh if he will be put to death.
USawuli waselilalela ilizwi likaJonathani, uSawuli wafunga wathi: Kuphila kukaJehova, kayikubulawa.
7 And he called Jonathan to David and he told to him Jonathan all the words these and he brought Jonathan David to Saul and he was before him as yesterday three days ago.
UJonathani wasembiza uDavida, uJonathani wamtshela wonke lawomazwi. UJonathani wasemletha uDavida kuSawuli, njalo wayephambi kwakhe njengakuqala.
8 And it repeated the war to be and he went out David and he fought against the Philistines and he defeated them a defeat great and they fled from before him.
Kwabuya kwaba khona impi; uDavida wasephuma walwa lamaFilisti, wawatshaya ngokutshaya okukhulu aze ambalekela.
9 And it was a spirit of Yahweh - evil to Saul and he in house his [was] sitting and spear his [was] in hand his and David [was] playing an instrument with hand.
Njalo umoya omubi ovela eNkosini wawuphezu kukaSawuli ehlezi endlini yakhe, lomkhonto usesandleni sakhe; loDavida wayetshaya ichacho ngesandla sakhe.
10 And he sought Saul to strike with the spear David and the wall and he escaped from before Saul and he struck the spear in the wall and David he fled and he escaped in the night that.
USawuli wasedinga ukummbandakanya uDavida ngitsho emdulini ngomkhonto; kodwa waphunyuka ebukhoneni bukaSawuli, owahlaba umkhonto emdulini. UDavida wabaleka waphepha ngalobobusuku.
11 And he sent Saul messengers to [the] house of David to watch for him and to kill him in the morning and she told to David Michal wife his saying if not you [are] delivering life your this night tomorrow you [will be] put to death.
USawuli wasethuma izithunywa endlini kaDavida ukuze zimqaphele zimbulale ekuseni. UMikhali umkakhe wasemtshela uDavida esithi: Uba ungasindisi impilo yakho ngalobubusuku, kusasa uzabulawa.
12 And she let down Michal David through the window and he went and he fled and he escaped.
Ngakho uMikhali wasemehlisa uDavida ngewindi, wasehamba wabaleka waphepha.
13 And she took Michal the teraphim and she put [it] into the bed and quilt of goat hair she put [the] place of head its and she covered [it] with the garment.
UMikhali wasethatha isithombe, wasifaka embhedeni, wabeka umqamelo woboya bembuzi endaweni yekhanda laso, wasembesa ngelembu.
14 And he sent Saul messengers to fetch David and she said [is] sick he.
Lapho uSawuli ethuma izithunywa ukuthatha uDavida, wathi: Uyagula.
15 And he sent Saul the messengers to see David saying bring up him on the bed to me to kill him.
USawuli wasethuma izithunywa ukumbona uDavida esithi: Menyuseleni kimi ngombheda ukuze ngimbulale.
16 And they came the messengers and there! the teraphim [was] to the bed and [the] quilt of goat hair [the] place of head its.
Lapho izithunywa zingena, khangela-ke, kwakulesithombe embhedeni, lomqamelo woboya bembuzi endaweni yekhanda laso.
17 And he said Saul to Michal why? thus have you deceived me and you have let go enemy my and he has escaped and she said Michal to Saul he he said to me let go me why? will I kill you.
USawuli wasesithi kuMikhali: Ungikhohliseleni kanje, wayekela isitha sami sahamba saphepha? UMikhali wasesithi kuSawuli: Yena uthe kimi: Ngiyekela ngihambe; ngizakubulalelani?
18 And David he fled and he escaped and he went to Samuel Ramah towards and he told to him all that he had done to him Saul and he went he and Samuel and they dwelt (at Naioth. *Q(k)*)
Ngokunjalo uDavida wabaleka waphunyuka, wafika kuSamuweli eRama; wamtshela konke uSawuli ayekwenze kuye. Yena loSamuweli basebesiyahlala eNayothi.
19 And it was told to Saul saying there! David ([is] at Naioth *Q(k)*) in Ramah.
USawuli wasebikelwa kwathiwa: Khangela, uDavida useNayothi eRama.
20 And he sent Saul messengers to fetch David and he saw [the] company of the prophets prophesying and Samuel [was] standing chief over them and it was on [the] messengers of Saul [the] spirit of God and they prophesied also they.
USawuli wasethuma izithunywa ukumthatha uDavida; lapho zibona ixuku labaprofethi beprofetha, loSamuweli emi engumkhokheli phezu kwabo, uMoya kaNkulunkulu waba phezu kwezithunywa zikaSawuli, lazo zaseziprofetha.
21 And people told to Saul and he sent messengers other and they prophesied also they and he repeated Saul and he sent messengers third and they prophesied also they.
Lapho ebikelwa uSawuli, wathuma ezinye izithunywa, zona lazo zaprofetha. USawuli wasephinda ethuma izithunywa ngokwesithathu, zona lazo zaprofetha.
22 And he went also he Ramah towards and he came to a cistern great which [is] in Secu and he asked and he said where? [are] Samuel and David and someone said there! (at Naioth *Q(k)*) in Ramah.
Laye wasesiya eRama, wafika emthonjeni omkhulu oseSeku, wabuza wathi: Bangaphi oSamuweli loDavida? Kwathiwa: Khangela, eNayothi eRama.
23 And he went there to (Naioth *Q(k)*) in Ramah and it was on him also he [the] spirit of God and he went continuously and he prophesied until came he (at Naioth *Q(k)*) in Ramah.
Wasesiya khona eNayothi eRama; loMoya kaNkulunkulu waba phezu kwakhe laye; wahamba ehamba eprofetha waze wafika eNayothi eRama.
24 And he stripped off also he clothes his and he prophesied also he before Samuel and he fell down naked all the day that and all the night there-fore people say ¿ also [is] Saul among the prophets.
Laye wasekhulula izigqoko zakhe, laye waprofetha phambi kukaSamuweli, walala phansi enqunu lonke lolosuku labo bonke lobobusuku. Yikho besithi: USawuli laye uphakathi kwabaprofethi yini?
