1 Samuel 19
1 And he spoke Saul to Jonathan son his and to all servants his to kill David and Jonathan [the] son of Saul he delighted in David exceedingly.
শৌল তাঁর ছেলে যোনাথন ও সব কর্মকর্তাকে বললেন যেন তারা দাউদকে হত্যা করেন। কিন্তু যোনাথন দাউদকে খুব পছন্দ করতেন
2 And he told Jonathan to David saying [is] seeking Saul father my to kill you and therefore take care please in the morning and you will remain in the hiding place and you will hide yourself.
তাই তিনি তাঁকে সতর্ক করে দিয়ে বললেন, “আমার বাবা শৌল তোমাকে হত্যা করার সুযোগ খুঁজছেন। কাল সকালে তুমি একটু সাবধানে থেকো; গোপন এক স্থানে গিয়ে তুমি লুকিয়ে থেকো।
3 And I I will go out and I will stand to [the] side of father my in the field where you [are] there and I I will speak in you to father my and I will see whatever and I will tell to you.
তুমি যেখানে থাকবে আমিও আমার বাবার সঙ্গে সেখানে গিয়ে দাঁড়াব। তোমার বিষয়ে আমি তাঁর সঙ্গে কথা বলব ও আমি যা জানতে পারব তা তোমাকে বলে দেব।”
4 And he spoke Jonathan in David good to Saul father his and he said to him may not he sin the king against servant his against David for not he has sinned to you and for deeds his [are] good for you exceedingly.
যোনাথন তাঁর বাবা শৌলের কাছে দাউদের প্রশংসা করে বললেন, “মহারাজ, আপনার দাস দাউদের প্রতি কোনও অন্যায় করবেন না; সে তো আপনার বিরুদ্ধে কোনও অন্যায় করেনি, আর সে যা যা করেছে তাতে বরং আপনি উপকৃতই হয়েছেন।
5 And he put life his in palm his and he struck down the Philistine and he made Yahweh a deliverance great for all Israel you saw and you rejoiced and why? will you sin against blood innocent by killing David without cause.
সেই ফিলিস্তিনীকে হত্যা করার সময় সে প্রাণের ঝুঁকিও নিয়ে ফেলেছিল। গোটা ইস্রায়েল জাতির জন্য সদাপ্রভু এক মহাবিজয় ছিনিয়ে এনেছেন, এবং আপনি তা দেখে খুশিও হয়েছিলেন। অকারণে দাউদের মতো নিরপরাধ একজনকে হত্যা করার মতো অপকর্ম আপনি কেন করতে যাচ্ছেন?”
6 And he listened Saul to [the] voice of Jonathan and he swore an oath Saul [by] [the] life of Yahweh if he will be put to death.
শৌল যোনাথনের কথা শুনে এই শপথ নিয়ে বসলেন: “জীবন্ত সদাপ্রভুর দিব্যি, দাউদকে হত্যা করা হবে না।”
7 And he called Jonathan to David and he told to him Jonathan all the words these and he brought Jonathan David to Saul and he was before him as yesterday three days ago.
অতএব যা যা কথা হল, যোনাথন দাউদকে ডেকে এনে সেসব তাঁকে বলে শোনালেন। তিনি দাউদকে শৌলের কাছে নিয়ে এলেন, এবং আগের মতোই তিনি শৌলের সঙ্গে থাকতে শুরু করলেন।
8 And it repeated the war to be and he went out David and he fought against the Philistines and he defeated them a defeat great and they fled from before him.
আরেকবার যুদ্ধ শুরু হল, এবং দাউদ গিয়ে ফিলিস্তিনীদের সঙ্গে যুদ্ধ করলেন। তিনি এত জোরে তাদের আঘাত করলেন যে তারা তাঁর সামনে থেকে পালিয়ে গেল।
9 And it was a spirit of Yahweh - evil to Saul and he in house his [was] sitting and spear his [was] in hand his and David [was] playing an instrument with hand.
কিন্তু শৌল যখন হাতে বর্শা নিয়ে বাড়িতে বসেছিলেন, তখন সদাপ্রভুর কাছ থেকে একটি মন্দ আত্মা তাঁর উপর নেমে এল। দাউদ তখন বীণা বাজাচ্ছিলেন,
10 And he sought Saul to strike with the spear David and the wall and he escaped from before Saul and he struck the spear in the wall and David he fled and he escaped in the night that.
শৌল তাঁকে বর্শা দিয়ে দেওয়ালে গেঁথে ফেলার চেষ্টা করলেন, কিন্তু শৌল যখন দেওয়ালের দিকে বর্শা ছুঁড়লেন, তখন দাউদ তাঁর হাত এড়িয়ে সরে গেলেন। সেরাতে দাউদ পালিয়ে প্রাণে বাঁচলেন।
11 And he sent Saul messengers to [the] house of David to watch for him and to kill him in the morning and she told to David Michal wife his saying if not you [are] delivering life your this night tomorrow you [will be] put to death.
দাউদের উপর নজর রাখার জন্য শৌল তাঁর বাড়িতে লোক পাঠালেন, যেন সকালেই তাঁকে হত্যা করতে পারেন। কিন্তু দাউদের স্ত্রী মীখল তাঁকে সতর্ক করে দিয়ে বললেন, “আজ রাতেই যদি তুমি প্রাণ বাঁচিয়ে না পালাও তবে কাল তুমি নিহত হবে।”
12 And she let down Michal David through the window and he went and he fled and he escaped.
অতএব মীখল দাউদকে জানালা দিয়ে নিচে নামিয়ে দিলেন, এবং তিনি পালিয়ে রক্ষা পেলেন।
13 And she took Michal the teraphim and she put [it] into the bed and quilt of goat hair she put [the] place of head its and she covered [it] with the garment.
পরে মীখল একটি প্রতিমা নিয়ে সেটিকে বিছানায় শুইয়ে, কাপড়চোপড় দিয়ে ঢেকে রেখে মাথার দিকে কিছুটা ছাগলের লোম রেখে দিলেন।
14 And he sent Saul messengers to fetch David and she said [is] sick he.
দাউদকে বন্দি করার জন্য শৌল যখন লোক পাঠালেন, মীখল বললেন, “উনি অসুস্থ।”
15 And he sent Saul the messengers to see David saying bring up him on the bed to me to kill him.
পরে আবার শৌল দাউদকে দেখার জন্য লোক পাঠিয়ে তাদের বলে দিলেন, “ওকে খাট সমেত আমার কাছে নিয়ে এসো যেন আমি ওকে হত্যা করতে পারি।”
16 And they came the messengers and there! the teraphim [was] to the bed and [the] quilt of goat hair [the] place of head its.
কিন্তু লোকেরা ঘরে ঢুকে দেখল, বিছানার উপর প্রতিমা রাখা আছে, ও মাথার দিকে কিছুটা ছাগলের লোম রাখা আছে।
17 And he said Saul to Michal why? thus have you deceived me and you have let go enemy my and he has escaped and she said Michal to Saul he he said to me let go me why? will I kill you.
শৌল মীখলকে বললেন, “তুমি কেন আমাকে এভাবে ঠকালে ও আমার শত্রুকে পালিয়ে যেতে দিলে?” মীখল তাঁকে বললেন, “সে আমাকে বলল, ‘আমাকে যেতে দাও। আমি কেন তোমায় হত্যা করব?’”
18 And David he fled and he escaped and he went to Samuel Ramah towards and he told to him all that he had done to him Saul and he went he and Samuel and they dwelt (at Naioth. *Q(k)*)
দাউদ পালিয়ে নিজের প্রাণরক্ষা করার পর রামায় শমূয়েলের কাছে গেলেন ও শৌল তাঁর প্রতি যা যা করেছিলেন সেসব বলে শোনালেন। পরে তিনি ও শমূয়েল নায়োতে গিয়ে সেখানেই বসবাস করলেন।
19 And it was told to Saul saying there! David ([is] at Naioth *Q(k)*) in Ramah.
শৌলের কাছে খবর এল: “দাউদ রামাতে অবস্থিত নায়োতে আছে”
20 And he sent Saul messengers to fetch David and he saw [the] company of the prophets prophesying and Samuel [was] standing chief over them and it was on [the] messengers of Saul [the] spirit of God and they prophesied also they.
তাই তিনি তাঁকে বন্দি করে আনার জন্য লোক পাঠালেন। কিন্তু যখন তারা দেখল একদল ভাববাদী ভাববাণী বলছেন, ও শমূয়েল দাঁড়িয়ে থেকে তাঁদের নেতৃত্ব দিচ্ছেন, তখন ঈশ্বরের আত্মা শৌলের লোকজনের উপর নেমে এলেন, ও তারাও ভাববাণী বলল।
21 And people told to Saul and he sent messengers other and they prophesied also they and he repeated Saul and he sent messengers third and they prophesied also they.
শৌলকে সেকথা বলা হল, এবং তিনি আরও লোকজন পাঠালেন, ও তারাও ভাববাণী বলল। শৌল তৃতীয়বার লোক পাঠালেন, আর তারাও ভাববাণী বলল।
22 And he went also he Ramah towards and he came to a cistern great which [is] in Secu and he asked and he said where? [are] Samuel and David and someone said there! (at Naioth *Q(k)*) in Ramah.
শেষ পর্যন্ত, তিনি নিজেই রামার উদ্দেশে রওনা হয়ে সেখুতে অবস্থিত সেই বড়ো কুয়োটির কাছে পৌঁছে গেলেন। তিনি জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন, “শমূয়েল ও দাউদ কোথায়?” “রামাতে অবস্থিত নায়োতে,” তারা বলল।
23 And he went there to (Naioth *Q(k)*) in Ramah and it was on him also he [the] spirit of God and he went continuously and he prophesied until came he (at Naioth *Q(k)*) in Ramah.
অতএব শৌল রামাতে অবস্থিত নায়োতে চলে গেলেন। কিন্তু ঈশ্বরের আত্মা তাঁর উপরেও নেমে এলেন, এবং যতক্ষণ না তিনি নায়োতে পৌঁছালেন, সারা রাস্তায় তিনি ভাববাণী বলে গেলেন।
24 And he stripped off also he clothes his and he prophesied also he before Samuel and he fell down naked all the day that and all the night there-fore people say ¿ also [is] Saul among the prophets.
তিনি পোশাক খুলে ফেললেন, ও শমূয়েলের উপস্থিতিতে তিনিও ভাববাণী বললেন। তিনি সারাদিন ও সারারাত উলঙ্গ হয়েই ছিলেন। এজন্যই লোকেরা বলে, “শৌলও কি ভাববাদীদের মধ্যে একজন?”
