1 Samuel 15
1 And he said Samuel to Saul me he sent Yahweh to anoint you to king over people his over Israel and therefore listen to [the] voice of [the] words of Yahweh.
Ary hoy Samoela tamin’ i Saoly: Jehovah naniraka ahy hanosotra anao ho mpanjakan’ ny Isiraely olony; koa ankehitriny mihainoa ny tenin’ i Jehovah ianao.
2 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts I have paid attention to [that] which it did Amalek to Israel [that] which it set to it on the way when came up it from Egypt.
Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro: Hovaliako izay nataon’ ny Amalekita tamin’ ny Isiraely, dia ny nanotrehany azy tany an-dalana, fony izy niakatra avy tany Egypta.
3 Now go and you will attack Amalek and you will totally destroy all that [belongs] to it and not you must have compassion on it and you will put to death from a man unto a woman from a child and unto a suckling-child from an ox and unto a sheep from a camel and unto a donkey.
Koa mandehana ankehitriny, ka mameleza ny Amalekita, ary aringano izay rehetra mety ho azy, ka aza asiana miangana, fa vonoy avokoa, na lahy na vavy, na ankizy madinika, na zaza minono, na omby, na ondry aman’ osy, na rameva, na boriky.
4 And he summoned Saul the people and he mustered them at Telaim two hundred thousand foot soldier[s] and ten thousand with man of Judah.
Ary Saoly namory ny olona ka nandamina azy tao Telaima, dia roa hetsy ny mandeha an-tongotra, ary iray alina ny lehilahy amin’ ny Joda.
5 And he came Saul to [the] city of Amalek and he lay in wait in the wadi.
Ary Saoly dia tonga tao an-tanànan’ ny Amalekita ka nanotrika tao an-dohasaha.
6 And he said Saul to the Kenite[s] go depart go down from among [the] Amalekite[s] lest I should destroy you with it and you you did loyalty with all [the] people of Israel when came up they from Egypt and it departed [the] Kenite[s] from among Amalek.
Ary hoy Saoly tamin’ ny Kenita: Andeha miala ianareo, ka midìna hiala amin’ ny Amalekita, fandrao miaraka aringako aminy ianareo, fa ianareo nanisy soa ny Zanak’ Isiraely rehetra, fony izy nivoaka avy tany Egypta. Ka dia niala tamin’ ny Amalekita ny Kenita.
7 And he attacked Saul Amalek from Havilah coming you Shur which [is] on [the] face of Egypt.
Ary Saoly namely ny Amalekita hatrany Havila amin’ ny lalana mankany Sora izay tandrifin’ i Egypta.
8 And he seized Agag [the] king of Amalek alive and all the people he totally destroyed to [the] mouth of [the] sword.
Ary azony sambo-belona Agaga, mpanjakan’ ny Amalekita, fa ny vahoaka rehetra kosa dia naringany tamin’ ny lelan-tsabatra.
9 And he had compassion Saul and the people on Agag and on [the] best of the sheep and the cattle and the second and on the lambs and on all the good and not they were willing to totally destroy them and all the property despised and worthless it they totally destroyed.
Fa Saoly sy ny olona tsy namono an’ i Agaga sy izay tsara indrindra tamin’ ny ondry aman’ osy sy ny omby sy ny mifahy sy ny zanak’ ondry ary izay tsara rehetra, fa tsy foiny ho naringana ireny; fa ny ratsy rehetra sy izay tsy tiany kosa dia naringany ihany avokoa.
10 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Samuel saying.
Ary tonga tamin’ i Samoela ny tenin’ i Jehovah hoe:
11 I regret that I have made king Saul to king for he has turned back from after me and words my not he has carried out and it burned to Samuel and he cried out to Yahweh all the night.
Manenina Aho noho ny nanaovako an’ i Saoly ho mpanjaka, fa niala tamin’ ny fanarahana Ahy izy ka tsy nahatanteraka ny teniko. Dia tezitra Samoela ka nitaraina tamin’ i Jehovah mandritra ny alina.
12 And he rose early Samuel to meet Saul in the morning and it was told to Samuel saying he came Saul Carmel towards and there! [he was] setting up for himself a monument and he turned and he passed on and he went down Gilgal.
Ary nifoha maraina koa Samoela hitsena an’ i Saoly, dia nisy nilaza tamin’ i Samoela hoe: Saoly efa tonga ato Karmela, ary, indro, izy nanorina fahatsiarovana ho azy, dia nihodina ka nandroso nidina ho any Gilgala.
13 And he came Samuel to Saul and he said to him Saul [be] blessed you by Yahweh I have carried out [the] word of Yahweh.
Ary Samoela tonga teo amin’ i Saoly, dia hoy Saoly taminy: Hotahin’ i Jehovah anie ianao; efa nahatanteraka ny tenin’ i Jehovah aho.
14 And he said Samuel and what? [is] [the] sound of the sheep this in ears my and [the] sound of the cattle which I [am] hearing.
Fa hoy Samoela: Inona anefa izany fibarareoky ny ondry aman’ osy ren’ ny sofiko izany sy ny fimàmàn’ ny omby reko?
15 And he said Saul from [the] Amalekite[s] people brought them that it had compassion the people on [the] best of the sheep and the cattle so as to sacrifice [them] to Yahweh God your and the rest we totally destroyed.
Ary hoy Saoly: Avy tany amin’ ny Amalekita no nitondrany ireny, fa ny olona namela izay ondry aman’ osy sy omby tsara indrindra mba hovonoina hatao fanatitra ho an’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao, fa ny sisa dia naringanay ihany avokoa.
16 And he said Samuel to Saul be quiet so let me tell to you [that] which he said Yahweh to me this night (and he said *Q(K)*) to him speak.
Dia hoy Samoela tamin’ i Saoly: Aoka izay, fa hambarako aminao izay nolazain’ i Jehovah tamiko halina. Ary hoy izy taminy: Ambarao ary.
17 And he said Samuel ¿ not though [were] small you in own eyes your [the] head of [the] tribes of Israel [are] you and he anointed you Yahweh to king over Israel.
Dia hoy Samoela: Na dia noheverinao ho kely aza ny tenanao, moa tsy tonga lohan’ ny firenen’ Isiraely va? Ary Jehovah nanosotra anao ho mpanjakan’ ny Isiraely;
18 And he sent you Yahweh on a journey and he said go and you will totally destroy the sinners Amalek and you will wage war against it until destroy they them.
ary Jehovah naniraka anao ka nanao hoe: Mandehana, ka aringano avokoa ny Amalekita mpanota, ary miadia aminy ambara-paharingany.
19 And why? not did you listen to [the] voice of Yahweh and did you rush? to the plunder and did you do? the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh.
Koa nahoana ianao no tsy nihaino ny feon’ i Jehovah, fa nanao an-kazakazaka tamin’ ny babo ka nanao izay ratsy eo imason’ i Jehovah?
20 And he said Saul to Samuel that I listened to [the] voice of Yahweh and I went on the journey which he sent me Yahweh and I brought Agag [the] king of Amalek and Amalek I totally destroyed.
Fa hoy Saoly tamin’ i Samoela: Efa nihaino ny feon’ i Jehovah ihany aho ka nandeha tamin’ izay nanirahan’ i Jehovah ahy ary nitondra an’ i Agaga, mpanjakan’ ny Amalekita, sady nandringana ny Amalekita rehetra.
21 And it took the people from the plunder sheep and cattle [the] choicest of the object[s] for destruction to sacrifice [them] to Yahweh God your in Gilgal.
Nefa nangalan’ ny olona ondry aman’ osy sy omby ny babo, dia izay soa avy tamin’ ny zavatra haringana, mba hovonoina hatao fanatitra ho an’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ao Gilgala.
22 And he said Samuel ¿ [does] delight [belong] to Yahweh in burnt offerings and sacrifices like listening to [the] voice of Yahweh here! to obey more than sacrifice [is] good to pay attention more than [the] fat of rams.
Fa hoy Samoela: Sitrak’ i Jehovah moa ny fanatitra dorana sy ny fanatitra hafa alatsa-drà mihoatra noho ny mihaino ny feon’ i Jehovah? He! ny manafaka no tsara noho ny fanatitra, ary ny mihaino no tsara noho ny saboran’ ondrilahy.
23 For [is the] sin of divination rebellion and [is] wickedness and teraphim presumption because you have rejected [the] word of Yahweh and he has rejected you from king.
Fa ny miodina dia toy ny heloka amin’ ny fankatovana, ary ny ditra dia toy ny manompo sampy sy terafima. Satria nandà ny tenin’ i Jehovah ianao, dia nolaviny tsy ho mpanjaka kosa.
24 And he said Saul to Samuel I have sinned for I have transgressed [the] mouth of Yahweh and words your for I feared the people and I listened to voice their.
Ary hoy Saoly tamin’ i Samoela: Efa nanota aho, fa efa nandika ny tenin’ i Jehovah sy ny teninao; fa natahotra ny vahoaka aho ka nihaino ny feony.
25 And therefore forgive please sin my and return with me so I may bow down to Yahweh.
Koa ankehitriny, masìna ianao, mamelà ny heloko ary miverena amiko indray mba hiankohofako eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah.
26 And he said Samuel to Saul not I will return with you for you have rejected [the] word of Yahweh and he has rejected you Yahweh from being king over Israel.
Fa hoy Samoela tamin’ i Saoly: Tsy hiverina aminao aho; fa ianao efa nandà ny tenin’ i Jehovah, ary Jehovah kosa efa nandà anao tsy ho mpanjakan’ ny Isiraely intsony.
27 And he turned round Samuel to go and he took hold on [the] skirt of robe his and it tore.
Ary nony nihodina handeha Samoela, dia nohazonin’ i Saoly ny sisin’ akanjony ka triatra.
28 And he said to him Samuel he has torn Yahweh [the] kingdom of Israel from with you this day and he will give it to neighbor your good more than you.
Dia hoy Samoela tamin’ i Saoly: Efa notriarin’ i Jehovah kosa ho afaka aminao androany ny fanjakan’ Isiraely ka efa nomeny ny namanao izay tsara noho ianao.
29 And also [the] eminence of Israel not he will deal falsely and not he will regret for not [is] a man he to regret.
Ary koa, ny Tokin’ ny Isiraely tsy mba handainga na hanenina, fa tsy olona Izy ka hanenina.
30 And he said I have sinned now honor me please before [the] elders of people my and before Israel and return with me and I will bow down to Yahweh God your.
Fa hoy Saoly: Efa nanota aho izao, kanefa, masìna ianao, mba omeo voninahitra eo anatrehan’ ny loholoko sy eo anatrehan’ ny Isiraely aho, ary andeha re hiara-miverina amiko indray mba hiankohofako eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao.
31 And he turned back Samuel after Saul and he bowed down Saul to Yahweh.
Ary Samoela dia niverina nanaraka an’ i Saoly indray ary Saoly niankohoka teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah.
32 And he said Samuel bring near to me Agag [the] king of Amalek and he came to him Agag bonds and he said Agag truly it has departed [the] bitterness of death.
Dia hoy Samoela: Entonareo eto amiko Agaga, mpanjakan’ ny Amalekita. Ary Agaga nankeo aminy sady falifaly ka nanao hoe: Lasa tokoa ny fangidian’ ny fahafatesana.
33 And he said Samuel just as it has made childless women sword your so she will become childless from women mother your and he cut to pieces Samuel Agag before Yahweh in Gilgal.
Fa hoy Samoela: Toy ny tsy nampananan’ ny sabatrao zanaka ny vehivavy no tsy hananan’ ny reninao zanaka kosa ao amin’ ny vehivavy. Dia notetitetehin’ i Samoela teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah tao Gilgala Agaga.
34 And he went Samuel Ramah towards and Saul he went up to house his Gibeah of Saul.
Ary Samoela nankany Rama; fa Saoly kosa niakatra tany amin’ ny tranony tao Gibean’ i Saoly.
35 And not he repeated Samuel to see Saul until [the] day of death his for he mourned Samuel concerning Saul and Yahweh he regretted that he had made king Saul over Israel.
Ary Samoela tsy namangy an’ i Saoly intsony ambara-pahafatiny; fa Samoela nalahelo an’ i Saoly. Ary Jehovah nanenina noho ny nanaovany an’ i Saoly ho mpanjakan’ ny Isiraely.
