1 Samuel 14
1 And it was the day and he said Jonathan [the] son of Saul to the young man [the] bearer of armor his come! so let us pass over to [the] garrison of [the] Philistines which [is] from [the] other side of this and to father his not he told.
१एक दिन शाऊल के पुत्र योनातान ने अपने पिता से बिना कुछ कहे अपने हथियार ढोनेवाले जवान से कहा, “आ, हम उधर पलिश्तियों की चौकी के पास चलें।”
2 And Saul [was] remaining at [the] edge of Gibeah under pomegranate tree which [is] in Migron and the people which [was] with him [was] about six hundred man.
२शाऊल तो गिबा की सीमा पर मिग्रोन में अनार के पेड़ के तले टिका हुआ था, और उसके संग के लोग कोई छः सौ थे;
3 And Ahijah [the] son of Ahitub [the] brother of Ichabod - [the] son of Phinehas [the] son of Eli [the] priest of - Yahweh in Shiloh [was] bearing an ephod and the people not it knew that he had gone Jonathan.
३और एली जो शीलो में यहोवा का याजक था, उसके पुत्र पीनहास का पोता, और ईकाबोद के भाई, अहीतूब का पुत्र अहिय्याह भी एपोद पहने हुए संग था। परन्तु उन लोगों को मालूम न था कि योनातान चला गया है।
4 And [were] between the passes which he sought Jonathan to pass over to [the] garrison of [the] Philistines [the] tooth of the rock from the other side from this and [the] tooth of the rock from the other side from this and [the] name of the one [was] Bozez and [the] name of the one [was] Seneh.
४उन घाटियों के बीच में, जिनसे होकर योनातान पलिश्तियों की चौकी को जाना चाहता था, दोनों ओर एक-एक नोकीली चट्टान थी; एक चट्टान का नाम बोसेस, और दूसरी का नाम सेने था।
5 The tooth the one a pillar [was] from [the] north opposite to Micmash and the one [tooth] [was] from [the] south opposite to Geba.
५एक चट्टान तो उत्तर की ओर मिकमाश के सामने, और दूसरी दक्षिण की ओर गेबा के सामने खड़ी थी।
6 And he said Jonathan to the young man - [the] bearer of armor his come! so let us pass over to [the] garrison of the uncircumcised [men] these perhaps he will act Yahweh for us for not [belongs] to Yahweh a limitation to save by many or by few.
६तब योनातान ने अपने हथियार ढोनेवाले जवान से कहा, “आ, हम उन खतनारहित लोगों की चौकी के पास जाएँ; क्या जाने यहोवा हमारी सहायता करे; क्योंकि यहोवा को कोई रुकावट नहीं, कि चाहे तो बहुत लोगों के द्वारा, चाहे थोड़े लोगों के द्वारा छुटकारा दे।”
7 And he said to him [the] bearer of armor his do all that [is] in heart your turn aside for yourself here I [am] with you according to heart your.
७उसके हथियार ढोनेवाले ने उससे कहा, “जो कुछ तेरे मन में हो वही कर; उधर चल, मैं तेरी इच्छा के अनुसार तेरे संग रहूँगा।”
8 And he said Jonathan here! we [are] about to pass over to the men and we will reveal ourselves to them.
८योनातान ने कहा, “सुन, हम उन मनुष्यों के पास जाकर अपने को उन्हें दिखाएँ।
9 If thus they will say to us be still until reach we you and we will remain in place our and not we will go up to them.
९यदि वे हम से यह कहें, ‘हमारे आने तक ठहरे रहो,’ तब तो हम उसी स्थान पर खड़े रहें, और उनके पास न चढ़ें।
10 And if thus they will say come up to us and we will go up for he has given them Yahweh in hand our and this for us [will be] the sign.
१०परन्तु यदि वे यह कहें, ‘हमारे पास चढ़ आओ,’ तो हम यह जानकर चढ़ें, कि यहोवा उन्हें हमारे हाथ में कर देगा। हमारे लिये यही चिन्ह हो।”
11 And they revealed themselves [the] two of them to [the] garrison of [the] Philistines and they said [the] Philistines here! Hebrews [are] coming out from the holes where they have hidden themselves there.
११तब उन दोनों ने अपने को पलिश्तियों की चौकी पर प्रगट किया, तब पलिश्ती कहने लगे, “देखो, इब्री लोग उन बिलों में से जहाँ वे छिपे थे निकले आते हैं।”
12 And they answered [the] men of the garrison Jonathan - and [the] bearer of armor his and they said come up to us so let us make known to you something. And he said Jonathan to [the] bearer of armor his come up after me for he has given them Yahweh in [the] hand of Israel.
१२फिर चौकी के लोगों ने योनातान और उसके हथियार ढोनेवाले से पुकारके कहा, “हमारे पास चढ़ आओ, तब हम तुम को कुछ सिखाएँगे।” तब योनातान ने अपने हथियार ढोनेवाले से कहा, “मेरे पीछे-पीछे चढ़ आ; क्योंकि यहोवा उन्हें इस्राएलियों के हाथ में कर देगा।”
13 And he went up Jonathan on hands his and on feet his and [the] bearer of armor his [was] behind him and they fell before Jonathan and [the] bearer of armor his [was] killing behind him.
१३और योनातान अपने हाथों और पाँवों के बल चढ़ गया, और उसका हथियार ढोनेवाला भी उसके पीछे-पीछे चढ़ गया। पलिश्ती योनातान के सामने गिरते गए, और उसका हथियार ढोनेवाला उसके पीछे-पीछे उन्हें मारता गया।
14 And it was the slaughter first which he struck down Jonathan and [the] bearer of armor his about twenty man about in half of a furrow an acre of a field.
१४यह पहला संहार जो योनातान और उसके हथियार ढोनेवाले से हुआ, उसमें आधे बीघे भूमि में बीस एक पुरुष मारे गए।
15 And it was trembling in the camp in the field and among all the people the garrison and the destroyer they trembled also they and it quaked the earth and it became a trembling of God.
१५और छावनी में, और मैदान पर, और उन सब लोगों में थरथराहट हुई; और चौकीवाले और आक्रमण करनेवाले भी थरथराने लगे; और भूकम्प भी हुआ; और अत्यन्त बड़ी थरथराहट हुई।
16 And they saw the watchmen of Saul at Gibeah of Benjamin and there! the multitude it melted away and it went and here.
१६बिन्यामीन के गिबा में शाऊल के पहरुओं ने दृष्टि करके देखा कि वह भीड़ घटती जा रही है, और वे लोग इधर-उधर चले जा रहे हैं।
17 And he said Saul to the people which [was] with him muster please and see who? has he gone from with us and they mustered and there! there not [were] Jonathan and [the] bearer of armor his.
१७तब शाऊल ने अपने साथ के लोगों से कहा, “अपनी गिनती करके देखो कि हमारे पास से कौन चला गया है।” उन्होंने गिनकर देखा, कि योनातान और उसका हथियार ढोनेवाला यहाँ नहीं हैं।
18 And he said Saul to Ahijah bring near! [the] ark of God for it was [the] ark of God on the day that and [the] people of Israel.
१८तब शाऊल ने अहिय्याह से कहा, “परमेश्वर का सन्दूक इधर ला।” उस समय तो परमेश्वर का सन्दूक इस्राएलियों के साथ था।
19 And it was until he spoke Saul to the priest and the tumult which [was] in [the] camp of [the] Philistines and it went continuously and great. And he said Saul to the priest withdraw hand your.
१९शाऊल याजक से बातें कर रहा था, कि पलिश्तियों की छावनी में हुल्लड़ अधिक बढ़ गया; तब शाऊल ने याजक से कहा, “अपना हाथ खींच ले।”
20 And he was called together Saul and all the people which [was] with him and they went to the battle and there! it was [the] sword of each man in neighbor his panic [was] great very.
२०तब शाऊल और उसके संग के सब लोग इकट्ठे होकर लड़ाई में गए; वहाँ उन्होंने क्या देखा, कि एक-एक पुरुष की तलवार अपने-अपने साथी पर चल रही है, और बहुत बड़ा कोलाहल मच रहा है।
21 And the Hebrews they [who] were [belonging] to the Philistines as yesterday three days ago who they had gone up with them in the camp all around and also they to be with Israel which [was] with Saul and Jonathan.
२१जो इब्री पहले पलिश्तियों की ओर थे, और उनके साथ चारों ओर से छावनी में गए थे, वे भी शाऊल और योनातान के संग के इस्राएलियों में मिल गए।
22 And every person of Israel who had hidden themselves in [the] hill country of Ephraim they heard that they had fled [the] Philistines and they pursued closely also they after them in the battle.
२२इसी प्रकार जितने इस्राएली पुरुष एप्रैम के पहाड़ी देश में छिप गए थे, वे भी यह सुनकर कि पलिश्ती भागे जाते हैं, लड़ाई में आकर उनका पीछा करने में लग गए।
23 And he delivered Yahweh on the day that Israel and the battle it passed beyond Beth Aven.
२३तब यहोवा ने उस दिन इस्राएलियों को छुटकारा दिया; और लड़नेवाले बेतावेन की परली ओर तक चले गए।
24 And [the] man of Israel he was hard pressed on the day that and he had put under oath Saul the people saying [be] cursed the person who he will eat food until the evening and I will avenge myself from enemies my and not it tasted all the people food.
२४परन्तु इस्राएली पुरुष उस दिन तंग हुए, क्योंकि शाऊल ने उन लोगों को शपथ धराकर कहा, “श्रापित हो वह, जो साँझ से पहले कुछ खाए; इसी रीति मैं अपने शत्रुओं से बदला ले सकूँगा।” अतः उन लोगों में से किसी ने कुछ भी भोजन न किया।
25 And all the land they went in the forest and it was honey on [the] surface of the field.
२५और सब लोग किसी वन में पहुँचे, जहाँ भूमि पर मधु पड़ा हुआ था।
26 And it came the people into the forest and there! a flowing of honey and there not [was one who] reached hand his to mouth his for it feared the people the oath.
२६जब लोग वन में आए तब क्या देखा, कि मधु टपक रहा है, तो भी शपथ के डर के मारे कोई अपना हाथ अपने मुँह तक न ले गया।
27 And Jonathan not he had heard when made to swear an oath father his the people and he stretched out [the] end of the staff which [was] in hand his and he dipped it in [the] honeycomb of the honey and he brought back hand his to mouth his (and they brightened *Q(K)*) eyes his.
२७परन्तु योनातान ने अपने पिता को लोगों को शपथ धराते न सुना था, इसलिए उसने अपने हाथ की छड़ी की नोक बढ़ाकर मधु के छत्ते में डुबाया, और अपना हाथ अपने मुँह तक ले गया; तब उसकी आँखों में ज्योति आई।
28 And he answered a person from the people and he said certainly he made to swear an oath father your the people saying [be] cursed the person who he will eat food this day and it was weary the people.
२८तब लोगों में से एक मनुष्य ने कहा, “तेरे पिता ने लोगों को कड़ी शपथ धरा के कहा है, ‘श्रापित हो वह, जो आज कुछ खाए।’” और लोग थके-माँदे थे।
29 And he said Jonathan he has troubled father my the land see please that they brightened eyes my for I tasted a little of honey this.
२९योनातान ने कहा, “मेरे पिता ने लोगों को कष्ट दिया है; देखो, मैंने इस मधु को थोड़ा सा चखा, और मेरी आँखें कैसी चमक उठी हैं।
30 Indeed? for certainly [if] it had eaten this day the people any of [the] plunder of enemies its which it found for now not it has been great defeat among the Philistines.
३०यदि आज लोग अपने शत्रुओं की लूट से जिसे उन्होंने पाया मनमाना खाते, तो कितना अच्छा होता; अभी तो बहुत अधिक पलिश्ती मारे नहीं गए।”
31 And they defeated on the day that the Philistines from Micmash Aijalon towards and it was weary the people exceedingly.
३१उस दिन वे मिकमाश से लेकर अय्यालोन तक पलिश्तियों को मारते गए; और लोग बहुत ही थक गए।
32 (And it rushed *Q(K)*) the people to (the plunder *Q(K)*) and they took sheep and cattle and [the] young of cattle and they slaughtered [them] [the] ground towards and it ate [them] the people with the blood.
३२इसलिए वे लूट पर टूटे, और भेड़-बकरी, और गाय-बैल, और बछड़े लेकर भूमि पर मारकर उनका माँस लहू समेत खाने लगे।
33 And people told to Saul saying there! the people [are] sinning to Yahweh by eating with the blood and he said you have acted treacherously roll to me this day a stone great.
३३जब इसका समाचार शाऊल को मिला, कि लोग लहू समेत माँस खाकर यहोवा के विरुद्ध पाप करते हैं। तब उसने उनसे कहा, “तुम ने तो विश्वासघात किया है; अभी एक बड़ा पत्थर मेरे पास लुढ़का दो।”
34 And he said Saul be scattered among the people and you will say to them bring near to me each one ox his and each one sheep his and you will slaughter [it] in this [place] and you will eat [it] and not you will sin to Yahweh by eating with the blood and they brought near all the people each one ox his in hand his this night and they slaughtered [it] there.
३४फिर शाऊल ने कहा, “लोगों के बीच में इधर-उधर फिरके उनसे कहो, ‘अपना-अपना बैल और भेड़ शाऊल के पास ले जाओ, और वहीं बलि करके खाओ; और लहू समेत खाकर यहोवा के विरुद्ध पाप न करो।’” तब सब लोगों ने उसी रात अपना-अपना बैल ले जाकर वहीं बलि किया।
35 And he built Saul an altar to Yahweh it he began to build an altar to Yahweh.
३५तब शाऊल ने यहोवा के लिये एक वेदी बनवाई; वह तो पहली वेदी है जो उसने यहोवा के लिये बनवाई।
36 And he said Saul let us go down after [the] Philistines - night and let us plunder them - until [the] light of the morning and not we will leave among them anyone and people said all the good in view your do. And he said the priest let us draw near here to God.
३६फिर शाऊल ने कहा, “हम इसी रात को ही पलिश्तियों का पीछा करके उन्हें भोर तक लूटते रहें; और उनमें से एक मनुष्य को भी जीवित न छोड़ें।” उन्होंने कहा, “जो कुछ तुझे अच्छा लगे वही कर।” परन्तु याजक ने कहा, “हम यहीं परमेश्वर के समीप आएँ।”
37 And he enquired Saul by God ¿ will I go down after [the] Philistines ¿ will you give them in [the] hand of Israel and not he answered him on the day that.
३७तब शाऊल ने परमेश्वर से पूछा, “क्या मैं पलिश्तियों का पीछा करूँ? क्या तू उन्हें इस्राएल के हाथ में कर देगा?” परन्तु उसे उस दिन कुछ उत्तर न मिला।
38 And he said Saul draw near here O all [the] corners of the people and know and see how? has it happened the sin this this day.
३८तब शाऊल ने कहा, “हे प्रजा के मुख्य लोगों, इधर आकर जानो; और देखो कि आज पाप किस प्रकार से हुआ है।
39 For [by] [the] life of Yahweh who delivers Israel for except there it [is] in Jonathan son my for certainly he will die and not [was] answering him any of all the people.
३९क्योंकि इस्राएल के छुड़ानेवाले यहोवा के जीवन की शपथ, यदि वह पाप मेरे पुत्र योनातान से हुआ हो, तो भी निश्चय वह मार डाला जाएगा।” परन्तु लोगों में से किसी ने उसे उत्तर न दिया।
40 And he said to all Israel you you will be to a side one and I and Jonathan son my we will be to a side one and they said the people to Saul the good in view your do.
४०तब उसने सारे इस्राएलियों से कहा, “तुम एक ओर रहो, और मैं और मेरा पुत्र योनातान दूसरी ओर रहेंगे।” लोगों ने शाऊल से कहा, “जो कुछ तुझे अच्छा लगे वही कर।”
41 And he said Saul to Yahweh [the] God of Israel (why? not you did answer servant your the day if there in me or in Jonathan son my the iniquity this Yahweh [the] God [of] Israel give! Urim and if is it the iniquity this in people your [of] Israel *X*) give! Thummim and he was taken by lot Jonathan and Saul and the people they went out.
४१तब शाऊल ने यहोवा से कहा, “हे इस्राएल के परमेश्वर, सत्य बात बता।” तब चिट्ठी योनातान और शाऊल के नाम पर निकली, और प्रजा बच गई।
42 And he said Saul make fall between me and between Jonathan son my and he was taken by lot Jonathan.
४२फिर शाऊल ने कहा, “मेरे और मेरे पुत्र योनातान के नाम पर चिट्ठी डालो।” तब चिट्ठी योनातान के नाम पर निकली।
43 And he said Saul to Jonathan tell! to me what? have you done and he told to him Jonathan and he said certainly I tasted with [the] end of the staff which [was] in hand my a little of honey here I I will die.
४३तब शाऊल ने योनातान से कहा, “मुझे बता, कि तूने क्या किया है।” योनातान ने बताया, और उससे कहा, “मैंने अपने हाथ की छड़ी की नोक से थोड़ा सा मधु चख तो लिया था; और देख, मुझे मरना है।”
44 And he said Saul thus may he do God and thus may he add for certainly you will die O Jonathan.
४४शाऊल ने कहा, “परमेश्वर ऐसा ही करे, वरन् इससे भी अधिक करे; हे योनातान, तू निश्चय मारा जाएगा।”
45 And it said the people to Saul ¿ Jonathan - will he die who he has done the deliverance great this in Israel far be it [by] [the] life of Yahweh if it will fall one of [the] hair[s] of head his [the] ground towards for with God he has acted the day this and they redeemed the people Jonathan and not he died.
४५परन्तु लोगों ने शाऊल से कहा, “क्या योनातान मारा जाए, जिसने इस्राएलियों का ऐसा बड़ा छुटकारा किया है? ऐसा न होगा! यहोवा के जीवन की शपथ, उसके सिर का एक बाल भी भूमि पर गिरने न पाएगा; क्योंकि आज के दिन उसने परमेश्वर के साथ होकर काम किया है।” तब प्रजा के लोगों ने योनातान को बचा लिया, और वह मारा न गया।
46 And he went up Saul from after [the] Philistines and [the] Philistines they went to own place their.
४६तब शाऊल पलिश्तियों का पीछा छोड़कर लौट गया; और पलिश्ती भी अपने स्थान को चले गए।
47 And Saul he had taken the kingship over Israel and he waged war all around - against all enemies his against Moab - and against [the] people of Ammon and against Edom and against [the] kings of Zobah and against the Philistines and in every where he turned he acted wickedly.
४७जब शाऊल इस्राएलियों के राज्य में स्थिर हो गया, तब वह मोआबी, अम्मोनी, एदोमी, और पलिश्ती, अपने चारों ओर के सब शत्रुओं से, और सोबा के राजाओं से लड़ा; और जहाँ-जहाँ वह जाता वहाँ जय पाता था।
48 And he did strength and he defeated Amalek and he delivered Israel from [the] hand of [those who] plundered it.
४८फिर उसने वीरता करके अमालेकियों को जीता, और इस्राएलियों को लूटनेवालों के हाथ से छुड़ाया।
49 And they were [the] sons of Saul Jonathan and Ishvi and Malki-Shua and [the] name of [the] two daughters his [the] name of the firstborn [was] Merab and [the] name of the young [one] [was] Michal.
४९शाऊल के पुत्र योनातान, यिश्वी, और मल्कीशूअ थे; और उसकी दो बेटियों के नाम ये थे, बड़ी का नाम तो मेरब और छोटी का नाम मीकल था।
50 And [the] name of [the] wife of Saul [was] Ahinoam [the] daughter of Ahimaaz and [the] name of [the] commander of army his [was] Abner [the] son of Ner [the] uncle of Saul.
५०और शाऊल की स्त्री का नाम अहीनोअम था जो अहीमास की बेटी थी। उसके प्रधान सेनापति का नाम अब्नेर था जो शाऊल के चाचा नेर का पुत्र था।
51 And Kish [was] [the] father of Saul and Ner [the] father of Abner [was] [the] son of Abiel.
५१शाऊल का पिता कीश था, और अब्नेर का पिता नेर अबीएल का पुत्र था।
52 And it was the war severe on [the] Philistines all [the] days of Saul and he saw Saul every man mighty and every son of strength and he gathered him to himself.
५२शाऊल जीवन भर पलिश्तियों से संग्राम करता रहा; जब जब शाऊल को कोई वीर या अच्छा योद्धा दिखाई पड़ा तब-तब उसने उसे अपने पास रख लिया।
