1 Peter 1
1 Peter an apostle of Jesus Christ To [the] elect sojourners of [the] Dispersion of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

2 according to [the] foreknowledge of God [the] Father by [the] sanctification of [the] Spirit unto [the] obedience and sprinkling of [the] blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace would be multiplied.

3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of the Lord of us Jesus Christ, the [One] according to the great of Him mercy having begotten again us to a hope living through [the] resurrection of Jesus Christ out from [the] dead,

4 to an inheritance imperishable and undefiled and unfading reserved in [the] heavens for (you *NK(O)*)
xuqujeꞌ kaqakꞌamawaꞌj ri qechabꞌal ri man katukin taj, man chꞌuluj taj, xuqujeꞌ man sachel taj uwach. Ri echabꞌal riꞌ, yaktal chiꞌwe pa ri kaj.
5 who by [the] power of God [are] being guarded through faith for [the] salvation ready to be revealed in [the] time last;
Rumal cher ix riꞌ ri ixchajitalik rumal ri ukwinem ri Dios rumal ri ikojobꞌal kꞌa chopan na ri qꞌij are kakꞌut chiꞌwach ri kolotajem pa taq ri kꞌisbꞌal taq qꞌij.
6 in which you greatly rejoice for a little while at present, if being necessary it is, (having been put to grief *NK(o)*) by various trials
Rumal waꞌ rajawaxik kixkiꞌkotik, pune iriqom kꞌi uwach kꞌaxkꞌolal, pa taq we qꞌij kamik.
7 so that the proven genuineness of your faith (more precious *N(k)O*) than gold which is perishing through fire though being refined it may be discovered towards praise and (towards *o*) glory and honor in [the] revelation of Jesus Christ;

8 whom not (having seen *N(k)O*) you love, on whom now [though] not seeing believing now (you yourself rejoice *NK(o)*) with joy inexpressible and glory-filled,
Ri ix kiloqꞌaj ri Jesucristo pune man iwilom uwach, kikojo chi kꞌolik, xuqujeꞌ sibꞌalaj kajuluwik ri ikiꞌkotemal.
9 receiving the outcome of the faith of you, [the] salvation of [your] souls;
Jeriꞌ, rumal tajin kikꞌamawaꞌj ri ikolotajem rumal ri ikojobꞌal.
10 Concerning this salvation sought out and searched out diligently [the] prophets of the toward you grace having prophesied,
Ri e qꞌalajisal taq utzij ri Dios xkitzijoj ri toqꞌobꞌ ri yaktalik ri kaya na chiꞌwe, aꞌreꞌ xkisolij rij jas ubꞌanik we koltajem riꞌ.
11 inquiring into what or what manner of time was signifying the in them Spirit of Christ testifying beforehand unto Christ's sufferings and the after these glories;
Are xkaj xkichꞌobꞌ rij jachike qꞌotaj xuqujeꞌ jas taq riꞌ ri kꞌaxal ri kubꞌij ri Uxlabꞌixel rech ri Cristo, ri kꞌo chike aꞌreꞌ. Ri Uxlabꞌixel xubꞌij chike jas ri kꞌax ri kuriq na ri Cristo xuqujeꞌ ri juluwem ri kape na.
12 to whom it was revealed that not themselves (you *N(K)O*) however they were serving in those things which now have been proclaimed to you through those having evangelised you by [the] Spirit Holy having been sent from heaven, into which desire angels to look.

13 Therefore having girded up the loins of the mind of you, being sober-minded, fully do set [your] hope upon which is being brought to you grace in [the] revelation of Jesus Christ.

14 as children of obedience not fashioning yourselves to the former in the ignorance of you desires,
Chixnimanoq jetaq ri kakibꞌan ri akꞌalabꞌ are kenimanik, man je ta kixnoꞌjinik jetaq ri kixnoꞌjin kanoq nabꞌe are kꞌamajaꞌ iwetaꞌmabꞌal.
15 But as the [One] having called you [is] holy also yourselves holy in all [your] conduct do be,
Man kixmakun taj, rumal cher ri Dios ri xixsikꞌin apanoq tyoxalaj Dios.
16 because it has been written: (that *no*) Holy (you will be, *N(k)(o)*) because I myself holy (am. *NK*)
Ri tzꞌibꞌatalik kubꞌij: Chitasa iwibꞌ che ri mak jetaq ri in nutasom wibꞌ che ri mak.
17 And if [as] Father you call on the [One] impartially judging according to the of each work, in fear during the of the sojourn of you time do conduct yourselves;
Jeriꞌ rumal cher are kibꞌij iTat che ri kakwinik kuqꞌat tzij pa kiwiꞌ konojel, chimochꞌo bꞌa iwibꞌ rumal cher xaq ix ikꞌowel choch ri uwachulew.
18 knowing that not by perishable things — by silver or by gold — you were redeemed from the futile of you manner of life handed down from [your] fathers,
Iwetaꞌm chi xa xixesax loq pa ri kꞌaslemal ri xiwechabꞌej kanoq chike ri itat inan ojer. Man qꞌana pwaq man saq pwaq taj xloqꞌbꞌex iwe,
19 but by [the] precious blood as of a lamb without blemish and without spot of Christ,
xane rukꞌ ri jeꞌl laj ukikꞌel ri Cristo ri paqal rajil, kajunumataj rukꞌ ri ukikꞌel ri jun laj chij ri man kꞌo ta uyabꞌ xuqujeꞌ man chꞌuluj taj.
20 foreknown indeed before [the] foundation [the] world, having been revealed however in ([this] last *N(k)O*) of the times for the sake of you
Are waꞌ ri Cristo ri xuchapleꞌj itoꞌik pa taq we kꞌisbꞌal taq qꞌij riꞌ, ri xchaꞌloq rumal ri Dios are majoꞌq katiktaj loq ri uwachulew.
21 who through Him (believing *N(k)O*) in God, the [one] having raised up Him out from [the] dead and glory Him having given, so as for the faith of you and hope to be in God.
Xa rumal ri Jesús, kikojo chi ri Dios xukꞌastajisaj ri Jesús xuqujeꞌ xunimarisaj uqꞌij, rumal laꞌ wetaꞌm chi ri ikojobꞌal xuqujeꞌ ri kuꞌlibꞌal ikꞌuꞌx jeqel chirij ri Dios.
22 The souls of you having purified by obedience to the truth (through spirit *K*) unto brotherly love sincere out of purity of heart one another do love fervently;
Kamik kꞌut chi ixchꞌajchꞌoj chik rumal xinimaj ri qas tzij, pa ri Uxlabꞌixel, qas chiloqꞌaj iwibꞌ rukꞌ ronojel iwanimaꞌ xuqujeꞌ rukꞌ ronojel ichuqꞌabꞌ.
23 born again not of seed perishable but of imperishable through [the] word living of God and abiding (into the age; *K*) (aiōn g165)

24 because All flesh [is] like grass, and all [the] glory (of it *N(K)O*) like [the] flower of grass; Withers the grass, and the flower (of him *K*) falls away;
Konojel ri winaq xaq jer e kꞌo qꞌayes, ri kijeꞌlal junam rukꞌ ri kotzꞌiꞌj ri kakꞌiy cho ri saq; are kachaqiꞌjar ri qꞌayes katzaq ri ukotzꞌiꞌjal.
