1 Peter 1
1 Peter an apostle of Jesus Christ To [the] elect sojourners of [the] Dispersion of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
Peter, Jesu Kristi apostel, til dei utlendingar som er spreidde i Pontus, Galatia, Kappadokia, Asia og Bitynia, utvalde
2 according to [the] foreknowledge of God [the] Father by [the] sanctification of [the] Spirit unto [the] obedience and sprinkling of [the] blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace would be multiplied.
etter Gud Faders fyrevitende ved Andens helging til lydnad og yverskvetting med Jesu Kristi blod: Nåde og fred vere med dykk i rikt mål!
3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of the Lord of us Jesus Christ, the [One] according to the great of Him mercy having begotten again us to a hope living through [the] resurrection of Jesus Christ out from [the] dead,
Lova vere Gud og vår Herre Jesu Kristi Fader, han som etter si store miskunn hev atterfødt oss til ei livande von ved Jesu Kristi uppstoda frå dei daude,
4 to an inheritance imperishable and undefiled and unfading reserved in [the] heavens for (you *NK(O)*)
til ein uforgjengeleg og flekklaus og uvisneleg arv, som er gøymd i himmelen åt dykk,
5 who by [the] power of God [are] being guarded through faith for [the] salvation ready to be revealed in [the] time last;
de som ved Guds magt vert upphaldne ved trui til den frelsa som er ferdig til å verta openberra i den siste tid.
6 in which you greatly rejoice for a little while at present, if being necessary it is, (having been put to grief *NK(o)*) by various trials
Det gled de dykk yver, um de og no ei lita stund - når so skal vera - er sorgtyngde i ymse freistingar,
7 so that the proven genuineness of your faith (more precious *N(k)O*) than gold which is perishing through fire though being refined it may be discovered towards praise and (towards *o*) glory and honor in [the] revelation of Jesus Christ;
so dykkar prøvde tru, som er mykje kostelegare enn det forgjengelege gull, som de veit vert prøvt i eld, må verta funni til lov og pris og æra i Jesu Kristi openberring,
8 whom not (having seen *N(k)O*) you love, on whom now [though] not seeing believing now (you yourself rejoice *NK(o)*) with joy inexpressible and glory-filled,
han som de ikkje hev kjent, men endå elskar, han som de no ikkje ser, men endå trur på og gled dykk med usegjeleg og herleggjord gleda,
9 receiving the outcome of the faith of you, [the] salvation of [your] souls;
når de vinn fram til målet for trui, frelsa for sjælerne.
10 Concerning this salvation sought out and searched out diligently [the] prophets of the toward you grace having prophesied,
Um denne frelsa var det profetarne granska og grunda, dei som spådde um den nåde de skulde få,
11 inquiring into what or what manner of time was signifying the in them Spirit of Christ testifying beforehand unto Christ's sufferings and the after these glories;
med di dei grunda på kva tid eller kva slag tid Kristi Ande som var i deim, viste fram til, når han vitna fyreåt um Kristi lidingar og um herlegdomen deretter;
12 to whom it was revealed that not themselves (you *N(K)O*) however they were serving in those things which now have been proclaimed to you through those having evangelised you by [the] Spirit Holy having been sent from heaven, into which desire angels to look.
for det var deim openberra, at dei tente ikkje seg sjølve, men oss med dette som no er kunngjort dykk ved deim som hev forkynt dykk evangeliet ved den Heilage Ande, som vart send frå himmelen - dette som englarne hev hug til å skoda inn i.
13 Therefore having girded up the loins of the mind of you, being sober-minded, fully do set [your] hope upon which is being brought to you grace in [the] revelation of Jesus Christ.
Difor, umgyrd dykkar hugs lender, ver ædrue og set dykkar von fullt og fast til den nåde som de fær tilførd ved Jesu Kristi openberring!
14 as children of obedience not fashioning yourselves to the former in the ignorance of you desires,
Som lyduge born skal de ikkje skikka dykk etter dei fyrre lysterne i dykkar vankunna,
15 But as the [One] having called you [is] holy also yourselves holy in all [your] conduct do be,
men ver, etter den Heilage som kalla dykk, ogso de heilage i all dykkar ferd!
16 because it has been written: (that *no*) Holy (you will be, *N(k)(o)*) because I myself holy (am. *NK*)
for det stend skrive: «De skal vera heilage, for eg er heilag!»
17 And if [as] Father you call on the [One] impartially judging according to the of each work, in fear during the of the sojourn of you time do conduct yourselves;
Og når de påkallar honom som Fader, som dømer utan å gjera skilnad, etter kvar manns gjerning, so ferdast med otte den tid de liver i utlendingskapen;
18 knowing that not by perishable things — by silver or by gold — you were redeemed from the futile of you manner of life handed down from [your] fathers,
for de veit at de ikkje med forgjengelege ting, sylv eller gull, vart frikjøpte frå dykkar fåfengde ferd, som de hadde ervt ifrå federne,
19 but by [the] precious blood as of a lamb without blemish and without spot of Christ,
men med Kristi dyre blod, som blodet av eit ulastelegt og lytelaust lamb.
20 foreknown indeed before [the] foundation [the] world, having been revealed however in ([this] last *N(k)O*) of the times for the sake of you
Han var kjend fyreåt, fyrr verdi vart grunnlagd, men vart openberra i dei siste tider for dykkar skuld,
21 who through Him (believing *N(k)O*) in God, the [one] having raised up Him out from [the] dead and glory Him having given, so as for the faith of you and hope to be in God.
de som ved honom trur på Gud, som vekte honom upp frå dei daude og gav honom herlegdom, so trui dykkar og er von til Gud.
22 The souls of you having purified by obedience to the truth (through spirit *K*) unto brotherly love sincere out of purity of heart one another do love fervently;
Reinsa sjælerne dykkar i lydnad mot sanningi til uskrymta broderkjærleik, og elska kvarandre inderleg av hjarta,
23 born again not of seed perishable but of imperishable through [the] word living of God and abiding (into the age; *K*) (aiōn g165)
de som er atterfødde, ikkje av forgjengelegt, men uforgjengelegt sæde, ved Guds ord, som liver og varer! (aiōn g165)
24 because All flesh [is] like grass, and all [the] glory (of it *N(K)O*) like [the] flower of grass; Withers the grass, and the flower (of him *K*) falls away;
For alt kjøt er som gras, og all herlegdomen hjå det som blom på gras. Graset visna, og blomen på det fall av.
