1 Kings 1
1 And the king David he was old he had come in days and they covered him with clothes and not it was warm to him.
El rey David era ya viejo y entrado en años, y lo cubrían con ropas, pero no podía calentarse.
2 And they said to him servants his let people seek for lord my the king a young woman a virgin and she will stand before the king and let her be of him a nurse and she will lie in bosom your and it will be warm to lord my the king.
Por lo tanto, sus siervos le dijeron: “Que se busque una joven virgen para mi señor el rey. Que se ponga delante del rey y lo abrigue, y que se acueste en su seno, para que mi señor el rey se abrigue”.
3 And they sought a young woman beautiful in all [the] territory of Israel and they found Abishag the Shunammite and they brought her to the king.
Así que buscaron a una joven hermosa por todos los confines de Israel, y encontraron a Abisag la sunamita, y la llevaron ante el rey.
4 And the young woman [was] beautiful up to muchness and she became of the king a nurse and she served him and the king not he knew her.
La joven era muy hermosa, y se puso al servicio del rey, pero el rey no la conocía íntimamente.
5 And Adonijah [the] son of Haggith [was] exalting himself saying I I will become king and he acquired for himself a chariot and horsemen and fifty man [were] running before him.
Entonces Adonías, hijo de Haggit, se exaltó diciendo: “Seré rey”. Entonces le preparó carros y jinetes, y cincuenta hombres para que corrieran delante de él.
6 And not he had rebuked him father his from days his saying why? thus have you done and also he [was] good of appearance very and him someone bore after Absalom.
Su padre no le había disgustado en ningún momento diciéndole: “¿Por qué lo has hecho?”, y además era un hombre muy apuesto; y había nacido después de Absalón.
7 And they were words his with Joab [the] son of Zeruiah and with Abiathar the priest and they helped after Adonijah.
Se puso de acuerdo con Joab, hijo de Sarvia, y con el sacerdote Abiatar, y ellos siguieron a Adonías y lo ayudaron.
8 And Zadok the priest and Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada and Nathan the prophet and Shimei and Rei and the mighty [men] who [belonged] to David not they were with Adonijah.
Pero el sacerdote Sadoc, Benaía hijo de Joiada, el profeta Natán, Simei, Rei y los valientes que pertenecían a David, no estaban con Adonías.
9 And he sacrificed Adonijah sheep and cattle and fatling near [the] stone of Zoheleth which [was] beside En Rogel and he invited all brothers his [the] sons of the king and all [the] men of Judah [the] servants of the king.
Adonías mató ovejas, vacas y animales cebados junto a la piedra de Zohelet, que está al lado de En Rogel; y llamó a todos sus hermanos, los hijos del rey, y a todos los hombres de Judá, los servidores del rey;
10 And Nathan the prophet and Benaiah and the mighty [men] and Solomon brother his not he invited.
pero no llamó al profeta Natán, ni a Benaía, ni a los valientes, ni a su hermano Salomón.
11 And he said Nathan to Bath-sheba [the] mother of Solomon saying ¿ not have you heard that he has become king Adonijah [the] son of Haggith and lord our David not he knows.
Entonces Natán habló a Betsabé, madre de Salomón, diciendo: “¿No has oído que Adonías, hijo de Haggit, reina, y que nuestro señor David no lo sabe?
12 And therefore come let me counsel you please counsel and save life your and [the] life of son your Solomon.
Ahora, pues, ven, déjame que te aconseje, para que salves tu vida y la de tu hijo Salomón.
13 Come and go - to the king David and you will say to him ¿ not you O lord my the king did you swear an oath to maidservant your saying that Solomon son your he will reign after me and he he will sit on throne my and why? has he become king Adonijah.
Entra al rey David y dile: “¿No juraste tú, mi señor el rey, a tu siervo, diciendo: “Ciertamente tu hijo Salomón reinará después de mí y se sentará en mi trono”? ¿Por qué, pues, reina Adonías?’
14 There! still you [are] speaking there with the king and I I will come after you and I will confirm words your.
Mira, mientras aún estás hablando allí con el rey, yo también entraré después de ti y confirmaré tus palabras.”
15 And she went Bath-sheba to the king the room towards and the king he was old very and Abishag the Shunammite [was] serving the king.
Betsabé entró en la habitación del rey. El rey era muy anciano, y Abisag la sunamita servía al rey.
16 And she bowed low Bath-sheba and she bowed down to the king and he said the king what? [is] to you.
Betsabé se inclinó y mostró respeto al rey. El rey le dijo: “¿Qué quieres?”.
17 And she said to him O lord my you you swore an oath by Yahweh God your to maidservant your that Solomon son your he will reign after me and he he will sit on throne my.
Ella le dijo: “Señor mío, tú juraste por Yahvé tu Dios a tu siervo: ‘Ciertamente tu hijo Salomón reinará después de mí y se sentará en mi trono’.
18 And now here! Adonijah he has become king and now O lord my the king not you know.
Ahora, he aquí que Adonías reina, y tú, mi señor el rey, no lo sabes.
19 And he has sacrificed ox[en] and fatling and sheep to abundance and he has invited all [the] sons of the king and Abiathar the priest and Joab [the] commander of the army and Solomon servant your not he has invited.
Ha matado ganado, animales gordos y ovejas en abundancia, y ha llamado a todos los hijos del rey, al sacerdote Abiatar y a Joab, capitán del ejército; pero no ha llamado a Salomón, tu siervo.
20 And you O lord my the king [the] eyes of all Israel [are] on you to tell to them who? will he sit on [the] throne of lord my the king after him.
Tú, mi señor el rey, los ojos de todo Israel están puestos en ti, para que les digas quién se sentará en el trono de mi señor el rey después de él.
21 And it will be when lies down lord my the king with ancestors his and I will be I and son my Solomon sinners.
De lo contrario, cuando mi señor el rey duerma con sus padres, yo y mi hijo Salomón seremos considerados criminales.”
22 And there! still she [was] speaking with the king and Nathan the prophet he came.
Mientras ella seguía hablando con el rey, entró el profeta Natán.
23 And people told to the king saying here! Nathan the prophet and he came before the king and he bowed down to the king on face his [the] ground towards.
Se lo comunicaron al rey, diciendo: “He aquí el profeta Natán”. Cuando entró ante el rey, se inclinó ante él con el rostro en tierra.
24 And he said Nathan O lord my the king you have you said? Adonijah he will reign after me and he he will sit on throne my.
Natán le dijo: “Rey, señor mío, ¿has dicho que Adonías reinará después de mí y que se sentará en mi trono?”
25 For - he has gone down this day and he has sacrificed ox[en] and fatling and sheep to abundance and he has invited all [the] sons of the king and [the] commanders of the army and Abiathar the priest and there they [are] eating and drinking before him and they have said may he live the king Adonijah.
Porque hoy ha bajado y ha matado ganado, animales gordos y ovejas en abundancia, y ha llamado a todos los hijos del rey, a los capitanes del ejército y al sacerdote Abiatar. He aquí que están comiendo y bebiendo delante de él, y diciendo: “¡Viva el rey Adonías!”
26 And me I servant your and Zadok the priest and Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada and Solomon servant your not he has invited.
Pero no me ha llamado a mí, ni a tu siervo el sacerdote Sadoc, ni a Benaía hijo de Joiada, ni a tu siervo Salomón.
27 From with lord my the king has it occurred the matter this and not you made known (servant your *Q(K)*) who? will he sit on [the] throne of lord my the king after him.
¿Acaso ha hecho esto mi señor el rey, y no has mostrado a tus siervos quién debe sentarse en el trono de mi señor el rey después de él?”
28 And he answered the king David and he said summon for me Bath-sheba and she came before the king and she stood before the king.
El rey David respondió: “Llama a Betsabé”. Ella vino a la presencia del rey y se puso de pie ante el rey.
29 And he swore an oath the king and he said [by] [the] life of Yahweh who he has ransomed life my from every trouble.
El rey hizo un voto y dijo: “Vive Yahvé, que ha redimido mi alma de toda adversidad,
30 For just as I swore to you by Yahweh [the] God of Israel saying that Solomon son your he will reign after me and he he will sit on throne my in place of me for so I will do the day this.
ciertamente, como te juré por Yahvé, el Dios de Israel, diciendo: ‘Ciertamente tu hijo Salomón reinará después de mí, y se sentará en mi trono en mi lugar’; ciertamente lo haré hoy.”
31 And she bowed low Bath-sheba face ground and she bowed down to the king and she said may he live lord my the king David for ever.
Entonces Betsabé se inclinó con el rostro hacia la tierra y mostró respeto al rey, y dijo: “¡Viva mi señor el rey David para siempre!”
32 And he said - the king David summon for me Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet and Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada and they came before the king.
El rey David dijo: “Llama a mí al sacerdote Sadoc, al profeta Natán y a Benaía, hijo de Joiada”. Ellos se presentaron ante el rey.
33 And he said the king to them take with you [the] servants of lord your and you will cause to ride Solomon son my on the mule which [belongs] to me and you will take down him to Gihon.
El rey les dijo: “Llevad con vosotros a los siervos de vuestro señor, y haced que mi hijo Salomón monte en mi propia mula, y llevadlo a Gihón.
34 And he will anoint him there Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet to king over Israel and you will give a blast on the ram's horn and you will say may he live the king Solomon.
Que el sacerdote Sadoc y el profeta Natán lo unjan allí como rey de Israel. Tocad la trompeta y decid: “¡Viva el rey Salomón!
35 And you will come up after him and he will come and he will sit on throne my and he he will reign in place of me and him I have appointed to be ruler over Israel and over Judah.
Sube después de él, y vendrá y se sentará en mi trono; porque él será rey en mi lugar. Yo lo he designado para que sea príncipe sobre Israel y sobre Judá”.
36 And he answered Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada the king and he said - amen thus may he say Yahweh [the] God of lord my the king.
Benaía, hijo de Joiada, respondió al rey y dijo: “Amén. Que Yahvé, el Dios de mi señor el rey, lo diga.
37 Just as he has been Yahweh with lord my the king so (he will be *Q(K)*) with Solomon and may he make great throne his more than [the] throne of lord my the king David.
Como Yahvé ha estado con mi señor el rey, así esté con Salomón, y haga su trono más grande que el trono de mi señor el rey David.”
38 And he went down Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet and Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada and the Kerethite[s] and the Pelethite[s] and they caused to ride Solomon on [the] mule of the king David and they brought him to Gihon.
Entonces el sacerdote Sadoc, el profeta Natán, Benaía hijo de Joiada, y los queretanos y los peletanos, bajaron e hicieron montar a Salomón en la mula del rey David, y lo llevaron a Gihón.
39 And he took Zadok the priest [the] horn of oil from the tent and he anointed Solomon and they gave a blast on the ram's horn and they said all the people may he live the king Solomon.
El sacerdote Sadoc tomó el cuerno de aceite de la Tienda y ungió a Salomón. Tocaron la trompeta, y todo el pueblo dijo: “¡Viva el rey Salomón!”.
40 And they went up all the people after him and the people [were] playing [the] flute with flutes and joyful joy great and it was split open the earth by noise their.
Todo el pueblo subió detrás de él, y el pueblo tocó la flauta y se alegró mucho, de modo que la tierra tembló con su sonido.
41 And he heard Adonijah and all those [who] were invited who [were] with him and they they had finished to eat and he heard Joab [the] sound of the ram's horn and he said why? [is] [the] sound of the town in an uproar.
Adonías y todos los invitados que estaban con él lo oyeron al terminar de comer. Cuando Joab oyó el sonido de la trompeta, dijo: “¿Por qué este ruido de la ciudad alborotada?”
42 Still he [was] speaking and there! Jonathan [the] son of Abiathar the priest he came and he said Adonijah come for [are] a man of worth you and good you bear news.
Mientras él aún hablaba, he aquí que llegó Jonatán, hijo del sacerdote Abiatar, y Adonías le dijo: “Entra, porque eres un hombre digno y traes buenas noticias.”
43 And he answered Jonathan and he said to Adonijah indeed lord our the king David he has made king Solomon.
Jonatán respondió a Adonías: “Ciertamente nuestro señor el rey David ha hecho rey a Salomón.
44 And he has sent with him the king Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet and Benaiah [the] son of Jehoiada and the Kerethite[s] and the Pelethite[s] and they have caused to ride him on [the] mule of the king.
El rey ha enviado con él al sacerdote Sadoc, al profeta Natán, a Benaía hijo de Joiada, a los cereteos y a los peleteos, y lo han hecho montar en la mula del rey.
45 And they have anointed him Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet to king at Gihon and they have gone up from there joyful and it was excited the town that [is] the noise which you have heard.
El sacerdote Sadoc y el profeta Natán lo han ungido como rey en Gihón. Han subido de allí regocijados, de modo que la ciudad volvió a resonar. Este es el ruido que han escuchado.
46 And also he has sat Solomon on [the] throne of royalty.
Además, Salomón está sentado en el trono del reino.
47 And also they have come [the] servants of the king to bless lord our the king David saying may he make good (God *Q(K)*) [the] name of Solomon more than name your and may he make great throne his more than throne your and he bowed down the king on the bed.
Además, los servidores del rey vinieron a bendecir a nuestro señor, el rey David, diciendo: “Que tu Dios haga que el nombre de Salomón sea mejor que tu nombre, y que su trono sea más grande que el tuyo”; y el rey se inclinó sobre el lecho.
48 And also thus he has said the king [be] blessed Yahweh [the] God of Israel who he has given this day [one who] sits on throne my and own eyes my [are] seeing.
También dijo así el rey: ‘Bendito sea Yahvé, el Dios de Israel, que ha dado uno para sentarse hoy en mi trono, viéndolo mis ojos’”.
49 And they trembled and they rose up all those [who] were invited who [belonged] to Adonijah and they went each to way his.
Todos los invitados de Adonías tuvieron miedo, se levantaron y cada uno se fue por su lado.
50 And Adonijah he was afraid of Solomon and he arose and he went and he took hold on [the] horns of the altar.
Adonías tuvo miedo a causa de Salomón, y se levantó y fue a colgarse de los cuernos del altar.
51 And it was told to Solomon saying there! Adonijah he fears the king Solomon and there! he has taken hold on [the] horns of the altar saying let him swear to me as the day the king Solomon if he will put to death servant his by the sword.
Se le dijo a Salomón: “He aquí que Adonías teme al rey Salomón, pues está colgado de los cuernos del altar, diciendo: ‘Que el rey Salomón me jure primero que no matará a su siervo a espada’.”
52 And he said Solomon if he will become a son of worth not it will fall one of hair[s] his [the] ground towards and if evil it will be found in him and he will die.
Salomón dijo: “Si se muestra como un hombre digno, ni un pelo suyo caerá a la tierra; pero si se encuentra maldad en él, morirá.”
53 And he sent the king Solomon and they brought down him from at the altar and he came and he bowed down to the king Solomon and he said to him Solomon go to house your.
Entonces el rey Salomón envió, y lo hicieron bajar del altar. Vino y se inclinó ante el rey Salomón; y éste le dijo: “Vete a tu casa”.
