1 Kings 7
1 And own house his he built Solomon thir-teen year[s] and he completed all house his.
Salomon bâtit aussi sa maison, et l'acheva toute en treize ans.
2 And he built [the] House of - [the] Forest of Lebanon [was] one hundred cubit[s] length its and [was] fifty cubit[s] breadth its and [was] thirty cubit[s] height its on four rows of pillars of cedar and beams of cedar [were] on the pillars.
Il bâtit aussi la maison du parc du Liban, de cent coudées de long, et de cinquante coudées de large, et de trente coudées de haut, sur quatre rangées de colonnes de cèdre; et sur les colonnes il y avait des poutres de cèdre.
3 And [it was] paneled with cedar from above above the side-chambers which [were] on the pillars forty and five fif-teen the row.
Il y avait aussi un couvert de bois de cèdre par dessus les chambres, qui était sur quarante-cinq colonnes, rangées de quinze en quinze.
4 And window frames three rows and window [was] to window three times.
Et il y avait trois rangées de fenêtrages; et une fenêtre répondait à l'autre en trois endroits.
5 And all the openings and the doorposts [were] square frame-work and [the] front window [was] to window three times.
Et toutes les portes et tous les poteaux étaient carrés, avec les fenêtres; et une fenêtre répondait à l'autre vis-à-vis en trois endroits.
6 And [the] porch of the pillars he made [was] fifty cubit[s] length its and [was] thirty cubit[s] breadth its and a porch [was] on face their and pillars and a threshold [were] on face their.
Il fit aussi un porche tout de colonnes, de cinquante coudées de long, et de trente coudées de large; et ce porche était au devant des colonnes [de la maison], de sorte que les colonnes et les poutres étaient au devant d'elles.
7 And [the] porch of the throne where he gave judgment there [the] porch of judgment he made and [it was] paneled with cedar from the floor to the floor.
Il fit aussi un porche pour le trône sur lequel il rendait ses jugements, [appelé] le Porche du jugement, et on le couvrit de cèdre depuis un bout du sol jusqu'à l'autre.
8 And own house his where he dwelt there [the] court other from inside to the porch like the workmanship this it was and a house he made for [the] daughter of Pharaoh whom he had taken Solomon like the porch this.
Et dans sa maison où il demeurait il y avait un autre parvis au dedans du porche, qui était du même ouvrage. Salomon fit aussi à la fille de Pharaon, qu'il avait épousée, une maison [bâtie] comme ce porche.
9 All these [were] stones costly according to measurements of hewn [stone] sawn with saw from inside and from outside and from [the] foundation to the coping stone and from [the] outside to the court great.
Toutes ces choses étaient de pierres de prix, de la même mesure que les pierres de taille, sciées à la scie, en dedans et en dehors, depuis le fond jusqu'aux corniches, et par dehors jusqu'au grand parvis.
10 And [it was] founded stones costly stones large stones of ten cubits and stones of eight cubits.
Le fondement était aussi de pierres de prix, de grandes pierres, des pierres de dix coudées, et des pierres de huit coudées.
11 And [were] from to above stones costly according to measurements of hewn [stone] and cedar.
Et par dessus il y avait des pierres de prix, de la même mesure que les pierres de taille, et que [le bois de] cèdre.
12 And [the] court great [were] all around three rows hewn [stone] and a row of beams of cedar and to [the] court of [the] house of Yahweh inner and to [the] porch of the house.
Et le grand parvis avait aussi tout alentour trois rangées de pierres de taille, et une rangée de poutres de cèdre, comme le parvis de dedans la maison de l'Eternel, et le porche de la maison.
13 And he sent the king Solomon and he brought Hiram from Tyre.
Or le Roi Salomon avait fait venir de Tyr Hiram;
14 [was] a son of A woman a widow he from [the] tribe of Naphtali and father his [was] a man Tyrian a worker of bronze and he was filled the wisdom and the skill and the knowledge to do any work with bronze and he came to the king Solomon and he did all work his.
fils d'une femme veuve de la Tribu de Nephthali, le père duquel était Tyrien, travaillant en cuivre; fort expert, intelligent, et savant pour faire toutes sortes d'ouvrages d'airain; il vint donc vers le Roi Salomon, et fit tout son ouvrage.
15 And he fashioned [the] two the pillars bronze [was] eight-teen cubit[s] [the] height of the pillar one and a line of two [plus] ten cubit[s] it went round the pillar second.
Il fondit deux colonnes d'airain, la hauteur de l'une des colonne était de dix-huit coudées; et un réseau de douze coudées entourait l'autre colonne.
16 And two capitals he made to put on [the] tops of the pillars casting of bronze [was] five cubits [the] height of the capital one and [was] five cubits [the] height of the capital second.
Il fit aussi deux chapiteaux d'airain fondu pour mettre sur les sommets des colonnes; et la hauteur de l'un des chapiteaux était de cinq coudées, et la hauteur de l'autre chapiteau était aussi de cinq coudées.
17 Networks work of a network festoons work of chains [belonged] to the capitals which [were] on [the] top of the pillars seven for the capital one and seven for the capital second.
Il y avait des entrelassures en forme de rets, de filets entortillés en façon de chaînes, pour les chapiteaux qui étaient sur le sommet des colonnes, sept pour l'un des chapiteaux, et sept pour l'autre.
18 And he made the pillars and two rows [were] all around on the network one to cover the capitals which [were] on [the] top of the pomegranates and thus he did for the capital second.
Et il les appropria aux colonnes, avec deux rangs de pommes de grenade sur un rets, tout autour, pour couvrir l'[un] des chapiteaux qui était sur le sommet d'une des colonnes, et il fit la même chose pour l'autre chapiteau.
19 And [the] capitals which [were] on [the] top of the pillars [were] a work of lili[es] in the porch four cubits.
Et les chapiteaux qui étaient sur le sommet des colonnes, étaient en façon de fleurs de lis, hauts de quatre coudées [pour mettre] au porche.
20 And [the] capitals [were] on [the] two the pillars also from above from to near the bulge which [was] to [the] side of (the network *Q(K)*) and the pomegranates two hundred rows [were] all around on the capital second.
Or les chapiteaux étaient sur les deux colonnes, ils étaient, [dis-je], au dessus, depuis l'endroit du ventre qui était au delà du rets. Il y avait aussi deux cents pommes de grenade, [disposées] par rangs tout autour, sur le second chapiteau.
21 And he set up the pillars of [the] porch of the temple and he set up the pillar south and he called name its Jakin and he set up the pillar north and he called name its Boaz.
Il dressa donc les colonnes au porche du Temple, et mit l'une à main droite et la nomma Jakin; et il mit l'autre à main gauche, et la nomma Boaz.
22 And [was] on [the] top of the pillars a work of lili[es] and it was complete [the] work of the pillars.
Et [on posa] sur le chapiteau des colonnes l'ouvrage fait en façon de fleurs de lis; ainsi l'ouvrage des colonnes fut achevé.
23 And he made the sea cast [metal] [was] ten by the cubit from lip its to lip its round - all around and [was] five by the cubit height its (and a measuring-line *Q(K)*) thirty by the cubit it went round it all around.
Il fit aussi une mer de fonte qui avait dix coudées d'un bord à l'autre; ronde tout autour, de cinq coudées de haut; et un cordon de trente coudées l'environnait tout autour.
24 And gourds [were] from under to lip its - all around [they were] surrounding it ten by the cubit [they were] surrounding the sea all around [were] two rows the gourds [they were] cast in casting its.
Et il y avait tout autour, au dessous de son bord des figures de bœufs en relief, qui l'environnaient, dix à chaque coudée, lesquelles entouraient la mer tout autour. [Il y avait] deux rangées de ces figures de bœufs en relief, jetées en fonte.
25 [it was] standing On two [plus] ten ox[en] three [were] turning - north-ward and three [were] turning - west-ward and three - [were] turning [the] south towards and three [were] turning east-ward and the sea [was] on them from to above and all hindquarters their [were] inside towards.
Et elle était posée sur douze bœufs, dont trois regardaient le Septentrion et trois regardaient l'Occident, et trois regardaient le Midi, et trois regardaient l'Orient. La mer était sur leurs dos, et tout le derrière de leurs corps [était tourné] en dedans.
26 And thickness its [was] a hand breadth and lip its [was] like [the] work of [the] lip of a cup [the] blossom of lili[es] two thousand bath[s] it contained.
Son épaisseur était d'une paume, et son bord [était] comme le bord d'une coupe [à façon] de fleurs de lis; elle contenait deux mille baths.
27 And he made the stands ten bronze [was] four by the cubit [the] length of the stand one and [was] four by the cubit breadth its and [was] three by the cubit height its.
Il fit aussi dix soubassements d'airain, ayant chacun quatre coudées de long, et quatre coudées de large, et trois coudées de haut.
28 And this [was] [the] work of the stand rims [belonged] to them and rims [were] between the cross bars.
Or l'ouvrage de [chaque] soubassement était de telle manière, qu'ils avaient des châssis enchâssés entre des embâtements.
29 And [were] on the rims which - [were] between the cross bars lions - ox[en] and cherubim and [was] on the cross bars a base from above and [were] from under to [the] lions and to the ox[en] garlands [the] work of hanging.
Et sur ces châssis, qui étaient entre les embâtements, il y avait des [figures] de lions, de bœufs, et de Chérubins. Et au dessus des embâtements il y avait un bassin sur le haut; et au dessous des [figures de] lions et de bœufs il y avait des corniches faites en pente.
30 And four wheels of bronze [belonged] to the stand one and axles of bronze and four feet its supports [belonged] to them from under to the laver the supports [were] cast [were] from [the] side of each garlands.
Et chaque soubassement avait quatre roues d'airain, avec des ais d'airain; et il y avait aux quatre angles certaines épaulières, qui [se rendaient] au dessous du cuvier au delà de toutes les corniches, sans qu'on s'en aperçût.
31 And opening its [was] from inside to the capital and up-wards by the cubit and opening its [was] round [the] work of a base a cubit and [the] half of cubit and also [were] on opening its carvings and rims their [were] square not round.
Or l'ouverture du cuvier, depuis le dedans du chapiteau en haut, était d'une coudée; mais l'ouverture du chapiteau était ronde de la façon du bassin, et elle était d'une coudée et demie, et sur les châssis de cette ouverture il y avait des gravures; ces ouvertures avaient aussi des châssis carrés, et non pas ronds.
32 And [the] four the wheels [were] to from under to the rims and [the] hands of the wheels [were] on the stand and [the] height of the wheel one [was] a cubit and [the] half of cubit.
Et les quatre roues étaient au dessous des châssis; et les essieux des roues [tenaient] au soubassement; chaque roue avait la hauteur d'une coudée et demie.
33 And [the] work of the wheels [was] like [the] work of wheel of chariot hands their and rims their and spokes their and hubs their everything [was] cast.
Et la façon des roues était selon la façon des roues de chariot; leurs essieux, leurs jantes, leurs moyeux, et leurs rayons étaient tous de fonte.
34 And four supports [were] to [the] four [the] corners of the stand one [were] from the stand supports its.
Il y avait aussi quatre épaulières aux quatre angles de chaque soubassement, qui en [étaient tirées].
35 And at [the] top of the stand half of cubit height round - all around and [were] on [the] top of the stand hands its and rims its [were] from it.
Il y avait aussi au sommet de chaque soubassement une demi-coudée de hauteur, qui était ronde tout autour; de sorte que chaque soubassement avait à son sommet ses tenons et ses châssis, qui en [étaient tirés].
36 And he engraved on the plates of hands its and on (rims its *Q(K)*) cherubim lions and palm trees according to [the] clear space of each and garlands [were] all around.
Puis on grava les ais des tenons, et des châssis de chaque soubassement [de figures] de Chérubins, de lions et de palmes, selon le plan de chaque [tenon, châssis], et corniche tout autour.
37 Like this he made [the] ten the stands a casting one a measurement one a shape one for all of them.
Il fit les dix soubassements de cette même façon, ayant tous une même fonte, une même mesure, et une même entailleure.
38 And he made ten lavers bronze forty bath[s] it contained - the laver one [was] four by the cubit the laver one a laver one [was] on the stand one for [the] ten the stands.
Il fit aussi dix cuviers d'airain, dont chacun contenait quarante baths, [et] chaque cuvier était de quatre coudées, chaque cuvier était sur chacun des dix soubassements.
39 And he put the stands five on [the] side of the house from [the] south and five on [the] side of the house from left its and the sea he put from [the] side of the house south east-ward from in front of [the] south.
Et on mit cinq soubassements au côté droit du Temple, et cinq au côté gauche du Temple; et on plaça la mer au côté droit du Temple, tirant vers l'µOrient du côté du Midi.
40 And he made Hiram the lavers and the shovels and the bowls and he finished Hiram to do all the work which he did for the king Solomon [the] house of Yahweh.
Ainsi Hiram fit des cuviers, et des racloirs, et des bassins, et il acheva de faire tout l'ouvrage qu'il faisait au Roi Salomon pour le Temple de l'Eternel.
41 Pillars two and [the] bowls of the capitals which [were] on [the] top of the pillars two and the networks two to cover [the] two [the] bowls of the capitals which [were] on [the] top of the pillars.
[Savoir], deux colonnes, et les deux bassins des chapiteaux qui étaient sur le sommet des colonnes; et deux réseaux pour couvrir les deux bassins qui étaient sur le sommet des colonnes;
42 And the pomegranates four hundred for [the] two the networks two rows pomegranates [belonged] to the network one to cover [the] two [the] bowls of the capitals which [were] on [the] face of the pillars.
Et quatre cents pommes de grenade pour les deux réseaux, de sorte [qu'il y avait] deux rangées de pommes de grenade pour chaque réseau, afin de couvrir les deux bassins des chapiteaux, qui étaient sur les colonnes;
43 And the stands ten and the lavers ten on the stands.
Dix soubassements; et dix cuviers [pour mettre] sur les soubassements;
44 And the sea one and the ox[en] two [plus] ten under the sea.
Et une mer, et douze bœufs sous la mer;
45 And the pots and the shovels and the bowls and all the utensils (the these *Q(K)*) which he made Hiram for the king Solomon [the] house of Yahweh bronze polished.
Et des chaudrons, et des racloirs, et des bassins. Tous ces vaisseaux que Hiram fit au Roi Salomon pour le Temple de l'Eternel, étaient d'airain poli.
46 In [the] valley of the Jordan he cast them the king in [the] mold of the ground between Succoth and between Zarethan.
Le Roi les fit fondre en la plaine du Jourdain, dans une terre grasse, entre Succoth et Tsartan.
47 And he left Solomon all the utensils from abundance very very not it was ascertained [the] weight of the bronze.
Et Salomon ne pesa aucun de ces vaisseaux, parce qu'ils étaient en fort grand nombre; de sorte qu'on ne rechercha point le poids du cuivre.
48 And he made Solomon all the utensils which [were] [the] house of Yahweh [the] altar of gold and the table which [was] on it [the] bread of the presence gold.
Salomon fit aussi tous les ustensiles pour le Temple de l'Eternel, [savoir] l'autel d'or, et les tables d'or, sur lesquelles étaient les pains de proposition;
49 And the lampstands five from [the] right and five from [the] left before the innermost room gold pure gold and the blossom and the lamps and the tongs gold.
Et cinq chandeliers de fin or à main droite, et cinq à main gauche devant l'Oracle, et les fleurs et les lampes, et les pincettes d'or;
50 And the basins and the snuffers and the bowls and the pans and the fire-pans gold pure gold and the sockets for [the] doors of the house inner to [the] holy place of the holy places for [the] doors of the house of the temple gold.
Et les coupes, les serpes, les bassins, les tasses, et les encensoirs de fin or. Les gonds même des portes de la maison de dedans, [c'est-à-dire], du lieu Très-saint, [et] des portes de la maison, [c'est-à-dire] du Temple, étaient d'or.
51 And it was complete all the work which he did the king Solomon [the] house of Yahweh and he brought Solomon [the] holy things of - David father his the silver and the gold and the utensils he put [them] in [the] treasuries of [the] house of Yahweh.
Ainsi tout l'ouvrage que le Roi Salomon fit pour la maison de l'Eternel fut achevé; puis il y fit apporter ce que David son père avait consacré, l'argent et l'or, et les vaisseaux, et le mit dans les trésors de la maison de l'Eternel.
