1 Kings 6
1 And it was in eighty year and four hundred year of [the] coming out of [the] people of Israel from [the] land of Egypt in the year fourth in [the] month of Ziv that [was] the month second of [the] reigning of Solomon over Israel and he built the house for Yahweh.
Cuatrocientos ochenta años después de que los israelitas salieran de Egipto, en el cuarto año del reinado del rey Salomón, en el mes de Zif, Salomón comenzó a construir el Templo del Señor.
2 And the house which he built the king Solomon for Yahweh [was] sixty cubit[s] length its and [was] twenty breadth its and [was] thirty cubit[s] height its.
El Templo que el rey Salomón construyó para el Señor medía sesenta codos de largo por veinte de ancho y treinta de alto.
3 And the porch on [the] face of [the] temple of the house [was] twenty cubit[s] length its on [the] face of [the] breadth of the house [was] ten by the cubit breadth its on [the] face of the house.
La sala de entrada en la parte delantera del Templo tenía veinte codos de ancho. Tenía todo el ancho del Templo y sobresalía diez codos por delante del mismo.
4 And he made for the house windows of frames shut.
Mandó hacer ventanas enrejadas para colocarlas en lo alto del Templo.
5 And he built on [the] wall of the house (an extension *Q(K)*) all around [the] walls of the house around the temple and the innermost room and he made side-chambers all around.
También mandó construir una estructura contra el muro exterior del Templo, tanto en el santuario exterior como en el interior, para disponer de una serie de habitaciones laterales.
6 (The extension *Q(K)*) lower [was] five by the cubit breadth its and the middle [extension] [was] six by the cubit breadth its and third [extension] [was] seven by the cubit breadth its for ledges he made for the house around [the] outside towards to not to have hold in [the] walls of the house.
La planta baja medía cinco codos de ancho, el primer piso seis codos y el segundo siete codos. Además, mandó colocar repisas a lo largo de todo el exterior, para no tener que introducir vigas en los muros del Templo.
7 And the house when was built it stone perfect quarry it was built and hammers and axe any article of iron not it was heard in the house when was built it.
Cuando se construyó el Templo, las piedras se terminaron en la cantera para que no se oyera en el Templo el ruido de ningún martillo, hacha o cualquier herramienta de hierro durante la construcción.
8 [the] entrance of The side-chamber middle [was] to [the] side of the house south and by stairs people went up to the middle and from the middle to the thirty.
La entrada a la planta baja estaba en el lado sur del Templo. Las escaleras conducían al primer piso, y luego al segundo.
9 And he built the house and he finished it and he covered the house beams and planks with cedar.
Salomón terminó de construir el Templo, cubriéndolo con un techo de vigas y tablas de cedro.
10 And he built (the extension *Q(K)*) on all the house [was] five cubits height its and he covered the house with wood of cedar.
Construyó la estructura externa a lo largo de todo el Templo. Tenía una altura de cinco codos, unida al Templo con vigas de madera de cedro.
11 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Solomon saying.
El Señor envió este mensaje a Salomón, diciéndole:
12 The house this which you [are] building if you will walk in statutes my and judgments my you will observe and you will keep all commandments my to walk in them and I will establish word my with you which I spoke to David father your.
“Sobre este Templo que estás construyendo: si sigues lo que te he dicho, cumpliendo mis requisitos y guardando mis mandamientos en lo que haces, cumpliré la promesa que le hice a tu padre David por medio de ti.
13 And I will dwell in among [the] people of Israel and not I will abandon people my Israel.
Viviré entre los israelitas y no abandonaré a Israel, mi pueblo”.
14 And he built Solomon the house and he finished it.
Salomón terminó de construir el Templo.
15 And he built [the] walls of the house from inside with boards of cedar from [the] floor of the house to [the] walls of the ceiling he overlaid wood from inside and he overlaid [the] floor of the house with boards of cypresses.
Forró las paredes con paneles de cedro desde el suelo hasta el techo y cubrió el suelo del Templo con tablas de ciprés.
16 And he built twenty cubit[s] (from [the] innermost parts of *Q(k)*) the house with boards of cedar from the floor to the walls and he built for it from inside to an innermost room to [the] holy place of the holy places.
En la parte de atrás del Templo, separó veinte codos con tablas de cedro desde el suelo hasta el techo, haciendo un santuario interior como el Lugar Santísimo.
17 And forty by the cubit it was the house that [is] the temple before me.
El Templo principal, frente a esta sala, medía cuarenta codos de largo.
18 And cedar [was] to the house within carving of gourds and spread out [things] of flowers everything [was] cedar not stone [was] visible.
Los paneles de cedro del interior del Templo estaban decorados con tallas de calabazas y flores abiertas. Todo estaba revestido de cedro; no se veía nada de la piedra.
19 And an innermost room in [the] middle of the house from within he prepared to put there [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh.
También mandó hacer el santuario interior dentro del Templo, donde se colocaría el Arca del Pacto del Señor.
20 And before the innermost room [was] twenty cubit[s] length and [was] twenty cubit[s] breadth and [was] twenty cubit[s] height its and he overlaid it gold gold plate and he overlaid an altar cedar.
El santuario interior medía veinte codos de largo, veinte de ancho y veinte de alto. Mandó a cubrir el interior con un revestimiento de oro puro, así como el altar de cedro.
21 And he overlaid Solomon the house from within gold gold plate and he made pass (with chains of *Q(K)*) gold before the innermost room and he overlaid it gold.
Salomón hizo cubrir todo el interior del Templo con oro puro, Hizo que se extendieran cadenas de oro por la parte delantera del santuario interior, que también estaba cubierta de oro.
22 And all the house he overlaid gold until was finished all the house and all the altar which [belonged] to the innermost room he overlaid gold.
Cubrió todo el interior del Templo con una capa de oro hasta que estuvo todo terminado. También cubrió de oro todo el altar del santuario interior.
23 And he made in the innermost room two cherubim wood of olive [was] ten cubits height its.
Mandó hacer dos querubines de madera de olivo para el santuario interior, de diez codos de altura cada uno.
24 And [was] five cubits [the] wing of the cherub one and [was] five cubits [the] wing of the cherub second [was] ten cubits from [the] ends of wings its and to [the] ends of wings its.
Las dos alas del querubín medían cinco codos, lo que hacía una envergadura total de diez codos.
25 And [was] ten by the cubit the cherub second a measurement one and a shape one [belonged] to [the] two the cherubim.
El otro querubín también medía diez codos, ya que eran idénticos en tamaño y forma.
26 [the] height of The cherub one [was] ten by the cubit and thus the cherub second.
Ambos querubines medían diez codos.
27 And he put the cherubim in [the] middle of - the house inner and they spread out [the] wings of the cherubim and it touched [the] wing of the one [cherub] the wall and [the] wing of the cherub second [was] touching the wall second and wings their to [the] middle of the house [were] touching wing to wing.
Hizo colocar los querubines dentro del santuario interior del Templo. Como sus alas estaban completamente extendidas, un ala del primer querubín tocaba una pared, un ala del segundo querubín tocaba la otra pared, y en el centro del Templo sus alas se tocaban.
28 And he overlaid the cherubim gold.
Los querubines también estaban cubiertos con una capa de oro.
29 And all [the] walls of the house round about - he carved engravings of carvings of cherubim and palm trees and spread out [things] of flowers from to faces and to the outer.
Hizo tallar todas las paredes del Templo, tanto las del santuario interior como las del exterior, con diseños de querubines, palmeras y flores abiertas.
30 And [the] floor of the house he overlaid gold to within and to the outer.
También mandó cubrir de oro el suelo del Templo, tanto el de los santuarios interiores como el de los exteriores.
31 And [the] entrance of the innermost room he made doors of wood of olive the pillar doorposts of fifth.
Mandó hacer puertas de madera de olivo para la entrada del santuario interior, con un dintel y jambas de cinco lados.
32 And two doors of wood of olive and he carved on them carvings of cherubim and palm trees and spread out [things] of flowers and he overlaid [them] gold and he hammered out on the cherubim and on the palm trees the gold.
Estas puertas dobles de madera de olivo tenían grabados diseños de querubines, palmeras y flores abiertas. Las tallas de los querubines y las palmeras estaban cubiertas de oro batido.
33 And thus he made for [the] entrance of the temple doorposts of wood of olive from with a fourth.
De igual manera, mandó a hacer postes de madera de olivo de cuatro lados para la entrada del santuario.
34 And two doors of wood of cypresses two sides the door one [were] revolving and two curtains the door second [were] revolving.
Sus puertas eran de madera de ciprés, cada una con dos paneles abatibles.
35 And he carved cherubim and palm trees and spread out [things] of flowers and he overlaid gold made smooth on the carved [work].
Las hizo tallar con diseños de querubines, palmeras y flores abiertas, y las cubrió con oro batido uniformemente sobre las tallas.
36 And he built the court inner three rows of hewn [stone] and a row of beams of cedar.
Salomón hizo construir el patio interior con tres hileras de piedra labrada y una de vigas de cedro.
37 In the year fourth it was founded [the] house of Yahweh in [the] month of Ziv.
Los cimientos del Templo del Señor fueron puestos en el cuarto año del reinado de Salomón, en el mes de Zif.
38 And in the year one [plus] ten in [the] month of Bul that [was] the month eighth it was complete the house to all parts its and to all (plans its *Q(K)*) and he built it seven years.
El Templo se terminó exactamente como estaba previsto y especificado en el undécimo año de Salomón, en el octavo mes, el mes de Bul. Así que tardó siete años en construir el Templo.
