1 Kings 6
1 And it was in eighty year and four hundred year of [the] coming out of [the] people of Israel from [the] land of Egypt in the year fourth in [the] month of Ziv that [was] the month second of [the] reigning of Solomon over Israel and he built the house for Yahweh.
480 Aar efter at Israeliterne var vandret ud af Ægypten, i Ziv Maaned, det er den anden Maaned, i det fjerde Aar Salomo herskede i Israel, begyndte han at bygge HERREN Templet.
2 And the house which he built the king Solomon for Yahweh [was] sixty cubit[s] length its and [was] twenty breadth its and [was] thirty cubit[s] height its.
Templet, som Kong Salomo byggede HERREN, var tresindstyve Alen langt, tyve Alen bredt og tredive Alen højt.
3 And the porch on [the] face of [the] temple of the house [was] twenty cubit[s] length its on [the] face of [the] breadth of the house [was] ten by the cubit breadth its on [the] face of the house.
Forhallen foran Templets Hellige var tyve Alen lang, svarende til Templets Bredde, og ti Alen bred.
4 And he made for the house windows of frames shut.
Han forsynede Templet med Gittervinduer i Bjælkerammer,
5 And he built on [the] wall of the house (an extension *Q(K)*) all around [the] walls of the house around the temple and the innermost room and he made side-chambers all around.
og op til Tempelmuren byggede han en Tilbygning rundt om Templets Mure, rundt om det Hellige og Inderhallen, og indrettede Siderum rundt om.
6 (The extension *Q(K)*) lower [was] five by the cubit breadth its and the middle [extension] [was] six by the cubit breadth its and third [extension] [was] seven by the cubit breadth its for ledges he made for the house around [the] outside towards to not to have hold in [the] walls of the house.
Det nederste Rum var fem Alen bredt, det mellemste seks og det tredje syv, thi han byggede Fremspring i Templets Ydermur rundt om, for at man ikke skulde være nødt til at lade Bjælkerne gribe ind i Templets Mure.
7 And the house when was built it stone perfect quarry it was built and hammers and axe any article of iron not it was heard in the house when was built it.
Ved Templets Opførelse byggede man med Sten, der var gjort færdige i Stenbrudet, derfor hørtes hverken Lyd af Hamre, Mejsler eller andet Jernværktøj, medens Templet byggedes.
8 [the] entrance of The side-chamber middle [was] to [the] side of the house south and by stairs people went up to the middle and from the middle to the thirty.
Indgangen til det nederste Rum var paa Templets Sydside, og derfra førte Vindeltrapper op til det mellemste og derfra igen op til det tredje Rum.
9 And he built the house and he finished it and he covered the house beams and planks with cedar.
Saaledes byggede han Templet færdigt, og han lagde Taget med Bjælker og Planker af Cedertræ.
10 And he built (the extension *Q(K)*) on all the house [was] five cubits height its and he covered the house with wood of cedar.
Han byggede Tilbygningen rundt om hele Templet, hvert Stokværk fem Alen højt, og den blev forbundet med Templet med Cederbjælker.
11 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Solomon saying.
Da kom HERRENS Ord til Salomo saaledes:
12 The house this which you [are] building if you will walk in statutes my and judgments my you will observe and you will keep all commandments my to walk in them and I will establish word my with you which I spoke to David father your.
»Dette Hus, som du er ved at bygge — dersom du vandrer efter mine Anordninger og gør efter mine Lovbud og omhyggeligt vandrer efter alle mine Bud, vil jeg paa dig stadfæste det Ord, jeg talede til din Fader David,
13 And I will dwell in among [the] people of Israel and not I will abandon people my Israel.
og tage Bolig blandt Israeliterne og ikke forlade mit Folk Israel.«
14 And he built Solomon the house and he finished it.
Saaledes byggede Salomo Templet færdigt.
15 And he built [the] walls of the house from inside with boards of cedar from [the] floor of the house to [the] walls of the ceiling he overlaid wood from inside and he overlaid [the] floor of the house with boards of cypresses.
Templets Vægge dækkede han indvendig med Cederbrædder; fra Bygningens Gulv til Loftsbjælkerne dækkede han dem indvendig med Træ; og over Templets Gulv lagde han Cypresbrædder.
16 And he built twenty cubit[s] (from [the] innermost parts of *Q(k)*) the house with boards of cedar from the floor to the walls and he built for it from inside to an innermost room to [the] holy place of the holy places.
Han dækkede de tyve bageste Alen af Templet med Cederbrædder fra Gulv til Bjælker og indrettede sig Rummet derinde til en Inderhal, det Allerhelligste.
17 And forty by the cubit it was the house that [is] the temple before me.
Fyrretyve Alen maalte det Hellige foran Inderhallen.
18 And cedar [was] to the house within carving of gourds and spread out [things] of flowers everything [was] cedar not stone [was] visible.
Templet var indvendig dækket med Cedertræ, udskaaret Arbejde i Form af Agurker og Blomsterkranse; alt var af Cedertræ, ikke en Sten var at se.
19 And an innermost room in [the] middle of the house from within he prepared to put there [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh.
Han indrettede Inderhallen inde i Templet for der at opstille HERRENS Pagts Ark.
20 And before the innermost room [was] twenty cubit[s] length and [was] twenty cubit[s] breadth and [was] twenty cubit[s] height its and he overlaid it gold gold plate and he overlaid an altar cedar.
Inderhallen var tyve Alen lang, tyve Alen bred og tyve Alen høj, og han overtrak den med fint Guld. Fremdeles lavede han et Alter af Cedertræ
21 And he overlaid Solomon the house from within gold gold plate and he made pass (with chains of *Q(K)*) gold before the innermost room and he overlaid it gold.
foran Inderhallen og overtrak det med Guld. Og Salomo overtrak Templet indvendig med fint Guld og trak for med Guldkæder.
22 And all the house he overlaid gold until was finished all the house and all the altar which [belonged] to the innermost room he overlaid gold.
Hele Templet overtrak han med Guld, hele Templet fra den ene Ende til den anden; ogsaa hele Alteret foran Inderhallen overtrak han med Guld.
23 And he made in the innermost room two cherubim wood of olive [was] ten cubits height its.
I Inderhallen satte han to Keruber af vildt Oliventræ, ti Alen høje;
24 And [was] five cubits [the] wing of the cherub one and [was] five cubits [the] wing of the cherub second [was] ten cubits from [the] ends of wings its and to [the] ends of wings its.
den ene Kerubs Vinger var hver fem Alen, der var ti Alen fra den ene Vingespids til den anden;
25 And [was] ten by the cubit the cherub second a measurement one and a shape one [belonged] to [the] two the cherubim.
ti Alen maalte ogsaa den anden Kerub; begge Keruber havde samme Maal og Skikkelse;
26 [the] height of The cherub one [was] ten by the cubit and thus the cherub second.
begge Keruber var ti Alen høje.
27 And he put the cherubim in [the] middle of - the house inner and they spread out [the] wings of the cherubim and it touched [the] wing of the one [cherub] the wall and [the] wing of the cherub second [was] touching the wall second and wings their to [the] middle of the house [were] touching wing to wing.
Og han opstillede Keruberne midt i den inderste Del af Templet, og de udbredte deres Vinger saaledes, at den enes ene Vinge rørte den ene Væg og den andens ene Vinge den modsatte Væg, medens de to andre Vinger rørte hinanden midt i Templet.
28 And he overlaid the cherubim gold.
Keruberne overtrak han med Guld.
29 And all [the] walls of the house round about - he carved engravings of carvings of cherubim and palm trees and spread out [things] of flowers from to faces and to the outer.
Rundt paa alle Vægge i Templet anbragte han udskaaret Arbejde, Keruber, Palmer og Blomsterkranse, baade i den inderste og den yderste Hal,
30 And [the] floor of the house he overlaid gold to within and to the outer.
og Templets Gulv overtrak han med Guld, baade i den inderste og den yderste Hal.
31 And [the] entrance of the innermost room he made doors of wood of olive the pillar doorposts of fifth.
Til Inderhallens Indgang lod han lave to Dørfløje af vildt Oliventræ; Overliggeren og Dørposterne dannede en Femkant.
32 And two doors of wood of olive and he carved on them carvings of cherubim and palm trees and spread out [things] of flowers and he overlaid [them] gold and he hammered out on the cherubim and on the palm trees the gold.
Og paa de to Oliventræsfløje lod han udskære Keruber, Palmer og Blomsterkranse og overtrak dem med Guld, idet han lod Guldet trykke ned i de udskaarne Keruber og Palmer.
33 And thus he made for [the] entrance of the temple doorposts of wood of olive from with a fourth.
Ligeledes lod han til Indgangen til det Hellige lave Dørstolper af vildt Oliventræ, firkantede Dørstolper,
34 And two doors of wood of cypresses two sides the door one [were] revolving and two curtains the door second [were] revolving.
og to Dørfløje af Cyprestræ, saaledes at hver af de to Dørfløje bestod af to bevægelige Dørflader;
35 And he carved cherubim and palm trees and spread out [things] of flowers and he overlaid gold made smooth on the carved [work].
og han lod udskære Keruber, Palmer og Blomsterkranse i dem og overtrak dem med Guld, der laa i et tyndt Lag over de udskaarne Figurer.
36 And he built the court inner three rows of hewn [stone] and a row of beams of cedar.
Ligeledes indrettede han den indre Forgaard ved at bygge tre Lag Kvadersten og et Lag Cederbjælker.
37 In the year fourth it was founded [the] house of Yahweh in [the] month of Ziv.
I det fjerde Aar lagdes Grunden til HERRENS Hus i Ziv Maaned;
38 And in the year one [plus] ten in [the] month of Bul that [was] the month eighth it was complete the house to all parts its and to all (plans its *Q(K)*) and he built it seven years.
og i det ellevte Aar i Bul Maaned, det er den ottende Maaned, fuldførtes Templet i alle dets Dele og Stykker; han byggede paa det i syv Aar.
