< 1 Kings 5 >
1 And he sent Hiram [the] king of Tyre servants his to Solomon for he had heard that him people had anointed to king in place of father his for a friend he had been Hiram of David all the days.

2 And he sent Solomon to Hiram saying.
Solomon mah Hiram khaeah hae tiah lokpat;
3 You you know David father my that not he was able to build a house for [the] name of Yahweh God his because of the war which they had surrounded him until gave Yahweh them under [the] soles of (feet my. *Q(K)*)
kampa David loe a taengah kaom misanawk to tuk tuektuek pongah, Angraeng mah a misanawk to a khok tlim ah suem boih ai karoek to, Angraeng ih ahmin oh hanah im to sah thai ai.
4 And now he has given rest Yahweh God my to me from round about there not [is] an adversary and there not [is] an occurrence evil.
Toe vaihi loe ka Angraeng Sithaw mah ahmuen kruek hoiah misa amdinghaih to ang paek boeh, misa hoi amro han koi om ai boeh.
5 And here I [am] saying to build a house for [the] name of Yahweh God my just as - he spoke Yahweh to David father my saying son your whom I will put in place of you on throne your he he will build the house for name my.
Angraeng mah kampa David khaeah, Nang zuengah na angraeng tangkhang pongah anghnut han ka suek ih, na capa mah ni ka hmin oh haih im to sah tih, tiah thuih baktih toengah, ka Angraeng Sithaw ih ahmin oh hanah im sak ka tim, tiah a naa.
6 And therefore command so they may cut for me cedars from Lebanon and servants my they will be with servants your and [the] wage[s] of servants your I will give to you according to all that you will say for - you you know that there not among us [is] anyone [who] knows to cut wood like the Sidonians.
To pongah Lebanon ih sidar thing ang pakhruk pae o hanah thui paeh; ka tamnanawk loe na tamnanawk hoiah nawnto toksah o nasoe, na tamannawk hanah kangaih atho to ka paek han hmang; Sidon kaminawk baktiah thing pakhruh thaih kami kaicae thungah om o ai, tiah na panoek, tiah a naa.
7 And it was when heard Hiram [the] words of Solomon and he rejoiced exceedingly and he said [be] blessed Yahweh this day who he has given to David a son wise over the people great this.
Solomon ih lok to Hiram mah thaih naah, paroeai palung anghoe moe, Vaihniah Sithaw khae tahamhoihaih om nasoe; hae ih kalen parai kaminawk uk hanah Anih mah David hanah palungha capa maeto paek boeh, tiah thuih.
8 And he sent Hiram to Solomon saying I have heard [that] which you sent to me I I will do all desire your in wood of cedar and in wood of cypress.
Hiram mah Solomon hanah lok palaem pae; nang pat ih lok to ka thaih boeh; nang toeng zetto sidar thing hoi hmaica thing to kang paek han hmang.
9 Servants my they will bring [them] down from Lebanon [the] sea towards and I I will make them rafts on the sea to the place which you will send to me and I will break up them there and you you will carry [them] away and you you will do desire my by giving [the] food of household my.
Ka tamnanawk mah thing to Lebanon hoi tuipui lam ah na thak o tih, to thing to qophong ah ka saksak moe, na koeh ih ahmuen ah tuipui lam hoiah kang zunsak han hmang; to ah phak naah nang mah la ah; toe ka imthung takoh kaminawk to buh pacah ah, tiah a naa.
10 And he was Hiram giving to Solomon wood of cedar and wood of cypress all desire his.
To tiah Solomon mah angtoeng ih sidar thing hoi hmaica thing to Hiram mah thak pae.
11 And Solomon he gave to Hiram twenty thousand cor[s] of wheat food for household his and twenty cor[s] of oil pressed thus he gave Solomon to Hiram a year in a year.
Solomon mah saningto naah, Hiram imthung takoh caak hanah takaw dip noekhaih kor sing hnetto, situi tabu kor pumphaeto paek.
12 And Yahweh he gave wisdom to Solomon just as he had spoken to him and it was peace between Hiram and between Solomon and they made a covenant [the] two of them.
Anih mah Solomon khaeah lokkamhaih sak baktih toengah, Angraeng mah Solomon to palunghahaih paek; Hiram hoi Solomon salakah angdaehhaih oh pongah, ampui ah oh hoi.
13 And he raised the king Solomon forced labor from all Israel and it was the forced labor thirty thousand man.
Solomon loe Israel prae boih ah toksah kami to kok, sangqum boih ah kami sang quithumto oh o.
14 And he sent them Lebanon towards ten thousand in the month relays a month they were in Lebanon two months in home his and Adoniram [was] over the forced labor.
Khrah thumto thungah Lebanon ah kami sang hato patoeh; nihcae loe Lebanon ah khrahto thung oh o, im ah khrah hnetto oh o; Adoniram loe to ih toksah khawngkung ah oh.
15 And it belonged to Solomon seventy thousand carrier[s] burden-bearer[s] and eighty thousand stone-cutter[s] in the hill country.
Solomon mah hmuenmae puen kaminawk sang quisarihto, mae nuiah thing pakhruh kaminawk sing tazetto suek;
16 Apart from [the] leaders of the overseers of Solomon who [were] over the work three thousand and three hundred who ruled over the people who were doing the work.
Solomon ih toksah angraengnawk pacoengah, toksah khenzawnkung sang thum, cumvai thumto a suek.
17 And he commanded the king and they quarried stones large stones costly to found the house stones of hewn [stone].
Siangpahrang mah thuih ih lok baktih toengah, im angdoethaih ahmuen sak hanah, kalen parai thlung, atho kanaa thlung hoi aah tangcae thlungnawk to a phawh o.
18 And they cut [them] to shape [the] builders of Solomon and [the] builders of Hiram and the Gebalites and they prepared the wood and the stones to build the house.
Solomon hoi Hiram ih bantok sah kop kaminawk loe, im sak hanah, Gebal kaminawk hoi nawnto thing hoi thlungnawk to a lak o.
