1 Kings 22
1 And they remained three years there not [was] war between Aram and between Israel.
Durante tres años Harán e Israel no estuvieron en guerra.
2 And it was in the year third and he went down Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah to [the] king of Israel.
Pero al tercer año Josafat, rey de Judá, fue a visitar al rey de Israel.
3 And he said [the] king of Israel to servants his ¿ do you know that [belongs] to us Ramoth Gilead and we [are] inactive from taking it from [the] hand of [the] king of Aram.
El rey de Israel había dicho a sus oficiales: “¿No se dan cuenta de que Ramot de Galaad nos pertenece realmente y sin embargo no hemos hecho nada para recuperarla del rey de Harán?”
4 And he said to Jehoshaphat ¿ will you go with me for battle Ramoth Gilead and he said Jehoshaphat to [the] king of Israel as me as you as people my as people your as horses my as horses your.
Entonces le preguntó a Josafat: “¿Te unirás a mí en un ataque para reconquistar Ramot de Galaad?” Josafat respondió al rey de Israel: “Tú y yo somos como uno, mis hombres y tus hombres son como uno, y mis caballos y tus caballos son como uno”.
5 And he said Jehoshaphat to [the] king of Israel seek please as the day [the] word of Yahweh.
Entonces Josafat dijo al rey de Israel: “Pero antes, por favor, averigua lo que dice el Señor”.
6 And he gathered [the] king of Israel the prophets about four hundred man and he said to them ¿ will I go on Ramoth Gilead for battle or? will I refrain and they said go up so he may give [it] [the] Lord in [the] hand of the king.
Entonces el rey de Israel sacó a los profetas -cuatrocientos- y les preguntó: “¿Debo subir a atacar Ramot de Galaad, o no?” “Sí, adelante”, le respondieron, “porque el Señor la entregará al rey”.
7 And he said Jehoshaphat ¿ [is] there not here a prophet of Yahweh still so we may enquire from him.
Pero Josafat preguntó: “¿No hay aquí otro profeta del Señor al que podamos preguntar?”
8 And he said [the] king of Israel - to Jehoshaphat still a man one to consult Yahweh from him and I I hate him for not he prophesies on me good that except evil Micaiah [the] son of Imlah and he said Jehoshaphat may not he speak the king thus.
“Sí, hay otro hombre que podría consultar al Señor”, respondió el rey de Israel, “pero no me gusta porque nunca profetiza nada bueno para mí, ¡siempre es malo! Se llama Micaías, hijo de Imá”. “No deberías hablar así”, dijo Josafat.
9 And he summoned [the] king of Israel a court-official one and he said bring quickly! Micaiah [the] son of Imlah.
El rey de Israel llamó a uno de sus funcionarios y le dijo: “Tráeme enseguida a Micaías, hijo de Imá”.
10 And [the] king of Israel and Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah [were] sitting each on throne his clothed garments at [the] threshing floor [the] entrance of [the] gate of Samaria and all the prophets [were] prophesying before them.
Vestidos con sus ropas reales, el rey de Israel y el rey Josafat de Judá, estaban sentados en sus tronos en la era junto a la puerta de Samaria, con todos los profetas profetizando frente a ellos.
11 And he made for himself Zedekiah [the] son of Kenaanah horns of iron and he said thus he says Yahweh with these you will gore Aram until destroy them.
Uno de ellos, Sedequías, hijo de Quená, se había hecho unos cuernos de hierro. Anunció: “Esto es lo que dice el Señor: ‘¡Con estos cuernos vas a corromper a los arameos hasta matarlos!’”
12 And all the prophets [were] prophesying thus saying go up Ramoth Gilead and succeed and he will give [it] Yahweh in [the] hand of the king.
Y todos los profetas profetizaban lo mismo, diciendo: “Adelante, ataquen Ramot de Galaad; tendrán éxito, porque el Señor se la entregará al rey”.
13 And the messenger who he had gone - to summon Micaiah he spoke to him saying here! please [the] words of the prophets a mouth one [is] good to the king let it be please (word your *Q(K)*) like [the] word of one from them and you will speak good.
Entonces el mensajero que fue a llamar a Micaías le dijo: “Mira, todos los profetas son unánimes en profetizar positivamente al rey. Así que asegúrate de hablar positivamente como ellos”.
14 And he said Micaiah [by] [the] life of Yahweh for [that] which he will say Yahweh to me it I will speak.
Pero Micaías respondió: “Vive el Señor, yo sólo puedo decir lo que mi Dios me dice”.
15 And he came to the king and he said the king to him O Micaiah ¿ will we go against Ramoth Gilead for battle or? will we refrain and he said to him go up and succeed and he will give [it] Yahweh in [the] hand of the king.
Cuando llegó ante el rey, éste le preguntó: “¿Subimos a atacar Ramot de Galaad, o no?” “Sí, suban y salgan victoriosos”, respondió Micaías, “porque el Señor entregará la ciudad en manos del rey”.
16 And he said to him the king until how many? times [will] I make swear you that not you must speak to me only truth in [the] name of Yahweh.
Pero el rey le dijo: “¿Cuántas veces tengo que hacerte jurar que sólo me dirás la verdad en nombre del Señor?”
17 And he said I saw all Israel scattered to the mountains like flock which not [belongs] to them a shepherd and he said Yahweh not masters [belong] to these let them return each to house his in peace.
Entonces Micaías respondió: “Vi a todo Israel disperso por los montes como ovejas sin pastor. El Señor dijo: ‘Este pueblo no tiene dueño; que cada uno se vaya a su casa en paz’”.
18 And he said [the] king of Israel to Jehoshaphat ¿ not did I say to you not he prophesies on me good that except evil.
El rey de Israel le dijo a Josafat: “¿No te he dicho que él nunca me profetiza nada bueno, sino sólo malo?”
19 And he said therefore hear [the] word of Yahweh I saw Yahweh sitting on throne his and all [the] host of the heavens [was] standing at him from right his and from left his.
Micaías continuó diciendo: “Escucha, pues, lo que dice el Señor. Vi al Señor sentado en su trono, rodeado de todo el ejército del cielo que estaba a su derecha y a su izquierda.
20 And he said Yahweh who? will he deceive Ahab so he may go up and he may fall at Ramoth Gilead and it said this [one] by thus and this [one] [was] saying by thus.
El Señor preguntó: ‘¿Quién engañará a Acab, rey de Israel, para que ataque a Ramot de Galaad y lo mate allí?’ “Uno dijo esto, otro dijo aquello, y otro dijo otra cosa.
21 And it came forth the spirit and it stood before Yahweh and it said I I will deceive him
Finalmente vino un espíritu y se acercó al Señor y dijo: ‘Yo lo engañaré’.
22 and he said Yahweh to it how? And it said I will go out and I will be a spirit of falsehood in [the] mouth of all prophets his and he said you will deceive and also you will prevail go out and do thus.
“‘¿Cómo vas a hacerlo?’, preguntó el Señor. “‘Iré y seré un espíritu mentiroso y haré que todos sus profetas digan mentiras’, respondió el espíritu. “El Señor respondió: ‘Eso funcionará. Ve y hazlo’.
23 And therefore here! he has put Yahweh a spirit of falsehood in [the] mouth of all prophets your these and Yahweh he has spoken on you evil.
“Como ves, el Señor ha puesto un espíritu mentiroso en estos profetas tuyos, y el Señor ha dictado tu sentencia de muerte”.
24 And he drew near Zedekiah [the] son of Kenaanah and he struck Micaiah on the cheek and he said where? this did it pass on [the] spirit of Yahweh from with me to speak with you.
Entonces Sedequías, hijo de Quená, fue y abofeteó a Micaías en la cara, y le preguntó: “¿A dónde se fue el Espíritu del Señor cuando me dejó hablar contigo?”
25 And he said Micaiah there you [are] about to see on the day that when you will go a room in a room to hide yourself.
“¡Pronto lo descubrirás cuando intentes encontrar algún lugar secreto para esconderte!” respondió Micaías.
26 And he said [the] king of Israel take Micaiah and take back him to Amon [the] official of the city and to Joash [the] son of the king.
El rey de Israel ordenó: “Pongan a Micaías bajo arresto y llévenlo a Amón, el gobernador de la ciudad, y a mi hijo Joás.
27 And you will say thus he says the king put this [one] [the] house of imprisonment and feed him bread oppression and water oppression until come I in peace.
Diles que estas son las instrucciones del rey: ‘Pongan a este hombre en la cárcel. Denle sólo pan y agua hasta mi regreso seguro’”.
28 And he said Micaiah certainly [if] you will return in peace not he has spoken Yahweh by me and he said listen O peoples all of them.
“Si de hecho regresas sano y salvo, entonces el Señor no ha hablado a través de mí”, declaró Micaías. “¡Presten atención todos a todo lo que he dicho!”
29 And he went up [the] king of Israel and Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah Ramoth Gilead.
El rey de Israel y Josafat, rey de Judá, fueron a atacar Ramot de Galaad.
30 And he said [the] king of Israel to Jehoshaphat I will disguise myself and I will go in the battle and you wear own clothes your and he disguised himself [the] king of Israel and he went in the battle.
El rey de Israel le dijo a Josafat: “Cuando yo vaya a la batalla me disfrazaré, pero tú debes llevar tus ropas reales”. Así que el rey de Israel se disfrazó y fue a la batalla.
31 And king of Aram he had commanded [the] commanders of the chariotry which [belonged] to him thirty and two saying not you must do battle with [the] small and with [the] great that except with [the] king of Israel to only him.
El rey de Harán ya había dado estas órdenes a sus comandantes de carros “Diríjanse directamente hacia el rey de Israel solo. No luchen con nadie más, sea quien sea”.
32 And it was when saw [the] commanders of the chariotry Jehoshaphat and they they said surely [is] [the] king of Israel he and they turned aside on him to do battle and he cried out Jehoshaphat.
Así que cuando los comandantes de los carros vieron a Josafat, gritaron: “¡Este debe ser el rey de Israel!” Así que se volvieron para atacarlo, pero cuando Josafat pidió ayuda,
33 And it was when saw [the] commanders of the chariotry that not [was] [the] king of Israel he and they turned back from after him.
los comandantes de los carros vieron que no era el rey de Israel y dejaron de perseguirlo.
34 And someone he drew on the bow to innocence his and he struck [the] king of Israel between the joints and between the body armor and he said to charioteer his turn around hand your and take out me from the camp for I have been wounded.
Sin embargo, un arquero enemigo disparó una flecha al azar, hiriendo al rey de Israel entre las junturas de su armadura, junto al peto. El rey le dijo a su auriga: “¡Da la vuelta y sácame del combate, porque me han herido!”.
35 And it went up the battle on the day that and the king he was placed in the chariot opposite to Aram and he died in the evening and it flowed [the] blood of the wound into [the] bottom of the chariot.
La batalla duró todo el día. El rey de Israel se apuntaló en su carro para enfrentarse a los arameos, pero al anochecer murió. La sangre se había derramado de su herida sobre el piso del carro.
36 And it passed the cry in the camp when went the sun saying everyone to city his and everyone to land his.
Al atardecer, un grito salió de las filas: “¡Retírense! Cada uno vuelva a su ciudad, cada uno vuelva a su país”.
37 And he died the king and he came Samaria and people buried the king in Samaria.
Así murió el rey. Lo llevaron de vuelta a Samaria, donde lo enterraron.
38 And someone washed off the chariot at - [the] pool of Samaria and they licked up the dogs blood his and the prostitutes they bathed according to [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken.
Lavaron su carro en un estanque de Samaria donde las prostitutas venían a bañarse, y los perros lamieron su sangre, tal como el Señor había dicho.
39 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Ahab and all that he did and [the] house of ivory which he built and all the cities which he built ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
El resto de lo que sucedió en el reinado de Acab, todo lo que hizo, el palacio de marfil que construyó y todas las ciudades que edificó, están registrados en el Libro de las Crónicas de los Reyes de Israel.
40 And he lay down Ahab with ancestors his and he became king Ahaziah son his in place of him.
Acab murió y su hijo Ocozías lo sucedió como rey.
41 And Jehoshaphat [the] son of Asa he became king over Judah in year four of Ahab [the] king of Israel.
Josafat, hijo de Asá, llegó a ser rey de Judá en el cuarto año del reinado de Acab, rey de Israel.
42 Jehoshaphat [was] a son of thirty and five year[s] when became king he and twenty and five year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Azubah [the] daughter of Shilhi.
Josafat tenía treinta y cinco años cuando llegó a ser rey, y reinó en Jerusalén durante veinticinco años. Su madre se llamaba Azuba, hija de Silhi.
43 And he walked in all [the] way of Asa father his not he turned aside from it to do the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh. Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and making smoke at the high places.
Siguió todos los caminos de su padre; no se apartó de ellos, e hizo lo correcto a los ojos del Señor. Sin embargo, los altares paganos no fueron destruidos y el pueblo siguió sacrificando y presentando ofrendas allí.
44 And he made peace Jehoshaphat with [the] king of Israel.
Josafat también hizo la paz con el rey de Israel.
45 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jehoshaphat and might his which he did and which he waged war ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
El resto de lo que sucedió en el reinado de Josafat, sus grandes logros y las guerras que libró están registrados en el Libro de las Crónicas de los Reyes de Judá.
46 And [the] rest of the cult prostitute[s] which it remained in [the] days of Asa father his he destroyed from the land.
Expulsó del país a las prostitutas del culto que quedaban de la época de su padre Asa.
47 And [was] a king there not in Edom a deputy [was] king.
(En esa época no había rey en Edom; sino que había un diputado que hacía las veces de rey).
48 Jehoshaphat (he made *Q(K)*) ships of Tarshish to go Ophir towards for gold and not it went for (they were broken *Q(K)*) [the] ships at Ezion Geber.
Josafat construyó barcos marítimos para ir a Ofir en busca de oro, pero se fueron porque naufragaron en Ezión-guéber.
49 Then he said Ahaziah [the] son of Ahab to Jehoshaphat let them go servants my with servants your in [the] ships and not he was willing Jehoshaphat.
En ese tiempo Ocozías, hijo de Acab, le pidió a Josafat: “Deja que mis hombres naveguen con los tuyos”, pero Josafat se negó.
50 And he lay down Jehoshaphat with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David ancestor his and he became king Jehoram son his in place of him.
Josafat murió y fue enterrado con sus antepasados en la Ciudad de David. Su hijo Jehoram lo sucedió como rey.
51 Ahaziah [the] son of Ahab he became king over Israel in Samaria in year seven-teen of Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah and he reigned over Israel two years.
Ocozías, hijo de Acab, se convirtió en rey de Israel en Samaria en el año diecisiete de Josafat, rey de Judá, y reinó sobre Israel durante dos años.
52 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he walked in [the] way of father his and in [the] way of mother his and in [the] way of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat who he caused to sin Israel.
Sus hechos fueron malos a los ojos del Señor y siguió los caminos de su padre y de su madre, y de Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, que había hecho pecar a Israel.
53 And he served Baal and he bowed down to it and he provoked to anger Yahweh [the] God of Israel according to all that he had done father his.
Sirvió a Baal y lo adoró, y enfureció al Señor, el Dios de Israel, tal como lo había hecho su padre.
