< 1 Kings 22 >

1 And they remained three years there not [was] war between Aram and between Israel.

2 And it was in the year third and he went down Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah to [the] king of Israel.

3 And he said [the] king of Israel to servants his ¿ do you know that [belongs] to us Ramoth Gilead and we [are] inactive from taking it from [the] hand of [the] king of Aram.
Isarel siangpahrang ni a sannaw koevah, Gilead ram e Ramoth teh kaie ti a panue nahlangva, bangkongmaw Siria siangpahrang lawm laipalah o awh han, telah ati.
4 And he said to Jehoshaphat ¿ will you go with me for battle Ramoth Gilead and he said Jehoshaphat to [the] king of Israel as me as you as people my as people your as horses my as horses your.

5 And he said Jehoshaphat to [the] king of Israel seek please as the day [the] word of Yahweh.
Jehoshaphat ni Isarel siangpahrang koevah, BAWIPA e lawk hah ring ei telah atipouh.
6 And he gathered [the] king of Israel the prophets about four hundred man and he said to them ¿ will I go on Ramoth Gilead for battle or? will I refrain and they said go up so he may give [it] [the] Lord in [the] hand of the king.

7 And he said Jehoshaphat ¿ [is] there not here a prophet of Yahweh still so we may enquire from him.
Jehoshaphat ni hivah BAWIPA Cathut e profet buetbuet touh pouknae hei hanelah awm hoeh toung maw, telah ati.
8 And he said [the] king of Israel - to Jehoshaphat still a man one to consult Yahweh from him and I I hate him for not he prophesies on me good that except evil Micaiah [the] son of Imlah and he said Jehoshaphat may not he speak the king thus.

9 And he summoned [the] king of Israel a court-official one and he said bring quickly! Micaiah [the] son of Imlah.
Hatdawkvah, Isarel siangpahrang ni bawi buet touh a kaw teh, Imlah capa Mikaiah hah karanglah thokhai haw telah atipouh.
10 And [the] king of Israel and Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah [were] sitting each on throne his clothed garments at [the] threshing floor [the] entrance of [the] gate of Samaria and all the prophets [were] prophesying before them.
Isarel siangpahrang hoi Judah siangpahrang Jehoshaphat teh Samaria kalupnae longkha kâennae teng e cangkatinnae yawn dawk, siangpahrang khohna hoi a kamthoup roi teh, a bawitungkhung lengkaleng dawk a tahung roi. Hahoi, profetnaw ni ahnimouh roi e hmalah lawk hah a pâpho awh.
11 And he made for himself Zedekiah [the] son of Kenaanah horns of iron and he said thus he says Yahweh with these you will gore Aram until destroy them.
Khenanah e capa Zedekiah ni sumki hah a sak pouh teh, BAWIPA ni hettelah a dei, hete kinaw hoiyah Siria taminaw hah koung kadout lah na deng awh han telah atipouh.
12 And all the prophets [were] prophesying thus saying go up Ramoth Gilead and succeed and he will give [it] Yahweh in [the] hand of the king.
Hot patetvanlah, profetnaw pueng nihai, Ramothgilead vah luen awh nateh, tâ awh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, BAWIPA ni siangpahrang kut dawk na poe awh han telah a dei pouh awh.
13 And the messenger who he had gone - to summon Micaiah he spoke to him saying here! please [the] words of the prophets a mouth one [is] good to the king let it be please (word your *Q(K)*) like [the] word of one from them and you will speak good.
Mikaih kaw hanlah patoune ni, khenhaw! profetnaw ni kâvan e lawk buet touh hah a kuet awh teh, kahawi e lah dueng siangpahrang koevah, lawk rip a dei awh toe. Ahnimouh ni a dei awh e patetvanlah, nang ni hai dei van leih, kahawi e lah dei van haw telah atipouh.
14 And he said Micaiah [by] [the] life of Yahweh for [that] which he will say Yahweh to me it I will speak.
Mikaiah ni BAWIPA a hring e patetlah BAWIPA ni kai koe a dei e doeh kai ni teh ka dei tih telah atipouh.
15 And he came to the king and he said the king to him O Micaiah ¿ will we go against Ramoth Gilead for battle or? will we refrain and he said to him go up and succeed and he will give [it] Yahweh in [the] hand of the king.

16 And he said to him the king until how many? times [will] I make swear you that not you must speak to me only truth in [the] name of Yahweh.
Siangpahrang ni lawkkatang laipalah kai oe BAWIPA min lahoi dei hoeh hanlah avai nâyittouh maw lawk na kam sak han, telah ati.
17 And he said I saw all Israel scattered to the mountains like flock which not [belongs] to them a shepherd and he said Yahweh not masters [belong] to these let them return each to house his in peace.
Ahni ni, Isarelnaw pueng teh khoumkung ka tawn hoeh e tu patetlah mon dawk koung a kâkahei awh e hah ka hmu. BAWIPA ni hete taminaw ni kahrawikung tawn awh hoeh toe. Amae im dawk lengkaleng lungmawngcalah ban awh naseh, telah ati atipouh.
18 And he said [the] king of Israel to Jehoshaphat ¿ not did I say to you not he prophesies on me good that except evil.
Isarel siangpahrang ni Jehoshaphat koevah, kaie kong dawk thoenae hloilah kahawi e koelah banghai dei mahoeh telah yo ka dei toe telah atipouh.
19 And he said therefore hear [the] word of Yahweh I saw Yahweh sitting on throne his and all [the] host of the heavens [was] standing at him from right his and from left his.
Hatdawkvah, Mikaiah ni, BAWIPA e lawk heh thai haw. BAWIPA teh a bawitungkhung dawk kalvan vah a tahung teh kalvantaminaw pueng avoilah aranglah a kangdue e ka hmu.
20 And he said Yahweh who? will he deceive Ahab so he may go up and he may fall at Ramoth Gilead and it said this [one] by thus and this [one] [was] saying by thus.
Hahoi, BAWIPA ni Ahab heh Ramothgilead vah a luen vaiteh taran kut dawk due hanlah apinimaw a tacuek telah atipouh. Buet touh ni hettelah a dei teh, alouke ni hottelah ati.
21 And it came forth the spirit and it stood before Yahweh and it said I I will deceive him
Hatdawkvah, muitha buet touh a tâco teh, BAWIPA hmalah a kangdue. Kai ni ka tacuek han telah atipouh.
22 and he said Yahweh to it how? And it said I will go out and I will be a spirit of falsehood in [the] mouth of all prophets his and he said you will deceive and also you will prevail go out and do thus.
BAWIPA ni ahni koevah, bangtelamaw telah atipouh. Ahni ni ka cei vaiteh a profetnaw pueng e pahni dawk laithoe muitha lah ka o han telah atipouh. Hahoi, BAWIPA ni, na tacuek pawiteh na tacuek thai han doeh. Cet nateh hottelah sak telah atipouh.
23 And therefore here! he has put Yahweh a spirit of falsehood in [the] mouth of all prophets your these and Yahweh he has spoken on you evil.
Hatdawkvah, khenhaw! BAWIPA ni hete na profetnaw pueng e a pahni dawk laithoe muitha hah a ta teh, BAWIPA ni nangmouh rawk nahane kong hah a dei toe telah atipouh.
24 And he drew near Zedekiah [the] son of Kenaanah and he struck Micaiah on the cheek and he said where? this did it pass on [the] spirit of Yahweh from with me to speak with you.
Hottelah Kenaanah e capa Zedekiah ni rek a hnai teh, Mikaiah e tamboung dawk a tambei. Nang koe lawk dei hanelah BAWIPA ni a patoun e muitha ni na lae lam dawk hoi maw kai koe hoi a cei telah atipouh.
25 And he said Micaiah there you [are] about to see on the day that when you will go a room in a room to hide yourself.
Mikaiah ni, khenhaw! kâhro hanlah imrakhan thung hoi na kâen hnin vah na panue han telah atipouh.
26 And he said [the] king of Israel take Micaiah and take back him to Amon [the] official of the city and to Joash [the] son of the king.
Hat toteh, Isarel siangpahrang ni, Mikaiah heh khopui kaukkung Ammon e capa Joash koevah cetkhai awh leih.
27 And you will say thus he says the king put this [one] [the] house of imprisonment and feed him bread oppression and water oppression until come I in peace.
Hahoi, hete tami heh thongim pabawt awh nateh, roumnae hoi ka ban hoehroukrak, rawca hoi tui yitca dueng poe awh tet pouh atipouh.
28 And he said Micaiah certainly [if] you will return in peace not he has spoken Yahweh by me and he said listen O peoples all of them.

29 And he went up [the] king of Israel and Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah Ramoth Gilead.
Hottelah Isarel siangpahrang hoi Judah siangpahrang Jehoshaphat teh Ramothgilead vah a takhang roi.
30 And he said [the] king of Israel to Jehoshaphat I will disguise myself and I will go in the battle and you wear own clothes your and he disguised himself [the] king of Israel and he went in the battle.
Isarel siangpahrang ni Jehoshaphat koevah, ka mei kâthung vaiteh, tarantuknae koe ka cei van han. Nang teh siangpahrang khohna hah kho telah atipouh. Hatdawkvah, Isarel siangpahrang teh a mei a kâthung teh tarantuknae koe a cei.
31 And king of Aram he had commanded [the] commanders of the chariotry which [belonged] to him thirty and two saying not you must do battle with [the] small and with [the] great that except with [the] king of Israel to only him.
Siria siangpahrang ni leng kâcuinaw 32 touh koevah, Isarel siangpahrang laipalah, tami kathoeng kalen apihai tuk awh hanh telah kâ a poe.
32 And it was when saw [the] commanders of the chariotry Jehoshaphat and they they said surely [is] [the] king of Israel he and they turned aside on him to do battle and he cried out Jehoshaphat.
Leng kaukkungnaw ni Jehoshaphat a hmu awh toteh, hetteh Isarel siangpahrang roeroe doeh, telah ati awh. Hatdawkvah, ahni tuk hanelah a kamlang awh dawkvah, Jehoshaphat teh a hram.
33 And it was when saw [the] commanders of the chariotry that not [was] [the] king of Israel he and they turned back from after him.
Hateiteh, leng kâcuinaw ni Isarel siangpahrang nahoeh tie a panue awh toteh, ahni pâleinae koehoi a ban takhai awh.
34 And someone he drew on the bow to innocence his and he struck [the] king of Israel between the joints and between the body armor and he said to charioteer his turn around hand your and take out me from the camp for I have been wounded.

35 And it went up the battle on the day that and the king he was placed in the chariot opposite to Aram and he died in the evening and it flowed [the] blood of the wound into [the] bottom of the chariot.
Hote hnin dawk tarantuknae teh a patawpoung teh siangpahrang teh a leng van vah Sirianaw e hmuen dawk a kangdue sak awh teh, tangmin lah a due. A hmâ dawk hoi leng van vah a thi teh a kui.
36 And it passed the cry in the camp when went the sun saying everyone to city his and everyone to land his.
Kanî aloum tawmlei nah ransanaw thung dawk hoi tami pueng amae kho tangkuem dawk, tami pueng mae ram lah koung ban awh naseh telah thouk a oung awh.
37 And he died the king and he came Samaria and people buried the king in Samaria.
Siangpahrang teh hottelah a due. Samaria vah a kâenkhai awh teh, hawvah siangpahrang teh a pakawp awh.
38 And someone washed off the chariot at - [the] pool of Samaria and they licked up the dogs blood his and the prostitutes they bathed according to [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken.
Samaria tuikamuem rai lah leng hah a pâsu awh teh, BAWIPA ni a dei e lawk patetlah kâyawtnaw tui kamhluknae koe uinaw ni a thi hah a palem.
39 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Ahab and all that he did and [the] house of ivory which he built and all the cities which he built ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

40 And he lay down Ahab with ancestors his and he became king Ahaziah son his in place of him.

41 And Jehoshaphat [the] son of Asa he became king over Judah in year four of Ahab [the] king of Israel.
Hahoi Isarel siangpahrang Ahab a bawinae a kum pali nah Asa capa Jehoshaphat teh Judah taminaw lathueng vah siangpahrang lah ao.
42 Jehoshaphat [was] a son of thirty and five year[s] when became king he and twenty and five year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Azubah [the] daughter of Shilhi.

43 And he walked in all [the] way of Asa father his not he turned aside from it to do the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh. Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and making smoke at the high places.

44 And he made peace Jehoshaphat with [the] king of Israel.
Hahoi Jehoshaphat ni Isarel siangpahrang hoi roumnae a sak.
45 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jehoshaphat and might his which he did and which he waged war ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.

46 And [the] rest of the cult prostitute[s] which it remained in [the] days of Asa father his he destroyed from the land.
Hahoi, a na pa Asa a hring nah napuitongpanaw hah a ram dawk hoi koung a pâlei.
47 And [was] a king there not in Edom a deputy [was] king.
Edom ram dawk siangpahrang ao hoeh dawkvah, siangpahrang a yueng lah kaawm e ni a uk awh.
48 Jehoshaphat (he made *Q(K)*) ships of Tarshish to go Ophir towards for gold and not it went for (they were broken *Q(K)*) [the] ships at Ezion Geber.
Jehoshaphat ni Ophir ram dawk a patoun teh, sui phu hanelah Tarshish long hah a sak. Hateiteh, cet awh hoeh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, Eziongeber vah long hah a rawk.
49 Then he said Ahaziah [the] son of Ahab to Jehoshaphat let them go servants my with servants your in [the] ships and not he was willing Jehoshaphat.
Ahab capa Ahaziah ni Jehoshaphat koevah, ka taminaw heh na taminaw hoi long dawk hoi rei cet awh naseh telah ati. Hatei Jehoshaphat ni ngai hoeh.
50 And he lay down Jehoshaphat with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David ancestor his and he became king Jehoram son his in place of him.

51 Ahaziah [the] son of Ahab he became king over Israel in Samaria in year seven-teen of Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah and he reigned over Israel two years.
Judah siangpahrang Jehoshaphat siangpahrang a tawknae kum 17 navah, Ahab capa Ahaziah teh Samaria khovah, Isarelnaw e siangpahrang lah ao. Isarel hah kum 2 touh a uk.
52 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he walked in [the] way of father his and in [the] way of mother his and in [the] way of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat who he caused to sin Israel.

53 And he served Baal and he bowed down to it and he provoked to anger Yahweh [the] God of Israel according to all that he had done father his.
