< 1 Kings 22 >
1 And they remained three years there not [was] war between Aram and between Israel.

2 And it was in the year third and he went down Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah to [the] king of Israel.

3 And he said [the] king of Israel to servants his ¿ do you know that [belongs] to us Ramoth Gilead and we [are] inactive from taking it from [the] hand of [the] king of Aram.
Israel siangpahrang mah a tamnanawk khaeah, Gilead prae ih Ramoth vangpui loe aicae ih prae ah ni oh, tiah na panoek o ai maw? Tipongah Syria siangpahrang ban thung hoiah la let ai ah a oh o duem loe? tiah a naa.
4 And he said to Jehoshaphat ¿ will you go with me for battle Ramoth Gilead and he said Jehoshaphat to [the] king of Israel as me as you as people my as people your as horses my as horses your.
To pongah Jehosaphat khaeah, Gilead prae ih Ramoth vangpui tuk hanah nang bomh han maw? tiah a naa. Jehosaphat mah Israel siangpahrang khaeah, Kai doeh nang baktiah ni ka oh; kai ih kaminawk doeh nang ih kaminawk baktiah ni oh o, kai ih hrangnawk doeh nang ih hrang baktiah ni oh, tiah a naa.
5 And he said Jehoshaphat to [the] king of Israel seek please as the day [the] word of Yahweh.
Toe Jehosaphat mah Israel siangpahrang khaeah, Angraeng khaeah lokdueng hmaloe ah, tiah a naa.
6 And he gathered [the] king of Israel the prophets about four hundred man and he said to them ¿ will I go on Ramoth Gilead for battle or? will I refrain and they said go up so he may give [it] [the] Lord in [the] hand of the king.

7 And he said Jehoshaphat ¿ [is] there not here a prophet of Yahweh still so we may enquire from him.

8 And he said [the] king of Israel - to Jehoshaphat still a man one to consult Yahweh from him and I I hate him for not he prophesies on me good that except evil Micaiah [the] son of Imlah and he said Jehoshaphat may not he speak the king thus.

9 And he summoned [the] king of Israel a court-official one and he said bring quickly! Micaiah [the] son of Imlah.

10 And [the] king of Israel and Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah [were] sitting each on throne his clothed garments at [the] threshing floor [the] entrance of [the] gate of Samaria and all the prophets [were] prophesying before them.
Israel siangpahrang hoi Judah siangpahrang Jehosaphat loe, siangpahrang kahni to angkhuk hoi moe, Samaria vangpui akunhaih khongkha hmaa ah, angraeng tangkhang nuiah anghnut hoi; tahmaanawk boih mah nihnik hmaa ah lokthuih pae o.
11 And he made for himself Zedekiah [the] son of Kenaanah horns of iron and he said thus he says Yahweh with these you will gore Aram until destroy them.
Kenanah capa Zedekiah mah angmah hanah sum hoiah takii to sak moe, Angraeng mah, Syria kaminawk nam rosak boih ai karoek to, hae ih takiinawk hoiah nihcae to na tanawt tih, tiah a thuih, tiah a naa.
12 And all the prophets [were] prophesying thus saying go up Ramoth Gilead and succeed and he will give [it] Yahweh in [the] hand of the king.

13 And the messenger who he had gone - to summon Micaiah he spoke to him saying here! please [the] words of the prophets a mouth one [is] good to the king let it be please (word your *Q(K)*) like [the] word of one from them and you will speak good.
Mikaiah kawk han patoeh ih laicaeh mah anih khaeah, Khenah, kalah tahmaanawk boih mah loe siangpahrang khaeah, kahoih lok maeto ah ni thuih pae o; nang doeh nihcae ih lok to paroi ah loe, kahoih lok to thui toeng ah, tiah a naa.
14 And he said Micaiah [by] [the] life of Yahweh for [that] which he will say Yahweh to me it I will speak.
Toe Mikaiah mah, Angraeng loe hing baktih toengah, Angraeng mah thuih ih lok khue ni ka thuih han, tiah a naa.
15 And he came to the king and he said the king to him O Micaiah ¿ will we go against Ramoth Gilead for battle or? will we refrain and he said to him go up and succeed and he will give [it] Yahweh in [the] hand of the king.

16 And he said to him the king until how many? times [will] I make swear you that not you must speak to me only truth in [the] name of Yahweh.
Siangpahrang mah anih khaeah, Angraeng ih ahmin hoiah kamsoem ai hmuen tidoeh thui hmah, kamsoem hmuen khue to thuih hanah, vai nazetto maw lokkamhaih kang saksak han? tiah a naa.
17 And he said I saw all Israel scattered to the mountains like flock which not [belongs] to them a shepherd and he said Yahweh not masters [belong] to these let them return each to house his in peace.
To naah Maikaiah mah, Tuu toepkung om ai, kamhet phang tuunawk baktiah, mae nuiah kamhet phang Israel kaminawk to ka hnuk; Angraeng mah, Hae kaminawk loe angraeng tawn o ai pongah, nihcae loe angmacae im ah amlaem o boih nasoe, tiah a thuih, tiah a naa.
18 And he said [the] king of Israel to Jehoshaphat ¿ not did I say to you not he prophesies on me good that except evil.
Israel siangpahrang mah Jehosaphat khaeah, Hae kami mah kai hanah kahoih hmuen tidoeh thui vai ai, kasae khue ni a thuih, tiah ka thuih na ai maw? tiah a naa.
19 And he said therefore hear [the] word of Yahweh I saw Yahweh sitting on throne his and all [the] host of the heavens [was] standing at him from right his and from left his.
Mikaiah mah, To pongah Angraeng ih lok to tahngai ah, angmah ih angraeng tangkhang pongah anghnu Angraeng hoi a taeng ah banqoi bantang angdoe van misatuh kaminawk to ka hnuk.
20 And he said Yahweh who? will he deceive Ahab so he may go up and he may fall at Ramoth Gilead and it said this [one] by thus and this [one] [was] saying by thus.
Angraeng mah, Ahab loe Ramoth Gilead ah misatuk moe, to ah duek hanah mi mah maw zoek thai tih? tiah a naa. To naah kami maeto mah hae tiah thuih moe, kalah maeto bae mah hae tiah thuih pae.
21 And it came forth the spirit and it stood before Yahweh and it said I I will deceive him
Hnukkhuem ah muithla maeto angzoh, Angraeng hmaa ah angdoet moe, kai mah ka zoek han hmang, tiah a naa.
22 and he said Yahweh to it how? And it said I will go out and I will be a spirit of falsehood in [the] mouth of all prophets his and he said you will deceive and also you will prevail go out and do thus.
Angraeng mah, Kawbangmaw na zoek han loe? tiah a dueng. Anih mah, Ka caeh moe, angmah ih tahmaanawk pakha ah amsawnlok kathui muithla ah ka oh pae han, tiah a naa. Angraeng mah, Nang mah na zoek thai tih, caeh loe, sah ah, tiah a naa.
23 And therefore here! he has put Yahweh a spirit of falsehood in [the] mouth of all prophets your these and Yahweh he has spoken on you evil.
To pongah Angraeng mah nangmah ih tahmaanawk ih pakha ah amsawnlok thui thaih muithla to suek moe, nam ro hanah Angraeng mah lok takroek boeh, tiah a naa.
24 And he drew near Zedekiah [the] son of Kenaanah and he struck Micaiah on the cheek and he said where? this did it pass on [the] spirit of Yahweh from with me to speak with you.
Toe Kananah capa Zedekiah loe caeh tahang moe, Mikaiah to mikhmai ah tabaeng pacoengah, Angraeng ih Muithla loe kai khae hoi tacawt ueloe, nang khaeah lokthui tih maw? tiah a naa.
25 And he said Micaiah there you [are] about to see on the day that when you will go a room in a room to hide yourself.

26 And he said [the] king of Israel take Micaiah and take back him to Amon [the] official of the city and to Joash [the] son of the king.

27 And you will say thus he says the king put this [one] [the] house of imprisonment and feed him bread oppression and water oppression until come I in peace.

28 And he said Micaiah certainly [if] you will return in peace not he has spoken Yahweh by me and he said listen O peoples all of them.
Mikaiah mah, Lunghoihta hoiah nam laem let nahaeloe, Angraeng mah kai khaeah lokthui ai ah ni om tih; Aw kaminawk boih, ka thuih ih lok hae pakuem oh, tiah a naa.
29 And he went up [the] king of Israel and Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah Ramoth Gilead.
To pongah Israel siangpahrang hoi Judah siangpahrang Jehosaphat loe Gilead prae Ramoth vangpui ah caeh hoi tahang.
30 And he said [the] king of Israel to Jehoshaphat I will disguise myself and I will go in the battle and you wear own clothes your and he disguised himself [the] king of Israel and he went in the battle.
Israel siangpahrang mah Jehosaphat khaeah, Kai loe krang angthlaeng moe, misa angtukhaih ahmuen ah ka caeh han; toe nang loe siangpahrang khukbuen to angkhuk ah, tiah a naa. Israel siangpahrang loe krang angthlaeng moe, misa angtukhaih ahmuen ah caeh.
31 And king of Aram he had commanded [the] commanders of the chariotry which [belonged] to him thirty and two saying not you must do battle with [the] small and with [the] great that except with [the] king of Israel to only him.
Toe Syria siangpahrang mah angmah ih hrang lakok ukkung angraeng quithumto pacoeng, hnettonawk khaeah, Israel siangpahrang khue ai ah loe, kami kalen doeh, kathoeng doeh, tuh o hmah, tiah a naa.
32 And it was when saw [the] commanders of the chariotry Jehoshaphat and they they said surely [is] [the] king of Israel he and they turned aside on him to do battle and he cried out Jehoshaphat.
Hrang lakok ukkung ih angraengnawk mah Jehosaphat to hnuk o naah, Hae kami loe Israel siangpahrang kalang boeh mue, tiah poek o. To pongah anih to tuk hanah patom o; to naah Jehosaphat loe hangh.
33 And it was when saw [the] commanders of the chariotry that not [was] [the] king of Israel he and they turned back from after him.

34 And someone he drew on the bow to innocence his and he struck [the] king of Israel between the joints and between the body armor and he said to charioteer his turn around hand your and take out me from the camp for I have been wounded.
Toe kami maeto mah pala to lak moe, kah naah, Israel siangpahrang ih aphaw salakah cop; to naah siangpahrang mah hrang lakok mong kami khaeah, Karangah angqoih loe, misatukhaih ahmuen hoiah na cawn haih ah, ahmaa ka caak boeh, tiah a naa.
35 And it went up the battle on the day that and the king he was placed in the chariot opposite to Aram and he died in the evening and it flowed [the] blood of the wound into [the] bottom of the chariot.
To na ni loe misatuk paroeai nung. Siangpahrang loe Syria kaminawk hoi misa angtuk nathung hrang lakok nuiah kami to amha moe oh; ahma hoi tacawt athii loe hrang lakok thung ah long tathuk boih, duembang phak naah loe a duek.
36 And it passed the cry in the camp when went the sun saying everyone to city his and everyone to land his.
Duembang tue phak naah loe, Kami boih angmacae vangpui hoi angmacae prae ah caeh o boih ah, tiah misatuh kaminawk thungah lok taphonghaih to sak o.
37 And he died the king and he came Samaria and people buried the king in Samaria.
Siangpahrang loe duek moe, Samaria ah aput o pacoengah, to ah aphum o.
38 And someone washed off the chariot at - [the] pool of Samaria and they licked up the dogs blood his and the prostitutes they bathed according to [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken.
Samaria ih tuili maeto ah, maiphaw maica hoi hrangleengnawk to pasaeh o. Angraeng mah thuih ih lok baktih toengah, uinawk mah anih ih athii to palaeh o.
39 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Ahab and all that he did and [the] house of ivory which he built and all the cities which he built ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Ahab siangpahrang ah oh nathung kaom hmuennawk hoi a sak ih hmuennawk, tasaino hoi sak ih siangpahrang im, sipae hoi thungh ih vangpuinawk loe, Israel siangpahrangnawk ahmin pakuemhaih cabu thungah tarik o na ai maw?
40 And he lay down Ahab with ancestors his and he became king Ahaziah son his in place of him.
Ahab loe ampanawk khaeah anghak; anih zuengah a capa Ahaziah to siangpahrang ah oh.
41 And Jehoshaphat [the] son of Asa he became king over Judah in year four of Ahab [the] king of Israel.
Israel siangpahrang Ahab siangpahrang ah ohhaih saning palito naah, Asa capa Jehosaphat to Judah siangpahrang ah oh.
42 Jehoshaphat [was] a son of thirty and five year[s] when became king he and twenty and five year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Azubah [the] daughter of Shilhi.
Jehosaphat siangpahrang ah oh naah, saning quithumto pacoeng, saning pangato oh boeh; anih loe Jerusalem ah saning pumphae pangato thung siangpahrang ah oh. Amno ih ahmin loe, Shilhi canu Azubah.
43 And he walked in all [the] way of Asa father his not he turned aside from it to do the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh. Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and making smoke at the high places.

44 And he made peace Jehoshaphat with [the] king of Israel.
Jehosaphat loe Israel siangpahrang hoi angdaehhaih to sak.
45 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jehoshaphat and might his which he did and which he waged war ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
Jehosaphat siangpahrang ah oh nathung kaom hmuennawk, a thacakhaih hoi misa angtukhaihnawk loe, Judah siangpahrangnawk ahmin pakuemhaih cabu thungah tarik o na ai maw?
46 And [the] rest of the cult prostitute[s] which it remained in [the] days of Asa father his he destroyed from the land.
Anih loe ampa Asa hing nathung kaom kanghmat tangyat zaw nongpanawk to prae thung hoiah haek boih.
47 And [was] a king there not in Edom a deputy [was] king.
To naah Edom ah siangpahrang om ai; siangpahrang bomkung mah ni prae to uk.
48 Jehoshaphat (he made *Q(K)*) ships of Tarshish to go Ophir towards for gold and not it went for (they were broken *Q(K)*) [the] ships at Ezion Geber.
Jehosaphat loe Ophir ah sui phawh hanah Tarshish palongpui to sak; toe palongpui loe Ezion-Geber vangpui ah amro ving pongah, vaito doeh tuipui hoiah kholong caeh vai ai.
49 Then he said Ahaziah [the] son of Ahab to Jehoshaphat let them go servants my with servants your in [the] ships and not he was willing Jehoshaphat.
To naah Ahab capa Ahaziah mah Jehosaphat khaeah, Na tamnanawk hoi kai ih tamnanawk palongpui thungah nawnto caeh o nasoe, tiah a naa. Toe Jehosaphat mah angmak pae.
50 And he lay down Jehoshaphat with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David ancestor his and he became king Jehoram son his in place of him.
To pacoengah Jehosaphat loe ampanawk khaeah anghak moe, ampa David vangpui thungah aphum o. Anih zuengah a capa Jehoram to siangpahrang ah oh.
51 Ahaziah [the] son of Ahab he became king over Israel in Samaria in year seven-teen of Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah and he reigned over Israel two years.
Judah siangpahrang Jehosaphat siangpahrang ah ohhaih saning hatlaisarihto naah, Ahab capa Ahaziah to Israel siangpahrang ah oh; saning hnetto thung Israel siangpahrang ah oh.
52 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he walked in [the] way of father his and in [the] way of mother his and in [the] way of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat who he caused to sin Israel.

53 And he served Baal and he bowed down to it and he provoked to anger Yahweh [the] God of Israel according to all that he had done father his.
