< 1 Kings 19 >
1 And he told Ahab to Jezebel all that he had done Elijah and all that he had killed all the prophets with the sword.

2 And she sent Jezebel a messenger to Elijah saying thus may they do! [the] gods and thus may they add! if about this time tomorrow I will make life your like [the] life of one from them.

5 And he lay down and he slept under a broom plant one and there! this an angel [was] touching him and he said to him arise eat.

6 And he looked and there! [was] [the] place of head his a bread cake of hot coals and a jug of water and he ate and he drank and he returned and he lay down.
Ɔhwɛɛ ne ho hyia huu brodo bi a wɔato no nnyansramma so, ne kuruwa a nsu wɔ mu. Enti odidii, nom nsu no, san daa bio.
7 And he returned [the] angel of Yahweh - a second [time] and he touched him and he said arise eat for [is too] great for you the journey.

8 And he arose and he ate and he drank and he went in [the] strength of - the food that forty day[s] and forty night[s] to [the] mountain of God Horeb.

9 And he went there into the cave and he spent [the] night there and there! [the] word of Yahweh [was] to him and he said to him what? [is] to you here O Elijah.

10 And he said certainly I have been zealous for Yahweh - [the] God of hosts for they have forsaken covenant your [the] people of Israel altars your they have torn down and prophets your they have killed with the sword and I am left I to alone me and they have sought life my to take away it.
Elia buae se, “Mede ahoɔden asom Asafo Awurade Nyankopɔn. Nanso Israelfo abu apam a wɔne wo hyehyɛe no so, nam so abubu wʼafɔremuka nyinaa, akunkum wʼadiyifo a anka obiara. Me nko ara na maka, nanso wɔrehwehwɛ me akum me nso.”
11 And he said go out and you will stand on the mountain before Yahweh and there! Yahweh [was] passing by and a wind great and strong [was] tearing mountains and breaking rocks before Yahweh not [was] in the wind Yahweh and [was] after the wind an earthquake not [was] in the earthquake Yahweh.
Awurade ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Fi adi kogyina mʼanim wɔ bepɔw no so.” Na bere a Elia gyina hɔ no, Awurade bɛfaa hɔ, na mframa dennen bi bɔ sii bepɔw no mu. Na mframa no ano den no twitwaa abotan no mu. 12 And [was] after the earthquake a fire not [was] in the fire Yahweh and [was] after the fire a sound of a whisper soft.
Na asasewosow no akyi, ogya puei. Nanso na Awurade nni ogya no mu. Na ogya no akyi, nne bi a ɛyɛ bɔkɔɔ te sɛ nea wɔde ka asomsɛm bae.
13 And it was - when heard Elijah and he wrapped face his in cloak his and he went out and he stood [the] entrance of the cave and there! [was] to him a voice and it said what? [is] to you here O Elijah.

15 And he said Yahweh to him go go back to way your [the] wilderness of towards Damascus and you will go and you will anoint Hazael to king over Aram.
Na Awurade ka kyerɛɛ no se, “San wʼakyi kɔ faako a wufi bae, na kɔ Damasko sare so. Na sɛ wudu hɔ a, sra Hasael ngo, si no Aramhene.
16 And Jehu [the] son of Nimshi you will anoint to king over Israel and Elisha [the] son of Shaphat from Abel Meholah you will anoint to prophet in place of you.
Afei, sra Nimsi babarima Yehu, na ɔnyɛ Israelhene, na sra Safat babarima Elisa a ofi Abel-Mehola, na onsi wʼanan mu sɛ me diyifo.
17 And it will be the [one who] escapes from [the] sword of Hazael he will put to death Jehu and the [one who] escapes from [the] sword of Jehu he will put to death Elisha.

18 And I will leave among Israel seven thousand all the knees which not they have bowed down to Baal and every mouth which not it has kissed it.

20 And he left the ox[en] and he ran after Elijah and he said I want to kiss please father my and mother my and I will go after you and he said to him go turn back for what? have I done to you.
Elisa gyaw anantwi no hɔ, tuu mmirika dii Elia akyi, ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Ma menkɔkra mʼagya ne me na ansa na me ne wo akɔ.” Elia buae se, “San kɔ. Dɛn na mayɛ wo?”
21 And he turned back from after him and he took [the] pair of the ox[en] and he sacrificed it and with [the] equipment of the ox[en] he cooked them the flesh and he gave [it] to the people and they ate and he arose and he went after Elijah and he served him.
Afei, Elisa san kɔɔ anantwi no ho kokunkum wɔn. Ɔde funtumfiri no ho nnua no yɛɛ nnyansin de noaa nam no de maa mmarima no ma wɔwee. Afei ɔkɔ kodii Elia akyi ma ɔbɛyɛɛ ne somfo.
