1 Kings 18
1 And it was days many and [the] word of Yahweh it came to Elijah in the year third saying go present yourself to Ahab so let me give rain on [the] surface of the ground.
| و بعد از روزهای بسیار، کلام خداونددر سال سوم، به ایلیا نازل شده، گفت: «برو و خود را به اخاب بنما و من بر زمین باران خواهم بارانید.» | ۱ |
2 And he went Elijah to present himself to Ahab and the famine [was] severe in Samaria.
| پس ایلیا روانه شد تا خود را به اخاب بنماید و قحط در سامره سخت بود. | ۲ |
3 And he summoned Ahab Obadiah who [was] over the household and Obadiah he was fearing Yahweh exceedingly.
| واخاب عوبدیا را که ناظر خانه او بود، احضار نمودو عوبدیا از خداوند بسیار می‌ترسید. | ۳ |
4 And it was when cut off Jezebel [the] prophets of Yahweh and he took Obadiah one hundred prophets and he hid them fifty man in the cave and he supplied them food and water.
| و هنگامی که ایزابل انبیای خداوند را هلاک می‌ساخت، عوبدیا صد نفر از انبیا را گرفته، ایشان را پنجاه پنجاه در مغاره پنهان کرد و ایشان را به نان و آب پرورد. | ۴ |
5 And he said Ahab to Obadiah go in the land to all [the] springs of water and to all the wadis perhaps - we will find grass so we may preserve alive horse and mule and not we will cut off any of the livestock.
| و اخاب به عوبدیا گفت: «در زمین نزدتمامی چشمه های آب و همه نهرها برو که شایدعلف پیدا کرده، اسبان و قاطران را زنده نگاه داریم و همه بهایم از ما تلف نشوند.» | ۵ |
6 And they divided to themselves the land to pass in it Ahab he went in a direction one to only him and Obadiah he went in a direction one to only him.
| پس زمین را درمیان خود تقسیم کردند تا در آن عبور نمایند؛ اخاب به یک راه تنها رفت، و عوبدیا به راه دیگر، تنها رفت. | ۶ |
7 And he was Obadiah on the way and there! Elijah to meet him and he recognized him and he fell on face his and he said ¿ you [is] this O lord my Elijah.
| و چون عوبدیا در راه بود، اینک ایلیا بدوبرخورد و او وی را شناخته، به روی خود درافتاده، گفت: «آیا آقای من ایلیا، تو هستی؟» | ۷ |
8 And he said to him [it is] I go say to master your here! Elijah.
| او را جواب داد که «من هستم، برو و به آقای خودبگو که اینک ایلیاست.» | ۸ |
9 And he said what? have I sinned that you [are] giving servant your in [the] hand of Ahab to put to death me.
| گفت: «چه گناه کرده‌ام که بنده خود را به‌دست اخاب تسلیم می‌کنی تامرا بکشد. | ۹ |
10 [by] [the] life - Of Yahweh God your if there [is] a nation and a kingdom where not he has sent master my there to seek you and they said not and he made swear the kingdom and the nation that not it has found you.
| به حیات یهوه، خدای تو قسم که قومی و مملکتی نیست، که آقایم به جهت طلب تو آنجا نفرستاده باشد و چون می‌گفتند که اینجانیست به آن مملکت و قوم قسم می‌داد که تو رانیافته‌اند. | ۱۰ |
11 And now you [are] saying go say to master your here! Elijah.
| و حال می‌گویی برو به آقای خودبگو که اینک ایلیاست؟ | ۱۱ |
12 And it will be I - I will go from with you and [the] spirit of Yahweh - it will carry away you to where not I know and I will go to tell to Ahab and not he will find you and he will kill me and servant your [is] fearing Yahweh since youth my.
| و واقع خواهد شد که چون از نزد تو رفته باشم، روح خداوند تو را به‌جایی که نمی دانم، بردارد و وقتی که بروم و به اخاب خبر دهم و او تو را نیابد، مرا خواهد کشت. و بنده ات از طفولیت خود از خداوند می‌ترسد. | ۱۲ |
13 ¿ Not has it been told to lord my [that] which I did when killed Jezebel [the] prophets of Yahweh and I hid of [the] prophets of Yahweh one hundred man fifty fifty man in the cave and I supplied them food and water.
| مگر آقایم اطلاع ندارد از آنچه من هنگامی که ایزابل انبیای خداوند را می‌کشت کردم، که چگونه صد نفر از انبیای خداوند را پنجاه پنجاه در مغاره‌ای پنهان کرده، ایشان را به نان و آب پروردم. | ۱۳ |
14 And now you [are] saying go say to master your here! Elijah and he will kill me.
| و حال تو می‌گویی برو و آقای خود رابگو که اینک ایلیاست؟ و مرا خواهد کشت.» | ۱۴ |
15 And he said Elijah [by] [the] life of Yahweh of hosts whom I stand before him for this day I will present myself to him.
| ایلیا گفت: «به حیات یهوه، صبایوت که به حضور وی ایستاده‌ام قسم که خود را امروز به وی ظاهر خواهم نمود.» | ۱۵ |
16 And he went Obadiah to meet Ahab and he told to him and he went Ahab to meet Elijah.
| پس عوبدیا برای ملاقات اخاب رفته، او را خبر داد و اخاب به جهت ملاقات ایلیا آمد. | ۱۶ |
17 And it was when saw Ahab Elijah and he said Ahab to him ¿ you [is] this O [one who] troubles Israel.
| و چون اخاب ایلیا را دید، اخاب وی راگفت: «آیا تو هستی که اسرائیل را مضطرب می‌سازی؟» | ۱۷ |
18 And he said not I have troubled Israel that except you and [the] household of father your because have forsaken you [the] commandments of Yahweh and you have walked after the Baals.
| گفت: «من اسرائیل را مضطرب نمی سازم، بلکه تو و خاندان پدرت، چونکه اوامرخداوند را ترک کردید و تو پیروی بعلیم رانمودی. | ۱۸ |
19 And now send gather to me all Israel to [the] mountain of Carmel and [the] prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty and [the] prophets of Asherah four hundred [who] eat of [the] table of Jezebel.
| پس الان بفرست و تمام اسرائیل را نزد من بر کوه کرمل جمع کن و انبیای بعل را نیزچهارصد و پنجاه نفر، و انبیای اشیریم راچهارصد نفر که بر سفره ایزابل می‌خورند.» | ۱۹ |
20 And he sent Ahab among all [the] people of Israel and he gathered the prophets to [the] mountain of Carmel.
| پس اخاب نزد جمیع بنی‌اسرائیل فرستاده، انبیا را بر کوه کرمل جمع کرد. | ۲۰ |
21 And he drew near Elijah to all the people and he said until when? [will] you [be] limping on [the] two the crutches if Yahweh [is] God walk after him and if Baal walk after him and not they answered the people him a word.
| و ایلیابه تمامی قوم نزدیک آمده، گفت: «تا به کی درمیان دو فرقه می‌لنگید؟ اگر یهوه خداست، او راپیروی نمایید! و اگر بعل است، وی را پیروی نمایید!» اما قوم در جواب او هیچ نگفتند. | ۲۱ |
22 And he said Elijah to the people I I am left a prophet of Yahweh to alone me and [the] prophets of Baal [are] four hundred and fifty man.
| پس ایلیا به قوم گفت: من تنها نبی یهوه باقی‌مانده‌ام وانبیای بعل چهارصد و پنجاه نفرند. | ۲۲ |
23 And let people give to us two young bulls and let them choose for themselves the young bull one and let them cut in pieces it and they may put on the wood and fire not they will set and I I will prepare - the young bull one and I will put on the wood and fire not I will set.
| پس به مادو گاو بدهند و یک گاو به جهت خود انتخاب کرده، و آن را قطعه قطعه نموده، آن را بر هیزم بگذارند و آتش ننهند و من گاو دیگر را حاضرساخته، بر هیزم می‌گذارم و آتش نمی نهم. | ۲۳ |
24 And you will call on [the] name of god your and I I will call on [the] name of Yahweh and he will be the god who he will answer by fire he God and it answered all the people and they said [is] good the word.
| وشما اسم خدای خود را بخوانید و من نام یهوه راخواهم خواند و آن خدایی که به آتش جواب دهد، او خدا باشد.» و تمامی قوم در جواب گفتند: «نیکو گفتی.» | ۲۴ |
25 And he said Elijah to [the] prophets of Baal choose for yourselves the young bull one and prepare [it] first for you [are] the many and call on [the] name of god your and fire not you will set.
| پس ایلیا به انبیای بعل گفت: «یک گاو برای خود انتخاب کرده، شما اول آن را حاضر سازید زیرا که بسیار هستید و به نام خدای خود بخوانید، اما آتش نگذارید.» | ۲۵ |
26 And they took the young bull which someone gave to them and they prepared [it] and they called on [the] name of Baal from the morning and until the noontide saying O Baal answer us and there not [was] a sound and there not [was one who] answered and they limped around at the altar which he had made.
| پس گاو را که به ایشان داده شده بود، گرفتند و آن راحاضر ساخته، نام بعل را از صبح تا ظهر خوانده، می‌گفتند: «ای بعل ما را جواب بده.» لیکن هیچ صدا یا جوابی نبود و ایشان بر مذبحی که ساخته بودند، جست و خیز می‌نمودند. | ۲۶ |
27 And it was at the noontide and he mocked them Elijah and he said call out with a voice great for [is] a god he for musing and for a going away [belongs] to him and for a journey [belongs] to him perhaps [is] sleeping he so he may awake.
| و به وقت ظهر، ایلیا ایشان را مسخره نموده، گفت: «به آوازبلند بخوانید زیرا که او خداست! شاید متفکراست یا به خلوت رفته، یا در سفر می‌باشد، یاشاید که در خواب است و باید او را بیدار کرد!» | ۲۷ |
28 And they called out with a voice great and they cut themselves according to custom their with swords and with lances until poured out blood over them.
| و ایشان به آواز بلند می‌خواندند و موافق عادت خود خویشتن را به تیغها و نیزه‌ها مجروح می‌ساختند به حدی که خون بر ایشان جاری می‌شد. | ۲۸ |
29 And it was when passed the noontide and they prophesied until goes up the offering and there not [was] a sound and there not [was one who] answered and there not [was] attention.
| و بعد از گذشتن ظهر تا وقت گذرانیدن هدیه عصری ایشان نبوت می‌کردند لیکن نه آوازی بود و نه کسی‌که جواب دهد یا توجه نماید. | ۲۹ |
30 And he said Elijah to all the people draw near to me and they drew near all the people to him and he repaired [the] altar of Yahweh that was torn down.
| آنگاه ایلیا به تمامی قوم گفت: «نزد من بیایید.» و تمامی قوم نزد وی آمدند و مذبح یهوه را که خراب شده بود، تعمیر نمود. | ۳۰ |
31 And he took Elijah two [plus] ten stones according to [the] number of [the] tribes of [the] sons of Jacob whom it had come [the] word of Yahweh to him saying Israel it will be name your.
| و ایلیاموافق شماره اسباط بنی یعقوب که کلام خداوندبر وی نازل شده، گفته بود که نام تو اسرائیل خواهد بود، دوازده سنگ گرفت. | ۳۱ |
32 And he built the stones an altar in [the] name of Yahweh and he made a trench like a receptacle of two seahs seed around the altar.
| و به آن سنگها مذبحی به نام یهوه بنا کرد و گرداگرد مذبح خندقی که گنجایش دو پیمانه بزر داشت، ساخت. | ۳۲ |
33 And he arranged the wood and he cut it in pieces the young bull and he put [it] on the wood. And he said fill four jars water and pour [it] on the burnt offering and on the wood
| و هیزم را ترتیب داد و گاو را قطعه قطعه نموده، آن را بر هیزم گذاشت. پس گفت: «چهار خم از آب پر کرده، آن را بر قربانی سوختنی و هیزم بریزید.» | ۳۳ |
34 and he said do again and they did again and he said do a third time and they did a third time.
| پس گفت: «بار دیگربکنید، » و گفت: «بار سوم بکنید.» و بار سوم کردند. | ۳۴ |
35 And they went the waters around the altar and also the trench he filled water.
| و آب گرداگرد مذبح جاری شد وخندق نیز از آب پر گشت. | ۳۵ |
36 And it was - when went up the offering and he drew near Elijah the prophet and he said O Yahweh [the] God of Abraham Isaac and Israel this day let it be known that you [are] God in Israel and I [am] servant your (and at word your *Q(K)*) I have done all the things these.
| و در وقت گذرانیدن هدیه عصری، ایلیای نبی نزدیک آمده، گفت: «ای یهوه، خدای ابراهیم و اسحاق و اسرائیل، امروز معلوم بشود که تو دراسرائیل خدا هستی و من بنده تو هستم و تمام این کارها را به فرمان تو کرده‌ام. | ۳۶ |
37 Answer me O Yahweh answer me so they may know the people this that you O Yahweh [are] God and you you have turned around heart their backwards.
| مرا اجابت فرما‌ای خداوند! مرا اجابت فرما تا این قوم بدانند که تویهوه خدا هستی و اینکه دل ایشان را باز پس گردانیدی.» | ۳۷ |
38 And it fell [the] fire of Yahweh and it consumed the burnt offering and the wood and the stones and the dust and the water which [was] in the trench it licked up.
| آنگاه آتش یهوه افتاده، قربانی سوختنی و هیزم و سنگها و خاک را بلعید و آب را که در خندق بود، لیسید. | ۳۸ |
39 And it saw all the people and they fell on faces their and they said Yahweh he [is] God Yahweh he [is] God.
| و تمامی قوم چون این را دیدند به روی خود افتاده، گفتند: «یهوه، اوخداست! یهوه او خداست!» | ۳۹ |
40 And he said Elijah to them seize - [the] prophets of Baal anyone may not he escape of them and they seized them and he brought down them Elijah to [the] wadi of Kishon and he slaughtered them there.
| و ایلیا به ایشان گفت: «انبیای بعل را بگیرید و یکی از ایشان رهایی نیابد.» پس ایشان را گرفتند و ایلیا ایشان رانزد نهر قیشون فرود آورده، ایشان را در آنجاکشت. | ۴۰ |
41 And he said Elijah to Ahab go up eat and drink for [the] sound of [the] noise of rain.
| و ایلیا به اخاب گفت: «برآمده، اکل وشرب نما.» زیرا که صدای باران بسیار می‌آید. | ۴۱ |
42 And he went up Ahab to eat and to drink and Elijah he went up to [the] top of Carmel and he crouched [the] ground towards and he put face his between (knees his. *Q(K)*)
| پس اخاب برآمده، اکل و شرب نمود. و ایلیا برقله کرمل برآمد و به زمین خم شده، روی خود رابه میان زانوهایش گذاشت. | ۴۲ |
43 And he said to servant his go up please look [the] direction of [the] sea and he went up and he looked and he said there not [is] anything and he said go back seven times.
| و به خادم خودگفت: «بالا رفته، به سوی دریا نگاه کن.» و او بالارفته، نگریست و گفت که چیزی نیست و او گفت: «هفت مرتبه دیگر برو.» | ۴۳ |
44 And it was at the seventh [time] and he said there! a cloud small like [the] hand of a person [is] coming up from [the] sea and he said go up say to Ahab harness and go down and not it will hold back you the rain.
| و در مرتبه هفتم گفت که «اینک ابری کوچک به قدر کف دست آدمی ازدریا برمی آید.» او گفت: «برو و به اخاب بگو که ارابه خود را ببند و فرود شو مبادا باران تو را مانع شود.» | ۴۴ |
45 And it was - until thus and until thus and the heavens they grew dark clouds and wind and it was rain great and he rode Ahab and he went Jezreel towards.
| و واقع شد که در اندک زمانی آسمان ازابر غلیظ و باد، سیاه فام شد، و باران سخت بارید واخاب سوار شده، به یزرعیل آمد. | ۴۵ |
46 And [the] hand of Yahweh it was to Elijah and he girded up loins his and he ran before Ahab until coming you Jezreel towards.
| و دست خداوند بر ایلیا نهاده شده، کمر خود را بست وپیش روی اخاب دوید تا به یزرعیل رسید. | ۴۶ |
