1 Kings 17
1 And he said Elijah the Tishbite one of [the] resident aliens of Gilead to Ahab [by] [the] life of Yahweh [the] God of Israel whom I stand before him if it will be the years these dew and rain that except to [the] mouth of word my.
Ê-li ở Thi-sê-be, là một người trong bọn đã sang ngụ Ga-la-át, nói với A-háp rằng: Ta đứng trước mặt Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời của Y-sơ-ra-ên hằng sống mà thề rằng: Mấy năm về sau đây, nếu ta chẳng nói, chắc sẽ không có sương, cũng không có mưa.
2 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to him saying.
Đoạn có lời của Đức Giê-hô-va phán dạy người rằng:
3 Go from here and you will turn yourself east-ward and you will hide yourself at [the] wadi of Kerith which [is] on [the] face of the Jordan.
Hãy đi khỏi đây, qua phía đông, và ẩn ngươi bên khe Kê-rít, đối ngang Giô-đanh.
4 And it will be from the wadi you will drink and the ravens I have commanded to supply you there.
Ngươi sẽ uống nước của khe, và ta đã truyền cho chim quạ nuôi ngươi tại đó.
5 And he went and he did according to [the] word of Yahweh and he went and he dwelt at [the] wadi of Kerith which [is] on [the] face of the Jordan.
Vậy, Ê-li đi, vâng theo lời của Đức Giê-hô-va, và đến ở nơi mé khe Kê-rít đối ngang Giô-đanh.
6 And the ravens [were] bringing to him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening and from the wadi he drank.
Buổi mai và buổi chiều chim quạ đem bánh và thịt cho người; và người uống nước khe.
7 And it was from [the] end of days and it dried up the wadi for not it had been rain in the land.
Nhưng trong ít lâu, thì khe bị khô, vì trong xứ không có mưa.
8 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to him saying.
Bấy giờ, có lời của Đức Giê-hô-va phán dạy Ê-li rằng:
9 Arise go Zarephath towards which [belongs] to Sidon and you will dwell there here! I have commanded there a woman a widow to supply you.
Hãy chổi dậy, đi đến Sa-rép-ta, thành thuộc về Si-đôn, và ở tại đó; kìa, ta đã truyền cho một người góa bụa ở thành ấy lo nuôi ngươi.
10 And he arose - and he went Zarephath towards and he came to [the] entrance of the city and there! there a woman a widow [was] gathering wood and he called out to her and he said get please for me a little of water in vessel so I may drink.
Vậy, người đứng dậy đi đến Sa-rép-ta. Khi đến cửa thành, người thấy một người đàn bà góa lượm củi, bèn kêu mà nói rằng: Ta xin ngươi hãy đi múc một chút nước trong bình để cho ta uống.
11 And she went to get [it] and he called out to her and he said get please for me a piece of bread in hand your.
Nàng bèn đi múc nước. Nhưng người kêu lại và nói với nàng rằng: Cũng hãy đem trong tay ngươi cho ta một miếng bánh nữa.
12 And she said [by] [the] life of Yahweh God your if there to me [is] food that except [the] fullness of a palm of flour in jar and a little of oil in jug and here I [am] gathering two wood and I will go and I will prepare it for myself and for son my and we will eat it and we will die.
Nàng đáp: Tôi chỉ mạng sống của Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời của ông mà thề, tôi không có bánh, chỉ có một nắm bột trong vò và một chút dầu trong bình; này tôi lượm hai khúc củi, đoạn về nấu dọn cho tôi và con trai tôi; khi ăn rồi, chúng tôi sẽ chết.
13 And he said to her Elijah may not you fear go do according to word your only make for me from there a bread cake small at first and you will bring [it] out to me and for yourself and for son your you will prepare at the last.
Nhưng Ê-li tiếp rằng: Chớ sợ chi, hãy trở về, làm y như ngươi đã nói; song trước hãy dùng bột ấy làm cho ta một cái bánh nhỏ, rồi đem ra cho ta; kế sau ngươi sẽ làm cho ngươi và cho con trai ngươi.
14 For thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel [the] jar of flour not it will be at an end and [the] jug of oil not it will be lacking until [the] day (gives *Q(k)*) Yahweh rain on [the] surface of the ground.
Vì Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời của Y-sơ-ra-ên phán như vậy: Bột sẽ không hết trong vò, và dầu sẽ không thiếu trong bình, cho đến ngày Đức Giê-hô-va giáng mưa xuống đất.
15 And she went and she did according to [the] word of Elijah and she ate (she and he *Q(K)*) and household her days.
Vậy, nàng đi và làm theo điều Ê-li nói. Nàng và nhà nàng, luôn với Ê-li ăn trong lâu ngày.
16 [the] jar of Flour not it was at an end and [the] jug of oil not it was lacking according to [the] word of Yahweh which he spoke by [the] hand of Elijah.
Bột chẳng hết trong vò, dầu không thiếu trong bình, y như lời Đức Giê-hô-va đã cậy miệng Ê-li mà phán ra.
17 And it was after the things these he became sick [the] son of the woman [the] mistress of the house and it was sickness his severe very until that not it was left in him breath.
Sau một ít lâu, con trai của người đàn bà, tức là chủ nhà, bị đau; bịnh rất nặng đến đỗi trong mình nó chẳng còn hơi thở.
18 And she said to Elijah what? [is] to me and to you O man of God you have come to me to bring to remembrance iniquity my and to put to death son my.
Người đàn bà bèn nói với Ê-li rằng: Hỡi người của Đức Chúa Trời, tôi với ông có việc chi chăng? Có phải ông đến nhà tôi đặng nhắc lại những tội lỗi tôi và giết con tôi chăng?
19 And he said to her give to me son your and he took him from bosom her and he took up him to the upper room where he [was] dwelling there and he made lie him on bed his.
Người đáp với nàng rằng: hãy giao con nàng cho ta. Người bồng nó khỏi tay mẹ nó, đem lên phòng cao, chỗ người ở, và để nó nằm trên giường mình.
20 And he called out to Yahweh and he said O Yahweh God my ¿ also on the widow whom I [am] staying as a sojourner with her have you done harm by putting to death son her.
Đoạn, người kêu cầu cùng Đức Giê-hô-va mà rằng: Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời tôi ôi! cớ sao Ngài giáng tai họa trên người đàn bà góa này, nhà nàng là nơi tôi trú ngụ, mà giết con trai người đi?
21 And he stretched himself over the lad three times and he called out to Yahweh and he said O Yahweh God my let it return please [the] life of the lad this to inward part[s] his.
Người nằm ấp trên mình con trẻ ba lần, lại kêu cầu cùng Đức Giê-hô-va nữa mà rằng: Oâi Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời tôi! xin Chúa khiến linh hồn của đứa trẻ này trở lại trong mình nó.
22 And he listened Yahweh to [the] voice of Elijah and it returned [the] life of the lad to inward part[s] his and he lived.
Đức Giê-hô-va nhậm lời của Ê-li; linh hồn của đứa trẻ trở lại trong mình nó, và nó sống lại.
23 And he took Elijah the lad and he brought down him from the upper room the house towards and he gave him to mother his and he said Elijah see [is] alive son your.
Ê-li bồng đứa trẻ, đi xuống lầu, vào trong nhà dưới, giao cho mẹ nó mà nói rằng: Hãy xem, con nàng sống.
24 And she said the woman to Elijah now this I know that [are] a man of God you and [the] word of Yahweh in mouth your [is] truth.
Nàng bèn nói cùng Ê-li rằng: Bây giờ tôi nhìn biết ông là một người của Đức Chúa Trời, và lời phán của Đức Giê-hô-va ở trong miệng ông là thật.
