1 Kings 16
1 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jehu [the] son of Hanani on Baasha saying.
Zvino shoko raJehovha rakasvika kuna Jehu mwanakomana waHanani richipikisana naBhaasha richiti,
2 Because that I raised up you from the dust and I made you a ruler over people my Israel and you have walked - in [the] way of Jeroboam and you have caused to sin people my Israel to provoke to anger me by sins their.
“Ndakakusimudza kubva muguruva ndikakuita mutungamiri wavanhu vangu Israeri, asi wakafamba munzira dzaJerobhoamu ukaita kuti vanhu vangu Israeri vaite chivi, nokuita kuti nditsamwe nokuda kwezvivi zvavo.
3 Here I [am] about to sweep away after Baasha and after house his and I will make house your like [the] house of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat.
Naizvozvo ndava kuda kuparadza Bhaasha neimba yake, uye ndichaita kuti imba yako ifanane neimba yaJerobhoamu mwanakomana waNebhati.
4 The [one who] dies of Baasha in the city they will devour the dogs and the [one who] dies of him in the open country they will devour [the] bird[s] of the heavens.
Imbwa dzichadya vose vaBhaasha vachafira muguta, uye shiri dzedenga dzichadya avo vachafira kusango.”
5 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Baasha and [that] which he did and might his ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Kana zviri zvimwe zvakaitika panguva yokutonga kwaBhaasha, nesimba rake, hazvina kunyorwa here mubhuku renhoroondo dzegore negore dzamadzimambo eIsraeri?
6 And he lay down Baasha with ancestors his and he was buried in Tirzah and he became king Elah son his in place of him.
Bhaasha akazorora namadzibaba ake uye akavigwa muTiza. Zvino Era, mwanakomana wake, akamutevera paumambo.
7 And also by [the] hand of Jehu [the] son of Hanani the prophet [the] word of Yahweh it came against Baasha and against house his and on all the evil - which he had done - in [the] eyes of Yahweh to provoke to anger him by [the] work of hands his to be like [the] house of Jeroboam and on that he struck down it.
Pamusoro paizvozvo, shoko raJehovha rakauyawo nokumuprofita Jehu mwanakomana waHanani kuna Bhaasha neimba yake, nokuda kwezvakaipa zvose zvaakanga aita pamberi paJehovha achimutsamwisa nezvaakaita, achifanana neimba yaJerobhoamu, uyewo nokuti akaiparadza.
8 In year twenty and six year of Asa [the] king of Judah he became king Elah [the] son of Baasha over Israel in Tirzah two years.
Mugore ramakumi maviri namatanhatu raAsa mambo weJudha, Era, mwanakomana waBhaasha akava mambo weIsraeri, uye akatonga muTiza kwamakore maviri.
9 And he conspired on him servant his Zimri [the] commander of half of the chariotry and he in Tirzah [was] drinking drunken [the] house of Arza who [was] over the household in Tirzah.
Zimuri, mumwe wamachinda ake, aitungamirira hafu yengoro dzake, akamumukira. Era akanga ari muTiza panguva iyoyo, achidhakwa zvake pamba paAza, murume aichengeta muzinda wamambo paTiza.
10 And he came Zimri and he struck down him and he killed him in year twenty and seven of Asa [the] king of Judah and he became king in place of him.
Zimuri akapinda, akamubaya akamuuraya, mugore ramakumi maviri namanomwe raAsa, mambo weJudha. Ipapo akabva amutevera paumambo.
11 And it was when became king he when sat he on throne his he struck down all [the] house of Baasha not he left to him [one who] urinates on a wall and kinsman redeemer his and friend his.
Paakatanga kutonga, achangogara pachigaro choushe, akauraya mhuri yose yaBhaasha. Haana kusiya murume mumwe chete, hama kana shamwari.
12 And he destroyed Zimri all [the] house of Baasha according to [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken against Baasha by [the] hand of Jehu the prophet.
Saizvozvo Zimuri akaparadza mhuri yose yaBhaasha, sezvakanga zvarehwa neshoko raJehovha rakataurwa richipikisa Bhaasha nokumuprofita Jehu,
13 Because of all [the] sins of Baasha and [the] sins of Elah son his which they sinned and which they caused to sin Israel to provoke to anger Yahweh [the] God of Israel with vanities their.

14 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Elah and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

15 In year twenty and seven year of Asa [the] king of Judah he became king Zimri seven days in Tirzah and the people [were] encamped on Gibbethon which [belonged] to the Philistines.

16 And it heard the people that were encamping saying he has conspired Zimri and also he has struck down the king and they made king all Israel Omri [the] commander of [the] army over Israel on the day that in the camp.
VaIsraeri vakanga vari kumisasa pavakanzwa kuti Zimuri akanga amukira mambo akamuuraya, vakagadza Omuri mutungamiri wehondo, kuti ave mambo weIsraeri musi iwoyo mumusasa.
17 And he went up Omri and all Israel with him from Gibbethon and they laid siege on Tirzah.
Zvino Omuri, navaIsraeri vose vaaiva navo, vakabva kuGibhetoni vakauya kuzokomba Tiza.
18 And it was when saw Zimri that it was captured the city and he went into [the] fortress of [the] house of the king and he burned over himself [the] house of [the] king with fire and he died.
Zimuri paakaona kuti guta rakanga ratorwa, akaenda kunhare yomuzinda wamambo akabva azvipisira mumuzinda. Naizvozvo akafa,
19 On (sins his *Q(K)*) which he sinned by doing the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh by walking in [the] way of Jeroboam and in sin his which he did to cause to sin Israel.
nokuda kwezvivi zvaakanga aita, achiita zvakaipa pamberi paJehovha uye achifamba munzira dzaJerobhoamu nomuchivi chaakanga aita, uye nechivi chaakanga aita kuti Israeri iite.
20 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Zimri and conspiracy his which he conspired ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Kana zviri zvimwe zvakaitika panguva yokutonga kwaZimuri, nokumukira kwake kwaakaita, hazvina kunyorwa here mubhuku renhoroondo dzegore negore dzamadzimambo aIsraeri?
21 Then it was divided the people Israel into the half half of the people it was behind Tibni [the] son of Ginath to make king him and half [was] behind Omri.
Ipapo vanhu veIsraeri vakaparadzana vakaita zvikwata zviviri; hafu ikatevera Tibhini, mwanakomana waGinati, kuti ave mambo, uye imwe hafu ikatevera Omuri.
22 And it prevailed over the people which [was] after Omri the people which [was] after Tibni [the] son of Ginath and he died Tibni and he became king Omri.
Asi vateveri vaOmuri vakakunda vateveri vaTibhini, mwanakomana waGinati. Saka Tibhini akafa, Omuri akava mambo.
23 In year thirty and one year of Asa [the] king of Judah he became king Omri over Israel two [plus] ten year[s] in Tirzah he reigned six years.
Mugore ramakumi matatu nerimwe raAsa, mambo weJudha, Omuri akava mambo weIsraeri, uye akatonga kwamakore gumi namaviri, matanhatu acho muTiza.
24 And he bought the hill Samaria from with Shemer for two talents silver and he built the hill and he called [the] name of the city which he built on [the] name of Shemer [the] owner of the hill Samaria.
Akatenga gomo reSamaria kubva kuna Shemeri namatarenda maviri esirivha uye akavaka guta pagomo iri, achiritumidza kuti Samaria, zvichibva pana Shemeri, zita rouyo aimbova muridzi wegomo.
25 And he did Omri the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he did evil more than all [those] who [were] before him.
Asi Omuri akaita zvakaipa pamberi paJehovha, akatadza kupfuura vose vakanga vamutangira.
26 And he walked in all [the] way of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat (and in sin his *Q(K)*) which he caused to sin Israel to provoke to anger Yahweh [the] God of Israel with vanities their.
Akafamba munzira dzose dzaJerobhoamu mwanakomana waNebhati nomuchivi chake, chaakaita kuti Israeri iite, zvokuti vakaita kuti Jehovha, Mwari waIsraeri, atsamwe nokuda kwezvifananidzo zvavo zvisina maturo.
27 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Omri which he did and might his which he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

28 And he lay down Omri with ancestors his and he was buried in Samaria and he became king Ahab son his in place of him.
Omuri akazorora namadzibaba ake akavigwa muSamaria. Uye Ahabhu mwanakomana wake akamutevera paumambo.
29 And Ahab [the] son of Omri he became king over Israel in year thirty and eight year of Asa [the] king of Judah and he reigned Ahab [the] son of Omri over Israel in Samaria twenty and two year[s].
Mugore ramakumi matatu namasere raAsa, mambo weJudha, Ahabhu, mwanakomana waOmuri, akava mambo weIsraeri, uye akatonga Israeri muSamaria kwamakore makumi maviri namaviri.
30 And he did Ahab [the] son of Omri the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh more than all [those] who [were] before him.
Ahabhu, mwanakomana waOmuri, akaita zvakaipa pamberi paJehovha kupfuura vose vakamutangira.
31 And it was ¿ was it trifling to walk he in [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat and he took a wife Jezebel [the] daughter of Ethbaal [the] king of [the] Sidonians and he went and he served Baal and he bowed down to it.

32 And he set up an altar to Baal [the] house of Baal which he built in Samaria.

33 And he made Ahab Asherah pole and he increased Ahab to do to provoke to anger Yahweh [the] God of Israel more than all [the] kings of Israel who they were before him.
Ahabhu akagadzirawo danda raAshera akaita kuti Jehovha, Mwari waIsraeri, atsamwe kupfuura zvakaita madzimambo akamutangira.
34 In days his he rebuilt Hiel [the] Beth-elite Jericho by Abiram firstborn his he founded it (and by Segub *Q(K)*) young [son] his he set up gates its according to [the] word of Yahweh which he spoke by [the] hand of Joshua [the] son of Nun.
