1 Kings 16
1 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jehu [the] son of Hanani on Baasha saying.
পরে বাশার বিষয়ে সদাপ্রভুর এই বাক্য হনানির ছেলে যেহূর কাছে এসেছিল:
2 Because that I raised up you from the dust and I made you a ruler over people my Israel and you have walked - in [the] way of Jeroboam and you have caused to sin people my Israel to provoke to anger me by sins their.
“আমি তোমায় ধুলো থেকে তুলে এনে আমার প্রজা ইস্রায়েলের উপর রাজপদে নিযুক্ত করলাম, কিন্তু তুমিও যারবিয়ামের পথে চলেছ ও আমার প্রজা ইস্রায়েলকে দিয়ে পাপ করিয়ে, তাদের সেই পাপের মাধ্যমে আমার ক্রোধ জাগিয়ে তুলেছ।
3 Here I [am] about to sweep away after Baasha and after house his and I will make house your like [the] house of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat.
তাই আমি বাশা ও তার কুলকে অবলুপ্ত করতে চলেছি, ও আমি তোমার কুলকেও নবাটের ছেলে যারবিয়ামের কুলের মতো করে দেব।
4 The [one who] dies of Baasha in the city they will devour the dogs and the [one who] dies of him in the open country they will devour [the] bird[s] of the heavens.
বাশার কুলভুক্ত যে কেউ নগরে মরবে, তাকে কুকুরেরা খাবে এবং যে কেউ গ্রামাঞ্চলে মরবে, তাকে পাখিরা ঠুকরে ঠুকরে খাবে।”
5 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Baasha and [that] which he did and might his ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
বাশার রাজত্বকালের অন্যান্য সব ঘটনা, তিনি যা যা করলেন ও তাঁর সব কীর্তির বিবরণ কি ইস্রায়েলের রাজাদের ইতিহাস-গ্রন্থে লেখা নেই?
6 And he lay down Baasha with ancestors his and he was buried in Tirzah and he became king Elah son his in place of him.
বাশা তাঁর পূর্বপুরুষদের সঙ্গে চিরবিশ্রামে শায়িত হলেন ও তাঁকে তির্সায় কবর দেওয়া হল। তাঁর ছেলে এলা রাজারূপে তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হলেন।
7 And also by [the] hand of Jehu [the] son of Hanani the prophet [the] word of Yahweh it came against Baasha and against house his and on all the evil - which he had done - in [the] eyes of Yahweh to provoke to anger him by [the] work of hands his to be like [the] house of Jeroboam and on that he struck down it.
এছাড়াও, হনানির ছেলে ভাববাদী যেহূর মাধ্যমেও সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য বাশা ও তাঁর কুলের কাছে এসেছিল, যেহেতু সদাপ্রভুর দৃষ্টিতে তিনি প্রচুর মন্দ কাজ করলেন, ও সেইসব কাজ করার দ্বারা তাঁর ক্রোধ জাগিয়ে তুলেছিলেন, অর্থাৎ যারবিয়ামের কুলের মতোই হয়ে গেলেন—তথা তিনি সেই কুল ধ্বংসও করে দিলেন।
8 In year twenty and six year of Asa [the] king of Judah he became king Elah [the] son of Baasha over Israel in Tirzah two years.
যিহূদার রাজা আসার রাজত্বের ষষ্ঠবিংশতিতম বছরে বাশার ছেলে এলা ইস্রায়েলে রাজা হলেন, এবং তির্সায় তিনি দুই বছর রাজত্ব করলেন।
9 And he conspired on him servant his Zimri [the] commander of half of the chariotry and he in Tirzah [was] drinking drunken [the] house of Arza who [was] over the household in Tirzah.
তাঁর কর্মকর্তাদের মধ্যে একজন ছিলেন সিম্রি। এলার অধিকারে থাকা রথের অর্ধেক সংখ্যক রথের উপর তিনি সেনাপতি পদে নিযুক্ত ছিলেন। তিনিই এলার বিরুদ্ধে ষড়যন্ত্র করলেন। এলা সেই সময় তির্সায় রাজপ্রাসাদের প্রশাসক অর্সার ঘরে মাতাল হয়ে পড়েছিলেন।
10 And he came Zimri and he struck down him and he killed him in year twenty and seven of Asa [the] king of Judah and he became king in place of him.
যিহূদার রাজা আসার রাজত্বের সপ্তবিংশতিতম বছরে সিম্রি এসে এলাকে আঘাত করে মাটিতে ফেলে দিয়ে তাঁকে হত্যা করলেন। পরে তিনি রাজারূপে তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হলেন।
11 And it was when became king he when sat he on throne his he struck down all [the] house of Baasha not he left to him [one who] urinates on a wall and kinsman redeemer his and friend his.
রাজত্বের শুরুতে সিংহাসনে বসেই তিনি বাশার কুলের সবাইকে হত্যা করলেন। আত্মীয়স্বজন বা বন্ধুবান্ধব, তা সে যেই হোক না কেন, তিনি কোনো পুরুষমানুষকেই নিষ্কৃতি দেননি।
12 And he destroyed Zimri all [the] house of Baasha according to [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken against Baasha by [the] hand of Jehu the prophet.
অতএব ভাববাদী যেহূর মাধ্যমে সদাপ্রভু যে কথা বললেন, সেই কথানুসারে, সিম্রি বাশার সম্পূর্ণ কুল ধ্বংস করে দিলেন—
13 Because of all [the] sins of Baasha and [the] sins of Elah son his which they sinned and which they caused to sin Israel to provoke to anger Yahweh [the] God of Israel with vanities their.
বাশা ও তাঁর ছেলে এলা যেসব পাপ করলেন ও ইস্রায়েলকে দিয়েও যা করিয়েছিলেন, সেগুলির কারণেই এমনটি হল, এবং তারা তাদের নির্গুণ প্রতিমার মূর্তিগুলি দিয়ে ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর ক্রোধ জাগিয়ে তুলেছিলেন।
14 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Elah and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
এলার রাজত্বকালের অন্যান্য সব ঘটনা, ও তিনি যা যা করলেন, তার বিবরণ কি ইস্রায়েলের রাজাদের ইতিহাস-গ্রন্থে লেখা নেই?
15 In year twenty and seven year of Asa [the] king of Judah he became king Zimri seven days in Tirzah and the people [were] encamped on Gibbethon which [belonged] to the Philistines.
যিহূদার রাজা আসার সপ্তবিংশতিতম বছরে সিম্রি সাত দিন তির্সায় রাজত্ব করলেন। সৈন্যদল ফিলিস্তিনী এক নগর গিব্বথোনের কাছে শিবির করে ছিল।
16 And it heard the people that were encamping saying he has conspired Zimri and also he has struck down the king and they made king all Israel Omri [the] commander of [the] army over Israel on the day that in the camp.
সৈন্যশিবিরের ইস্রায়েলীরা যখন শুনতে পেয়েছিল যে সিম্রি রাজার বিরুদ্ধে ষড়যন্ত্র করে তাঁকে খুন করেছেন, তখন তারা সেদিনই সৈন্যশিবিরের মধ্যে সৈন্যদলের সেনাপতি অম্রিকে ইস্রায়েলের রাজা বলে ঘোষণা করে দিয়েছিল।
17 And he went up Omri and all Israel with him from Gibbethon and they laid siege on Tirzah.
পরে অম্রি ও তাঁর সাথে থাকা ইস্রায়েলীরা সবাই গিব্বথোন থেকে পিছিয়ে এসে তির্সার বিরুদ্ধে অবরোধ গড়ে তুলেছিলেন।
18 And it was when saw Zimri that it was captured the city and he went into [the] fortress of [the] house of the king and he burned over himself [the] house of [the] king with fire and he died.
সিম্রি যখন দেখেছিলেন যে নগরটি বেদখল হয়ে যাচ্ছে, তখন তিনি রাজপ্রাসাদের দুর্গের ভিতর চলে গিয়ে প্রাসাদে নিজের চারপাশে আগুন ধরিয়ে দিলেন। এইভাবে
19 On (sins his *Q(K)*) which he sinned by doing the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh by walking in [the] way of Jeroboam and in sin his which he did to cause to sin Israel.
তাঁর করা পাপের কারণে, সদাপ্রভুর দৃষ্টিতে মন্দ কাজ করার এবং যারবিয়ামের পথানুগামী হওয়ার ও যারবিয়াম ইস্রায়েলকে দিয়ে যে পাপ করিয়েছিলেন, সেই একই পাপ করার কারণে তাঁকে মরতে হল।
20 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Zimri and conspiracy his which he conspired ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
সিম্রির রাজত্বকালের অন্যান্য সব ঘটনা, ও যে বিদ্রোহ তিনি সম্পাদন করলেন, তার বিবরণ কি ইস্রায়েলের রাজাদের ইতিহাস-গ্রন্থে লেখা নেই?
21 Then it was divided the people Israel into the half half of the people it was behind Tibni [the] son of Ginath to make king him and half [was] behind Omri.
তখন ইস্রায়েলী জনতা দুই ভাগে বিভক্ত হয়ে গেল; অর্ধেক লোক গীনতের ছেলে তিবনিকে রাজা করতে চাইছিল, ও অর্ধেক লোক অম্রিকে রাজা করতে চাইছিল।
22 And it prevailed over the people which [was] after Omri the people which [was] after Tibni [the] son of Ginath and he died Tibni and he became king Omri.
কিন্তু অম্রির অনুগামীরা গীনতের ছেলে তিবনির অনুগামীদের তুলনায় বেশি শক্তিশালী প্রতিপন্ন হল। তাই তিবনি মারা গেলেন ও অম্রি রাজা হয়ে গেলেন।
23 In year thirty and one year of Asa [the] king of Judah he became king Omri over Israel two [plus] ten year[s] in Tirzah he reigned six years.
যিহূদার রাজা আসার একত্রিশতম বছরে অম্রি ইস্রায়েলের রাজা হলেন, এবং তিনি বারো বছর রাজত্ব করলেন, যার মধ্যে ছয় বছর তিনি তির্সায় রাজত্ব করলেন।
24 And he bought the hill Samaria from with Shemer for two talents silver and he built the hill and he called [the] name of the city which he built on [the] name of Shemer [the] owner of the hill Samaria.
তিনি দুই তালন্ত রুপোর বিনিময়ে শমরিয়া পাহাড়টি শেমরের কাছ থেকে কিনে নিয়েছিলেন ও সেটির উপরে একটি নগর নির্মাণ করেছিলেন এবং সেই পাহাড়টির পূর্বতন মালিক শেমরের নামানুসারে সেটির নাম রেখেছিলেন শমরিয়া।
25 And he did Omri the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he did evil more than all [those] who [were] before him.
কিন্তু অম্রি সদাপ্রভুর দৃষ্টিতে যা মন্দ, তাই করলেন এবং তাঁর আগে যারা রাজা হলেন, তাদের সবার তুলনায় আরও বেশি পাপ করলেন।
26 And he walked in all [the] way of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat (and in sin his *Q(K)*) which he caused to sin Israel to provoke to anger Yahweh [the] God of Israel with vanities their.
তিনি পুরোপুরি নবাটের ছেলে যারবিয়ামের পথানুগামী হলেন, অর্থাৎ যারবিয়াম ইস্রায়েলকে দিয়ে যে পাপ করিয়েছিলেন, সেই একই পাপ করে তিনিও ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর ক্রোধ জাগিয়ে তুলেছিলেন, যেমনটি তারা তাদের অকেজো প্রতিমার মূর্তিগুলির দ্বারা করল।
27 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Omri which he did and might his which he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
অম্রির রাজত্বকালের অন্যান্য সব ঘটনা, তিনি যা যা করলেন এবং যা যা অর্জন করলেন, তার বিবরণ কি ইস্রায়েলের রাজাদের ইতিহাস-গ্রন্থে লেখা নেই?
28 And he lay down Omri with ancestors his and he was buried in Samaria and he became king Ahab son his in place of him.
অম্রি তাঁর পূর্বপুরুষদের সঙ্গে চিরবিশ্রামে শায়িত হলেন ও তাঁকে শমরিয়ায় কবর দেওয়া হল। তাঁর ছেলে আহাব রাজারূপে তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হলেন।
29 And Ahab [the] son of Omri he became king over Israel in year thirty and eight year of Asa [the] king of Judah and he reigned Ahab [the] son of Omri over Israel in Samaria twenty and two year[s].
যিহূদার রাজা আসার আটত্রিশতম বছরে অম্রির ছেলে আহাব ইস্রায়েলের রাজা হলেন, এবং তিনি শমরিয়ায় ইস্রায়েলের উপর বাইশ বছর রাজত্ব করলেন।
30 And he did Ahab [the] son of Omri the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh more than all [those] who [were] before him.
অম্রির ছেলে আহাব, তাঁর আগে যতজন রাজা হলেন, তাদের তুলনায় সদাপ্রভুর দৃষ্টিতে আরও বেশি মন্দ কাজ করলেন।
31 And it was ¿ was it trifling to walk he in [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat and he took a wife Jezebel [the] daughter of Ethbaal [the] king of [the] Sidonians and he went and he served Baal and he bowed down to it.
নবাটের ছেলে যারবিয়াম যে পাপ করলেন, তা করাকেই যে শুধু তিনি নগণ্য বলে মনে করলেন, তা নয়, কিন্তু তিনি আবার সীদোনীয়দের রাজা ইৎবায়ালের মেয়ে ঈষেবলকেও বিয়ে করলেন, এবং বায়ালদেবের সেবা ও পূজার্চনা করতে শুরু করলেন।
32 And he set up an altar to Baal [the] house of Baal which he built in Samaria.
শমরিয়ায় তিনি বায়ালদেবের একটি মন্দির তৈরি করে সেখানে বায়ালের একটি যজ্ঞবেদিও খাড়া করে দিলেন।
33 And he made Ahab Asherah pole and he increased Ahab to do to provoke to anger Yahweh [the] God of Israel more than all [the] kings of Israel who they were before him.
এছাড়াও আহাব একটি আশেরা-খুঁটি তৈরি করলেন এবং ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর ক্রোধ জাগিয়ে তোলার জন্য তাঁর আগে ইস্রায়েলে যতজন রাজা হলেন, তাদের তুলনায় আরও বেশি মন্দ কাজ করলেন।
34 In days his he rebuilt Hiel [the] Beth-elite Jericho by Abiram firstborn his he founded it (and by Segub *Q(K)*) young [son] his he set up gates its according to [the] word of Yahweh which he spoke by [the] hand of Joshua [the] son of Nun.
আহাবের রাজত্বকালে, বেথেলের হীয়েল যিরীহো নগরটির পুনর্নির্মাণ করল। সদাপ্রভু, নূনের ছেলে যিহোশূয়ের মাধ্যমে যা বললেন, সেই কথানুসারে নগরটির ভিত্তি গাঁথার জন্য হীয়েলকে তার প্রথমজাত ছেলে অবীরামকে হারাতে হল, এবং ছোটো ছেলে সগূবকে বিসর্জন দিয়ে তিনি ফটকগুলি খাড়া করলেন।
