1 Kings 15
1 And in year eight-teen of the king Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat he became king Abijam over Judah.
Et la dix-huitième année du roi Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, Abijam commença de régner sur Juda.
2 Three years he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Maacah [the] daughter of Abishalom.
Il régna trois ans à Jérusalem; et le nom de sa mère était Maaca, fille d’Abishalom.
3 And he walked in all [the] sins of father his which he had done before him and not it was heart his complete with Yahweh God his like [the] heart of David ancestor his.
Et il marcha dans tous les péchés de son père, que celui-ci avait pratiqués avant lui; et son cœur ne fut pas parfait avec l’Éternel, son Dieu, comme le cœur de David, son père.
4 For for [the] sake of David he gave Yahweh God his to him a lamp in Jerusalem by raising up son his after him and by establishing Jerusalem.
Toutefois, à cause de David, l’Éternel, son Dieu, lui donna une lampe à Jérusalem, établissant son fils après lui, et faisant subsister Jérusalem;
5 That he had done David the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh and not he had turned aside from all that he had commanded him all [the] days of life his only in [the] matter of Uriah the Hittite.
parce que David avait fait ce qui est droit aux yeux de l’Éternel, et ne s’était détourné de rien de ce qu’il lui avait commandé, tous les jours de sa vie, excepté dans l’affaire d’Urie, le Héthien.
6 And war it was between Rehoboam and between Jeroboam all [the] days of life his.
Et il y eut guerre entre Roboam et Jéroboam, tous les jours de sa vie.
7 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Abijam and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah and war it was between Abijam and between Jeroboam.
Et le reste des actes d’Abijam, et tout ce qu’il fit, cela n’est-il pas écrit dans le livre des chroniques des rois de Juda? Et il y eut guerre entre Abijam et Jéroboam.
8 And he lay down Abijam with ancestors his and people buried him in [the] city of David and he became king Asa son his in place of him.
Et Abijam s’endormit avec ses pères, et on l’enterra dans la ville de David; et Asa, son fils, régna à sa place.
9 And in year twenty of Jeroboam [the] king of Israel he became king Asa [the] king of Judah.
Et en la vingtième année de Jéroboam, roi d’Israël, Asa commença de régner sur Juda;
10 And forty and one year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Maacah [the] daughter of Abishalom.
et il régna 41 ans à Jérusalem; et le nom de sa mère était Maaca, fille d’Abishalom.
11 And he did Asa the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh like David ancestor his.
Et Asa fit ce qui est droit aux yeux de l’Éternel, comme David, son père;
12 And he made to pass away the male cult prostitutes from the land and he removed all the idols which they had made ancestors his.
et il fit disparaître du pays les hommes voués à la prostitution, et ôta toutes les idoles que ses pères avaient faites.
13 And also - Maacah mother his and he removed her from queen-mother that she had made an abominable image to Asherah pole and he cut down Asa abominable image her and he burned [it] in [the] wadi of Kidron.
Et même à Maaca, sa mère, il ôta sa position de reine, parce qu’elle avait fait un simulacre pour Ashère; et Asa abattit son simulacre, et le brûla dans la vallée du Cédron.
14 And the high places not they were removed only [the] heart of Asa it was complete with Yahweh all days his.
Mais les hauts lieux ne furent pas ôtés; cependant le cœur d’Asa fut parfait avec l’Éternel, tous ses jours.
15 And he brought [the] holy things of father his (and [the] holy things *Q(K)*) [the] house of Yahweh silver and gold and utensils.
Et il apporta dans la maison de l’Éternel les choses saintes de son père et les choses que lui-même avait consacrées, de l’argent, et de l’or, et des ustensiles.
16 And war it was between Asa and between Baasha [the] king of Israel all days their.
Et il y eut guerre entre Asa et Baësha, roi d’Israël, tous leurs jours.
17 And he came up Baasha [the] king of Israel on Judah and he built Ramah to not [surely] permitting [any] escaping and coming to Asa [the] king of Judah.
Et Baësha, roi d’Israël, monta contre Juda; et il bâtit Rama, afin de ne permettre à personne de sortir de chez Asa, roi de Juda, ou d’entrer vers lui.
18 And he took Asa all the silver and the gold which remained - in [the] treasuries of [the] house of Yahweh and [the] treasures of [the] house of (the king *Q(K)*) and he gave them in [the] hand of servants his and he sent them the king Asa to Ben Hadad [the] son of Tabrimmon [the] son of Hezion [the] king of Aram who dwelt in Damascus saying.
Et Asa prit tout l’argent et l’or qui restaient dans les trésors de la maison de l’Éternel et dans les trésors de la maison du roi, et les mit entre les mains de ses serviteurs; et le roi Asa les envoya à Ben-Hadad, fils de Tabrimmon, fils de Hézion, roi de Syrie, qui habitait à Damas, disant:
19 A covenant [be] between me and between you between father my and between father your here! I send to you a gift silver and gold come break! covenant your with Baasha [the] king of Israel so he may go up from on me.
Il y a alliance entre moi et toi, entre mon père et ton père; voici, je t’envoie un présent d’argent et d’or: va, romps ton alliance avec Baësha, roi d’Israël, afin qu’il s’en aille d’auprès de moi.
20 And he listened Ben Hadad to the king Asa and he sent [the] commanders of the armies which [belonged] to him on [the] cities of Israel and he struck Ijon and Dan and Abel Beth Maacah and all Kinnereth with all [the] land of Naphtali.
Et Ben-Hadad écouta le roi Asa, et envoya les chefs de ses troupes contre les villes d’Israël, et il frappa Ijon, et Dan, et Abel-Beth-Maaca, et tout Kinneroth avec tout le pays de Nephthali.
21 And it was when heard Baasha and he ceased from building Ramah and he remained in Tirzah.
Et il arriva, quand Baësha l’apprit, qu’il se désista de bâtir Rama, et il habita à Thirtsa.
22 And the king Asa he made proclamation to all Judah there not [was] an exempt [person] and they carried off [the] stones of Ramah and wood its which he had built Baasha and he built with them the king Asa Geba of Benjamin and Mizpah.
Et le roi Asa convoqua tout Juda; personne n’était exempté; et ils emportèrent les pierres de Rama, et les bois avec lesquels Baësha bâtissait; et le roi Asa en bâtit Guéba de Benjamin et Mitspa.
23 And [the] rest of all [the] matters of Asa and all might his and all that he did and the cities which he built ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah only to [the] time of old age his he was sick feet his.
Et le reste de tous les actes d’Asa, et toute sa puissance, et tout ce qu’il fit, et les villes qu’il bâtit, cela n’est-il pas écrit dans le livre des chroniques des rois de Juda? Seulement, au temps de sa vieillesse, il fut malade des pieds.
24 And he lay down Asa with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David ancestor his and he became king Jehoshaphat son his in place of him.
Et Asa s’endormit avec ses pères; et il fut enterré avec ses pères dans la ville de David, son père; et Josaphat, son fils, régna à sa place.
25 And Nadab [the] son of Jeroboam he became king over Israel in year two of Asa [the] king of Judah and he reigned over Israel two years.
Et Nadab, fils de Jéroboam, commença de régner sur Israël la seconde année d’Asa, roi de Juda; et il régna sur Israël deux ans.
26 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he walked in [the] way of father his and in sin his which he caused to sin Israel.
Et il fit ce qui est mauvais aux yeux de l’Éternel, et marcha dans la voie de son père et dans son péché par lequel il avait fait pécher Israël.
27 And he conspired on him Baasha [the] son of Ahijah of [the] house of Issachar and he struck down him Baasha at Gibbethon which [belonged] to the Philistines and Nadab and all Israel [were] laying siege on Gibbethon.
Et Baësha, fils d’Akhija, de la maison d’Issacar, conspira contre lui; et Baësha le frappa à Guibbethon, qui était aux Philistins, pendant que Nadab et tout Israël assiégeaient Guibbethon.
28 And he killed him Baasha in year three of Asa [the] king of Judah and he became king in place of him.
Et Baësha le mit à mort la troisième année d’Asa, roi de Juda, et régna à sa place.
29 And it was when became king he he struck down all [the] house of Jeroboam not he left any breathing thing of Jeroboam until he had destroyed it according to [the] word of Yahweh which he spoke by [the] hand of servant his Ahijah Shilonite.
Et il arriva que, quand il fut roi, il frappa toute la maison de Jéroboam; il ne laissa de Jéroboam personne qui respire, jusqu’à ce qu’il ait détruit sa maison selon la parole de l’Éternel qu’il avait dite par son serviteur Akhija, le Silonite,
30 On [the] sins of Jeroboam which he sinned and which he caused to sin Israel by provocation his which he provoked to anger Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
à cause des péchés de Jéroboam, qu’il avait commis et par lesquels il avait fait pécher Israël, par sa provocation par laquelle il avait provoqué l’Éternel, le Dieu d’Israël.
31 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Nadab and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Et le reste des actes de Nadab, et tout ce qu’il fit, cela n’est-il pas écrit dans le livre des chroniques des rois d’Israël?
32 And war it was between Asa and between Baasha [the] king of Israel all days their.
Et il y eut guerre entre Asa et Baësha, roi d’Israël, tous leurs jours.
33 In year three of Asa [the] king of Judah he became king Baasha [the] son of Ahijah over all Israel in Tirzah twenty and four year[s].
La troisième année d’Asa, roi de Juda, Baësha, fils d’Akhija, commença de régner sur tout Israël, à Thirtsa, [et il régna] 24 ans.
34 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he walked in [the] way of Jeroboam and in sin his which he caused to sin Israel.
Et il fit ce qui est mauvais aux yeux de l’Éternel, et marcha dans la voie de Jéroboam, et dans son péché par lequel il avait fait pécher Israël.
