1 Kings 14
1 At the time that he became sick Abijah [the] son of Jeroboam.
Ved det bilet vart Abia, son åt Jerobeam, sjuk.
2 And he said Jeroboam to wife his arise please and you will disguise yourself and not people will know that (you *Q(K)*) [are] [the] wife of Jeroboam and you will go Shiloh there! [is] there Ahijah the prophet he he spoke on me to king over the people this.
Då sagde Jerobeam til kona si: «Tak og klæd deg ut, so ingen vert vis med at du er kona åt Jerobeam, og gakk so til Silo! Der bur profeten Ahia, han som tala um at eg skulde verta konge yver dette folket.
3 And you will take in hand your ten bread[s] and cakes and a jar of honey and you will go to him he he will tell to you what? will it happen to the lad.
Tak med deg ti brød og kakor og ei krukka med honning og gakk inn til honom! Han skal vitra deg um korleis det skal ganga med guten.»
4 And she did thus [the] wife of Jeroboam and she arose and she went Shiloh and she went [the] house of Ahijah and Ahijah not he was able to see for they were fixed eyes his from old age his.
Og kona åt Jerobeam gjorde so; ho tok ut til Silo og kom til huset åt Ahia. Men Ahia kunde ikkje sjå; for augo hans var star-blinde av alderdom.
5 And Yahweh he had said to Ahijah here! [the] wife of Jeroboam [is] about to come to seek a word from with you concerning son her for [is] sick he like this and like this you will speak to her and it may be when comes she and she [will be] acted as a stranger.
Men Herren hadde sagt til Ahia: «Kona åt Jerobeam kjem og vil spyrja deg ut um son sin, for han er sjuk. Det og det skal du segja med henne. Når ho kjem, vil ho bera seg åt liksom ho var framand.»
6 And it was when heard Ahijah [the] sound of feet her coming in the entrance and he said come O wife of Jeroboam why? this [are] you acting as a stranger and I [have been] sent to you hard.
Då no Ahia høyrde fotstigi hennar i det same ho kom inn døri, sagde han: «Kom inn, du kona åt Jerobeam! Kvi ber du deg åt liksom du var framand? Eg er send til deg med eit hardt bod.
7 Go say to Jeroboam thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel because that I raised up you from among the people and I made you a ruler over people my Israel.
Gakk og seg til Jerobeam: «So segjer Herren, Israels Gud: «Eg hev lyft deg upp or folket og sett deg til fyrste yver folket mitt, Israel,
8 And I tore away the kingdom from [the] house of David and I gave it to you and not you have been like servant my David who he kept commandments my and who he walked after me with all heart his to do only the right in view my.
og rive riket ifrå Davids hus og gav det til deg. Men du hev ikkje stelt deg som tenaren min, David; han heldt bodi mine og fylgde meg av alt sitt hjarta, so han gjorde einast det som rett var i mine augo;
9 And you have done evil to act more than all [those] who they were before you and you have gone and you have made for yourself gods other and molten images to provoke to anger me and me you have cast behind back your.
men du hev gjort meir vondt enn alle som hev vore fyre deg; du hev gjenge av og laga deg andre gudar, støypte bilæte, for å harma meg, og meg hev du kasta attum ryggen din.
10 Therefore here I [am] about to bring calamity to [the] house of Jeroboam and I will cut off to Jeroboam [one who] urinates on a wall shut up and freed in Israel and I will sweep away behind [the] house of Jeroboam just as someone sweeps away dung until is complete it.
Difor vil eg lata ulukka koma yver Jerobeams hus og rydja ut kvar ein karmann av ætti hans både, både ufri og fri i Israel, og eg skal sopa etter Jerobeams hus plent som ein sopar burt skarn, til dess det ingen ting er att av det.
11 The [one who] dies of Jeroboam in the city they will devour the dogs and the [one who] dies in the open country they will devour [the] bird[s] of the heavens for Yahweh he has spoken.
Den av Jerobeams hus som døyr i byen, skal hundarne eta upp, og den som døyr utpå marki, skal fuglane under himmelen eta upp. For soleis hev Herren tala.»»
12 And you arise go to house your when go feet your the city towards and he will die the child.
Gakk no du heim att! Når føterne stig inn i byen, so døyr barnet.
13 And they will mourn for him all Israel and they will bury him for this [one] to only him he will go of Jeroboam into a grave because it was found in him something good to Yahweh [the] God of Israel in [the] house of Jeroboam.
Og heile Israel skal halda syrgjehøgtid for honom, og dei skal gravleggja honom; for av Jerobeams hus er han den einaste som skal koma i ei grav, etter di han var den einaste i Jerobeams hus som det var noko godt hjå imot Herren, Israels Gud.
14 And he will raise up Yahweh for himself a king over Israel who he will cut off [the] house of Jeroboam this the day and what? also now.
Men Herren skal setja seg ein konge yver Israel, som skal rydja ut Jerobeams hus. Dette er dagen, og no skal det henda.
15 And he will strike down Yahweh Israel just as it sways reed in the water and he will pluck up Israel from on the ground good this which he gave to ancestors their and he will scatter them from [the] other side of the River because that they have made Asherah poles their provoking to anger Yahweh.

16 So he may give up Israel on account of [the] sins of Jeroboam which he has sinned and which he has caused to sin Israel.

17 And she arose [the] wife of Jeroboam and she went and she came Tirzah towards she [was] coming at [the] threshold of the house and the lad he died.
Då reis kona åt Jerobeam upp og gjekk sin veg og kom til Tirsa, og med same ho steig yver dørstokken i huset, døydde guten.
18 And they buried him and they mourned for him all Israel according to [the] word of Yahweh which he spoke by [the] hand of servant his Ahijah the prophet.
Og dei gravlagde honom, og heile Israel heldt syrgjehøgtid for honom, etter det ord som Herren hadde tala ved tenaren sin, profeten Ahia.
19 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jeroboam which he waged war and which he reigned there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
Det som elles er å fortelja um Jerobeam, um krigerne hans og styringi hans, det er uppskrive i krønikeboki åt Israels-kongarne.
20 And the days which he reigned Jeroboam [were] twenty and two year[s] and he lay down with ancestors his and he became king Nadab son his in place of him.
Styringstidi åt Jerobeam var tvo og tjuge år. So lagde han seg til kvile hjå federne sine, og Nadab, son hans, vart konge i staden hans.
21 And Rehoboam [the] son of Solomon he reigned in Judah [was] a son of forty and one year[s] Rehoboam when became king he and seven-teen year[s] - he reigned in Jerusalem the city where he had chosen Yahweh to put name his there from all [the] tribes of Israel and [the] name of mother his [was] Naamah the Ammonite [woman].
Men Rehabeam, son åt Salomo, var konge i Juda; ein og fyrti år var Rehabeam då han vart konge, og syttan år styrde han i Jerusalem, den byen som Herren hadde valt ut av alle Israels ætter til bustad for namnet sitt. Mor hans var ei ammonitkvinna som heitte Na’ama.
22 And it did Judah the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and they made jealous him more than all that they had done ancestors their by sins their which they sinned.
Og Juda gjorde det som vondt var i Herrens augo; med dei synder dei gjorde, vekte dei brennhugen hans meir enn federne deira hadde gjort.
23 And they built also they for themselves high places and sacred pillars and Asherah poles on every hill high and under every tree luxuriant.
Dei og bygde seg offerhaugar og laga til stolpar og asjeror på kvar ein høg bakke og under kvart eit grønt tre;
24 And also cult prostitute[s] he was in the land they did according to all the abominations of the nations which he had dispossessed Yahweh from before [the] people of Israel.
ja, det var jamvel utukt-sveinar i landet. Dei heldt på med all styggedomen hjå dei folki som Herren hadde jaga undan for Israels-sønerne.
25 And it was in the year fifth of the king Rehoboam he came up (Shishak *Q(K)*) [the] king of Egypt on Jerusalem.
I femte styringsåret åt Rehabeam drog egyptarkongen Sisak upp imot Jerusalem.
26 And he took [the] treasures of [the] house of Yahweh and [the] treasures of [the] house of the king and everything he took and he took all [the] shields of gold which he had made Solomon.
Og han tok skattarne i Herrens hus og skattarne i kongshuset; alt saman tok han. Han tok alle gullskjoldarne og, som Salomo hadde late gjera.
27 And he made the king Rehoboam in place of them shields of bronze and he entrusted [them] on [the] hand of [the] commanders of the runners who guarded [the] entrance of [the] house of the king.
I deira stad fekk kong Rehabeam gjort koparskjoldar og gav deim i varveitsla til hovdingarne for livvakti, dei som heldt vakt ved inngangen til kongshuset;
28 And it was as often as went the king [the] house of Yahweh they carried them the runners and they returned them to [the] guardroom of the runners.
og kvar gong kongen gjekk til Herrens hus, bar vaktmennerne deim og tok deim so attende til vaktstova.
29 And [the] rest of [the] matters of Rehoboam and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
Det som elles er å fortelja um Rehabeam, um alt det han gjorde, det er uppskrive i krønikeboki åt Juda-kongarne.
30 And war it was between Rehoboam and between Jeroboam all the days.
Millom Rehabeam og Jerobeam var det ufred stødt.
31 And he lay down Rehoboam with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David and [the] name of mother his [was] Naamah the Ammonite [woman] and he became king Abijam son his in place of him.
Og Rehabeam lagde seg til kvile hjå federne sine, og vart gravlagd hjå federne sine i Davidsbyen. Mor hans heitte Na’ama, ammonitkvinna. Og Abiam, son hans, vart konge i staden hans.
