1 Kings 10
1 And [the] queen of Sheba [was] hearing [the] report of Solomon to [the] name of Yahweh and she came to put to [the] test him by difficult matters.
Cuando la reina de Sabá oyó la fama de Salomón, que se debió al Nombre de Yavé, vino para probarlo con preguntas difíciles.
2 And she came Jerusalem towards with a retinue numerous very camels carrying spices and gold much very and stone[s] precious and she came to Solomon and she spoke to him all that it was with heart her.
Llegó a Jerusalén con un gran séquito, camellos cargados de especias aromáticas, oro en gran abundancia y piedras preciosas. Cuando llegó a Salomón, habló con él de todo lo que tenía en su corazón.
3 And he told to her Solomon all words her not it was anything hidden from the king which not he told to her.
Salomón respondió todas sus preguntas, y no hubo cosa difícil que el rey no le pudiera responder.
4 And she saw [the] queen of Sheba all [the] wisdom of Solomon and the house which he had built.
La reina de Sabá, al escuchar toda la sabiduría de Salomón y ver el palacio que edificó,
5 And [the] food of table his and [the] seating of servants his and [the] standing of (servants his *Q(K)*) and clothes their and cup-bearers his and burnt offering[s] his which he offered up [the] house of Yahweh and not it was in her still breath.
los manjares de su mesa, los asientos de sus esclavos, la presentación y las ropas de sus esclavos y coperos, y los holocaustos que él ofrecía en la Casa de Yavé, quedó sin aliento,
6 And she said to the king truth it was the word which I heard in own land my on words your and on wisdom your.
y dijo al rey: ¡Es verdad lo que oí en mi tierra acerca de tus hechos y de tu sabiduría!
7 And not I believed the words until that I came and they saw eyes my and here! not it was told to me the half you have added wisdom and good to the report which I heard.
No creía lo que me decían hasta que vine y mis ojos lo ven. Ciertamente no se me dijo ni aun la mitad. Tú superas en sabiduría y bienes lo que oí de tu fama.
8 How blessed! [are] people your how blessed! [are] servants your these who stand before you continually who hear wisdom your.
¡Dichosos tus hombres, dichosos estos esclavos tuyos que están de continuo delante te ti y oyen tu sabiduría!
9 May he be Yahweh God your blessed who he delights in you to put you on [the] throne of Israel because loves Yahweh Israel for ever and he has appointed you to king to do justice and righteousness.
¡Bendito sea Yavé tu ʼElohim, Quien se agradó de ti para establecerte en el trono de Israel! Por causa del eterno amor que Yavé tiene a Israel, te constituyó rey para que practiques la equidad y la justicia.
10 And she gave to the king one hundred and twenty - talent[s] of gold and spices much very and stone[s] precious not it has come like the spice that again to abundance which she gave [the] queen of Sheba to the king Solomon.
Ella [le] dio al rey cuatro toneladas de oro, gran cantidad de especias aromáticas y piedras preciosas. Nunca más llegó tanta abundancia de especias aromáticas como las que la reina de Sabá llevó al rey Salomón.
11 And also [the] ship[s] of Hiram which it carried gold from Ophir it brought from Ophir wood of almug much very and stone[s] precious.
También la flota de Hiram llevaba oro de Ofir y transportaba gran cantidad de madera de sándalo y piedras preciosas de Ofir.
12 And he made the king [the] wood of the almug support[s] for [the] house of Yahweh and for [the] house of the king and harps and lyres for the singers not it has come thus wood of almug and not it has been seen until the day this.
El rey hizo columnas con la madera de sándalo para la Casa de Yavé, la casa real y arpas y liras para los músicos. Tal clase de madera de sándalo no ha entrado [más], ni se ha vuelto a ver hasta hoy.
13 And the king Solomon he gave to [the] queen of Sheba all desire her which she asked besides [that] which he had given to her according to [the] hand of the king Solomon and she turned and she went to own land her she and servants her.
El rey Salomón dio a la reina de Sabá cuanto ella quiso pedirle, además de lo que Salomón le dio según su espléndida generosidad. Entonces ella se regresó a su tierra con sus esclavos.
14 And it was [the] weight of the gold which it came to Solomon in a year one six hundred sixty and six talent[s] of gold.
El peso del oro que le llegaba a Salomón cada año era 22 toneladas,
15 Apart from [the] men of the merchants and [the] merchandise of the traders and all [the] kings of the Arab[s] and [the] governors of the land.
sin contar lo de los mercaderes, del negocio de especias, de todos los reyes de Arabia, ni lo de los gobernadores de la tierra.
16 And he made the king Solomon two hundred body shield[s] gold beaten six hundred gold he put up on the body shield one.
El rey Salomón hizo 200 escudos grandes de oro martillado de 6,6 kilogramos en cada escudo.
17 And three hundred shields gold beaten three minas gold he put up on the shield one and he put them the king [the] House of [the] Forest of Lebanon.
Hizo además 300 escudos de oro martillado de 1,65 kilogramos de oro en cada escudo, los cuales el rey colocó en la casa del bosque del Líbano.
18 And he made the king a throne of ivory great and he overlaid it gold refined.
También el rey hizo un gran trono de marfil y lo recubrió de oro refinado.
19 Six steps [belonged] to the throne and a top round [belonged] to the throne behind it and hands from this and from this [were] to [the] place of the sitting and two lions [were] standing beside the hands.
El trono tenía seis gradas y el respaldo tenía una cabeza de becerro. A ambos lados del asiento tenía soportes para los brazos, y junto a los brazos había dos leones en pie.
20 And two [plus] ten lions [were] standing there on [the] six the steps from this and from this not it had been made thus for all kingdoms.
Había igualmente 12 leones en pie, uno a cada lado de las seis gradas. Jamás se hizo algo semejante para algún reino.
21 And all [the] vessels of [the] drink of the king Solomon [were] gold and all [the] utensils of [the] House of [the] Forest of Lebanon [were] gold pure gold there not [was] silver not [it was] reckoned in [the] days of Solomon to anything.
Todos los vasos para beber el rey Salomón eran de oro. Toda la vajilla de la casa del bosque del Líbano eran de oro puro. Nada era de plata, pues en los días de Salomón ésta no era estimada en absoluto,
22 For [the] ship[s] of Tarshish [belonged] to the king on the sea with [the] ship[s] of Hiram one [time] to three years it came - [the] ship[s] of Tarshish carrying gold and silver ivori and monkeys and apes.
porque el rey tenía la flota de Tarsis con la flota de Hiram en el mar. Una vez cada tres años llegaba la flota de Tarsis con oro, plata, marfil, monos y pavos reales.
23 And he became great the king Solomon more than all [the] kings of the earth to wealth and to wisdom.
El rey Salomón fue más grande que todos los reyes de la tierra en riquezas y en sabiduría.
24 And all the earth [were] seeking [the] face of Solomon to hear wisdom his which he had put God in heart his.
Toda la tierra procuraba estar en presencia de Salomón para oír la sabiduría que ʼElohim puso en su corazón.
25 And they [were] bringing each gift his articles of silver and articles of gold and garments and weaponry and spices horses and mules [the] matter of a year in a year.
Cada año, todos ellos le llevaban su presente: objetos de plata y de oro, ropas, armas, perfumes, caballos y mulas.
26 And he gathered Solomon chariotry and horsemen and it belonged to him one thousand and four hundred chariot[s] and two [plus] ten thousand horsemen and he led them in [the] cities of chariotry and with the king in Jerusalem.
Salomón también acumuló carruajes de guerra y jinetes. Tuvo 1.400 carruajes y 12.000 jinetes, los cuales situó en las ciudades de los carruajes y en Jerusalén, cerca del rey.
27 And he made the king silver in Jerusalem like stone and cedars he made like the sycamores which [are] in the Shephelah for abundance.
El rey logró que la plata en Jerusalén fuera tan común como las piedras y que el cedro fuera tan abundante como los sicómoros de la Sefela.
28 And [the] export of the horses which [belonged] to Solomon [was] from Egypt and from Que [the] traders of the king they took [them] from Que for a price.
Los caballos de Salomón procedían de Egipto y Coa. Los mercaderes del rey los adquirían en Coa al contado.
29 And it came up and it came out a chariot from Egypt for six hundred silver and a horse for fifty and one hundred and thus to all [the] kings of the Hittites and to [the] kings of Aram by hand their they brought [them] out.
Cada carruaje que entraba de Egipto costaba 6,6 kilogramos de plata, y cada caballo 1,65 kilogramos. Por medio de [los mercaderes del rey] todos los reyes de los heteos y los de Siria también los adquirían.
