< 1 Kings 10 >
1 And [the] queen of Sheba [was] hearing [the] report of Solomon to [the] name of Yahweh and she came to put to [the] test him by difficult matters.
Rĩrĩa Mũthamaki mũndũ-wa-nja wa Sheba aiguire ngumo ya Solomoni na ũhoro wa ngwatanĩro yake na rĩĩtwa rĩa Jehova-rĩ, agĩũka kũmũgeria na ũndũ wa kũmũũria ciũria nditũ.
2 And she came Jerusalem towards with a retinue numerous very camels carrying spices and gold much very and stone[s] precious and she came to Solomon and she spoke to him all that it was with heart her.
Agĩkinya Jerusalemu arũmĩrĩirwo nĩ andũ aingĩ mũno, na ngamĩĩra ikuuĩte mahuti marĩa manungi wega, na thahabu nyingĩ mũno, na tũhiga twa goro, agĩthiĩ harĩ Solomoni, akĩaria nake maũndũ mothe marĩa maarĩ meciiria-inĩ make.
3 And he told to her Solomon all words her not it was anything hidden from the king which not he told to her.
Nake Solomoni agĩcookia ciũria ciake ciothe; gũtirĩ ũndũ o na ũmwe mũthamaki aaremirwo nĩkũmũtaarĩria.
4 And she saw [the] queen of Sheba all [the] wisdom of Solomon and the house which he had built.
Rĩrĩa mũthamaki-mũndũ-wa-nja ũcio wa Sheba onire ũũgĩ wothe wa Solomoni o na nyũmba ya ũthamaki ĩrĩa aakĩte,
5 And [the] food of table his and [the] seating of servants his and [the] standing of (servants his *Q(K)*) and clothes their and cup-bearers his and burnt offering[s] his which he offered up [the] house of Yahweh and not it was in her still breath.
na irio iria ciarĩ metha-inĩ yake, na ũrĩa anene ake maikaraga metha-inĩ, na ũrĩa ndungata iria ciatungataga ciehumbĩte, na arĩa maamũheaga gĩa kũnyua, o na magongona ma njino marĩa aarutagĩra hekarũ-inĩ ya Jehova, agĩkĩgega mũno.
6 And she said to the king truth it was the word which I heard in own land my on words your and on wisdom your.
Akĩĩra Mũthamaki Solomoni atĩrĩ, “Ũhoro ũrĩa ndaiguire ndĩ bũrũri wakwa ũkoniĩ maũndũ marĩa wĩkĩte, o na ũũgĩ waku, nĩ ũhoro wa ma kũna.
7 And not I believed the words until that I came and they saw eyes my and here! not it was told to me the half you have added wisdom and good to the report which I heard.
No ndietĩkirie maũndũ macio nginya rĩrĩa ndĩrokire gũkũ, na ndĩreyonera na maitho makwa niĩ mwene. Ti-itherũ, o na ndierĩtwo nuthu ya maũndũ macio. Ũhoro wa ũũgĩ waku o na ũtonga waku, nĩikĩrĩte mũno makĩria ũrĩa wothe ndaiguĩte.
8 How blessed! [are] people your how blessed! [are] servants your these who stand before you continually who hear wisdom your.
Kaĩ gũkena nĩ andũ aku-ĩ! Ningĩ gũkena nĩ anene aku arĩa marũgamaga mbere yaku hĩndĩ ciothe makaiguaga ũũgĩ waku!
9 May he be Yahweh God your blessed who he delights in you to put you on [the] throne of Israel because loves Yahweh Israel for ever and he has appointed you to king to do justice and righteousness.
Jehova Ngai waku arogoocwo, ũrĩa ũkenetio nĩwe, agagũikarĩria gĩtĩ kĩa ũnene gĩa Isiraeli. Tondũ wa wendo wa Jehova wa tene na tene kũrĩ Isiraeli, nĩagũtuĩte mũthamaki, nĩgeetha ũtũũrie kĩhooto na ũthingu.”
10 And she gave to the king one hundred and twenty - talent[s] of gold and spices much very and stone[s] precious not it has come like the spice that again to abundance which she gave [the] queen of Sheba to the king Solomon.
Agĩkĩhe mũthamaki taranda igana rĩa mĩrongo ĩĩrĩ, cia thahabu, na mahuti marĩa manungi wega maingĩ mũno, na tũhiga twa goro. Gũtirĩ hĩndĩ ĩngĩ kũrĩ kwarehwo mahuti manungi wega ta marĩa Mũthamaki mũndũ-wa-nja ũcio wa Sheba aaheire Mũthamaki Solomoni.
11 And also [the] ship[s] of Hiram which it carried gold from Ophir it brought from Ophir wood of almug much very and stone[s] precious.
(Marikabu cia Hiramu nĩ ciarehire thahabu kuuma Ofiri, o na ikĩrehe mĩrigo mĩnene ya mĩthandari na tũhiga twa goro kuuma kuo.
12 And he made the king [the] wood of the almug support[s] for [the] house of Yahweh and for [the] house of the king and harps and lyres for the singers not it has come thus wood of almug and not it has been seen until the day this.
Mũthamaki aahũthĩrire mĩthandari ĩyo gwaka itugĩ cia gũtiirĩrĩra hekarũ ya Jehova na cia nyũmba ya ũthamaki, na gũthondekera aini inanda cia mũgeeto o na cia kĩnũbi. Kuuma mũthenya ũcio gũtirĩ kwarehwo kuuma na nja kana gũkooneka mĩthandari mĩingĩ ũguo.)
13 And the king Solomon he gave to [the] queen of Sheba all desire her which she asked besides [that] which he had given to her according to [the] hand of the king Solomon and she turned and she went to own land her she and servants her.

14 And it was [the] weight of the gold which it came to Solomon in a year one six hundred sixty and six talent[s] of gold.
Ũritũ wa thahabu ĩrĩa Solomoni aamũkagĩra o mwaka warĩ wa taranda magana matandatũ ma mĩrongo ĩtandatũ,
15 Apart from [the] men of the merchants and [the] merchandise of the traders and all [the] kings of the Arab[s] and [the] governors of the land.
ĩtataranĩirio na igooti rĩa athũgũri na onjorithia na ya kuuma kũrĩ athamaki a Arabia, othe, na abarũthi a bũrũri.
16 And he made the king Solomon two hundred body shield[s] gold beaten six hundred gold he put up on the body shield one.
Mũthamaki Solomoni agĩthondeka ngo nene magana meerĩ cia thahabu hũũre; o ĩmwe yathondeketwo na ũritũ wa beka magana matandatũ cia thahabu.
17 And three hundred shields gold beaten three minas gold he put up on the shield one and he put them the king [the] House of [the] Forest of Lebanon.
Ningĩ agĩthondeka ngo nini magana matatũ cia thahabu hũũre; o ĩmwe yathondeketwo na ũritũ wa mina ithatũ cia thahabu. Mũthamaki agĩciiga Nyũmba ya Ũthamaki ĩrĩa yetagwo Mũtitũ wa Lebanoni.
18 And he made the king a throne of ivory great and he overlaid it gold refined.
Ningĩ mũthamaki agĩthondeka gĩtĩ gĩa ũthamaki kĩnene mũno, kĩgemetio mwena wa na thĩinĩ na mĩguongo na mwena wa na nja gĩkagemio na thahabu therie.
19 Six steps [belonged] to the throne and a top round [belonged] to the throne behind it and hands from this and from this [were] to [the] place of the sitting and two lions [were] standing beside the hands.
Gĩtĩ kĩu kĩa ũnene kĩarĩ na ngathĩ ya makinya matandatũ, na thuutha wakĩo igũrũ kĩarĩ gĩa gĩthiũrũrĩ. Mĩena-inĩ yeerĩ ya gĩtĩ kĩu kĩarĩ na handũ ha kũigĩrĩra moko, na nĩ haarĩ na mĩhiano ya mĩrũũthi ĩrũgamĩte mĩena-inĩ yeerĩ ya moko macio.
20 And two [plus] ten lions [were] standing there on [the] six the steps from this and from this not it had been made thus for all kingdoms.
Mĩhiano ĩngĩ ikũmi na ĩĩrĩ ya mĩrũũthi yarũgamĩtio ngathĩ-inĩ ĩyo ya makinya matandatũ. O ikinya rĩa ngathĩ rĩarĩ na mũhiano wa mũrũũthi o mwena. Gũtirĩ gĩtĩ kĩngĩ ta kĩu gĩathondeketwo mbere ĩyo gĩa ũthamaki ũngĩ o na ũrĩkũ.
21 And all [the] vessels of [the] drink of the king Solomon [were] gold and all [the] utensils of [the] House of [the] Forest of Lebanon [were] gold pure gold there not [was] silver not [it was] reckoned in [the] days of Solomon to anything.

22 For [the] ship[s] of Tarshish [belonged] to the king on the sea with [the] ship[s] of Hiram one [time] to three years it came - [the] ship[s] of Tarshish carrying gold and silver ivori and monkeys and apes.
Mũthamaki aarĩ na marikabu nyingĩ cia wonjoria iria-inĩ, hamwe na marikabu cia Hiramu. O riita rĩmwe thĩinĩ wa mĩaka ĩtatũ, nĩciacookaga ikuuĩte thahabu, na betha, na mĩguongo, na ngĩma, na nũgũ.
23 And he became great the king Solomon more than all [the] kings of the earth to wealth and to wisdom.
Mũthamaki Solomoni aarĩ na ũtonga na ũũgĩ mũingĩ gũkĩra athamaki arĩa angĩ othe a thĩ.
24 And all the earth [were] seeking [the] face of Solomon to hear wisdom his which he had put God in heart his.
Andũ a thĩ yothe nĩmacaragia ũrĩa mangĩona Solomoni nĩguo maigue ũũgĩ ũrĩa Ngai eekĩrĩte ngoro-inĩ yake.
25 And they [were] bringing each gift his articles of silver and articles of gold and garments and weaponry and spices horses and mules [the] matter of a year in a year.
Andũ arĩa mookaga kũmuona mwaka o mwaka nĩmamũrehagĩra iheo; indo cia betha, na cia thahabu, na nguo ndaaya, na indo cia mbaara, na mahuti manungi wega, na mbarathi, na nyũmbũ.
26 And he gathered Solomon chariotry and horsemen and it belonged to him one thousand and four hundred chariot[s] and two [plus] ten thousand horsemen and he led them in [the] cities of chariotry and with the king in Jerusalem.
Solomoni nĩacookanĩrĩirie ngaari cia ita na mbarathi; aarĩ na ngaari cia ita 1,400, na mbarathi 12,000 iria aigĩte matũũra-inĩ manene ma ngaari cia ita, na akaiga iria ingĩ hakuhĩ nake kũu Jerusalemu.
27 And he made the king silver in Jerusalem like stone and cedars he made like the sycamores which [are] in the Shephelah for abundance.
Mũthamaki nĩatũmire betha cingĩhe Jerusalemu o ta mahiga, mĩtarakwa nayo yarĩ mĩingĩ o ta mĩtĩ ya mĩkũyũ ĩrĩa ĩrĩ magũrũ-inĩ ma irĩma.
28 And [the] export of the horses which [belonged] to Solomon [was] from Egypt and from Que [the] traders of the king they took [them] from Que for a price.

29 And it came up and it came out a chariot from Egypt for six hundred silver and a horse for fifty and one hundred and thus to all [the] kings of the Hittites and to [the] kings of Aram by hand their they brought [them] out.
