< 1 Kings 10 >

1 And [the] queen of Sheba [was] hearing [the] report of Solomon to [the] name of Yahweh and she came to put to [the] test him by difficult matters.
Da Dronningen af Saba hørte Salomos Ry, kom hun for at prøve ham med Gaader.
2 And she came Jerusalem towards with a retinue numerous very camels carrying spices and gold much very and stone[s] precious and she came to Solomon and she spoke to him all that it was with heart her.
Hun kom til Jerusalem med et saare stort Følge og med Kameler, der bar Røgelse, Guld i store Mængder og Ædelsten. Og da hun var kommet til Salomo, talte hun til ham om alt, hvad der laa hende paa Hjerte.
3 And he told to her Solomon all words her not it was anything hidden from the king which not he told to her.
Men Salomo svarede paa alle hendes Spørgsmaal, og intet som helst var skjult for Kongen, han gav hende Svar paa alt.
4 And she saw [the] queen of Sheba all [the] wisdom of Solomon and the house which he had built.
Og da Dronningen af Saba saa al Salomos Visdom, Huset han havde bygget,
5 And [the] food of table his and [the] seating of servants his and [the] standing of (servants his *Q(K)*) and clothes their and cup-bearers his and burnt offering[s] his which he offered up [the] house of Yahweh and not it was in her still breath.
Maden paa hans Bord, hans Folks Boliger, hans Tjeneres Optræden og deres Klæder, hans Mundskænke og Brændofrene, han ofrede i HERRENS Hus, var hun ude af sig selv;
6 And she said to the king truth it was the word which I heard in own land my on words your and on wisdom your.
og hun sagde til Kongen: »Sandt var, hvad jeg i mit Land hørte sige om dig og din Visdom!
7 And not I believed the words until that I came and they saw eyes my and here! not it was told to me the half you have added wisdom and good to the report which I heard.
Jeg troede ikke, hvad der sagdes, før jeg kom og saa det med egne Øjne; og se, ikke engang det halve er mig fortalt, thi din Visdom og Herlighed overgaar, hvad Rygtet sagde mig om dig!
8 How blessed! [are] people your how blessed! [are] servants your these who stand before you continually who hear wisdom your.
Lykkelige dine Hustruer, lykkelige dine Folk, som altid er om dig og hører din Visdom!
9 May he be Yahweh God your blessed who he delights in you to put you on [the] throne of Israel because loves Yahweh Israel for ever and he has appointed you to king to do justice and righteousness.
Lovet være HERREN din Gud, som fandt behag i dig og satte dig paa Israels Trone! Fordi HERREN elsker Israel evindelig, satte han dig til Konge, til at øve ret og Retfærdighed.«
10 And she gave to the king one hundred and twenty - talent[s] of gold and spices much very and stone[s] precious not it has come like the spice that again to abundance which she gave [the] queen of Sheba to the king Solomon.
Derpaa gav hun Kongen 120 Guldtalenter, Røgelse i store Mængder og Ædelsten; og aldrig er der siden kommet saa megen Røgelse til Landet som den, Dronningen af Saba gav Kong Salomo.
11 And also [the] ship[s] of Hiram which it carried gold from Ophir it brought from Ophir wood of almug much very and stone[s] precious.
Desuden bragte Hirams Skibe, som hentede Guld i Ofir, Almuggimtræ i store Mængder og Ædelsten fra Ofir,
12 And he made the king [the] wood of the almug support[s] for [the] house of Yahweh and for [the] house of the king and harps and lyres for the singers not it has come thus wood of almug and not it has been seen until the day this.
og af Almuggimtræet lod Kongen lave Rækværk til HERRENS Hus og Kongens Palads, desuden Citre og Harper til Sangerne. Saa meget Almuggimtræ er hidtil ikke set eller kommet til Landet.
13 And the king Solomon he gave to [the] queen of Sheba all desire her which she asked besides [that] which he had given to her according to [the] hand of the king Solomon and she turned and she went to own land her she and servants her.
Og Kong Salomo gav Dronningen af Saba alt, hvad hun ønskede og bad om, foruden hvad han af sig selv kongeligen skænkede hende. Derpaa begav hun sig med sit Følge hjem til sit Land.
14 And it was [the] weight of the gold which it came to Solomon in a year one six hundred sixty and six talent[s] of gold.
Vægten af det Guld, som i et Aar indførtes af Salomo, udgjorde 666 Guldtalenter,
15 Apart from [the] men of the merchants and [the] merchandise of the traders and all [the] kings of the Arab[s] and [the] governors of the land.
de ikke medregnet, hvad der indkom i Afgift fra de undertvungne Folk og ved Købmændenes Handel og fra alle Arabiens Konger og Landets Statholdere.
16 And he made the king Solomon two hundred body shield[s] gold beaten six hundred gold he put up on the body shield one.
Kong Salomo lod hamre 200 Guldskjolde, hvert paa 600 Sekel Guld,
17 And three hundred shields gold beaten three minas gold he put up on the shield one and he put them the king [the] House of [the] Forest of Lebanon.
og 300 mindre Guldskjolde, hvert paa tre Miner Guld; dem lod Kongen henlægge i Libanonskovhuset.
18 And he made the king a throne of ivory great and he overlaid it gold refined.
Fremdeles lod Kongen lave en stor Elfenbenstrone, overtrukket med lutret Guld.
19 Six steps [belonged] to the throne and a top round [belonged] to the throne behind it and hands from this and from this [were] to [the] place of the sitting and two lions [were] standing beside the hands.
Tronen havde seks Trin, og paa dens Ryg var der Tyrehoveder; paa begge Sider af Sædet var der Arme, og ved Armene stod der to Løver;
20 And two [plus] ten lions [were] standing there on [the] six the steps from this and from this not it had been made thus for all kingdoms.
tillige stod der tolv Løver paa de seks Trin, seks paa hver Side. Der er ikke lavet Mage til Trone i noget andet Rige.
21 And all [the] vessels of [the] drink of the king Solomon [were] gold and all [the] utensils of [the] House of [the] Forest of Lebanon [were] gold pure gold there not [was] silver not [it was] reckoned in [the] days of Solomon to anything.
Alle Kong Salomos Drikkekar var af Guld og alle Redskaber i Libanonskovhuset af fint Guld; Sølv regnedes ikke for noget i Kong Salomos Dage.
22 For [the] ship[s] of Tarshish [belonged] to the king on the sea with [the] ship[s] of Hiram one [time] to three years it came - [the] ship[s] of Tarshish carrying gold and silver ivori and monkeys and apes.
Kongen havde nemlig Tarsisskibe i Søen sammen med Hirams Skibe; og en Gang hvert tredje Aar kom Tarsisskibene, ladet med Guld, Sølv, Elfenben, Aber og Paafugle.
23 And he became great the king Solomon more than all [the] kings of the earth to wealth and to wisdom.
Kong Salomo overgik alle Jordens Konger i Rigdom og Visdom.
24 And all the earth [were] seeking [the] face of Solomon to hear wisdom his which he had put God in heart his.
Fra alle Jordens Egne søgte man hen til Salomo for at høre den Visdom, Gud havde lagt i hans Hjerte;
25 And they [were] bringing each gift his articles of silver and articles of gold and garments and weaponry and spices horses and mules [the] matter of a year in a year.
og alle bragte de Gaver med: Sølv og Guldsager, Klæder, Vaaben, Røgelse, Heste og Muldyr; saaledes gik det Aar efter Aar.
26 And he gathered Solomon chariotry and horsemen and it belonged to him one thousand and four hundred chariot[s] and two [plus] ten thousand horsemen and he led them in [the] cities of chariotry and with the king in Jerusalem.
Salomo anskaffede sig Stridsvogne og Ryttere, og han havde 1400 Vogne og 12 000 Ryttere; dem lagde han dels i Vognbyerne, dels hos sig i Jerusalem.
27 And he made the king silver in Jerusalem like stone and cedars he made like the sycamores which [are] in the Shephelah for abundance.
Kongen bragte det dertil, at Sølv i Jerusalem var lige saa almindeligt som Sten, og Cedertræ lige saa almindeligt som Morbærfigentræ i Lavlandet. —
28 And [the] export of the horses which [belonged] to Solomon [was] from Egypt and from Que [the] traders of the king they took [them] from Que for a price.
Hestene, Salomo indførte, kom fra Mizrajim og Kove; Kongens Handelsfolk købte dem i Kove.
29 And it came up and it came out a chariot from Egypt for six hundred silver and a horse for fifty and one hundred and thus to all [the] kings of the Hittites and to [the] kings of Aram by hand their they brought [them] out.
En Vogn udførtes fra Mizrajim for 600 Sekel Sølv, en Hest for 150. Ligeledes udførtes de ved Handelsfolkene til alle Hetiternes og Arams Konger.
