< 1 John 4 >
1 Beloved, not every spirit do believe but do test the spirits whether of God they are, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
ⲁ̅ⲛⲁⲙⲉⲛⲣⲁϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲛⲁϩϯ ⳿ⲉⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲣⲓⲇⲟⲕⲓⲙⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ϫⲉ ⲓⲉ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⲛⲉ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⳿ⲙⲯⲉⲩⲇⲟ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏ ⲧⲏⲥ ⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ.
2 By this (you know *NK(O)*) the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses Jesus Christ in [the] flesh having come of God is.
ⲃ̅ϧⲉⲛ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲥⲟⲩⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲣⲟⲙⲟⲗⲟⲅⲓⲛ ϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⲡⲉ.
3 and any spirit that not confesses Jesus (Christ in flesh having come *K*) from God not is; And this is that of the antichrist which you have heard that is coming and now in the world is already.
ⲅ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲛⲁ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲛ⳿ϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ ⳿ⲛⲒⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲁⲛⲧⲓ⳿ⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ϫⲉ ⳿ϥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ϥϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ϩⲏⲇⲏ.
4 you yourselves from God are, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is the [One] in you than the [one] in the world.
ⲇ̅⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲫϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϭⲣⲟ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲏⲉⲧϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲫⲏⲉⲧϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ.
5 They themselves of the world are; because of this from out of the world they speak and the world to them listens.
ⲉ̅⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲥⲉⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ.
6 We ourselves of God are; The [one] knowing God listens to us; He who not is from God not listens to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.
ⲋ̅⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ϣⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲛ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲥⲟⲩⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏ ⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯ⳿ⲡⲗⲁⲛⲏ.
7 Beloved, we may love one another, because love from God is and everyone who is loving from God has been born and knows God;
ⲍ̅ⲛⲁⲙⲉⲛⲣⲁϯ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ϯⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲣⲁⲅⲁⲡⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲙⲁⲥϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲫϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ϥⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ.
8 The [one] not loving not has known God, because God love is.
ⲏ̅ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲛ⳿ϥⲉⲣⲁⲅⲁⲡⲁⲛ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥⲥⲟⲩⲉⲛ ⲫϯ ϫⲉ ⲫϯ ⲟⲩⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲡⲉ.
9 In this has been revealed the love of God among us, that the Son of Him the one and only has sent God into the world so that we may live through Him.
ⲑ̅ϧⲉⲛ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲁ ϯⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲁⲥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥⲙⲟⲛⲟⲅⲉⲛⲏⲥ ⳿ⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲫϯ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲱⲛϧ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ.
10 In this is love, not that we ourselves (have loved *N(k)O*) God, but that He himself loved us and He sent the Son of Him [as] a propitiation for the sins of us.
ⲓ̅ⲁⲣⲉ ϯⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲭ ⲟⲧⲓ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲁⲛⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲫϯ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲁϥⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥϣⲏ ⲣⲓ ⲉⲩⲥⲱϯ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲛⲟⲃⲓ.
11 Beloved, if so God loved us, also we ourselves ought one another to love;
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲛⲁⲙⲉⲛⲣⲁϯ ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲁ ⲫϯ ⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲥⲉⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲁ ϩⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏ ⲟⲩ.
12 God no [one] at any time has seen; if we shall love one another, God in us abides and the love of Him in us perfected is.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲫϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲛϣⲁⲛⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ ⲫϯ ϣⲟⲡ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲉϥⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ϫⲏⲕ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧⲉⲛ.
13 By this we know that in Him we abide and He in us, because from out the Spirit of Him He has given to us.
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ϧⲉⲛ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲛϣⲟⲡ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ϩⲱϥ ⳿ϥϣⲟⲡ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉ ⲁϥϯ ⲛⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉϥⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅.
14 And we ourselves have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son [as] Savior of the world.
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲁⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁ ⳿ⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉⲩⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ.
15 Who[ever] (maybe *N(k)O*) shall confess that Jesus (Christ *O*) is the Son of God, God in him abides and he in God.
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁⲉⲣⲟⲙⲟⲗⲟⲅⲓⲛ ϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⲡⲉ ⲫϯ ϣⲟⲡ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ϩⲱϥ ⳿ϥϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛ ⲫϯ.
16 And we ourselves have come to know and we have come to believe the love that has God as to us. God love is, and the [one] abiding in love in God abides, and God in him (abides. *NO*)
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲁⲛ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ⳿ⲉϯⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧⲉⲛ ⲫϯ ⲟⲩⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⳿ϥϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛ ⲫϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫϯ ϣⲟⲡ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ.
17 In this has been perfected love with us, so that confidence we may have in the day of judgment, that even as He is also we ourselves are in world this.
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ϧⲉⲛ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲁ ϯⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ϫⲱⲕ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛϫⲓⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲡⲁⲣⲣⲏⲥⲓⲁ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯ⳿ⲕⲣⲓⲥⲓⲥ ϫⲉ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲉϥϣⲟⲡ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲫⲏ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ϩⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ.
18 Fear no there is in love, but perfect love out casts fear, because the fear punishment has; the [one] now fearing not has been perfected in love.
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ϩⲟϯ ϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϯⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲉⲧϫⲏⲕ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϣⲁⲥϩⲓ ϯ ϩⲟϯ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯϩⲟϯ ⲛⲟⲩⲕⲟⲗⲁⲥⲓⲥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ⳿ϥϫⲏⲕ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ.
19 We ourselves love (him *K*) because He himself first loved us.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲓ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲁϥⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ.
20 If anyone shall say that I love God and the brother of him may hate, a liar he is; The [one] for not loving the brother of him whom he has seen, God whom not he has seen (not *N(K)O*) is he able to love;
ⲕ̅ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲓ ⳿ⲙⲫⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲙⲟⲥϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥⲥⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲁⲙⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲛ⳿ϥⲙⲉⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥⲥⲟⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲉϥⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲫϯ ⲉⲧⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲡⲱⲥ ⲛⲁ⳿ϣϫⲉⲙϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲙⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧϥ.
21 And this the commandment we have from Him, that the [one] loving God may love also the brother of him.
